Hello! I'm new to this guild and very eager to become an active member! I recently read a wonderful analysis on Kubricks' film that discussed the visual semiotics and encoding behind the movie and the monolith. Here is the link for anyone interested 2001: A Space Odyssey - an in depth analysis- it's lengthy but well worth it! I'd love to hear what you think on the subject as well. the underlying messages in the film are quite heavy, and connected to things like Masonic checkerboards, Alice in Wonderland, and other weird crap that gives people nightmares.
