I doodle, plain and simple, and sometimes, the inspiration of where I doodle comes from nowhere.  Without knowing what it means, I often tell others when something is wierd, hard, or if they are just new to the company, "Welcome to Flavor Country." Well, I looked up the definitin of Flavor Country, and it turns out that it is used in cigarette commercials as that one place of bliss when you smoke a cigarette. Inspiration hit, and this was born. Comments?

Well to be honest the art is less than first rate. Problems with eyes and hair. But having just seen "Thank you for Smoking" I appreciate the subject matter.

Burakku_Kitsune Well to be honest the art is less than first rate. Problems with eyes and hair. But having just seen "Thank you for Smoking" I appreciate the subject matter. As I always say, I nowhere near first rate, I just doodle around. After uploading the image, I noticed the eyes and this was my first time trying to draw short hair (I always draw long as its easier for me). Still, this a lot better than most of the doodles I make. If it was the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, he sure is doing his job in the wrong way. No, I actually tried to draw my own head, especially since I had gotten a haircut.

That's what his name means, is it? One question finally answered. For some reason, some of those cigs and such looked like little limbs to me at first glance. On looking again, I can only assume sleep-deprivation was really taking it's toll by that point. sweatdrop

Usually I see a doodle, sketch, painting; any form of art and think to myself 'what is it trying to communicate?' Now, I'm not going to say whether it's good or bad...but what message are you trying to put across? If strongly for "style" merit, it seems to me that, it being "doodled" with no attention to shading, anatomical correctness, realism; or any other basic art rule...I'd say that you're trying to attract youth and tell them that smoking is fun.

I like how all the different smoking things are splayed out around his mouth.
Have you thought about adding colour?
Also, show us more of your doodles! If you're so inclined.

Considering I have no training in art whatsoever, I take that as a bit of a compliment XD I guess it's something that reflects my view to the meaning of the phrase, both in the sarcastic and the urban. Dont have anything to color with, and I have yet to get an art program to do this on the PC. I am still working on some doodles for the RP blogs that the Mod Blog will be set to. Once they are finished, the tumblr blogs will be posted up. More doodles to come!
