Mechanical whirrs and low hums emit from this booth. The zomboil behind the stand is often standing or leaning against the counter, looking a bit hesitant as strangers approach– he seems to have a touch of social anxiety – but quick to warm up to them once the proverbial ice has been broken. ”Welcome!” he greets with a smile, hands clasped before him. The metal construct for his left arm emits a brief blue glow from its palm, almost as if it too was saying hello. ”Feel free for taking pizza or braincon or, er, any’ve food here, even if d-don’t play games or vote. Though, ah, p-promise have neat prizes for lucky winners!”
Skewed speech patterns aside, at least he seemed earnest?
(( This booth operates in CST and resets at midnight. Quote me if you're interacting with Mort! ))
PLEASE NOTE that you can only get two consolation prizes max per day

x x x x x BEHIND THE BRAINS
Mort is a third year videogame-loving zombie with a penchant for troll rolls questioning boundaries and experimenting to find better solutions to old problems (and maybe even problems you haven’t thought of yet!). He has a tendency to seek out those in trouble and find a way to take on their burdens, always striving to fill his schedule up with new projects – if anything, the stress and responsibility gives him a small high. If you need someone to give a clinical opinion on an issue, Mort’s your guy. The scientific method dictates his logic, and he always tries to look at both sides of the situation before making a call – and even then, scientific exploration is much like life in that there's always something new to be curious about, always room for improvement, and always another test to conduct!
The only thing that won’t ever come into question is his loyalty to the students and faculty, whatever grievances there may be. Mort is a low-key, laidback sort of boil who prefers to talk it out (and Jack can he rant if given the chance) rather than use violence, though if there’s an issue then he’s not afraid to go tackle it, even if it leads to a battle. The undead endurance works well for him in his endeavors as he doesn’t need to sleep as much and can also handle more wear and tear than normally accepted, so he’s reachable at almost all hours of the night and day! Well, if he didn’t fry himself again at least.
A self-professed technophiliac, Mort’s always looking for ways to improve and upgrade things. The most prominent of these examples is Thor, his left arm, which is still only a work in progress yet already proving to be a better defense than his old fleshy one in battle; he hopes to begin 2.0 soon after the festival, and many other projects otherwise. One of these he’s hoping to build on is better school security because, well, how many times have Hunters managed to get through to the grounds?
But more than that, this zomboil wants to help ease students old and new through the difficult times they had, have, and probably still will face. He’s had more than an inkling of suffering himself and is keen on the subject of creating a supportive environment, be it through a program or simply offering to listen and be a wall to bounce thoughts off of. So if you need an ear, he’s got one to spare! Or an arm. Or a leg. Or, mrr, there might be an extra eye somewhere in that mess of his room if you really need it . . .
All in all, the only slow things about this guy are his feet! Mort's ready and willing to serve the populace in any capacity he can, and if you really are what you eat, then he's all brainsssss.

THE SUGGESTION BOX
On the counter of the booth lies a somewhat unassuming box with a slit through the top, waiting to be filled. A small pile of index cards and pens are settled nearby for use. There is also a notepad by the box that is continually updated with the more plausible or popular ideas, for public viewing.
Following the tenets of an open door policy and an expressed interest in what the students and horsemen have to say, Mort has set up a suggestion box for their collective comments and ideas to be housed in. He looks a little eager to those taking the time to write down their thoughts and thanks them once the card has been dropped.
The OOC Let Amity hear your voice! Simply rp your student/horseman coming up and filling out the card with the form below. Quest students/ponies can as well if they feel like it. At the end of the day, all those who have submitted a card will raffled off for a few tokens! These cards are a tad small, so it's recommended to keep each to one idea with a few sentences at most. FEEDING THE BOX Character Name: Character Species/Class: Year: Comment/Suggestion:
Mort's List of Ideas Thus Far ➽ Job Fair (for those unsure of what career to take) ➽ Work w/Scario Kart Club on creating actual race cars for students to drive on a course ➽ Distress Support Program ➽ First Year Outreach Program (pair up with an older student to show you the ropes!)
Miscellaneous Suggestions ➽ DDD machines in all of the classrooms, and a new cafeteria menu featuring all brain related food. ➽ More small group outings! ➽ More space for the Movie Club! They could probably also provide movies for learning in class. Or perhaps, a bigger space for the (the card is too small to fit the rest)

ARM WRESTLING
The mech arm sits on its elbow at rest and is silent until the player decides to hit the switch to start it up. It whirs to life and clenches its fist experimentally before holding out its hand, ready for the next challenge. You get the distinct feeling that though it has no sentience, at the same time it really, really wants to take you down.
Meet Thor's prototype, Odin! Mort has repurposed the machine for a contest of strength, though there is a reason it was retired in favor of the current version he wears: it sometimes short-circuits and has a strangely surly disposition to any who challenge it.
THE OOC Grab Odin's hand, wait for the 3 second countdown on the dashboard, and try to pin it down on the buzzer before it pins you! Roll 1d100 and match the results: 1-20 - Weak! Odin eats punks like you for breakfast. It slams your hand down shortly after the countdown finishes. 21-40 - There is a small struggle, but the result is inevitable: Odin won't be taken down so easily! 41-60 - Back and forth you go, and towards the end you almost manage to get Odin down. Then it sparks you and slams your hand down before you can recover. D: Mort feels a little bad and lets you take your pick of an IC prize. 61-75 - You're both evenly matched until, with a sudden clanging noise, the arm gives in and is easily defeated. Huh! Guess it short-circuited. You win 1 token! 76-90 - Odin attempts to squeeze your hand tightly to force you down, but you soldier on and slam that sucker down after a few close rounds. Take that! You've won 2 tokens! 91-100 - You engage the machine in an epic battle of strength, both sides close to losing on several occasions. Odin pulls out all the stops: Death Grip, shocking, maybe even twisting. But in the end, you defeat it with a resounding slam and the arm whirs in grudging defeat; you can almost feel it glaring at you anytime you come back. You've won 2 tokens + either 2 random alchemy materials or 15k silver! (please edit your minies sn in) If you fail to get high enough, you win the consolation prize instead! (See IC prizes below) You may play this game twice a day but only claim the prize for one. Remember to quote me if you won something!
The highest scores at the end of the festival will all be raffled off to win a skittershark or floresce air swimmer of their choice. Bat-teries and screelium included and no assembly required!

ROBOTIC RAMPAGE
A pair of foot tall constructs await in an allocated, circular arena to do battle. They look a little battleworn but, hey, this was what their programming was made for!
THE OOC Grab a bot's controller and see if you can lead it to victory! This game can be played once a day against the CPU or once a day with a partner.Solo• Both robots begin with 12 HP. The CPU does an auto 2 damage each time you roll. • Roll 2d6 - 4 to attack and whittle down the CPU's HP before it gets you! Keep track of both your HPs as well as what round it is. You must continue until one of you is defeated. • At 0 HP or below the robot become unresponsive and tilt over. Mort doesn't actually want you destroying his babies. ;~; If you defeated the CPU in: 2 rounds: You are the mechanical master manipulator! An astounded Mort cheers and hands over four tokens + your choice of an IC prize (see below). 3-4 rounds: Impressive! You receive 2 tokens + IC prize (see below) 5 rounds: Not bad! You receive 1 token + IC prize (you get the gist) 6 rounds/Fail: It was a good try! Have a consolation prize. Partners• Each of you will roll 1d10 for 3 rounds. The higher the number, the more aggressive and successful your attack is. • Whoever has the highest cumulative score at the end wins two tokens + IC item! The loser gets a consolation prize instead. • In the event of a tie, roll a 4th round.
Highscores will be tracked for both versions of the game (or in the case of the solo game, the fewest rounds). Both will be raffled off at the end of the festival to win a custom-made steampunk accessory of their own choice!
