 You see this is my Pokemon Refuge. I save a lot of injured pokemon from the wild and bring them here to live temporarily.When young trainers come here, I let them catch the pokemon and befriend them. So here I’ll give you three pokeballs, these are capsules used to catch pokemon. Now don’t be shy, there’s a great variety of pokemon back here go on and get your starter. 
*You may post here to catch your starter! Explore using the map above for help. When catching your starter, have your character run into a pokemon and explain or alaberate how ever much you'd like. Just end your post will you throwing the pokeball. Myself or Agace will decide if you catch the pokemon.Have fun!*~CassyEdit: Just wanted to make things clear for you guys.
When either I or Agace says you've caught a pokemon.

Chad gratefully took his three pokeballs from the Professor and walked into the back of the rehabilitation center for Pokémon. He didn’t know what kind of Pokémon he wanted yet, but he decided to let fate decide and not be picky. Whatever Pokémon he ran into first would be the one for him, or so he believed. Chad didn’t like to think about how he would plan out his journey. He was more of a ‘just do it’ kind of guy. At least, that’s what he wanted to convince himself he was.
Chad stepped into the backyard of the facility, immediately finding himself face to face with a large field that he would have to tread through. There was no doubt in his mind that Pokémon would be lurking in it. To his right, he could see a pond that seemed like it would have some Pokémon in it as well, and directly in front of him, way far beyond the grass, he could see mountains that probably contained ground based Pokémon.
He only thought about it for a moment before ultimately deciding he would look around the grass for his very first Pokémon. Ultimately he didn’t know what to expect, and in a way, that was kind of the exciting thing to Chad.
Chad stepped into the grass and began to make his way through it, keeping an eye out for any Pokémon that might be lurking. It didn’t take him long before he found a Nincada sitting silently, staring intently at Chad, almost as though he were trying to communicate something through eye contact. Chad saw this and smiled warmly, doing his best to appear non-threatening. “I’m not going to hurt you, come here.” Chad crouched down so that he was at eye level with the weary Nincada. The Pokémon didn’t seem like it was going to make a mad dash for it, so Chad scooted closer and closer until he was within arm’s length of the Pokémon.
Chad sat there for several seconds; staring at the Pokémon and watching it stare back. Chad didn’t think it was going to run since he’d done nothing to scare Nincada off. Still, he could help but feel like maybe he was doing something wrong. “Would you like to come with me?” Chad looked like a big oaf sitting there trying to be all sensitive when in reality he still appeared rough and violent considering the time he devoted to working out. Of course, Chad knew that Pokémon didn’t really care about appearances; it was all about the under-tone.
The Nincada looked only for a few more seconds before Chad made the irrational decision. He quickly stood up and kicked the Nincada, causing it to go reeling into a tree. The Nincada looked around, dazed and startled. Chad knew that the power behind his kicked were rather difficult to ignore since he worked out for a living. The Nincada staggered around in circles, most probably because its head was still ringing from the powerful kick.
Chad knew that the trick was to make the pokemon lower its guard, then deliver a blow that could've passed any kind of test.
Before the Nincada could realize what was going on, Chad threw a pokeball at the pokemon and prayed that it would be caught...

  Kadaj laughed as he walked through the safari. It almost seemed like some kind of joke that none of the Pokémon were showing up for him. “Come out, come out wherever you are.” Kadaj pounced into a soft tuft of grass only to land flat on his face. Again, no Pokémon were showing up. Where the hell were they all? It didn’t really make sense, but then again, nothing really made sense to Kadaj. He did know though that being loud was probably the number one reason all the Pokémon were pretty much hiding. “Do I really need to be quiet fella’s?” Kadaj waited for an answer, and surprisingly enough, he got one. A lone Poochyena jumped out from behind a large bush and began barking like there was no tomorrow. “Whoa, shut-up dog thing, you’re giving me a headache!”
The Poochyena was stubborn, it kept barking and barking, never letting up even for a second. Kadaj knew what it was doing, it was warning all the other Pokémon here that there was an intruder, someone who didn’t belong. “Look little dude, I don’t have time for you, just trot away unless you want a piece of this.” Kadaj ran his fingers over his own body for a moment and then taunted the Poochyena which even made it even angrier. The small Pokémon launched itself at Kadaj with a tackle attack, acting extremely reckless as he did so.
The Pokémon missed, miserably, and tackeld directly into a small boulder that was sitting behind Kadaj. “Whoa, you know I can step out of the way right?” Poochyena laid motionless for a moment before instantly jumping back to its feet and returned to barking. Clearly it didn’t want to try another tackle attack because it figured it would only hurt itself again. “Ah, erm, well uh- there’s no way I’m going to find another Pokémon here with you barking so can you like, well you know, shut-up?” Kadaj laughed hysterically at himself, clearly thinking that his joke was the funniest thing ever.
The Poochyena didn’t think so though. It riled itself up for one more tackle attack. It charged at full speed towards Kadaj and this time, it actually connected and Kadaj fell on his rump.
After staring at Poochyena in awe for a moment, Kadaj stood up and grinned in a malicious way. “You know, I was looking for a Pokémon out here, but you scared them all away. You know what that means right?” Kadaj pulled a poke-ball from his pocket and aimed it at Poochyena. “You’re coming with me.”
Poochyena didn’t seem to like the offer. Immediately it charged again with another tackle attack, this time aiming for the private area of Kadaj. “Hey, lay off the jewels!” Kadaj easily slapped the Poochyena across the face, causing it to veer off course and tackle the dirt beneath it. “Alright little dude, enough playing around, you’re coming with me.” Before the Poochyena could jump up, Kadaj hurtled a Poke-ball through the air towards the Poochyena and hit it in the head with it causing the Poke-Ball opened and sealed the Poochyena inside. “Time to play the waiting game with this little dude.” Kadaj leaned against a tree and watched as the Poke-Ball shifted left and right. All he could do now was just wait and see if this was a success.

  The two siblings shared identical bright smiles, the elder of the two was female while the younger was male. Myridia smiled warmly at her brother's egerness "Now, Tobren...remember Mother and Father always said--"
"The first Partner you gain in your new journey will be one to help you overcome a weakness of yourself. Maybe even one you never knew you had..." her brother finished tossing one pokeball in the air and catching it. Smiling brightly at his elder sister he gave a quick bow to the Professor before running off.
Myridia sighed. "Thank you Professor, I'm sure we'll meet our perfect partners here."
The two siblings walked out into the enclosure, Myridia crossing her arms lightly over her mid-driff as Tobren bounced excitedly around. She shook her head at her younger brother and walked gracefully to a small grassy hill near the water and trees. Looking around she absently fiddled with her pendant a forming darkness in her heart at memories of joy filled days, heaving a deep sigh she glance up to her brother. Tobren had run around saying things that his sister didn't hear due to her precoupied mind, turning around he placed his hands on his hips.
"Myridia Eliza Burrows! Were you listening to a thing your little brother was telling you?" he asked with a pout.
Myridia couldn't help her chuckle as she saw something looming behind her brother, "No, Tobren. I wasn't, but I suggest that you--"
Tobren shrieked like a girl as a Pokemon came up behind him, shooting into the nearest tree the rookie looked down at Sycther that was there. He shot a glare to his sister, "Not funny!"
Myridia stood and walked over to the now laughing Pokemon, picking up a wayward branch she lightly wacked it upside its head, "Getting a laugh at another's expense is hardly mature..."
The Sycther didn't like that too much as it tried to attack, Myridia gasped before ducking and watched as it landed in the water below. She stood quickly as it appeared to drown, going to its side she pulled it up out of the shallow water.
"Oh dear...you went and tuckered yourself out didn't you? Well...up on shore you go!" Myridia placed the worn out Sycther on the shore, heedless of the Shuppet behind her brother.
"WAH!!!!" Tobren cried out in alarm, as he fell his foot smacked the poor Shuppet into a higher branch knocking the poor creature out cold.
Myridia thought about something, "Oh...so you're my new partner?"
"You gotta be kidding me!" Tobren exclaimed. Both siblings shared a nod and threw a Pokeball at the Pokemon they encountered...

"Isn't it funny at how life never works out for you?" Chrome smiled politely at the Professor, calmly taking the pokeballs into his left hand the youth walked into the Refuge. His dark gray scanned the areas as the Pokeball's in his left hand started to move like one would a chime ball... "Grassy areas contain Bugs and your usual common place varities...Water and shorelines present one with the option of a swimmer, while the Rocky areas give you the option of a toughened fighter...I do wonder though..."
His personal hope was that for a Skitty, a rarely encountered Normal type from his home region of Hoenn. Bitterly remembering his last moments there Chrome starting walking with no clear pathway set, hearing startled Pokemon flee at his approach the male smirked. "Yes, run...that's what everyone seemed to do for me..." Chrome muttered with a breathy sigh, the bitterness in his voice giving it a rough edge. Not minding his surroundings he soon looked up to a rather large tree, "I am not going up there..."A sudden twig snap alerted the male to a Pokemon approaching, holding his breath he exhaled in a rush at the sight of a Houndour. "You are not what I'm hoping for...but, maybe you'll prove your use." He said. The Houndour merely glared and bared its teeth, Chrome couldn't help the chuckle and moved to cross his arms pocketing two of the Pokeball's while the third rested in a curled fist, "Well, little puppy...think you can handle the big mean human?"The Houndour lunged with a cry and was momentarily airborne as Chrome moved swfitly to the side. Its eyes went wide as it hit the large tree and slid down rendering itself unconscious. "Ouch...Human: 1, Puppy: 0." Chrome chuckled, thinking on it he decided he'd try to catch the insolent pup, "It's not every day something bares its fangs at me..."He threw one pokeball...  Rebecca Lynn Becca watched as the professor walked back into the laboratory. She grinned. “Alright let’s do this!” Becca cheered. She walked forward into some tall grass. She wondered what Pokemon she’d catch. She walked for a while she saw many different types of pokemon around her. She came upon a smaller then normal waterfall, she stood above it surveying the crystal clear water falling below into a miniature lake. She sat down and gazed at the water pokemon beneath.
“Hmm..” “There’s a poliwag, and oh! A goldeen!” She said to herself. Becca was always great at identifying pokemon. She became so distracted by the pokemon beneath, she didn’t realize one was right next to her. She felt something lean against her. “AHH!” She gasped. Becca looked and saw a petite green pokemon next to her. “Pe…peti” it said. Rebecca’s heart melted, she scooped up the tiny Pokemon. “You are a petilil!” “Wow I thought they only lived in the Unova region!” She hugged the pokemon tightly. “Alright, I’m gonna catch you!” she set the Pokemon down and tossed a poke ball at it. Petilil quickly dodged. “…WHAT!” Becca yelled. “Get into the pokeball!” She yelled. But Petilil scurried away.
She huffed and puffed impatiently. Rebecca stomped through some tall grass, she spotted something shaking in the grass. “This is my chance.” she yelled as she threw a rock at it smacking the mystery pokemon in the head. “Se…waddle!” A sewaddle hopped up from the grass, immediately Becca threw a poke ball. It sucked up the pokemon and shook on the ground.

╚════════════════════╝ Sonne walked into the Refuge looking around somehow already sensing how the refuge would look so he just went into the grass "Come on you little shits where are you..." as he was moving about he heard the grass rustling 'hmm i wonder' it happened to be exactly what he thought it was "Ralts! good a physic pokemon..." he looked at it then growled. Sonne went up to the innocent pokemon and kicked it and then went to step on its face showing the pokemon it has no plan to play around with it "Listen here i don't like you and you right now don't like me but you will get in this ball..." he got off of the pokemon and then throw the pokeball at pokemons face Location: Rose's Refuge [

 ♦ ♦ Naano Hotaru ♦ ♦ ♦~♦~♦~♦~♦~♦~♦~♦~♦~♦~♦~♦
Naano quietly stowed two of the pokeballs in her bag, while keeping one in her hand. She looked up at Rose for some insight or guidance. Now that she was on her ow, she really didn't know what to do. "Go make your grandfather proud" was all she said, and it was enough. Raising her head up high, Naano smiled up at Rose "No matter what, I'll make sure that I do. I owe him that." And with that, she turned and headed into the reserve.
It was quite peaceful, the reserve, and beautiful. Pokemon of all shapes and sizes flittered to and fro, sometimes playing games or foraging or hunting. There were so many of them! Grass, bug, normal, water, ground, and maybe even some psychics! She really didn't knwo where to begin. Water would be nice, but she wasn't too crazy about that. Ground wasn't really her forte, and she wasn't too keen on bug types. Naano kept running ideas through her head but couldn't decide. "I'll just let fate handle it!" she finally decided "I'll know the right one when I meet it!"
She migrated towards the grass, thinking that it was a good place to start. As she shuffled through the foliage, she saw caterpies and shinxes and pidgies, but couldn't feel any conncections. Being the clumsy girl she was, she eventually managed to stumble over a tree root and fall flat on her face while scraping her knee. "Ow! Damn it..." Naano glanced down at her bloody knee and bandaged it up with supplies from her bag. To make herself feel better, she began eating some berries from a nearby bush when suddenly a cute little fluffy brown pokemon jumped out and landed in her lab. "W-what?!!" Naano exclaimed. She notced the pokemon in her lap was in fact, an eevee. "awee look at you little one! How ar-" the eevee began nudging her hand with it's snout "Oh, are you hungry?". The eevee licked it's lips hungrily as Naano rached onto the bush and fed the pokemon the sweet berries.
"Alright little one, I feel like we have a strong bond, so I'm going to catch you!" Naano clicked open the pokeball and attempted to capture the eevee, but it wouldn't stay. "Oh, that's right....I have to weaken you, right?" She shifted her eyes around and fixed her sitting position awkwardly. "But, I don't want to hurt you... I wanna be friends! What should I...? Oh! I know" she quickly reached into her bag and pulled out a Persim Berry. "If you enjoy sweet erries so much, then lets see how you feel about this one!" She tossed the berry towards the eevee, who quickly swalled it whole. Suddenly, it got a nauseous look. "I'm really sorry little one!"
And she threw her second pokebal...
