I WISH!
I suck hardcore at knitting in general though. I may attempt some crochet socks in the future though.

I started out with Silvers sock class on double pointed needles and then kept practicing that with worsted weight yarn because sock yarn is a little bit too expensive to start out with, in my opinion. Then with the basics memorized you can add in ribbing or cables. It's really pretty simple after you get your first pair of socks done. And a tip I have is to cast on the second sock right away, so you don't get second sock syndrome.

I do, although I've only made fairly simple socks so far. I was planning to do something more complicated soon.

Yeah, I figured that it cannot be impossible since people do it, but I had yet to find a good tutorial for it. In the textilework classes I took at school my group always knit mittens instead of socks, and instead of a heel I learnt to make a thumb.

I like doing heels and toes because they're so fun and challenging. I hate doing the parts where there are just endless rounds of stockinette or ribbing. (Then I discovered making lace socks. heart They take away all the tedium for me!)

I've just been doing stockinette and ribbing
