LOOKS :

Jack is always dressed nicely without being formal. He stands at 5'8", likes to wear button up shirts, generally dark in color and untucked. He is often seen in blue jeans, with a leather belt and leather boots. He has brown hair that’s in a short messy style which is almost always covered with a fedora. His fedora is a black beaver pelt with a black ribbon above the brim. His hazel eyes peer from beneath the brim always analyzing the world. He has a well-trimmed goatee which gives him a serious look.

PERSONALITY :

Jack doesn't smile much and doesn't get angry very often; in fact he doesn't show any emotion often. Growing up he was taught to be successful your emotions cannot interfere though in reality he would like to have fun and goof off. Once people get to know him, he will start to relax around them to some degree allowing his emotions to shine through. Jack has a very big heart and this can be seen through his actions and career.

One of his interests and passions lies within his work, Cybernetics. Through it a person may regain the ability to see, run or hold objects if they are missing limbs and even slow or stop the degeneration of a nervous system. He chose this field of work in order to help people who no others could help.

While in school, due to his kind nature people often took advantage of him and lying to get his help. During this time he noticed those who are willing to lie, are more apt to continue lying. They have also shown they are less likely to work towards a solution and more likely to assign blame for a problem. This has engrained the inability to completely believe a new person, he will give them the benefit of doubt but keep an eye open for any deception. Though he is mistrustful, he does save his final judgement until after he gets to know them better.

HISTORY :

Jack is originally from a suburb east of Duram. He grew up in the country learning how rewarding manual labor could be. Through school, he found out that he loved to learn as much as work with his hands.

His father was an engineer and taught him the basic principles of machines. He had wanted to do whatever he could to help those whose life had taken from them their independence. So he pushed himself hard in school to become a scientist. After graduating from Gambino University, he began working at the research center.

Romantic relationships never came easily to Jack. Over the years, he had been in a few relationships but he never seemed to spend enough time with them. His primary concern was school, so he was often studying. It wasn't due to a lack of interested, in fact he eventually wanted kids, he just had little experience or understanding in this area.

Originally, he came to the Lab to talk with Dr. Kyou to get his thoughts on some of the road blocks hes encountered in his research. While at the Lab he came across the Raevans for the first time. As a scientist they fascinated him with their complexity and disregard for physics as he understood it. Upon further observation they seemed no different than humans, which was quite remarkable.

Black Jaguar (Dominant recessive):

Jaguars have been known throughout mythology for their ferocity, power and valor. No matter where the civilization or how isolated they were from each other, each one had myths about jaguars and black panthers. They were the keepers of the underworld, fighting off the underworld so the world may see the sun the next day. Jaguar even means "he who kills with one blow" in the Native American language. In each of these societies, they believed that jaguars were perfect hunters and yet they were protectors of their people. They were able to rise above their earthly desires yet they were uninhibited when it came to their desires.

Dolphin:

Dolphins in many mythology have been seen as very playful, intelligent and wise creatures. In Greek mythology they were also closely related to romance and the bringing of two people together. Specifically they were Poseidon's messengers and were the ones that brought him his beloved nymph who he later married. They were even depicted as carrying Aphrodite on occasion. They were also seen as the saviors of sailors and helpers of people in general.
