Implanted Swift Release

The user has been implanted with catalyzed parasitic foreign cells which have aggressively melded with his DNA to grant him the swift release kekkei genkai. It is unknown how Swift release speciffically functions, however it is an adavanced chakra nature kekkei allowing the user to transform his chakra into pure speed. This ability is the purest form of nintaijutsu, making the user generate speeds unmatchable by other elemental techniques.

Requirements: Viral Genkai Cell Solution, Experimental Catalyst
Special:
*Gives the host the Swift Release kekkei genkai.
*Techniques are used at a 20% increased chakra cost and are 20% more effective.

The user channels swift chakra in order to greatly increase the speed of his throwing motion, significantly increasing the projectile's velocity. This gives the opponent less time to react and increases the object's impact strength.

Jinton: Jinpo (Swift Release: Swift Step)

The most basic form of the swift release. This technique is an adapted version of the Body Flicker Technique fow which swift natured chakra is applied to increase its efficieny. Based on the same basic principle as its parent jutsu, the user activates his chakra to achieve increased speeds in order to move between various spots. However, swift natured chakra is added to technique, dramatically increasing the user's speed. Even to the trained eye, this jutsu generates such velocity that the user may appear to teleport from one location to the other.
Cp Cost: 30 cp or 2 per ft.
Dice Rolls: 2
Damage: Regular attack damage.
Awareness DC: 10 + Ninjutsu + 2 per 10 ranks in Chakra Control.
Requirements: Jinton, Ninjutsu 20, Chakra Control 15, Sneak Attack 20, Dexterity 20, Shunshin no Jutsu
Training: 2 stages.
Stage I: Ninjutsu DC 30, Adding swift chakra to the regular body flicker technique.
Stage II: Chakra Control DC 25. Controlling the movement and distance of the new jutsu.
Special:
*When rolling initiation checks or racing, or anything that involves speed, add [Ninjutsu] to the dice roll. Does not nullify Stealth checks
*If technique is used offensively, user launches an attack of the highest Base Attack Bonus of the dice rolls used to intitate this jutsu. Target must pass awareness check or the attack will be considered a sneak attack.
*If technique is used defensively, add [Ninjutsu/2] to Dodge or Reflex against a single attack or jutsu.


C-Rank

Jinton: Shungeki (Swift Release: Flash Charge)

The user saturates his system with swift chakra that is released in the form of one lightning quick charge at the opponent. The impact strength is so great that it dramatically increases the damage dealt by a slashing weapon or sends the opponent tumbling if done with a blunt weapon or a taijutsu attack.

Damage: Regular attack damage + 3x chakra mod (if bladed) or + chakra mod (if blunt).
Reflex DC: 12 + Ninjutsu + 2 per 10 ranks in Chakra Control.
Acrobatics: 12 + chk mod + 2 per 10 ranks in Chakra Control.
Requirements: Jinton, Ninjutsu 25, Chakra Control 25, Athletics 25, Taijutsu/Melee Weapon 25
Training: 3 stages.
Stage I: Athletics DC 35, Develloping an effective and fast charge towards an opponent.
Stage II: Ninjutsu DC 35, Generating massive amounts of swift chakra for a single burst.
Stage III: Chakra Control DC 35, Mastering the release of chakra to achieve maximum acceleration once contact is initiated with the target.
Special:
*If user used a taijutsu or blunt weapon attack, opponent must pass an Acrobatics check to maintain his balance.
*If victim fails Acrobatics check, his or her dodge bonus is 0 and/or forfeits his attacks for the next 3 attack turns (dice rolls), whichever comes first. If an attack requires more dice rolls than are left to the victim's penalty, victim can attempt a dodge normally.

Jinton: Semeren (Swift Release: Barrage of Strikes)

Channeling swift chakra into his arms, the user unleashes a flurry of strikes against a target, leaving practically no time to react.

Requirements: Jinton, Ninjutsu 35, Chakra Control 35, Melee Weapon/Taijutsu 35, Strength 30.
Training: 4 stages.
Stage I: Ninjutsu DC 50, Effectively charging your swift chakra into your arms to spend it as efficiently as possible to maximize the technique's efficiency.
Stage II: Chakra Control DC 45, Releasing bursts of swift chakra into your arms to launch lightning quick individual attacks.
Stage III: Taijutsu/Melee Weapon DC 45, Controlling your blows so they all land on target despite the increased speed.
Stage IV: Strength DC 22, Maintaining the strength of the blows despite the focus on pure speed.
Special:
*User launches [Chakra Control / 10] attacks at the highest base attack bonus of the dice rolls used to channel the jutsu. All are counted in the same attack roll.
*A succesful block will negate the first attacks of this technique, but all others will go through the victim's guard and cause regular damage.

Jinton: Mueishō (Swift Release: Shadowless Flight)

The ultimate application of the Swift Release. The user charges his body with swift chakra to temporarily increase his speed to unmatchable levels. This technique is used to move at very fast speeds, rapidly striking opponents at various angles while avoiding any opposition.

Stage II: Awareness DC 40. Adjusting your senses to hyperspeed..
Stage III: Dexterity DC 20, Learning to dodge and keep your footing while never slowing down.
Stage IV: Melee Weapon/Taijutsu DC 55, Using melee combat effectively during the technique.
Stage V: Ninjutsu DC 60, Performing complex combat movements in a constant hyper speed mode.
Special:
*Effect lasts for [Chakra Control / 15] turns excluding channeling turn. Each offensive and defensive sequences individually count as a single turn.
*Add [Ninjutsu / 2] to Base Attack Bonus. Increase number of attacks accordingly.
*Add [Ninjutsu] to Dodge Rating, Reflex, Athletics, and any check involving speed.

Pause. Take a deep breath. Focus on your opponent. Hit them where it hurts. By sacrificing additional attacks, Masaraku can gain a +10 to her attack role. This is achieved ICly by just analyzing the situation.

Stage III: Ninjutsu DC 35, Use the jutsu on random strangers. Spread the love.
Special:
*If jutsu connects, target must pass a fortitude save or afflicted with the drunken status for their next 8 post. (Deduct 8 to all rolls involving Dex, Int, Wis, or Cha in any way, as well as attack rolls and Fortitude saves.)
*The next post, this decreases to -7, then -6, then -5, -4, -3,-2, -1. After that the jutsu has effectively worn off.
*Effect is cumulative, for a maximum penalty of 10.

Chakra Transferal Technique
The act of transferring your chakra to another person is as simple as molding your chakra, thus any ninja who has done chakra molding at some point can use it. Simple lay your hands upon the one you intend to transfer your chakra to and will it to go to them.

Kaede had been preparing the room for hours already. He had actually started even before the young shinobi had been summoned to the facility. It seemed like they already knew what his decision would be... A "test subject" they called him. Most likely just a good kid who wouldn't turn down an order. Even after all these years, it was difficult for him to consider these young men and women as mere guinea pigs for experiments. This particular project, code named "Beast", was to be implanted with a seal, some sort of experimental formula that had been stolen from the Rain Village a couple of weeks ago by the black ops. Well, stolen was putting it simply, it had actually been stolen, reproduced, falsified, and brought back to the village on turtle back...

So many things could go wrong with this experiment. A simple variation in a brush stroke could have been enough to liquify the subject's DNA, a miscalculation in the chakra concentrations in the seal enough to fry his nervous system. No wonder they hadn't chosen a figurehead of the village for it. As if the risks still weren't significant enough, no intel had ever been gathered about those who had develloped the basics of this seal, or how complete the project was at the time of its larcen...

Being the compulsive perfectionnist that he was, Kaede had nevertheless verified every single detail about the theory behind this unique seal, and, on paper, eveything appeared to check out. The characters had all been carefully drawn around the room, spreading from the center where the subject would immobilized all the way across the floors, walls and ceiling. All had been positionned with the utmost precision, their location measured by the tenth of a millimeter, leaving nothing to chance. Still, despite all of his efforts, he couldn't help but feel uneasy about the fact that even he couldn't estimate the actual chances of success of this experiment, a fact he couldn't even think about without a shiver running down his spine.

Nevertheless, the scientist that he was had no choice but to feel curious about the potential this project showed. It seems that there is nothing like scientific curiousity to make you forget for a second about basic human empathy. If, by chance, the implantation did prove succesful, the potency of this seal would be incredible, and the shinobi would certainly become a major assett to the village, nearly as much in skill as in his research value.

Not wasting anymore time, as soon as Kaede was signaled by his assistant that the subject had arrived at the compound, he opened the door and coldly called the young man out. "Akara, Shinzu. You're up."

Chuushaki had just finished up prepping the operating theater for the surgery that was about to get underway. She was pretty excited, it wasn't very often that this room was used for operations, and after all these years in the shadows of the black ops it was fun being in the spotlight for a change. She understood the basic principle behind this though... In all logic, you'd rarely want an audience for top secret genetic experiments.

Still, if they had opted for this specific room, the subject must have been a relatively high profile shinobi; otherwise no one would have really cared. Seats seemed to have already been assigned for various dignitaries and she had noticed on a couple of occasion some guards inspecting the premises. The theater itself was fairly empty in comparison. All there was in it was a huge box in which the secret solution was locked and the table itself, set up for nothing more than an injection.

As the time for the surgery drew near, a young assistant ran to her with a tablet. On it figured the profile of the subject who was to be injected with the experimental formula. She couldn't help but think it was about time she was informed about the specifics of the operation. As she flipped through the first pages, Chuushaki was a bit surprised. She had been expecting a renowned jounin or even the kage himself with the attendance that was preparing in the room, but instead it appeared the subject was only a chuunin. His name did sound familiar, but he certainly wasn't a public figure by any means.

She kept skimming through the pages until she stumbled upon the reason why he had been chosen: his weapon. It appeared this little known shinobi had been entrusted with the Hoshigaki's legendary weapon, Samehada, a few months back. This, to her, made sense. It wasn't so much that it proved what must have been the boy's worth, but his bond with Samehada would significantly reduce the odds of complications as it had the unique ability to repair damage to its host even at the cellular level. This would certainly prove a valuable ressource as these genkai transfusions had a nasty habit of reducing a hosts DNA to a mess of carbon and proteins...

She was still reading when the spectators started getting seated. It appeared it was finally showtime.

Gantai was in a bad mood. He was finishing up on grading his various medical corps' regular evaluations, and they all sucked. He was angrily scribbling down hateful comments on the various papers and summoning a good number of his shinobis for "additionnal one on one training." It wasn't clear what that might've been; but it could certainly be him kicking your a** and asking you to heal the damage afterwards.

As he vehemently flipped the pages from one evaluation to the next, he came across a report for a new potential recruit for the medical corps. The review from the evaluator was eulogistic on all accounts. Taking a few moments to read through it in more details, he got a quick idea of the type of shinobi he was. He wasn't exactly Gantai's style, since he certainly couldn't bash someone's face in on the battlefield, but it had been noted that his medical skills were very impressive and his agility was off the charts, which certainly made him a potent candidate for field medic.

Taking a few moments to consider it, he turned his eyes to the scroll that had just been sent to him by the black ops. Gantai had always hated those guys, sneaking around in the shadows doing dirty deeds. It was good for them their identities were secret; otherwise he would have taught a few of them a lesson in honor and combat! Still, a note had been sent to him with the secret scroll "asking" that he hand this over to his best medic. They probably expected him to hand this out to a jounin full of himself who'd barely know how to use it. But, with the evaluations he had just received, he certainly didn't feel like rewarding any of them with something other than his fist in the face.

Wanting to send his squad message, all the while teaching the black ops he wasn't their pawn, he yelled to his assistant: "BRING ME THAT... BATSU WATANABE KID! STAT!".
