Doesn't matter if your favorite voice actor speaks English, Japanese, or whatever. Who's your favorite and why?

I have a small crush on Kappei Yamaguchi. He's Inuyasha's seiyuu in the Japanese version, as well as the Japanese Bugs Bunny! I wish I knew more about him or what he was in so you guys could check him out but he is flawless.
I saw him at a con and he was very nice, polite, and hilarious. Also he obliged us by yelling "Kaze no Kizu" and "Bakuurya" (Wind scar and Backlash wave)

Takahiro Sakurai. His voice is uber smexy x3~ I first heard his voice in his role of Tentomon, a digimon back in like... 2000? xD I was like... such a cute voice! x3 Then he took on uber smexy roles as Kanda Yuu (D Grayman), Kira (Bleach), Yamazaki Susumu (Peacemaker Kurogane), Shito (Zombie Loan) and that antagonist dude from Karas which I forgot his name xP. But I guess he was best known for his role as Cloud Strife =D

For me, it's Chris Patton and Greg Ayres. Chris has played tons of roles in the English dubs of anime like Graham in Baccano!, Creed in Black Cat, Lavi in D. Gray Man, Sousuke in Fullmetal Panic!, and Hajime in Ghost Stories. Apparently, he retired from anime voice acting a couple of years ago, and is now working on several audiobook projects. He's already finished narrating Beastly, which for me was such a trip to listen to. He also voiced for this commercial.
Greg Ayres has played Kaoru in Ouran HSHC, Koyuki in BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad (where he actually sings!), Goku in Saiyuki, Kenshin in Sengoku Basara, and way more, often in ones with Chris Patton in them.

For me I prefer my fav voice actors to speak english as I prefer to understand them.
Crispin Freeman just cause of how distinctive and powerful his voice can be as well as Johnny Young Bosch, mainly him because I saw him when i was a kid in Power rangers before I ever got into anime and manga.

D. C. freaking Douglas. Even if I didn't already love his voice-work, these would pretty much cinch it for me. Kim Mai Guest is pretty good, too, as her being in nearly every game and anime in the last 15+ years would attest.

Gosh, there are too many. I think I ultimately have to go with Jim Cummings. I know he isn't really an anime voice actor, but he's done so much stuff, way back into my childhood. Basically this. He's just been everywhere. And as soon as I heard his character in the new WoW expansion I knew it was him and fell even more in love. But honestly, I think he is one of the only ones I know outside anime. Otherwise, I think I'd have to go with Vic Mignogna because I've never been more in love with a character as with Edward Elric. Going on 9 years of having a crush on a fake charatcer (except it's not nearly as bad as it used to be), oops! Greg Ayres is definitely a very good one, as well as Crispin Freeman. No matter what, I think I really need to get back into anime, because VAs are good!

That's one thing I wish they would add on every single release of every redubbed anime, is a gag reel or a blooper reel. Even if the anime is super serious. I like hearing voice actors mess up! It shows us normal people that they're human too!

I've got a lot of faves as well, but I think my top three are Johnny Yong Bosch, Crispin Freeman, and Yuri Lowenthal. Same with seiyuus, but my top two are Romi Paku and Miyano Mamoru. (:

When fans get video footage of voice actors joking around and saying stuff in their [the fan's] favorite character's voices... It's so silly!

My absolute favorite of all time, hands down, is Steven Blum. I recognize his voice the moment I hear it. My favorite role of his is (in the English dub) Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop.
He has a pretty massive list of roles.
He is/was also TOM from Toonami. The host? On the spaceship? Yeah, him. <3
