This is an area to safely practice massive jutsu. It has water to the right side in a little lake and the entire outer ring of sand dunes. The ground caves kinda funny and beyond the Sand dunes isnt normally explored.
[All jutsu get a static -1 to training cost here and bloodline jutsu may follow the academy and dojo reductions in this area and receive an additional 2 post reduction to training time. .)

Thoughts::Well this is something to get my mind off it. Feelings:: Content but troubled Objective:: Stupid plant.
Now Kari was after a special plant, a rare one. She was to mark the spot and then leave. She had a pink ribbon tied to her arm for when she found it. She searched around the pont, usually plants were by the water, especially here in Suna. She couldn't find it here so she moved on. [ 1 // 3]
Kari looked around the sand dunes. She was sure no plant would be here, sand was dry and this was a delicate flower she was looking for. She looked around the sand dunes for a few moments before sighing and going back to the pond. It HAD to be there, she would just have to look harder. [ 2 // 3 ]
She looked around the pond, paying real close attention to all the little tufts of plants. She finally found it after fifteen minutes of looking, it was a small delicate purple flower. She marked it with the little pink ribbon then was on her way. Medi showed up at the grounds attempting to investigate the noise. It was pretty late but it wasn't exactly dark. He decided to walk around the dunes until he could hear the moaning. [1/13]
After walking around a bit it started to get darker.'I hope this is true.. I don't want to sit here all night for no reason.' [2/13]
He started to hear something over the dunes so he ran over it and went toward the noise. It was just a whistling of wind. He didn't like that. The anticipation was kind of killing him. [3/13]
He kept walking around hearing strange noises but he didn't respond to any of them unless they were distinct to the noise that was described. [4/13]
After a while he heard random noises that sort of sounded like moaning but turned out to be nothing. He was kind of getting tired of sitting here and ready to give up but he didn't want to fail the people. [5/13]
It took many hours and now the sky is actually completely dark. He couldn't see too well but he relied on his hearing a lot for directions even though it wasn't perfected. [6/13]
He then heard a slight noise. A noise that could be what he was waiting for. He was anxious for this moment but at the same time scared. 'What makes me think I can take on a monster?' [7/13]
The noise started to get louder as he wandered. He followed the noise volume. Sometimes he would end up walking the wrong way so he went back the way he heard it and kept going in ways the noise increased. [8/13]
The noise started to get continuously louder. It became an obvious moan in the darkness. He noticed a light. He started heading toward it. [8/13]
He got closer and closer and then he saw people parading around a fire. He also saw a cross that a woman was strapped to. He saw a lot of people barely clothed at all. [9/13]
He saw a sight he never wanted to see. He saw a man whipping a woman and people sitting around watching. He was about to charge in there and destroy this man and these people but the woman was enjoying it. [10/13]
Things were going on there that made him want to throw up. He ran over there and said, "What's going on here?!" The people piped up and freaked out. One man remained calm. [11/13]
He started explaining to Medi what was going on. "This is a group called BDSM. We are a life style that enjoys things outside the normal. Nothing here is out of want of the other person. If you wish for me to describe our life style than I will." The girl then piped up and said, "Yes this is what we do to enjoy ourselves." [12/13]
Medi being a medic freaked out at this. "You people enjoy pain for pleasure? What is this? Does the Kage know about this? You are scaring the people with these screams and moans. Many people have thought a legendary monster was out here and they were scared to come to the training grounds." The man started to explain, "The Kage knows of our life and we are allowed to do it as long as we keep away from the public. We didn't know we were close enough to be heard we will move out farther." He then motioned the entire group to get up and they started outward farther passed the dunes to reach a point where they could not be heard. [13/13]
Still scarred at the sight, Medi was frozen for a second but regained himself and ran toward town so that at light he could inform the people at the marketplace that the noise is nothing to be worried about.

Kari walked over to the training grounds and stopped, trying to think of why she couldn't remember where it was. She sighed and rubbed her forehead. It was by the pond... and it was a little purple.. or pink? no it was purple.. Purple flower. She thought for a second then face palmed herself. It had a pink ribbon on it, how hard could it be to find? [ 1 // 4 ]
She walked over to the pound, looking over it. It had to be somewhere here! How hard could it be to find a pink ribbon?! -- There it was. She gently picked the purple flower and started walking back to the hospital. She tried not to drop it, dropping it or smashing it meant a failed mission. Medi walked into the training grounds just leisurely walking. 'I should fill up this seal before anything happens. It's kinda just like a free skill since I can regenerate my chakra unless I needed to use it now.' He then stored chakra into the genesis rebirth seal that was now located on his forehead. After he did that he decided to just practice swinging his swords around with the nine sword style. Then he just decided to go looking around.

Reaching a nice large enough area with no one around. Perfect for this new technique. Placing his second spear sealed back into the scroll he placed it back on to his hip along with the other one. Only needing his main spear for this technique he sat and began to think about how it was going to work again. He knew that Kaori and himself shared elements, why they haven't trained together before was mainly due to the fact of her duties. They even had class together. He always remembered that tiger nova.

Knowing they shared elements is what might have sparked her interest in the jutsu to begin with. He already knew how to launch the silhouette from his spear in raiton form. But that alone was too lacking for a jutsu. Taking a moment to charge raiton into his spear he gave it a swing making a slight raiton arc with the tip of the weapon.

Thinking of how to improove the weapon he tried the tactic again but this time doing a forward thrust. This caused the spear to launch off about 10 yards out crashing into the sand causing a bit of a spark. "Still not good enough. This wont cover it at all. Its too easy to dodge too bright to see coming." He would need a way to prevent them from escaping the attack.

Performing the attack once more he watched as he saw the speed of his thrust had caused some of the sand to blow off of the surface. This gave him an idea, Charging the raiton chakra into the spear again he drew his weapon back channeling massive amounts of Fuuton chakra into the arm holding it. He was about to release both chakra natures into the same thrust.

Combining the two natures together caused a large wind tunnel to jet forth off of the spear end. This shaved the sand down dramatically as it distanced about 30 yards from the spear. The raiton silhouette of the weapon darted out at good speeds through the middle of the tunnel. Crashing at the end of the wind into the sand with sparks shooting out around it. "Now that is more like it." A bit more satisfied with his technique he noticed that night was starting to approach. Hoping the Kage was not too busy to perhaps see him he thought he might stop by the office and see how things were going.
Aki walked out on to the training feilds with a small bag, looking around anad sizing up her job. She then began to walk around, searching the grass for stray objects like kunai and senbon to put in to the bag. Her great eyesight was easily able to search out the reflective objects in the sand.She picked up the object and threw them in the bag before stopping and thinking for a moment. [ 1 // 3; mission start! ]
While she was here she minds as get some training done. She set the bag down near by here and stretched a little bit before removing the happi round her waist. She took a rock from the ground and put it on top of her hand, focusing on it. She was going to try to flip her hand around in till she could catch the pebble in her hand. Her clan was known for it's speed, agility, and reflexes and anyone would be damned if she wasn't going to live up to those expectations. [ 1 // 5 ]
Aki stood there for a little while, foxusing on her hand and imagining the trick in her head. It wasn't a hard thing, she had seen some other gennin to it. Ones who already had fast relfexes were able to easily do it on their first try. The female kitsune began to pump herself up, telling herself that she could do it easily, that it was an easy feat and that any respectable kitsune should be able to flip a pebble over and catch it in that same hand. [ 2 // 5 ]
Before she had time to doubt herself she quickly flipped her hand over, and watched in dismay as she didnt even come close to grabbing it as it fell out of reach. This was a harder trick than she had originally thought, how come she couldn't do something that seemed so simple? But Akitana wouldn't give, up, she would continue trying. No one ever got anything by giving up the first time that they failed. The kitsune quickly picked the rock back up and place it back on the top of her hand, mentally readying herself to try once more. [ 3 // 5 ]
Akitana closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to calm herself, she would get it eventually if only she kept trying. She reopened her eyes and kept trying the trick in quick succession, picking up the rock it placing it back on her hand every time she failed to catch it. She woudl then quickly flip her hand over and snap her hand out, trying to catch the rock as it fell. She repeated this over and over and each time she seemed to get closer and closer to catching the rock, but it would slip out of her grasp again and again. [ 4 // 5 ]
Akitana tried yet again, and this time she almost caught the rock, but it slipped out between her fingers. She hissed in aggravation, but forced herself to take a quick break to calm herself down before she got out of control. She closed her eyes, focusing on the fact that she almost had it that time. Maybe if she tried once more she could actually get it. The kitsune opened her eyes one last time before takign a deep breath and placing the rock back on top of her hand. This was it, she could do it this time and she WOULD do it this time. She flipped the rock off her hand and yet out a small yell of triumph for beating the rock in all it's and gravity's glory. [ 5 // 5; Reflex training completed ]

But by freely imparting this chakra onto a person or thing, they are able to pass on that very same shield.

Tyrika wandered onto the training grounds. For a place that was supposed to be filled with loud and sometimes violent activities, it certainly was exceedingly quiet around her. She found a sunny spot in the middle of the clearing and shut her eyes, taking a long drag from her cigarette, letting the chakra in her lungs filter it for her and she exhaled the cloud of smoke. "perfect..." She said quietly to herself at the ambiance. She liked it here. She slipped her headphones over her ears, cranked up her music and began a kata as she trained.
It would be about an hour before she stopped and pulled another cigarette from her pack. She would light it up and assume a meditative position in the grass, relaxing in the warmth and turning off her music, slipping the headphones off her ears.
Kota wandered down out of the street he had previously been in. He had been told that his apparent team leader would be returning soon, and what her name was. But not much more than that. It hadn't seemed like a problem at first. Not until now at least. He had been waiting for a little while in front of the gates before it hit him. "Wait a minute...I have no clue who this Kris person is! s**t!" He exclaimed loudly and face palmed. Deciding to wait here in the training grounds. Ninja always came back here eventually. Maybe he could find someone to ask who would know.

Kris was so mad, at herself, at this Kumo punk. I mean really, who the ******** did he think he was? It was none of his ******** business what happened on the mission. Those stupid Konoha shinobi... if she had just known or had her full squad... she could have completed the mission. Maybe even gotten to see where her Clan lived. She had never once met another Ikazuchi, she felt so alone in the world sometimes.
Not even watching where she was going she bumped into a young man with a ferret. Not even thinking about it for a minute she quickly snapped out of it and apologized. Her mind was in a bad place still and she was still pretty fuming all things considered but, he was a Suna Nin, no need to be a complete jerk to someone from her own hometown. "Sorry, I didnt see you there. Are you okay? " She had only bumped him but she worried she might have done something without thinking because her mind was in a bad place.
It still kinda was, she liked Circe, but if the girl can't show up for the first mission... well there was nothing she could do. Her hands were kinda tied. Team Desert Thorns eh? This new guy had better be cute or he wouldn't fit with the theme.

Tyrika looked over at the person making the loud noise. He was blonde and had a pet. She had also heard her sensei's name. Right on queue he was bumped into by her sensei. Convenient. She thumped a bit of ash off of her cigarette which fell to the sand. "You there. Blondey. The person your looking for is the chesty one that just bumped into you." She said walking towards them both.
Kota had been much too busy trying to figure out what to do to notice when Kris began walking up to him. He was pacing back and forth in the sand, considering that he might need to find shelter soon. This was out in the middle of the desert after all. When he was bumped into, he nearly fell over. But actually managed to catch his balance at the last second. Turning to look at the woman. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine. Hey, didn't I see you at the Kage's office?" That was when the girl who appeared to be smoking pointed out that the girl who had bumped into her was his Sensei. "What, really? Huh, that's convenient." He turned his attention back to Kris. "Hey there. I'm Kota Hayashi. I guess this means we're going to be working together.
Aki made her way in to the training grounds, and immediately she picked Kris out. She had to hand it to the woman, she stood out like a big red thumb. But there was someone there she didn't recognize, a blonde man with some kind of ferret. "Oi!" The kitsune shouted out before making her way over to the other two girls, "Who's Goldilocks?" She asked, leaning in and sniffing at the male, he even smelled like a ferret, gross.

Tyrika, Aki and now the new guy. Well the gang was all here at least. Kris stepped back a minute and examined the new guy, he was kinda cute, and the ferret was kinda cute. He could work, he could probably fit the vibe of the team pretty well. Hopefully he wasnt a stupid pervert and they could all get along. "Tyrika, Aki, this is our new team member, Kota. I just got back from debriefing the Kazekage about the mission and Circe's unfortunate failure to show up, so she said that Kota here would be her replacement. I know, he isn't as cute as Circe, but he's kinda cute so he will fit with the vibe. Welcome Kota to Team Desert Thorns." She extended her hand to give him a handshake and continued talking, "I'm Kristhyra, but you can just call me Kris. You are the first guy to be on the team, and I hope that you and your partner will respect the fact that its a team full of girls and not let it go to your head." Of course, she would have to train him, test him, see if he would REALLY fit with Desert Thorns or not, but hey at least for now they had a kinda cute blondie and kinda cute ferret on the team. Hopefully things could work out well enough between everyone and all their skills would mesh. She had tested Tyrika herself, but Kota was an unknown and while she certainly trusted Aki, the full extent of her abilities were also an unknown to Kris.
The young man soon found himself surrounded with women. The proceeding time with his team was going to either be amazing or horrendous. He had no idea which yet, although he was hoping for the former. No one liked being stuck with a team they didn't get on with, after all. He eyed the fox woman as she sniffed him. "Hello to you to." He said almost questioningly. Actually leaning away a little in an awkward manner when she leaned in. Attention going back to Kris as she introduced everyone and such. He furrowed his brow a little. "Hey, I dunno who this Circe is. But I plan on not making the same mistake by not showing up. Anyway, thanks. I'll try and do my best. Don't worry. I'm not a creeper or anything. Although I am interested in how this is gonna go. You don't see many teams with just one guy on them. Could be fun." He gave a warm smile. Pointing to his Ferret. "Oh, by the way. This little guy here is Sentret. Although I just call him Daisuke. He's glad to be here too. He might be small, but don't let him fool you. Ever had a pissed off Ferret stuffed down your pants before? Nasty stuff." He laughed, trailing off into an awkward silence.
