Welcome to Mythical Creature Academy
Deep within the small country of Thessia, lies what most scholars would describe as a castle, a palace, some sort of monument to a long forgotten god left by a long forgotten race. Though the truth is sometimes scarier than fiction....for it is really........a highschool for monsters. Well not exactly monsters per say, but plenty of those attend. In reality MCA is a school for all those who are supernaturally aware, human or otherwise. It is larger, more ancient, and grander than the relatively modernized Young Monster High School, and as such attempts to seek out a higher pedigree of students. Though success in those exploits is questionable at best. Any and all may attend, given they have the nerve for it, but do remember one thing. The world is a dangerous place, so we here at MCA can't really be held responsible for any...damages...you might you suffer, you've been warned.

Rules
⒈ Swearing is okay, in fact I encourage misspelling swear words on purpose to get passed censors (note: do not actually misspell swear words to get passed censors) ⒉ This is a rather casual, semi literate rp. We'd like you to maintain some sort of quality to your rping, but we're not going to hound you for it unless your really lazy. ⒊ Crap spelling is fine, just ask Chibbykairi ⒋ Romance is fine, but please take it to pm's or timeskip when it gets to that point. Afterall this isn't that kind of rp ⒌ Your character may be of any race you want (except elves) but please put in a small description if it is a more obscure race ⒍ This rp is set in the same universe as YMHS, but no prior knowledge of that rp is really needed to join, though there may occasionally be cross overs or characters from the other rp coming and going. ⒎ I will be the main person looking over this rp, but I refrain from calling myself a god since I don't have a MASSIVE EGO! *cough cough* everyone else who's ever made an rp ever *cough cough* ⒏ Arguing in ooc is perfectly fine. You are allowed up to three characters to begin with (I say to begin with because anyone who's been in YMHS knows that everyone has way more characters than that before all is said and done). Though for balance purposes you may only have one teacher or high ranking council/committee position. If you prove to be able to handle it I'll allow you to make another high ranking character if you so desire.
13. Please do something to distinguish between when your character is speaking and when they are thinking to themselves. The universal way for this is to use Bold for everything spoken out loud by your character, and Italics for what they're thinking, but as long as they are distinct I will allow you to do what you want.

Principal
The principal is a bit of a shady fellow. So shady infact no one besides the teachers have seen who, or what he/she/it is, and they aren't at liberty to disclose anything. Still he runs the school efficiently from the shadows using either the teachers, or his own personal assistants to get things done.
Teachers
The teaching staff of MCA consists of all sorts of folk, some more pleasant than others. Their really are only three rules for teachers: Do what the principal says, stay within the realm of your assigned teaching subject, and don't do anything that would intentionally cause harm to fellow students and staff. Teachers are incredibly powerful and knowledgeable for the most part, and many have years of experience. As such they're naturally a class above anything most students could hope to achieve power wise, and all have been trained to deal with rowdy students.

Bio: Eclipse was the daughter of the rejected prince of the Underworld Ryo the Fire demon and Val the Frost Demon Queen. She grew up when the two kingdoms of Kabuato and Frost lived in harmony. However, a war broke out when she was 10, killing her parents and extended family. The war was not between the two kingdoms, it was actually the two kingdoms allied against a man that had a mission to destroy the Kabuato bloodline. The war took place for most of her life, only a few Kabuatos and her and her uncle are the only ones left of her family. She sailed away from her old country possibly for a chance to start a new, however she just became a historian instead. MCA had heard about her and offered a job. She only seem to have one mission for the rest of her life and it's to keep the history alive. Personality: She still seemed to maintain her childlike innocence and out look on life despite everything that she been through. She mourns everyday for the deceased specially her family however she has a clear outlook on life. She is stubborn, short tempered and shockingly outspoken. Name: Zali' Usvine
Nickname: Professor Birch
Age: 32
Race: Rogin, a race of plant creatures. Their bodies are essentially a mass of vines centered around a large "seed" that acts as their vital most organ. They are able to freely twist and shape their bodies into any form they please, but humanoid forms are most common. Rogin are able to manipulate other plants and graph them easily onto their bodes. Rogin are able to produce food for themselves just like plants, but they can also consume flesh to get the same nutrients if needed. They usually form a "mask" of wood over their "face" as to make them more identifiable, and for cultural reasons.
Powers: Zali' is able to manipulate the growth of plants, causing them rapidly grow or degrow as he pleases upon contact. He is also able to communicate with other Rogin through scents and pheromones.
Weapons: he carries a sack of seeds from various plants on him at all times, as well as having several types of plant seeds inbedded in his body allready. He is able to make improvised weapons using these seeds. He can also sharpen his own vines to be used as spear like tendrils.
Bio: Zali' was sprouted in one of the many grand forests under Rogin control. There he grew and spent his early life amongst his brethern. Eventually he set off with a few others to try to claim another forest and start a village there. Unfortunately the land was set to be cleared away for industrialization.
He and the other Rogin tried to protest, but they were ignored. Then when things became violent the humans resorted to simply burning the entire forest down, which ended up taking the lives of every except for Zali'. He returned disheartened to his people, but was never really the same. He blamed himself for not being able to save the others and thus commited himself to becoming a healer. Since the other Rogin were allready able to heal themselves he decdied to head out to find a place where his knowledge would be more useful. Thats when he was conacted by MCA and due to his talents became their herbology teacher.
Personality: Despite everything thats happened Zali's manages to remain and calm and caring person. He very much enjoys teaching his students, and believes in forming bonds with others. However he isn't without problems. He does suffer much from the overall reclusiveness of his people, and as such tends to shy away from conflict or large crowds, prefering to hang in the background and observe.

Powers: Momentarily stop time while time is stopped he may set up traps but can not attack until time starts again, also this ability requires alot of energy so while he can use it to avoid attacks eventually he will become drained Weapons: Sword with a clock the hands are retractable and can spin freely around the base (see pic) Bio: Aeon was hired on as a teacher once he filled out the resume and got threw the interview, he's very punctual and expects his students to be the same. Students that earn his favor may find that their breaks are a little longer or that they may not be late for class as often. Personally he's ok with the headmaster being mysterious and follows the rules of the school closely, but will apply his own rules when it comes to his class and handing out any disciplinary actions. Aeon joined the school in hopes of mainly teaching the students more about they're own history than them learning about what is written in story books. Also being with the students Aeon himself can learn about the different races. Personality: Generous and friendly but can be sturn and harsh when he gets upset with some one. They ride on horses along side their severed head and reap the souls of the dead. Powers: able to manipulate shadows, teleport through shadows, remove her head and share senses between her head and her body as though she has two sets of each sensory organ (can see in two places, etc.), the hole in her neck can expell a thick black fog that can obscure vision. Weapons: ones created from shadow, usually a giant scythe. Bio: Kepflos Fee originated from her native land of Ireland. She was born when a young maiden had been beheaed for witchcraft, and her spirit refused to move on until she found her head. She spent many years searching for her severed head, fulfilling her duties as a dullahan by reaping souls as she went in order to gain more power. Finally, after many years of searching she had found her head. Unfortunately the head, who had seen everything her body had done due to them sharing senses, was spiteful towards her body, and refused to move on until they had reformed their ways. The two agreed and combined, fusing their personalities into one entity once more. Then the now whole Kepflos wondered off in search of ways to undo the suffering she had caused. Though this proved challenging because all she really knew how to do was fight and kill, and there were very few ways to do that in a positive manner. Eventually she came across MCA and joined as the combat and mission teacher. She figured that teaching young kids to defend themselves, and using the missions as a means of taking down the evils of the world, she'd be able to redeem herself in her own eyes. Personality: Flos is very much antisocial. She hardly speaks unless directly spoken to, and even then she rarely shows anything akin to kidness in her tone or mannerisms. Though is should be noted that she has several quirks often associated to the irish, such as being able to drink...alot...and highly believing in luck. She also talks with a light irish accent. Race: Mage - It is as it states, a mage is a human capable of casting spells, but mostly those involving the elements.
Powers: Can cast elemental spells, but only if needed (he can't just blow up a room because a student threw something at him). He has some minor spells as well. What he loves to do with his spells is experiment with them, by combining the elements, he can create new spells.
Weapons: none is needed for him if his enemies can't get close.
Bio: Curtis hass always had a strange sense for magic when he was young. Most had already called him a pure genious due to his strange ability to master spells that were too difficult for adults to try. His knowledge has expanded with the spells that he learned, but he felt a bit empty. He did love to help others, but due to his knowledge, he became someone that was easily misunderstood. So instead of having that much human contact, he went off into the world where he can learn new things and become a stronger mage.
It was around ten years of his life while he was on this journey. Ten years of learning and ten years of thinking. He did have all the power that he needed, but he felt that with all of this power, there wasn't that much he could do with it. Curtis then had one of his most life changing decisions. He became a teacher in order to help others and to teach future generations on how to fulfill them selves in life. And, to give them the knowledge that he holds that could probably hold more use to them than him.
Personality: Logical and straight to the point, but his sarcastic nature shouldn't be taken to offense. If you mainly judge him by that then it will be hard to obtain the knowledge he is willing to offer.

When she was to become the next leader of the village she refused and left the duties to her other siblings. Kiyomi has both a human form and Tengu form but not one person has seen that form. By chance Kiyomi found a job working at the school. She wasn't a good teacher in academics but when it came to stealth and survival that was her call. She began working at the school for two years. She takes student's on trips every few months to see what they've been capable of doing and how they can do on their own and when their life is in danger. Kiyomi also acts as a adviser for girls especially when they are in need of advice. She's a serious teacher that will make you put your life on the line. Personality: Harsh, Blunt, Supportive, Stern. Wisps
Mysterious balls of spinning energy that float freely throughout the halls of the school. They act as helpers around the school, assisting students in need, making repairs, and even punishing those who mess around. Their usual state consists of them floating aimlessly around, leading most to believe they are just there for decoration, until they spot a problem in which they quickly spring into action, usually using their astute telekinesis to aid them seeing as they have no bodies. It is unsure how sentient they are, but they are capable of speaking telepathically to people and presumably to themselves as well. When threatened, or when they sense a troublemaker, wisps turn from their calm blue color to dark red, and while not overly strong they can be very dangerous if messed with.

Student Council
The representative governing body of the students at MCA. They hold a fair amount of power when making decisions concerning students, and as such can be seen as another authority like the teachers. The higher ups of the student council are just as shady and mysterious as the principal, and no one even knows who the council president is (not even the vice president) which leads some to suspect that the student council is not really as benevolent as they would want you to think. However the lower ranking members are active in the school and usually good people, which tends to offset this mentality a bit.

Disciplinary Committee
A student group responsible for enforcing the rules of the school and maintaining the peace. They distinguish themselves from other students by their black and red uniforms they wear, and the fact that they can freely carry around weapons through the school without consequence. Considering the nature of a school full of monsters and demons this job is actually much more dangerous and difficult than it would be for a normal high school, and as such usually only students with high combat experience are accepted. Though their are different "squads" of members allowing weaker or more pacifistic students to participate as well. While they are technically under control of the student council they act independently most of the time, though this is mainly because the current head of the Disciplinary Committee doesn't trust the student council.

Infraction Squad: (handle the smaller rule breakers, such as students not adhering to dress codes and carrying banned items, and due to their somewhat overbearing nature they are refereed to as the "nitpick squad" by other students. They are allowed to confiscate items or give out detentions, but usually do not do anything requiring physical violence like the other squads, Available)

Dorms
The dorms of the school are all coed, seeing that many students have abilities that would allow them to work around having separate dorms if they really wanted to. All students should report to the office upon arrival to receive their dorm room number and key. Students are allowed to decorate their dorms as much as they'd like.
Rooms-
A section (normal students): Located in the dorm wing of the school these dorms are for normal students are rather basic. They come with two beds each and space enough for desks and other possessions. There are no extra rooms in these dorms and each floor has a large communal bathroom for each gender that must be shared by everyone, aswell as a large kitchen area that must likewise be shared by all students on that floor.

B section (Student Council): The dorms set aside for the members of student council. Easily the most luxurious of the three dorm sections, so much so that they aren't even apart of the dorm wing, the Student Council has its own separate building all together. The rooms are comparable to very nice hotels or even penthouses. Each room not only has large beds and an incredible amount of space, but also a full sized kitchen, luxury bathroom, living room section, and a free tv built into the room. These rooms aren't funded by the school itself, and it is widely believed that the Student Council president is responsible for how luxurious they are. Beware: people will be jealous.

Even her baby sister was born a wonderful genius. There was something definitely wrong with her, Tess could sense that much, but she was the only one who thought so. She was morbid, dark, and always hungering for things she shouldn't. Even though she'd never been wronged by the world like Tess had she seemed to possess this palpable animosity. Even Tess's rage couldn't match up to half of this awful mystery. All of Tess's enmity was hence forth funneled onto little Milie. She despised the girl with growing vigour, but even her hatred was vastly lacking to that venom in Millie's eyes. Then, one day, Millie let her secret slip. "Do you want to know why you'll never be as bad as I am? It's because I have died. I have died countless times, and those deaths possess details that would make your spine chill." Then she'd grinned spitefully at the older sister. "You can't possibly hope to garner that much malice into your soul." Tess laughed it off like a joke, but the nerve Millie had erupted in Tess. Millie would always be everything Tess wanted to be. The only thing Tess had left to strive for was her death. Personality: Tess is a hateful, cruel, and manipulative girl. She's always dreamed of being on top of the heap, but the world unfairly sntched it out of her grasp every time she reached. She despises Millie, because she's so perfect, even when corrupted by that undaunted hatred of the world. What makes Tess scary is that she knows how to be subtle in her moves and determination. Bio: Hidey comes from a clan of witches. Though witches usually dresses gloomy Hidey dressed in a nice pink one piece and of course caused her to gain attention from other witches. Usually they were no match for her clan, yet something was off. The demons looked as if they had gone through a strange metamorphosis and they easily slaughtered her fellow witches. In horror, Hidey hid from the demons until morning. When she came from her hiding place she saw the grotesque corpses of what use to be her friends and families. NPC's (Characters I need for plot purposes, but don't want to go through the trouble of making a full profile for) Akira Foom Chief of the Disciplinary Committee  Chief of the Disciplinary Committee Akira is a well known, and well respected member of the student body. He is a sword spirit, an abandoned sword that gained a body of its own so it could seek out its weilder again. Since coming to the school he's put that goal aside so he could help maintain order. Though he runs the Disciplinary Committee compitently enough, he's been pulling back his involvement since it his last year, opting to give more control to Noir so she'll be ready to run the Committee by herself next year. He mostly plays the silent type and doesn't talk much, but he's a got a mind as keen as his sword and a good sense of justice to match. Many know not to even think of causing trouble when he comes down the hall.

Student Council President  The mysterious head of MCA's student council. No one, not even the highest seated members of the council, even know who he is. Not his name, not what he looks like, not even how he managed to get elected in the first place. However despite this things seem to run smoothly enough with him in charge, which is good enough to for most students, though some (mainly Akira of the Disciplinary Committee) have their suspicions. He communicates to the rest of the student council through a strange hologram technique, though even then his voice is distorted meaning the only thing anyone has on him is the very general outline given by the hologram, though even that isn't entirely reliable. Uldina Tenmaru reigning queen of the snake demons  Uldina Tenmaru, the current queen of the snake demons and predicted last ruler of the Tenmaru dynasty. Long ago when the great snake king Yamato Orochi was sealed away and seemed to disappear off of the face of the earth the snake demons were left torn. Some choose to stay loyal to their king, and to this day assist him from the shadows trying to help him regain power, while other powerful snakes under his reign lost faith in him and set out on their own. Though the majority of snake demons believed that he had actually been killed in the battle, and as such a small war of attrition began in which one man rose above all else, Yolsung Tenmaru. Since then sovereignty over the snake demons has been passed down through the Tenmaru family for generations, creating a powerful dynasty in itself. Uldina herself was not born a Tenmaru, but married the old king. However several years ago her husband was killed in a conflict between the snake demons and several other races, leaving Uldina in charge. Currently she is the first woman to ever rule the kingdom alone, and has started efforts to bring about stability in their race's relationships with others. She is as powerful as she is beautiful and is not one to be trifled with. Velma "grams" Ivy Office Lady  a small statured and very old swamp imp who works the main office of MCA. Though old she is still wise and is allways prepared with a piece of advice or a witty remark for those who need or warrant them. She has probably the most consistent contact with Lotte due to the fact that he constantly works in the office. Though she to finds his strange way of doing things a bit off putting, she still cares for him do to all the hard work he does.

Also on a side note this rp will be slightly different from YMHS, were instead of jumping straight into huge arcs it will mostly be set up in small missions "side quests" if you will. I allready have several planned, but if you have any ideas for a mission you'd like to suggest then PM it to me. I am allways open to suggestions.

Basili Tenmaru
Snake Princess
MCA, the huge supernatural high school that seemed to be literally carved into the side of a huge mountain out in the middle of no where. There was only one road that lead out from the base, but that "road' quickly stopped at a small circle archway. For those who didn't know the secret it would seem impossible to actually get to the school unless one could fly. However this wasn't necessary at all. As if to demonstrate the large circular archway began to glow with a bright purple light, and suddenly it began to fill with energy revealing it not to be an archway at all, but a massive portal for students to arrive and leave the school from.
Small sparks of lightning could be seen shooting out of the portal as two figures stepped out. The portal faded away behind them, revealing the two silhouettes to be Basili Tenmaru, and her mother Uldina, Queen of the snake demons. Though Uldina would appear different than her usual get up. Gone was the massive black armor and sword, but in their place a simple robe. She wore a gentle, laid back expression, and she had even applied make up to make her skin looked naturally colored instead of its usual pale white. If it weren't for the eyes most wouldn't suspect her to be a snake demon at all, let alone the queen of them. "are you ready my dear?" she asked, looking down at her daughter.
In contrast to her mother Basili was very what one might expect. She wore an elegant red kimono, wore her hair up in regal fashion, and her pearl white skin was fully on display. Though this simply was the nature of what they were trying to achieve. While Uldina was trying to make herself look relatable and friendly to improve their standings with the other races, Basili was supposed to appear as genuine as possible, so as to show a full fledged snake demon would be able to get along with others at such a school. "yes I'm ready...I've prepared myself for this" she said smiling up at her mother, knowing it might be the last time she'd see her for a while. Uldina smiled at her daughter and nodded. "well then let us get you situated then" she said as they both headed off. In truth Uldina felt a little guilty about doing this, giving away her daughter like some sort of peace offering, or collateral so that the snake demons wouldn't act up. In fact many of her naysayers had used those exact same words, but she knew deep down it was for the best. After all if Basili was going to be queen she'd need a more hands on look at what diplomacy was about.
Together the two made their way down the road and passed the huge main gate that gave way to a massive staircase that climbed the entire space of the school grounds. Both of them were eyeing over the students, though for different reasons. Basili was watching out for the students she'd have to learn to get along with over her stay here, trying to figure which ones would be easiest to win over and which would make the best allies. Uldina on the other hand was licking her lips looking over some of the male students. It had been a while since she had last met with one of her concubines and she was playing around with the idea of asking the staff to let her borrow one of the stronger looking men for a while. As they walked through the school grounds people who knew who they were either watched on curiously or cowered away.
