Age: TBA Personality: Aloof and distant, perhaps it is the mystery of Andre that has made him, and his band, so extremely popular. (In reality, Andre is just a small town boy living in the big city. He's amazed by the bright lights and finds the technology behind the music industry absolutely fascinating.) History: "Andre" was born Andreas Martakis, the youngest son in a Greek family of all boys. Plain and unimpressive, he was usually overlooked and more than once accidentally left behind in various places. It wasn't until he was almost 15 that someone finally took notice: a talent agent, who heard Andreas's beautiful voice and decided then and there he would be a star. The only problem was that no one wanted to buy the records of a boring fishing town choir singer, so his production manager reimagined him into Andre. Now he has a multi-dollar record deal and gets noticed everywhere he goes. Which...he still hasn't decided if that's a good thing or not. Andreas as he was before being reinvented. You'll never see him like this, but it's fun to look at the differences.

Drosera the Shiny Wurmple - Completely and utterly enamored with the Wurmple, Verse doesn't quite understand that Drosera doesn't see him as anything other than a Pokemon to tell her how beautiful she is as often as possible. - Osha the Meloetta - Processing ... ... ...

The building was new and solid, and the inside of the walls were cool despite the heat that plagued the rest of the city. The little Burmy smiled to himself as he crawled around, picking apart pieces of insulation and attaching them into his very comfy cozy cloak. Somewhere ahead of him, he could here a steady thump thump thump, and what sounded like a party. Curious, he continued to skooch forward, pressing his head into the wall and listening.
Yes, it was a party. He could hear the music and the laughing people. He rather liked it, honestly, and began bouncing along to the beat with that smile on his beak. The Burmy even began to squeak along with the tune, wiggling his feet as he "danced".
Obviously he didn't see the elbow that was coming his way, but as it bashed through the wall, he felt it collide with his forehead and saw the little music notes spin before his eyes. Hanging onto a beam, the elbow was quickly removed and there was laughter that just sounded like ringing bells.
"Dude! Look what you did!" someone shouted, not angry at all but instead rather drunk.
"Ewww!" a woman squealed. "What is THAT?"
The Burmy blinked at the sudden bright and flashing lights, completely confused by what was going on. There was more shouting and screaming, and suddenly he was being lifted up and away by very gentle hands before finally he just passed out.
When he woke up, there was soft guitar music; much different from the thumping beat and almost-heavy metal nature from before. The Burmy was laying on a soft pillow, covered in a sheet in what looked like it may have been a dressing room? There was a big mirror and a rack of various outfits...yes, it was someone's dressing room.
Sitting in front of the mirror was a man, probably in his early 20's with strange purple hair, plucking away deftly but soothingly on his guitar - the source of the music, obviously. The Burmy murred with interest, and despite the mild soreness coming from his head began to crawl towards the stranger. He moved off the pillow and onto the table, down the legs and across the floor...then up the back of the chair to listen quietly as the music continued.
Soon, the Burmy was lost in the rustic and soothing tune...and began to sing, which completely caught the player off guard and made him jump in his chair. Which in turn disrupted the Burmy, causing him to fall forward over the man's shoulder and into his lap in front of the guitar.
"Burrmee?" the Pokemon said with a cheesy grin, which made the human laugh.
"So you like music, huh?" the man asked, carefully turning the Burmy around so that he wasn't on his back anymore.
The Burmy smiled and nodded, reaching a foot forward and carefully plucking at the strings of the guitar, "Meee," he encouraged, looking up at the human.
Andre, as the Burmy would later learn, chuckled again, "Okay, okay. I'll play some more for you," and began playing the quiet tune. "You're the only one who seems to enjoy these old songs, anyway."
It was the start of a beautiful partnership. Andre, a musical super-star, didn't have any friends who weren't after his money or fame-by-association. The little Burmy had no need for these things - he just enjoyed the music, and Andre's quiet, unassuming nature when he wasn't "in character". They spent every moment from then on together, best friends, and eventually Andre bestowed upon him the name Verse...because it just felt right.

Meeting An Old Friend A RP between Verse, Drosera, and their trainers Bonnie was in the one store she felt like she could spend hours in, it was so interesting to see what was being proclaimed as 'healthy' or 'oragnic' and it amused her reading the list of ingredients as most of the time there was nothing entirely benifitial for what they claimed to be a high energy or good for burning calories. She chattered to her pokemon a wurmple named Drosera, it was a gift from her one true love and she took her everywhere.
"Well Drosera how about we try some edimame? I hear the soy beans are very good for your complextion." Bonnie started and the wurmple who had turned down everything up until this point. The wurmple now turned her attention to the soy product that was suppose to be good for complexion.Things were generally quiet...until the door definitely opened with more force than it needed to and then was shut with the same vigor. Shortly after, there was a loud clamour of a crowd outside, which paused for a moment before moving on with shouts of 'he went this way!' and the like. Meanwhile, footsteps rushed through the taller isles, getting closer and closer to where Bonnie and Drosera were until...
Bump! "Oh! Balls, I'm so sorry!" He was slightly taller than Bonnie, with olive skin and dark blue eyes and deep purpel hair that looked...only somewhat natural. Clinging desperately to his shoulder was a Burmy, looking frazzled and disoriented.
Oh please don't recognize me, Andre thought desperately...before the light bulb went off over his head and the look in his eyes went from panic to realization.
"Bonnie?"The woman had not been prepared to get bumped into, and neither was her wurmple. Clinging to her trainers shoulder she desperately held on, (it was lucky that her feet were sticky) though she had to right herself she cast a glare over to the rude human male that had run into him. Drosera starting chittering to the man as if lecturing him on running into them when her eyes caught sight of the ...burmy clinging to him. Her voice died away...as if she was too stunned to see such a creature...or have one for that matter in her presence.
Bonnie on the other hand had half turned, she wasn't the type who kept up with modern trends or even mordern music. IF you were to ask her who was the current favorite movie star she would just blink at you, so seeing the one in front of her who...gave her an inkling of recognition, she was baffeled when he said her name.
"Y...es?"Andre was both relieved and excited that he'd found a person he'd known. The smile on his lips lit up his whole face and he almost cheered...before remembering where he was and the fact that he didn't want to be found out.
"Bonnie!" he exclaimed quietly, going to hug her. "Oh man, it's been ages! It's me, Andreas!"
Verse finally managed to pull himself up properly onto Andre's shoulder, touching the pink cloak of foam all over him to make sure it was all in place. That was, however, when he realized he was being watched; his bright yellow eyes slowly glancing up to meet with...hers.
There were hearts in his eyes, floating up from all around him when he saw the most beautiful Pokemon in all the world. Such beauty...such an intense gaze. He nearly slid off from Andre's shoulder, so distracted by the sight of perfection before him.Bonnie eye's widened at the man's reaction and then she was all for being happy to meet new people she stiffened slightly when he came in for a hug. It was only when he explained who he was that the light bulb went off and she was able to put a chlidhood face to the man she had known long ago.
"Andreas!" She echoed his enthusiasm once everything clicked together she threw her arms around him quite happily to reseve a hug from her old child hood friend.
"Oh my goodness your hair is purple now!" She exclaimed as if this was the biggest change...
Drosera on the other hand was...astounded. She had never seen burmy's before in her life time, though she had heard of them. Weird bug types that ..gathered random material to make some odd kind of cloak. This one had..some weird pink..foam thing as its cloak and she shuddered a bit wondering what it could possible be.
"What are you gawking at?" She snapped noticing his rather....intense look in her direction. When she returned his enthusiasm, Andre laughed and squeezed her tight, easing away when she mentioned his hair and he blushed a bit, running his fingers through his hair.
"Heh...yeah. All...all part of the gig, yanno?' He brought a hand to his eye, turning his back to her almost as he popped one contact out, revealing the natural dark amber color beneath it when he turned around. "Don't blame you for not knowing it was me."
The poor Burmy was knocked right back into the real world when the Wurmple female snapped at him, but it didn't take the goofy smile off his face. He blushed deeply, so very suddenly bashful. She was talking to him!!!
"N-nothing...just...." god, how dumb would that sound to say her? He couldn't say that! "Hello." Stupidstupidstupid.Bonnie chuckled reaching up to pat her Wurmple who seemed rather...on edge. She tilted her head when Andreas turned around giving a small gasp when he had removed his contact lens and then giving a small clap of her hands as if this was a real marvel.
"There's the eyes I know." Bonnie stated as she gave him a large grin, "Though I am not sure what you mean by...'gig'...you apart of a band now?" Bonnie was not exactly in the loop with what was current.
Drosera blinked her stinging reply seeming to have no effect on the burmy as he seemed bashful all of a sudden. Well..this shouldn't be a surprise after all she was very beautiful he must be in awe by her presence.
"Well...Hello." She replied a bit mightily, but after all she was beauiftul and he seemed to know that right away. Unlike SOME pokemon she knew.Oh Bonnie...if only you knew how much Andre had looked up to you as a boy. Admired you...cared for you. His smile softened at her reaction, and the blush was back when she cooed about 'those being the eyes she remembered'. He quickly and quietly put the contact back when she asked about his band.
"Yeah...I kinda got into the music industry," and like he stepped into a second skin, his eyes drooped and he sagged his shoulders a bit, looking forlorn and sullen - distant, without being completely unreachable. "I am Andre," the young man said in a voice that was husky yet melodious.
The image was ruined as he rolled his eyes, straightening. his back and offering a shy smile. "It sells."
Verse's heart, by the way, was ready to bust out of his chest. He literally swooned when Drosera spoke to him, the little hearts back into his eyes as he leaned forward...forward...
Thump! He fell, toppled right off of Andre's shoulder and landed on the ground, his eyes crossed as shimmering images of the Wurmple spun before him.
"Verse!" Andre said in alarm, leaning down to pick up his poor Pokemon.Bonnie blinked at the sudden transformation the became her long time friend, honestly she didn't think it suited him at all. In fact she nearly took a half step back seeing that rather sullen looking face that seemed to have decided that the world just wasn't worth living anymore.
"Ah...it sells does it?" Bonnie seemed unsure on this, emo sold? It showed just how with it she was in consideration of the music industry. Shaking her head she gave a small laugh, "I think you could 'sell' your regular self...the crowd would love you more.." At least she thought so. She jumped slightly when his pokemon however seemed to take a tumble to the ground.
"Oh! Is it okay?" She inquired nearly instantly.
Drosera watched amused if only a bit by the others reaction to being in her presence. It was only natural she assumed that one would react that way. You would think she would be annoyed at him fainting at the mere sight of her, but having to deal with Hemlock all the time she felt that this was a good ego boost for her.
"Are you alright?" She inquired as it wouldn't be good if her first swooning would have the other pokemon suffer from a head injury."Verse, buddy..." Andre said with a small chuckle, carefully scooping up the dizzy Burmy. "What happened to you?"
Verse's little eyes were all a swirly, and he gave a big, cheesy smile up at Andre. "Burrrmeee," he said, shaking his head back and forth quickly before looking around, thoroughly confused. How'd he get down here?? And where...where was she?
When he looked up as he was brought back to Andre's shoulder, Verse blushed for looking so obviously silly. "Y-yeah...I'm fine." Smooth move, idiot.
Andre looked back and forth between the Burmy and the Wurmple, and grinned knowingly. "Oh...he's fine. Actually, I think he has a crush on your Wurmple, Bonnie."
Verse heard that, and his poor little eye got all wide and he was ready to eat Andre's head. HOW COULD YOU??Drosera and Bonnie's eye's seem to 'bug' out as it were (no pun intended...or was it? ) though it was Bonnie who recovered first. A hand coming to pat her pokemon perhaps a bit too much on the head. Bonnie was perhaps a bit too ...nice to everyone she knew, after all life was too short to be mean to people.
Coughing she gave a smile as if everything was okay, "Aww that is very cute.....but Drosera is promised to another pokemon, the one I gave my fiance."
Bonnie was trying to be...polite about it but honestly it was the fact she was trying to ...subtle hint she was with someone stressing the word Fiance at the end to make a point.
Drosera huffed though looking ruffeled at that being brought up, "I will NOT marry that desgusting little worm." She hissed though to the trainer it was just a very pissed off wurmple saying its name over and over to her. Both Andre and Verse looked crestfallen...Verse more-so than Andre, honestly. After all, it'd been years...and Andre hadn't really thought someone as sweet and gentle as Bonnie would stay single for forever. His mild disappointment turned into a genuine smile.
"That's wonderful for you, Bonnie. Congratulations...he's a very lucky man."
Verse...looked near tears. No...not fair...his life, why? But then Drosera - the name of an angel - started getting very angry about the idea of marrying someone else, and there was that spark of hope again!
"She's...forcing you to marry him?" he asked, so very hesitantly to the Wurmple. "Why would she do that to you?"Feeling the relief swim through her she patted Drosera distractedly thinking the chiding was because they were dallying rather than finding stuff for her to eat. If only she could really hear what she was saying to her.
"So why are you here? escaping from your many adoring fans?" She inquired teasing her friend and seeming more at ease at his acceptance of her engagement.
Drosera looked at Verse sharply before huffing at being ignored by her trainer.
"Y..yes! SHe is and that stupid man she is marrying has the idiotic barbaric brain dead wurmple I am SUPPOSE to marry. But I won't! I refuse! He doesn't appreciate my many talents." She scoffed sounding very offended and not impressed in the least of the others actions from the past."T-that's....horrible," the Burmy said with disbelief in his voice. "How can he not see...." he blinked, and his mouth gapped. Uh...uhuh... "How could she...do that to...you?" he quickly filled in, not wanting to simply gush about my pretty she was...and how special she deserved to be treated.
"You should...marry whoever you want..." Verse said, defending her...while at the same time not trying to sound like he was suggesting anything.
Andre looked back and forth between the two Pokemon as they talked...something telling him this was not just...any old conversation. Drosera he couldn't vouch for, but he'd grown to know Verse very well in their short time together. His little singing partner definitely felt something for the Wurmple...and she had not looked truly happy since Bonnie mentioned her being betrothed.
"Hmmm,' he mused to himself, before looking at Bonnie with a bashful smile due to her question. "Ah...yes, actually. That is exactly what I'm doing...the paparazzi are horrendous."Drosera quite agree'd and honestly she had no interest in marrying anyone, there were far more important things that were on her mind, like keeping herself beautiful was the most important thing going for her at the moment. Looking over at Verse she gave him a look that probably expressed or read as 'not in your life' for counting him as possible replacements for her 'betrothal' but he was a step up from Hemlock...the barbarian .
"Well...at least you recognize unrivaled beauty.." She managed to compliment Verse...and herself at the same time.
Bonnie chuckeled as Andre addmited that she was correct on the subject.
"Fame is a hard thing to accept...you have to take the good with the bad..and that means your crazy fans. " The woman teased him as she half turned gesturing him to follow deeper into the oragnic store. "And here though I thought you were actually a vegan."

Stars are not unusual or out of place in Verse's life. More often than not, he was surrounded by them, regardless of whether you're talking an actual star-shaped object, or the idea of "being a star" through status and popularity. He didn't particularly think the shape of a star was all that interesting, and he definitely didn't find many of Andreas's friends to be all that stellar, either. Really, most of them were boring, snobby, and just wanted to be his trainer's friend for status and fame. Well, except Bonnie, of course. Verse had really liked her, she'd seemed so nice...not a gold-digger, at all.
And...oh, the little Burmy would never in a million years forget Drosera.
As a matter of fact, it was her that he was day-dreaming about on the particular day that Andreas was out. His manager had dragged the pop-star to a clothing fitting, and insisted that the little Pokemon stay at home. After all, Verse was sure to just get lost in a pile somewhere and stepped on...and would that be a shame?
In reality, Andreas's manager detested the Pokemon, but when his star of stars had threatened to walk out and go back to his little village if the Burmy was forced to leave...well, sometimes you have to pick your battles. That one, the manager had decided, was not worth fighting.
Back to Verse - yes, today he was rolling in one of the many pillows provided for him, sighing wistfully as he remembered the smile on the Wurmple's face, the shine of her spikes...how adorable her face looked when she got angry. Verse took great care to not think about exactly why Drosera had been angry, because those thoughts made him sad.
Because with that thought, it meant Drosera would be forever out of his grasp.
Sighing again, Verse realized the thought had already come into his head. Drosera was betrothed, engaged to another Wurmple; who she had said was mean and nasty...and all of these things must of course be true. Which boggled the mind of the little Burmy - who could ever be mean or uncouth to that beautiful face? She deserved someone gentle, sweet, romantic...caring.
She deserved someone like Verse, of course.
While rolling about, he saw something glimmer out of the corner of his eye. Now, again, stars are not anything that would normally get a startled reaction out of Verse. He was desensitized to them, and just didn't think they were all that special. However, this star - for that's what it ended up being, suddenly appearing on top of Andreas's dresser - was perfect. Perfect for Drosera, who deserved perfect things. Verse may not have found the five-pointed shape all that enthralling, but surely the Wurmple would!
Quickly rolling himself onto his belly again, the Burmy set off on his quest - across the room, towards the dresser, up the wooden leg. It was slow going, but he made it, that was for sure.
Nothing ever goes as planned for poor little Verse, though. As he was reaching the top of the dresser, he peered up to look at the star; so sparkly, shining with an inner light that was just...otherworldly. He was trying to wiggle himself over the lip when somehow, he lost his grip.
The moment of panic as the Burmy realized he was falling backwards was nothing to the sheer terror as he saw that the star was coming with him. As if pulled by a magnetic force, the star slid forward across the top of the dresser, and fell with Verse to the floor. Somewhere down the line, it clocked him across the head...
Verse's last conscious thought as a Burmy was that he just hoped Drosera's gift would survive the fall.

Andre rode the elevator up to his suite in tired silence, echoes of the day's events in his head. His manager had reprimanded him again for letting his roots grow in, reminding him that the bandanna was for his image, not for him to try and hide behind. He'd also been repeatedly told about the deal the record had cut with a new clothing designer, which required the pop star to wear at least three articles of clothing from that brand - one of them being something major, like a shirt or pants that clearly displayed the design logo. Which had spurred today's shopping trip; Andre needed to be fitted for all his new clothes, which in the singer's opinion were too flashy and poorly tailored, but that was the style they wanted him to project, so away he'd gone.
Too many men and women had poked him today, making the boy restless and irritable...but his mother had raised him better than to argue with people who were just doing their jobs, so he'd taken every bit of it without complaint. Right now, he just wanted to go lay down in his bed, let Verse snuggle up against his head, and take a nap. Andre did smile, thinking about his Pokemon. Verse was a calming presence in the turmoil of being a singer and star, and though Andre couldn't really understand the Burmy, just the way he spoke made him instantly feel better. Often the boy would sit and play his guitar, singing the songs of his home town, and Verse would sit and listen, and even sometimes sing along in his own way. The Pokemon had been the best thing to happen to him in a long time.
Which is why, as the elevator dinged to his suite-level apartment and the door opened, Andre was a little disheartened to find the pink fuzz-ball not sitting there with a smile to greet him.

First Looks...Again RP between Verse, Drosera, and their trainers Bonnie had set up themselves at two tables, it seemed strange that she would do so but she had felt that perhaps it would be better if the adults had a moment to catch up with each other so she had gotten Drosera to dress in a pretty dress and then place her at a table nearby as Bonnie was pretty sure that Andrea's would be bringing the little pokemon with him as well. At least Drosera would be able to entertain the burmy.
Drosera or Dee as she was often nicknamed sat at her own little table, a small pot sitting there with the tea bag still seeping inside of it. She was irritated at being dragged along and had little interest in entertaining the little burmy she had met before. Still it was better she supposed than being forced to hang out with Hemlock.Andreas slipped inside the coffee shop, Verse quickly shuffling in behind him and pulling the door shut. Both the young man and the Pokemon let off similar sighs, glancing at each other and laughing privately. They'd just managed to dodge a group of fans from completely destroying their afternoon, taking a few pictures and shaking hands before making a quick getaway. Not that Andreas didn't love his fans - they were the best - but he was supposed to be spending the afternoon with Bonnie...and that was definitely more important.
Speaking off... "Bonnie!" Andreas said with a wave in his friend's direction, making his way over to where he saw her sitting.
Behind him, Verse's heart fluttered in his chest and he nervously straightened his hoodie. It was the first time he'd be seeing Drosera since his change...and he just hoped the Wurmple wouldn't be too off-put by his new appearance. After all...he was planning on trying to convince her to find her own star. He had no idea that he was a day late and a dollar short on that quest. The Burmy child fell into step behind the pop star, not even noticing the second table set up behind Bonnie...or the person who sat there.Bonnie stood up as she spotted her old friend and a slight widening of her eyes to indicate the surprise of the dark skinned boy following behind him. She tossed a quick glance at her own little girl and pondered if perhaps...? "Andrea's! Its so good to see you! I see...you brought?" She didn't want to assume...maybe he had a child she wasn't aware of, maybe he was just bringing a small friend with him. Though the pink hair...really did remind her of the burmy that Andrea had with him before. Drosera raised an eyebrow as Bonnie stood up reconizing the man approach although she was not interested in him, her eyes latched onto the dark skinned pink haired boy behind him. Her face blushed slightly and she felt herself unconsciously preening herself a moment before she stopped herself from looking foolish.Andreas's face broke into an even wider smile as she called him by his given name instead of the show name he'd adopted over the years. Then, when she asked, the smile turned into a excited grin as he stepped to the side to present his Pokemon more properly, "Of course I did. You remember Bonnie, don't you Verse?"
Verse offered a genuine but shy smile, nodding his head at the question. "It's nice to see you again, Miss Bonnie," he said, his bright eyes shifting about in a way that betrayed his anxiousness.
"Is your Pokemon not with you today?" Andreas asked, knowing exactly who his poor Pokemon was looking for.Bonnie's eyes latched onto Verse though she tried not to stare too long and make him uncomfortable, she though did bring a hand up to her mouth in a small chuckle. "It seems you have to be prepared for children when you get pokemon these days." It was very strange ...how her and her fiance both got pokemon that turned into children and now they have found another. Gesturing to the young girl at the table next to them it was now Drosera's turn to charm. Standing up daintily she moved her luscious long and purple hair back over her shoulders, in proper fashion she stood up straight and then stepped away from the table. Giving her most dazzling and adorable smile she gave a little curtsy to Andrea before her gaze went to Verse. After all she hadn't been deaf she heard that the boy was the burmy she had come across before. Though how an ugly little pokemon like that turn into a quite handsome little boy was beyond her. "Good to meet you both again." Came her proper little voice.Verse's mouth dropped open in a quiet gasp when Bonnie moved back to reveal Drosera - prettier than he ever could have imagined. Though he did feel some...disappointment, that he wouldn't be able to help her find a star and watch her transform, seeing her now made all of that irrelevant. Blood pounding in his ears, he swallowed hard and nearly ducked behind Andreas again, only to receive a gentle hip check.
"Verse," Andreas whispered, teasingly warning the boy to not forget his manners.
Swallowing hard, Verse tried to catch his breath and only managed to croak out "H-hello...Drosera." Had it ever been mentioned how musical her name was to him? He'd write a song about her some day... "Here..." Verse said suddenly, rushing over to pull Dee's chair out, holding it for her. His hands shook, and he just seemed so...hopeful and ernest, smiling so gently.
Andreas chuckled, watching his Pokemon before turning his attention back to Bonnie, joining her at their separate table.Drosera gave the boy a look, one that was borderline scrutiny as she was addressed though at least he had some manners going to pull her chair out so she may sit down. Giving another little curtsy to her ..trainers friend she went to take the offered seat , sitting up prim and proper as she then waited for her napkin to be placed in her lap. My she was a bit of a diva wasn't she?
Bonnie gave a small chuckle as she then went to sit in her own chair at their own table, she had made sure to order some drinks for them all. Venturing on ice tea for the kids and regular tea for themselves.
"Come and sit with me Andrea's perhaps you can tell me about...Verse." Of course this would be adult talk and Drosera had little interest in what adults were going to discuss. So instead she fixed her purple eyes on the boy and cleared her throat slowly as if to indicate that she was tired of waiting.Andreas only chuckled as he watched their Pokemon, settling himself at the table with a nod of thanks to the waiter who brought their drinks. Glancing over Bonnie, he smiled some to himself...trying in ernest to not be nosy about what was going on with the kids. However, if she wouldn't be against eavesdropping, neither would he.
"He says he found a star...and when he woke up from a nap, he was like that," he commented with a nod of his head towards Verse.
The Pokemon, meanwhile, was doing his best to cater to Drosera's every whim. At first, yes, he was confused about what she was waiting for...and upon realizing what she wanted, he was quick to grab her napkin and gently lay it out over her dress. Once that was taken care of, he settled himself into his own seat. Should he serve the tea? That was usually something the hostess did, wasn't it?
Not that she was the host...but they had invited him and Andreas out, did that count as being the hostess?
