While searching for something totally unrelated to Sailor Moon, but pertaining the word SAILOR... this was a question that was "featured." How many sailors are in Sailor Moon?
The answer provided was: It is implied that there is a guardian for every single major celestial body in the universe. The number of Senshi is the same as this number, which is unknown by any human.
But in the show, they have the 10 main, and 4 more shown in the last season. In the manga, they have all of that, plus 4 for the sailor comets, sailor cosmos, and they reference a good handful of other planets sailors. They have even more in the musicals, but I don't know how many they added.

Given that as guideline, what are the names of other "fictional" Sailors?

Every person you talk to is probably going to have a different answer for you. Especially someone like me who considers SM to take place in an alternate universe... and then if you think about Sailor Luna too much... Endless would probably be the best answer imo.
For the record Sailor Astarte was the only Senshi that was added to the musicals. Unless you count phages, which adds even moar...

Although I do see your point, I also think that you are thinking you are into it.
In a sense I would say Zodiac Sailor would be the most obvious. Such as Sailor Taurus or Sailor Libra.
But maybe I am not phrasing it right, which would be typical of me.

Depends on what Celestial body they came from really. that always seems to be a part of the naming conventions.

From what I've sceen (Only becuse I don't like doing things other people have done arleady) There is a senshi for almost every cosmic happening out there....and the elemments, genstones, some holidays, and many more. There are over 2000 dwarf planets out side the solar system and almost every single one that has an actual name has a sensh for it, fan made or other wise.

I have a very simple answer for you: ``Don't think about it too much or your head will explode from trying to think about that.``

∞. The answer is ∞. The manga hinted at Sailors for like everything. And there's also Sailor Tamasaboro.

Invincible Youth ∞. The answer is ∞. The manga hinted at Sailors for like everything. And there's also Sailor Tamasaboro. This answer is the most accurate sounding. There really are an infinite number of Senshi out in the universe.

By the way, how many knights are there in the universe? Is there an infinite amount of them as well? Do you think there is there a knight for every senshi in the universe?

[GS] Prince Endymion By the way, how many knights are there in the universe? Is there an infinite amount of them as well? Do you think there is there a knight for every senshi in the universe? Good point. I would say for every planet or asteroid there would be, but not for stars and comets. That's just my opinion.
