 Ruby has laid her first clutch of eggs! Needless to say, her owner was quite a bit surprised one day when he found the small crimson curled protectively around the large and rather colorful clutch. S'ren's certainly been doing his best to help her take care of them, but their numbers have presented him with a small dilemma: there is no way that he could have time to take care of six tiny new mouths. Even simple one was going to be quite a bit of work, and so he gave away two of the remaining five to new homes. But to whom could he give the final three?

This will be a fairly typical dice-roll style game, but with a bit twist. Rules:• Any character can enter, so long as they are from Trine Weyr.
• Before the official start of the game, entrants will be given time to fill out the forms at the bottom of this post........- After the dice-rolling has begun new people may still enter the game, but they must make a post with the entry form first........- If dice are rolled without having first made a post with the entry form, any matched numbers will not count towards winning an egg.• Tomorrow (June 14th) around 3:30 EST I will make a post rolling 6 d20's........- Each entrant will then roll 2 d20's per post........- The first person to match 4 of the six rolled numbers will get first pick of an egg........- After one egg has been won, the second person must match 5 of the 6 numbers to claim an egg........- To win the final egg, 6 of the 6 numbers must be matched.• Have fun~Entry Form: [b]How does your character know S'ren/How did they meet him?[b]

How does your character know S'ren/How did they meet him?
Ailin, being a Candidate, and a quiet one at that wouldn't normally have the chance to meet a full fledged rider during his day to day activities at the Weyr. It was Tereth's fondness of music that brought the two introverts together. Ailin always makes time to practice his flute no matter what other duties he has that day. The Weyr thankfully is accommodating to craft apprentices and the local Journeyman perfectly willing to continue his education.
Their initial conversation may not have been long or outwardly informative but they would have come out with an understanding of each other's nature, both being similar in temperament. Ailin would enjoy playing for S'ren and Tereth as long as they enjoyed listening.

S'ren might have seen through Ailin's passivity and recognized the little kernel of disappointment he harbored over the previous Hatching, having been looked over by so many of the dragonets only to be ultimately ignored each time. When S'ren found himself with an unexpected clutch of eggs he granted a spare one to the young harper that brought him and his lifemate so much pleasure.

How does your character know S'ren/How did they meet him?
S'ren isn't the only private person in the Weyr. While certainly a good deal more extroverted then the older rider Trine's current two favorite topics of rumor Hekate and Silver Devith also have rather secretive sides. Namely that the woman in question is having to learn rapidly how to be a dragonrider and fast. With all the Weyr's eyes on the pair vain Devith hardly wants to be seen practicing and struggling along side his rider. After all he is a King and demands the utmost perfection from Hekate and himself. Especially with many weyrfolk cheering for the drudge turned rider to fail and mistaking the young silvers vanity for incompetence in the face of duty.
It's likely one early morning in seeking solitude himself S'ren and Tereth stumble upon the young pair's secret practice grounds.

Hekate will likely at first be wary of S'ren, but grow to rapidly like the polite brownrider for his kind words and gentler opinions. Hekate might even open up a little to S'ren when asked why it's so important that her and Devith do well and confide in him her secret wish to be the hero she wants to be and not the outsider the Weyr views her as. Devith like his rider will likely adore Tereth and S'ren, the two's polite attitudes and natural respect causing the vain silver to preen since in Devith's eyes He and His have hardly been given the admiration they deserve. Perhaps even Tereth and S'ren's sharp eyes might catch the fact that though Devith claims flits are a nuisance he seems all too pleased with the firelizards awe filled respect of him. In fact he even seems to try and encourage the creatures to flock to him though he'd never openly admit to enjoying their praise. If anything this vain young silver seems to be striving to build up a little army of flits all his own from which he can rule over them as a proper King.
After all he's got to start somewhere right? Perhaps S'ren would give Hekate a firelizard egg as a present of encouragement or maybe Tereth and S'ren are simply amused by Devith's flit army raising antics and wish to encourage the silver.

Tereth has likely flown Toulonth at least once. While F'ren might have had 'fun' .. he knows S'ren isn't the same way and likey after the first time, makes a quick dash to save the man embarassment after the fact. Though they're not in the same Wing, Toulonth likes Polite dragons and most likely speaks often to Tereth.

F'ren has raised not one but TWO Atypical flits, somehow the 'regular' colors evade him. While he's not the biggest fan of the creatures he does love his little pests. Between Silver Zevra and Crimson Ashka F'ren had a lot of work to do when they were hatchlings so he knows just what goes into keeping the 'weaker' colors alive. Perhaps S'ren knows how dedicated F'ren is to his flits as well as his dragon and the fact F'ren is often off on his own, especially after a Threadfall... maybe having a new flit to look after is just the distraction the sensitive rider needs to boost his spirits. This however WOULD be the last flit F'ren owns. He's got limits XD

J'nes has a knack for taking care of children, and often ends up playing babysitter. Most often it's sort of accidental as the kids wander over to his weyr and he watches them there until someone comes to collect them. But sometimes he's consciously given charge of a small flock of children to watch over, whether it's to lead them in chores or simply to keep them out of other people's hair. Since S'ren is also good with children, it's entirely possible that at least once they've ended up on childcare duty together.

When watching children together, S'ren noticed how well J'nes is able to manage the little ones; how he's kind, caring, patient, and able to easily manage the numerous little emergencies that always crop up around small children. He also has one atypical flit already, Crimson Wynne, so he's certainly capable of raising an atypical and understands what's required with one.

Syn loves to listen to melodies, harp music especially. She would have likely met S'ren while he and Tereth were listening as well. Being the nice guy that S'ren is, Syn would have likely been drawn to him and would, at the very least, have said hello. (i'd definitely be up for some rp between the two later if you are available.)

(answer here) I would like to think that perhaps S'ren and Syn could become friends, even if they perhaps never say a whole lot to each other. With Syn's past experience in beast craft and her gentle nature she would certainly make a good candidate for receiving an egg. After she warmed up to S'ren she would likely have mentioned at least one of the animals that she had taken in and cared for when she was younger. She's always had an open heart and a bit of a mothering nature.
