Time sure went by fast when students were having fun. It was already morning, the pumpkin sun was already rising over the horizon and-
- Everything was still a disaster as they had left it. Now, not only did the graduates have to clean up yesterday's mess that they forgot to clean up (the slime tank was still overflowing and honestly, the entire place was pretty much run amok with slime 'n snails), they also had to get everything set up for today's festival event.
Today's event, a repeat of yesterday's hopefully this time with better results for many that did not involve booths getting burnt down or displays flying pretty much everywhere. Already a little bit of bad publicity had spread regarding the fiasco last night: it was important to the graduating class that they did not mess this up.
But it was clear from the events of the cavern they had discovered that many student's Fear cores were just really not into it: several students had actually wandered off to who knows where, while the others seemed just as distracted, continuously looking at their Skellyphones or simply staring at each other with paranoid glances.
And to think this was only the set up. OOC: FESTIVAL DAY 2 - If your character has LEFT your club/group/faction's meeting, they are now HERE - Your character can also ATTEND your club/ group /faction's meeting after their setup contribution by EXITing this thread. Basically you can juggle your faction's thread with this thread by ENTERING and EXITING either your faction's meeting AND this setup thread as you please. Please do not attend a faction thread that your character is not signed up with: some factions do not get meetings sad - DETH'S meeting is HERE- DEFENDER's meeting is HERE- SCREAM's meeting is held purely by discussion texts, that means your character will ICly be cleaning up and juggling texts at the same time. For now, the forums are quiet... ( HERE ) OOC: FESTIVAL SETTING UP SETTING UP:- The whole place is a DISASTER! The only way to set up is to of course split forces. First for your LOCATION dice. This is the LOCATION your character ends up cleaning/ being assigned to by a cleaning gnome. - Once you are in that area, roll your CLEANING dice. This is the amount of CLEANING you do to that location. Each area needs exactly 20 cleaning points to be CLEARED before your character and any other characters in that LOCATION can move on. Please post at the TOP OF EVERY POST your location, and at the bottom of your post the total tally of cleaning points done to that area so everyone knows! - The festival cannot start until everything is done setting up/cleaning / all areas are cleaned! gaia_crown STEP ONE ROLL A LOCATION DICE: (roll a 100-sided dice) 1 - 20: You are stuck cleaning the stupid slime tank, good luck! Hundreds if not thousands of slime 'n snails litter across the path. Hopefully you don't drown in them... 21 - 50: You are cleaning the main gates an area piled with burnt tables, what look like stray signs floating everywhere, it is pretty much a walking hazard. Better do what you can to remove all this stuf... 51 - 70: You are clearing the ticket tents. This is thankfully the cleanest part of the entire area, it just needs some simple scrubbing down and recarving of 100 percent genuinely fake pumpkins really. Thankfully the tents are still all in once piece. 71 - 100: You are cleaning the back lot, where all the junk is stored. And by junk it means ALL THE JUNK. Lucky you sad gaia_crown STEP TWO CLEANING UP A LOCATION: Roll a 6-sided dice. (This area needs a cumulative 20 points to be clean!) 1: You suck at cleaning up and make almost as much of a mess as you do cleaning up. + 1 clean up points 2: You have an okay time cleaning up, but you've never used a pants-eating broom before... +2 clean up points 3: The evil vacuum cleaner and you get into a fight but YOU WIN. Barely. +3 clean up points 4. You decide to work some soap into everything, which is doing wonders for you, except for your sudden skin rash. +4 clean up points 5. You hurriedly stuff everything you see into the closest minipets closet nearby. Crisis averted! + 5 clean up points 6. You bribe some nearby gnomes with silver pumpkin seeds to help you clean up. PHEW. + 6 clean up points.

So it was with a great deal of effort that he managed to drag himself out of bed, taking twice as re-braid the raven black hair away from his face and put on his clothing, smoothing it down absently over his stomach. Jinhai made his way quietly down to the same place as he had been before -
- ...and it still looked like it had been before. There were flyers and papers strewn across the ground, slime streaked across the walls in a very unpleasant manner, mashed food trodden underfoot...
...gross, though Jinhai, as he scuffed the toe of one black slippered foot against the dirty floor of the grounds as he made his way towards the back lot. He wasn't certain how he had managed to get stuck with this sort of duty in the first place, but it seemed as though he had no choice.

It had pained Sin to leave his dorm and his mountain of delightful treasure to return to the party,but somehow he had. He'd only brought oh, five or six items with him he just couldn't bear to leave behind. On arrival though he looked dismal as it seemed they were on cleanup duty rather than anything more exciting and glamorous. Fantastic.
He wandered to the main gates where they had been sent, getting to work in an attempt to clear up one of the burnt tables without even touching it too much.

He'd spent the night sending little cards to all his 'victims' with roses and chocolates attached with the simple messages of 'Thanks for the memories ; D' Sure, part of it was teasing and all that, but it was also the end. Soon enough school would be over and he'd not have much left. Friends would split apart and he'd not see them everyday. No more teasing dragons. No flirting with boils and ghouls alike. He'd have to be a mature adult. Boring. Still he made his way to the back lot. Jack they might be exceptional students but they sucked at cleaning. "Oh you have GOT to be jacking kidding me." Kato growled low, glaring around at the surrounding area that greeted him. He had woken up only a few ago, a text from a certain someone waking him. The adventures of the previous day took a lot of energy out of him. Not only was he almost practically alone, the mess was so much WORSE now. He was one of the first to show... and boy, was it a hell of a mess. ...And after talking to some rather RUDE little people... he found out he was assigned to the back lot, of all places. Really? Though once he was back there.... all that could be heard ringing off the piles of junk? A HUGE a** SIGH. "WHYYYYY did... i mean.. OF ALL THE ROTTEN LUCK." He glared icicles at Dis, why of all the... why was HE HERE. THERE WAS OTHER SPACES TO CLEAN! "...Hi Jinhai." He managed to squeeze out, before he quickly ran to hide somewhere and clean and hopefully... maybe... Dis wouldnt spot him? Fat chance, he was way too loud already. Once again he sighed... and heard Dis make a noise, but the noise was moving away from him.. so it was all good yes?
he managed to clean a LITTLE but... the broom he was using also tried to bite him all the time. Even succeeded once.

There was an audible clank coming from the Back Lot. That was odd, weren't the gnomes supposed to be cleaning the front gates? Practically noone went back here because it was so empty and cluttered...OOC - ANY STUDENT who is in the area, including ones NOT IN THE BACK LOT can go investigate the sound

"Kato," said Jinhai, mildly relieved that although he was stuck cleaning the back lot, that he at least had someone he knew helping him out. "Good morning. Did you sle - "
Make that two someones, apparently, since there was suddenly an arm around his shoulders. Jinhai glanced down at the hand briefly, then tilted his head towards Dis almost lazily.
"No thanks," he said dryly, and neatly slipped out from beneath the vampire's arm, stepping back towards his friend. "I have other - "
He was never going to finish a sentence properly, was he?
There was a loud clank. Brows furrowing together, Jinhai put a hand on Kato's shoulder, peering around the other boil in the direction the sound had come from.
"What was that?"

Nursing his new broom bite wound (which by all means he would say was from a vicious fire rat if someone asked), he was getting ready to move on to a new section when he heard a noise. Oddly it sounded like... some sort of thudding clank? It sounded sort of metalic to him, but then again Kato was known to have been hearing strange things before. What made him not doubt that it was real though was how LOUD it was. It was loud enough that all of Amity might have even heard it. It was enough to fish him closer to the other pair. Hatred of Dis or not...there was safety in numbers, yes? Yeah Kato was a chicken at times. "I...dont know. Should we go check it out or?"

Jack so cold Jinhai. "Aw, did the kiss mean so little to you?" A finger went to the back on Jinhai's arm, mimicking what he'd done a few days ago. Licking his lips he eyed both Jinhai and Kato, "Come now, we only have so long together left should we not make the most of it?" The sound barely registered. "That was the sound of my heart, breaking at the thought of your rejection." He picked up some suds and blew them at the pair. 'Cleaning'

Sin very deftly took most of the junk and did what he did entirely best. Made it someone else's problem. Most of the crap he found he could cram into a closet, shoving it out of the way. Wait these were the places where minis went to....
He didn't think too hard about it really. Just kicked it closed.
He did pause however at the sounds over from the back lot. What the jack was going on over there?

Slime tank
The Hellspawn was more or less not thrilled with the aspect of cleaning. He'd cleaned up his stall. So now what? He just... had to clean other people's messes? Jack this sucked. He'd slept rather well and was not very worried about the new day. Whatever they found was... best left alone. Granted, he was curious but hey, he'd just ask someone later.
When the new day showed that he'd need to clean? Ahahaha ********. He did not want this. Jack why. He'd begun to clean only to hear a rather.. unnatural sound. Huffing he guessed it was some stupid gnomes. He had some silver seeds... he'd check it out, see if he couldn't bribe em to do his work for him or something.
(Moving to check noise!)
