Sexual Preference: Homosexual, it's kept secret from his father though. He has a good friend that helps him in his deception, often playing the part of his girlfriend when it comes to family gatherings.

Craft/Hall/Rank: Apprentice Jewelry Smith, training under his father's watchful eye. It would appear as though he has steady hands and the patience for the intricate work making him the perfect one out of his many siblings to take over when his father retires.

Personality: Tadej seems to be the sort that tries too hard to impress his father, matter what that might entail, and plays the part of the perfect son even though he feels he is far from it. The harder he tries though the deeper he seems to dig the hole that he's currently trying to bury himself in. He keeps many secrets from his family, not wanting to hassle or disappoint them by revealing his true self, and ending up relying a lot on his friend in keeping him afloat. Help that he learned is soon going to dry up because Ameleia, his best friend and play acting girl friend, is heading to the Weyr as a candidate to impress. He knows full well that once she is gone he is going to have to fight his battles on his own and it isn't something that he looks forward to.

As an older brother he seems to be quite protective of his siblings and this is something that carried over into him being protective of all of those younger and smaller then him, seemingly wanting to keep them safe from all that which might threaten them. He's gotten in more then one scuffle when it comes to dealing with bullies that just won't leave off the smaller and weaker kids, something that has always bothered him. He isn't without his bullies himself though, constantly having to deal with those that taunt him for many things, claiming he is a 'Daddy's boy' a 'spoiled brat' and various other things. The spoiled part seeming to have been compounded by the fact that he has a bronze fire lizard of his own which makes those without them act as though he is somehow more privileged then they are. The little bronze though was more a stroke of luck then anything on the part of Ameleia and himself as they stumbled across a hatching and instead of just getting to watch they were allowed to participate leaving the pair with two bronze brothers, something that bonded the pair that much closer to each other though their relationship remains still that of best friends harboring a secret.

History: Tadej is one of many kids born to a rather well to do jewelry smith and his wife, a member of the healer craft. He was taught since he was quite young about not only his father's craft but also that of his mother before he was picked to follow along after his father. It left him with a basic knowledge of first aid but it is something that he rarely uses since there are many others around him that are a lot better at it then he is among his family since a few of his siblings are working close with is mother to become healers themselves. He is a little gladdened by it since the idea of having the lives of others in his hands was a little to the young man.

He picked his friend up as a tag a long to his family as a whole and they grew up close to one another, best friends in fact, and everyone quickly assumed that they might end up more. They did, in a way, due to Ameleia asking him out. While she is much different then the one that he is actually interested in he took her up on the offer to appease his father, not wanting for the man to learn the truth about him. It is the one part of his life he tries best to control and to hide, doing his best to keep from allowing his eyes to wander to those that he is really interested in.

Talents: Steady hands making him good at making rather intricate jewelry, he is also quite creative which helps him make new and interesting designs to sell at his father's shop, as well as being a fairly good actor who is able to hide his real self behind a carefully crafted facade that he's been working at for some years.

Notes: Looking to impress a Green or Blue, preferably a Blue, though he won't be on the sands himself due to his father having chosen him as heir to his business. Instead he would just be going there to watch the impressions and cheer on his friend who is a legitimate candidate. The hatchling coming to him would be something that would be a shock to all due to both him being in the crowd and due to the dragon sort of outing him. Oops.

Tadej has a bronze fire lizard which is from the same clutch as Ameleia's bronze. Ameleia is also the one that he is accompanying to the sands to see if she is able to impress a dragon of her own.

Tadej's Playacting Girlfriend

Name: Ameleia

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Sexual Preference: Straight, currently in a 'relationship' with a gay friend of hers, playing the part of his girlfriend during social gatherings and family events.

Craft/Hall/Rank: Was set to enter the harper hall before being chosen as a Candidate to impress a dragon, it doesn't stop her from practicing her singing still though despite the possible change in careers.

Personality: A sweet, understanding girl she seems to be quite protective of her friend Tadej, to the point that she will jump into a fight despite the fact that she is a girl and a bit of a petite one at that. She is the only one of their hold that knows his secret and she does her best to protect that, and him, from anyone else finding out. More recently, since being chosen as a candidate she hasn't had as much time to look after him but she did make sure to urge him to come and watch, as well as cheer her on, as the dragons hatch. She is worried as to what is going to happen to her friend if she is to impress but at the same time she can't pass up the opportunity, not that Tadej would allow her to do so even if she suggested the idea.

History: Ame has been tagging along after Tadej ever since they were little. She is an only child whereas he is from a large family with many children. It was only normal for her to follow along after them, share meals with them, play with them, and the like. It was as they got older that she started to understand her friend better and made herself his self appointed guardian of sorts. She was the one that asked him out, knowing his preferences but also knowing about his issues with his father. She seems to want to look after him. She worries a little what might happen if she is to impress, not wanting to leave her friend behind.

Talents: She has a pretty alto voice, often heard singing to herself as she goes about her chores and daily life.

Notes: Amelia has a bronze fire lizard which is brother to the one that Tadej has.

The Elegant, Green: Gaspeite

Grace takes physical form in this green. Slender and elegant, nobody could ever argue the fluid way that she moves, drawing all eyes to her beautiful form. This green will happily seduce anyone, whether near rising or not. Whether they are firelizard or human she will seek to turn their head and woo them. Don’t they see how pretty she is, do come and sit with her and admire how truly lovely she is. There couldn’t possibly be anything they would rather be doing. This green is awfully vain, craving complements and never allowing herself to look anything but magnificent. Everything will be put aside so that she may preen and examine her own appearance. Once anyone has been ensnared by this green’s looks she will not share them. They are hers now. Only she may have them.

The Simple Blue: Corundum

This blue can be read like a book, what you see is what you are going to get with this blue. There is no hidden agenda, no secret plan, there is just him; exactly as he is. Straight-forward there’s no real need to pad around the subject as far as he is concerned, better to get it over quickly. This blue is an easy-going and social firelizard, enjoying relaxed afternoons with friends sunning themselves in a nice spot, as much as energetic afternoons playing games. This blue’s laidback attitude is welcome by some and seen as simply frustrating by others. The blue seems to have no sense of occasion and can be terribly lazy, if he doesn’t feel like getting up and moving around he simply isn’t going to. However if he does feel like getting up to play, you can bet that he will.

Tadej's Room

It is by pure luck, and the fact that he is the oldest still living at home, that Tadej has his own room given he has plenty of younger siblings that he could very well have ended up stuck rooming with. Mostly due to his own ingenuity as well as going about cleaning a small attic and making it into his room. It's small, not even enough room to stand up in, but it has a comfortable cot in it, a few shelves to hold his things, and a window that allows him go out onto the room where he spends his time relaxing, or when he needs to, where he is seen thinking out any problems that might arise from the double life he leads.

New Beginings: Tadej is on an errand for his father, delivering some jewelry made at their small shop when Einion suddenly darts off! Tadej follows behind quickly only to find himself bearing witness to a firelizard hatching. Not only is he able to watch the proceedings but finds himself with two new babies of his own to take care of, a somewhat prissy green and a playful, dog like blue. He doubts his father will be too pleased...

Turnover Gather: Tadej heads out to the a gather with his father to sell jewelry to the gather goers. He headed away from their stall to gather information on the other booths and what they might have been selling when he got himself distracted with new friends, firelizards, and various other things.
