IMPORTANT NOTE!: This thread IS NOT for planning how your individual characters can enter an ongoing RP. This thread IS NOT for applying to enter MY ongoing RP. Please DO NOT post in this thread unless you are suggesting plot lines for Starting Out Newbie and the characters involved in that story. I'm going to consider any misconceptions that have been made thus far about this thread's purpose my fault as it was not specifically stated from the start. I just thought it was incredibly obvious. Asking to be a part of Starting Out Newbie in this thread is an almost certain way for me to tell you no flat out.
We ARE NOT looking for any new characters for this RP unless they are bad guys. Even then we will be selective about who joins this thread. Otherwise we're dealing with a "too many cooks in the kitchen" scenario. It's very difficult to cook in a small space when ten people are crowding you all at once.Because Team Celestia's not the only one who's speshul. ;D Seriously though this thread was made so that anyone, even those who aren't involved, can suggest loose plots for the group and individuals in the group to achieve and work toward. There's no limit on how many chapters we need to do for this story though I do see this arc ending either at Belle's third or fourth gym battle. This does not work and instead Des winds up nearly dead with much "I told you so-ing" from Dante. Personal growth and respecting the sanctity of the only true sanctuary anyone has is made/done. Des receives a pair of psychically blessed gloves from his co-worker in crime Regina to help with blocking psychic assaults on his mind. It's entirely possible that Des knows and remembers who his attacker is. • Belle finds out on a trip to Iclea that her father was brutally murdered by a Team Celestia member several weeks prior to her arrival because he refused to give up a specific kind of technology that would help the organization in their quest. Her family was unable to inform her of what happened because she ran away from home and left no way for them to contact her. This puts a stop to her traveling for several weeks before she resumes her travels with a pendant from her late father now accompanying her. Perhaps unknown to her the pendant activates whatever equipment Team Celestia was after and (possibly because they're watching the Rutherford estate) the group quickly realizes that they need to get this item. • • • Notes If you would like an event to be placed here develop it and post it below and see what others think. He's got a job other than being a gym leader: He has to make sure a psychic cat with no respect for anyone doesn't go rogue. And I had an idea. Mewtwo IS going to wind up being considered a "rogue" Pokemon. He's going to wind up getting tranquilized (I'll explain more on that later) and some kind of special anti-psychic arm guards are stuck on him. He's then sent to like a rehab center via Dante's request.

Because the world currently knows him as a Ranger and Rangers are government officials, the government gets in touch with him. He tells them about what happened and stretches the story a little and that sends the government after the 'rogue' Mewtwo.

To shorten my post above and tack it onto this plot point: Government mooks manage to tranquilize Mewtwo using hundreds of small darts with just enough sedative in each hypodermic that he cannot overdose or think to get every needle out of his body before he collapses. He wakes up in some government facility with anti-psychic arm band things stopping him from using his powers. The arm bands emulate the move Disable and the aura of Dark types. Normally these things are used on psychic humans that need to be confined in jail cells but the mooks are making due with what they have. An argument occurs on whether he should be put down or rehabilitated. Dante - witness to the attack - tagged along with the mooks to make sure they are who they say they are. He argued in fancy-speak (we don't need to show this argument just say that it happened) in Mewtwo's defense and somehow managed to get the kitty into some kind of rehab program for abused Pokemon or something. They have programs like that IRL so why not on Poke-earth eh? The end result is a mostly rehabilitated Mewtwo.

Yay! XDDD VincentValintine LimitBrk Is there actually going to be a manhunt for Mewtwo or is it just going to be said that there is? I'm thinking since Des is FAR from stupid he'll say who Mewtwo's been seen with. From there all the government goons have to do is pressure someone from the league (NPC Random Person) to tell Dante to go to this building in this city. Mewtwo will of course follow and be hiding somewhere, snipers are already in place with tranquilizers, and from there all they have to do is hop on a flying type or send over something that knows sing to make doubly sure he's incapacitated. From there they stick the cuffs on him and take him off some place. Someone (Belle?) will see what's going on and inform Dante what's going on. Tsuki the Lunar Wind To emulate a dark type I suggest Dark Gems, those type enhancing items, be placed in the arm bands. Instead of powering dark type moves, the arm band could convert the gems power into radiating dark type energy so it'd be like Mewtwo in a room full of Umbreons. I mean he'd still be able to use psychic moves by they'd be weakened, which would be what the government wants of course.

Well I was thinking completely incapacitate his powers so that he couldn't use them at all but then his telepathy's unusable. However I see what you mean (thought that you meant that but needed confirmation).

Why restrict to armbands? Make a headband too. Or just crush the Dark Gems into a fine serum and inject it into Mewtwo to forever cripple his Psychic powers. 8D
