I want to start a new roleplay, but I kind of want everyone's opinion on it. So here is my idea:
There was a powerful being, capable of almost anything. He was so powerful that only a god or someone who was powerful enough could kill him. He ruled his planet with an iron fist but left to terrorize another planet. Another being decides to punish his cat and the being terrorizing the planet sacrifices his powers. The people on the now powerless being have decided to form two groups, those who are loyal an those who want to be disloyal, causing a war. This sound good or not?
The plot is that the citizens have decided to form two groups because the loyal still want to be loyal and the other want to be disloyal and not serve their master.

I believe it could work, but you'd have to have at least a certain number of people for each side.

And being loyal or disloyal to an all powerful being sounds like a losing battle from the beginning for the people against him....

But you see, the powerful being isn't all powerful, and he sacrifices his powers to save his cat from hell. That's why there is a revolution. One group of people who want to be free from the not so powerful being and the other group still loyal.
