As the tower's platform lifted there was only one thought on Solaris' mind. This is it.
It wasn't how he had invisioned it, but all the same they were steadily pushing their way to the top. The floor from the previous level had been ripped from it's structure to make the platform, a protect shield formed overhead to break through the opposide floors above. In seconds Orion had lifted them to the top and as the debris slid from the top of the shield to clatter about the ground around them, Solaris felt a wave of uneasiness hit.
The Sun guildmaster starred at the large double doors before them, black and laced with colorful gems in no real order. He wondered if this was Eri's red carpet treatment. The door hardly seemed to match the rest of the towers decor.
Without a word the gray Espeon had dropped the shield and strolled forward, he turned to glance back at the assembled guilds with a frown.
"Half of you won't walk out of here alive. I hope you realize that before you follow. Now is your last chance. You can turn back, no one would look down on you for it. I can teleport you back to the bottom floor...you'd have to walk home, but that's hardly relevant."
With that the old Psychic sat down, giving everyone a moment to consider the option.

A low murmur passed over the crowd, Pokemon chatted amongst themselves and spoke in hushed tones. Do what? Leave? Fight? The world was ending. Make a choice.
"He which hath no stomach to this fight, let him depart. His passport shall be made and crowns for convoy put in his purse. We would not die in that man's company, that fears his fellowship, to die with us."So much for not being looked down upon. The Pikachu speaking had made it quite clear her thoughts on the matter.
Tempest's voice was calm, strangely enough. She'd been at her wits end in panic moments before and had finally managed to reach a sort of compromise in her mind. Do or die.
"I don't think it's appropriate to be reciting Shakespeare at a time like this." Archer commented, arms folded across his chest. "...he wrote mostly tragedies, you know."
Tempest frowned at the Mewtwo for that. He had to go and point that out didn't he? A sharp nudge from Raith nearly made the legendary fall over.
"Oh-don't be a wet blanket, Archie."
"Archer." The Mewtwo corrected automatically. Raith ignored him.
"This'll be a cake walk. Go in. Eat angry little Eevee. World saved."
"It's a bit more....complicated." Orion mused to out loud, though he spoke mostly to himself. "I don't think we can use the original plan here. Our best bet is to take Eri out as quickly as possible and hope the tribe destroyed the other elites. With the sword we can retrieve the relics and restore Arceus to full power."
Of course, they still needed Creaus that remained within the Lopunny host. That could be taken cared of easily, no doubt she'd be there with her 'father'.
"Then are we ready...?" Solaris asked, his voice shaky though he tried to mask it.

"....yes."
Orion flung open the doors with a Psychic and stepped forward, the guild slowly filing along behind him.

"IT'S A TRAP-STO-" A cry arose from somewhere to the left and the resounding slam of the double doors echoed from behind them. They were locked in now. No turning back.
Solaris lifted his head to where the voice called from. A golden cage, similar to a bird cage, was suspended from the sealing. Peering down at the guild from between the bars the familiar black and gold face of Neon stared with worried eyes. A small Jirachi was perched upon her head wailing.

"You've kept me waiting." Perched directly before the guilds on a medium-sized pedastal, Eridanus sat calmly. His ears twitched faintly as he gave the guilds a sweeping glance. The Eevee stood slowly, stepping of his pedastal and took a few steps towards the guilds before glanced behind himself.
Following his gaze would reveal what at first was thought to be a statue of Arceus...and in truth was Arceus himself.

The god stood, eyes black and seemingly lifeless. He was held immobile to the ceiling and floor by entricate silver chains that laced around his limbs and throat and the ornate structure on his back.
Arceus did not seem to realize anyone as there and though he stood stark still, looking closely would reveal the slightest tremor along his sides. An indication of shallow breathing.

Solaris' mouth fell open of its own accord. Shocked into silence.

Eri casually glanced back. "You see what has become of your God? How he is so easily imprisoned and restrained. This is who you've put your faith into and yet here he is. Useless. Utterly weak. Pathetic." Each word was spat out as though poison in his mouth. The black and white normal type began to pace back and forth in front of the stunned Pokemon of the guilds.
As he walked his expression grew more and more agitated.
"I have spent countless centuries fighting for what is mine! Why should it be Arceus who plays god of this world? Why not anyone else?! He is only a husk! An empty shell of neutrality! But with the two demi-gods that once formed him I can easily rise above and take his steed! He was a fool to give them up! A damned fool! And now I'm going to do as I wish, regardless of your intentions! You have meddled in my affairs for far too long and I grow weary of your pathetic attempts at denying the inevitable! I give you one last chance, why not bow before your new leader now? I will show you mercy if you submit!"

"Submit this, ********!" A blast of electricity shot forth and struck the normal type in the face, curtesty of Tempest. Eri slowly glanced up, the lightning had scored his cheek and left a smoldering trail of burnt flesh. He scowled, though didn't seem to care for the pain. If anything he was more annoyed at being interupted.

"...that is the second time you've scarred my face. For that I won't kill you. I'll kill the others...and you. You can be my servant for all of eternity!" The Eevee's voice rang out in a shout and he tilted his head back to scream skyward.
"I'LL OBLITERATE YOUR VERY BEINGS! THERE WILL BE NO AFTERLIFE FOR YOU! I WILL WIPE YOU ALL FROM EXISTENCE!"
And it began to rain lightning as he cast his Judgement down, a pale purple protect shield forming around him.

Let's begin!

You all have full health! That's 50 health and trust me you'll need every drop. You will now take individual damage per character.
Each character gets two 1-10 sided dice. The first is dodge, the second is attack.
(The dice are in order of Pokemon in your post. Solly is first in my post, so he'll have the first two dice.)

Eridanus will do 5 damage each turn. ALWAYS FIVE. That is unless you take a hit for someone.

You are now permitted to take damage for someone else, however they can not be YOUR Pokemon. I can not let Barcel take a hit for Scarlet, because I play both of those characters. However, Barcel could take a hit for Epitaph because she belongs to Kaylie.

If your character takes a hit for another character, they take 10 damage regardless of any other rolls. (ie they do not need to the extra 5 damage if they fail their dodge roll.)
If your character guards another character from taking damage, they can not attack in the same turn.

User Image
You must take out the shield FIRST.
Eridanus: ???
Protect Shield: 300

From this point on there will be a post requirement at the bottom of each Eridanus Post. This requirement is easy to follow so long as you read instructions properly.
Failure to meet the requirement will result in INSTANT DEATH for one of your characters.
The first requirement is to include the word 'hostile' in your post somewhere. Please bold it, underline it, italisize it. Whatever you want, so long as it is noticeable.

Oliver knew that this was quite probably the most difficult battle he'd ever faced. In all his years of experience, in and out of the Guild, he'd never imagined he would face one who could defeat Arceus. Even so, he knew a victory was not impossible. Eridanus was, quite frankly, a complete and utter moron. For some strange reason, he'd decided it would be a good idea to send his Elite against the guild no more than three at a time, usually one. He had then further decided that it would be a good idea to lock himself in a room, with no traps or reinforcements or any sort of preparation, with seventy guild members. Eri might be powerful, but he did not rule the universe yet, and every single guild member was a highly skilled warrior.

As the Judgment storm erupted, Oliver was hit almost immediately by one of the bolts of lightning, not having dodged quickly enough. It failed to do anything, though, and Oliver quickly realized the cause--that orb pendant he'd received after Celsus's death. He'd forgotten he had it. Well, if this was the kind of battle it would be, with the only hostile doing nothing to hurt him, he might as well attack with everything he had. With that in mind, he launched himself directly at Eridanus, aura blades in hand.

Imiti, being rather less in posession of a pendant of immunity to everything the enemy was attacking with, decided that the safest option would be to hang back. Even so, a bolt was soon launched in the direction of him and Chuck, and was only deflected to the side by a very quickly placed barrier. The force of the resulting explosion knocked the two of them off their feet, not fully stopping until they hit the wall behind them. Chuck got up first. Knowing that he wasn't doing anything useful near the wall, he ran in.

"Nice job, Eri. You have officially gone off the deep end. And not just on a regular scale, either. We at the Guild tend to deal with quite a few maniacs, but I have never seen anyone who lost it as spectacularly as you have. There should be a medal named after you. The Eridanus Prize for Raving Lunacy has a nice ring to it, don't you think?" He punctuated his words with a barrage of fireballs, pounding away at the barrier that protected Eridanus.

Imiti hovered away from the battle, striking at Eridanus from afar with lightning and psychic blades. He wasn't exactly a Lucario's match in physical toughness and speed; his distance from the battle tended to have an inverse correlation with his potential for immediate death. Since he could aim quite well from here, it was best if he didn't get any closer.

Andrew && Rani && Thomas && Jordan && Isanna && Arden
x 50/50* x- x 45/50 x - x 45/50 x - x 45/50 x - x 45/50 x - x 50/50 x

Highly skilled warriors... er- right, about that Oliver~.

Shutting his eyes and looking away, Arden took to the air, seeming to deeply focus, his leaves starting brighten.
To say the least, the setting before the team was disheartening. They knew that Eridanus was completely zubat-s**t insane, but they could never imagine this: The one who created the world, supposedly all-powerful and all-knowing, the one who answered all their prayers and took care of those who passed; He was teetering on the edge of life, bound in chains. Each word that came out of the crazed eevee's mouth was like a punch in the gut. Isanna, for one, suddenly felt completely weak, shuffling back and putting her paw over her face. She was shaking, trying to hide the tears that were coming to her eyes. This couldn't be real, it was impossible! She tried to deny the day, telling herself it was a horrible dream and it was time to wake up, but it was no use. They, the team at least, were nothing more than a group of pokemon that only dreamed of becoming a great team. They were inexperienced at best, how could they take down this hostile creature that had thrown the Lord himself off of his throne? They had no brave or snarky remarks to throw at the eevee, unlike some of their guildmates. They were afraid.

"Well, I suppose this is the end." Jordan smiled beside the poochyena, "It's time to kill this a*****e, or at least die trying." He placed a paw on Isanna's ragged white fur, easing her up a bit. The poochyena slowly and quietly lifted herself up, blocking out the rest of Eridanus' rant. "I'm... I'm alright." The young woman slowly recovered from the shock and fully accepted the risks that were in front of her. "I'm alright."
"Well, great..." "Look out!" "What... .. Oh, SH -"
A strike of judgement struck the Jolteon directly, sending an unholy shock through his body and throwing him back, crashing into the large doors behind. Isanna gasped and quickly shot off a few stabs of ice at the shield before the judgement struck her next, forcing her on the ground, her teeth barred together to withstand the pain. She hardly felt the breeze of the pin missles that flew past her head and pieced the outside of the shield, nor the charge of the tepig running past and slamming into the protect with a flame charge. She did, however, catch glimpse of him fleeing back and getting struck in the leg. "Thomas!"

The nidorina, as quickly as she could, pulled a silver chain out of her bag and wrapped it around her leader's shell, trying to link the chain in the back. "Damnit paws, cooperate!" Andrew stared out of the corner of his eyes down at the piece, a small and clear orb, hanging around the end of metal now around his body. "This is - why?" The nidorina smirked, "You can thank me later." She glanced up, searching for the rest of her team, catching a familiar tropius attempting to conjure a bright light around him, but to no avail. The poison type said a prayer under her breathe, and within moments, Sunny Day had come into effect, at least for the time being. She had no idea how long it would last. A bright light started to shine above the pokemon, seeming to come from the smallest cracks in the top of the tower. Done assisting others for the round, the nidorina ran forward and attacked the shield, kicking it twice with powerful legs before being thrown back by judgement.

One of the bolts had come straight at Andrew, who had flinched in preparation, but was pleasantly surprised when the attack bounced harmlessly away, off of some strange force that seemed to be encircling him. With this strange protecting, the pupitar suddenly felt encouraged near a hundred times over. His body began to turn a blinding silver and the pokemon rushed over, ramming into the light, psychic shield several times with all this might. "Come out and face us, you coward!" he wailed, his call laced with fury.

A bright, yellow beam rained down from the sky and struck the top of the protect. Arden put all his focus into his solar beam, trying to at least fracture the shield.

"Obliterate my a**, you little runt!" Electra growled at the hostile little punk. Like she'd bow to her lunch! Electricity bouncing off of her, she shot another Electroweb at Eridanus. Scurrying around, she evaded the purple attack known as Judgement. She didn't feel very 'judged'. More like annoyed. She was pretty agile at this point. The lightning attack burst upon impact when it met with the Eevee's shield.

Hiro wasn't so lucky. The purple energy rammed into the fighting type, knocking him over. He got up, and said "We'll never bow! Now prepare for the end. You're the one getting wiped out of existence!" Running foward, his hand turned into steel. He brought it forward and rammed into the shield laid out by Eridanus.

Victor - Harumi - Aiden - Doku - Maxi
50/50 - 45/50 - 50/50 - 50/50 - 45/50

Victor, Maxi, and Aiden crowded together as the floor began to move. The three stayed close to the Eclipse sisters, Harumi and Skye, just so they could keep an eye on them. The two girls had proven themselves to be competent and effective in battle, but all three of them knew that Doku would freak out if anything bad happened to them. The three males were basically there to be meat shields if they were needed. Hey, they'd take a Judgment over pissing Doku off any day. Doku didn't get angry often, but when he did, s**t tended to go down hard.

"...Eridanus, huh...?" Aiden said, sitting back and yawning as their ride slowly ascended. Aiden had never encountered, seen, or even heard much about Eridanus. All Aiden knew was the Pokemon was an Eevee with a bad attitude. "Why haven't we just gotten a Charizard to smash him like a cupcake?" The Umbreon questioned.

His answer would come from Maxi, who was lighting himself a new, cherry-flavored cigar. "Ze' b*****d is crazy powerful," The Toxicroak muttered, a puff of smoke rising from his mouth. "He has a knack for leveling buildings. It's quite an art-form. I've seen him do it, it's beautiful..." Maxi was a bit of a veteran around the Guild, and he had seen first-hand what a hostile Eridanus was capable of. This was not going to be anything close to an easy fight. This was most likely going to be the hardest, most grueling fight that any of the Pokemon present had ever taken part in. Except maybe Archer. He had his head cut off once. That's a pretty tough fight.

Harumi leaned up against her sister, closing her eyes and letting out a gentle murr as she listened to Skye explain her current physical state. When Skye asked Harumi about the condition of her head, the younger Eevee opened her eyes and tilted her head to the side, glancing at her sister. "Huh? What's wrong with my head?" She asked. The blow to the head that Harumi had taken was so hard and harmful, she'd forgotten it had even happened. Lifting a paw to the bridge of her nose, she rubbed off a bit of the dried blood and looked at it. "... This is my blood, isn't it?"

Doku was tapping his paws nervously on the ground as he stood next to his mate. There was worry and sorrow evident in his look. "I wish you weren't here..." He muttered to Zori, closing his eyes. "This is Eridanus... harumi and Skye shouldn't be here... Hell, I shouldn't be here, only one of my friggin' eyes works..." The Leafeon continued with a deep sigh. "None of us are ready for this... We're either going to barely win or all die..." Doku turned his head, looking to Zori. There were tears in the corner of his eyes. It was quite obvious that Doku was more scared now than he had ever been in his life. Eridanus was the reason he had taken his family and left the Guild before. Now they were taking the Eevee head on. "No matter what happens... I love you..."

Before anybody could say another word, they had arrived. Harumi could only turn around and open her mouth to speak before a Judgment attack slammed into her body, knocking her back and causing her small body to roll a couple feet. And that was a weak Judgment. She hadn't even taken a full blow.

Seeing the Eevee fall, the first to react was Maxi. "Oooh, zas' not good!" the Toxicroak exclaimed, quickly running to Harumi's aide. However, before Maxi could reach her, the Judgment swung around once more, catching the Toxicroak right in the back. His cigar fell from his mouth and bounced on the floor as he fell onto his front, right next to Harumi.

"Take him out! Kill him as fast as possible!" Doku's cry of war was all his group seemed to need. Victor, Aiden, and Doku himself all rushed forward in front of Maxi and Harumi, protecting them with their lives and throwing various attacks at the evil Eevee. They had to buy the two injured enough time to regain their composure.

Incultyr && Morana && Veritas && Atra && Melissa && Hope && Zero && Suicune
45/50 && 48/50* && 45/50 && 50/50* && 40/50 && 50/50* && 50/50 && 45/50

Everything seemed to have gone so fast. They had come preparing to fight their way to the very top, but suddenly they were already here. Team Polaris and Team Azalea came in together, the two teams having always been close in a certain way. Incultyr glanced at the teams around them with a doubtful frown. The Guild has always prevailed over the hostile forces which seems to assail the castle on a regula basis. They have overcome legendaries, gods even. But never with the unity they should. Sheer force, sheer luck- was it enough for a fight of this magnitude?

When Orion offered a way out, Incultyr immediately cast his eyes over his team. He had a sudden, terrifying image of Morana's lifeless corpse. He couldn't bear the thought, but swallowed the complaints he wanted to give voice to. Morana had a right to be here, as did everyone else who chose to come. And they needed every fighter they could get.

Atra stared at the ornate door, the two plates dangling from a chain on his neck suddenly feeling heavy. This was it. It was time to kill that damned eevee who had caused the death of his father. He looked sideways at Melissa, and noticed her determined look and the slight shake in her limbs. Damn it. Not her too. She and Hope should get out of here, right now. They didn't belong on a battlefield, especially not this one.

I will keep her safe. Hope reassured him, and he nodded stiffly. It was too late now, as Orion flung the doors before them wide open. Atra stiffened, preparing himself for the worst.

Zero thought shuffling in as a group was kind of stupid. They were forced to crowd together at the doorway, the density making them easy targets for attack. The moment he and the rest of the two teams darted into the doorway, they made their way to the side, everyone scanning the room for signs of their enemy.

Then the door slammed shut behind them. The team reacted instantly to Neon's warning, each assuming a battle position as their eyes were all drawn to a certain eevee. Atra ignored the idle banter, the useless talk and immediately fell inside him for a grasp at his magical reserves. He pushed the image of Arceus weak, restrained, dying out of his mind. The sight scared him, someone who has at the very least halfheartedly followed Arceus his whole life, and it had no place in his mind when he needed to focus. Eridanus was busy talking, if he could just get a quick attack off-

Atra disappeared in a Shadow Force just as Eridanus released his attack. he reappeared, slamming against Eri's protect shield, cursing as he bounced off. Damnit it, he was a second too late!

Behind him a bolt of Judgment flew straight at Team Polaris.

"Watch out!" Incultyr could only brace himself, with no time to react otherwise as the bolt struck the ground beside him. He grunted in pain as the attack rippled through him.

Veritas threw herself aside in an attempt to dodge the attack, only to have a second smaller bolt hit her right in the side. The jolteon flew backwards, right into Morana.

"Sorry" She grunted, shaking as she got back onto her feet. The Houndoom got right back up, shaking her head to tell Veritas it was no problem. The fight had started rather suddenly, and none of them were prepared for it.

The two jumped out of the way of a third bolt, each retaliating with their own attack. Veritas called a thunderbolt down upon the eevee's barrier and Morana added to her attack with a second.

Incultyr simply stood his ground, gathering a dark pulse between his hands before unleashing it at Eridanus.

Melissa anticipated the attack from the direction the conversation was going. The moment Atra left her side Melissa threw up a Light Screen barrier, throwing it as wide as she could to cover the pokemon behind her.

A bolt destined for another target struck the shield and bounced back towards Eri's own protect. A second came and struck her straight on, shattering the barrier and blasting the Bulbasaur back.

"Melissa!" Hope cried, teleporting to the Bulbasaur's side instantly. The Jirachi cursed her slow reaction- if she had been the one to put up the shield, it probably would have held. Atra materialized beside them then, standing protectively before the Bulbasaur as she shakily got back onto her feet. That had hurt.

"I'm- I'm fine." She gasped, knowing that Atra needed to focus on the fight and not on her. He was one of their strongest fighters after all.

Zero wove his way around the battle, dodging or deflecting the attacks that came at him with all the skill his decade of exploring had given him. He got right up to the barrier made by Eridanus, his eyes scanning it for weaknesses before breathing a wave of cold, humid air over it. The Icy Wind began to freeze in a thin layer over the barrier. It wouldn't last long, but Zero figured that reducing the eevee's isibility for even a few seconds might help lower his guard. The Glaceon darted in to slam an Aqua Tail against the barrier, and immediately darted away. Glaceons were not known to be very sturdy pokemon- best to hit and retreat.

Suicune did not have a very good start to the battle. The moment she saw the eevee try to put up a barrier, she had made her way straight towards it- only to be blasted back by a Judgment. good going Suicune, running straight at the final boss is a really good idea.

Total damage: 46

EBONY
100 / 100

A familiar figure hovered in the shadows, awaiting the order to strike. Dulled crimson eyes now gleamed with determination and anger. There were no signs of a pupil visible in either. The corruption of the deity within was complete, and Creaus had taken total and utter control of whatever willpower was left in the lithe-bodied Lopunny. Her stare burned holes through the guild Pokemon that swarmed in and around them, and the abrupt, uncontrollable twitching of her limbs seemed to signal that she very much wanted to fight. She had things that she wanted to destroy, to kill. There would be vengeance for her father, and satisfaction for herself. She would scrape the world bare of the impurities such as those before her. They would die.

It seemed to take forever for the command to pass through, and it seemed not to reach her in time to prevent the brutal scarring of the Eevee's face. Her fury got the best of her, and the control of the corrupted goddess quickly snapped. Within a few moments, she'd chosen a target. The Mewtwo below her was strong and tempermental, but a face well-known to the Lopunny. It would be a difficult task to dispatch Archer, but it mattered not. The death of a legendary would severely weaken the unity and morale of the guilds. It would make their situation all the worse, especially when once considered how few beings of sense there actually were among them.

She was but a blur in the corner of the eyes below, too cleverly hidden to be noticed right away. Without warning, she leaped downward. A dead fall earthward became a hostile, lethal attack, and she slashed outward at the Mewtwo's chest, his delicate skin easily torn by the shadowy, sharpened claws she wielded. She met his gaze for a split moment, and she snarled mid-leap, already struck with the realization that her attack would more than likely become a survivable one. She wanted to tear his flesh, to feel the warmth of fresh, dark blood seeping into her fur. She wanted to hear his gurgling screams of agony. She wanted to know the satisfaction of being able to kill again, to destroy without the orders of Eridanus or her father barring her way.

The Lopunny quickly darted around him as her attack made contact, and a mere snarl escaped her lips as she bounded off around the crowd, trying to search for a new target to take advantage of. The group was too large, they all moved independantly, each being still seething with adrenaline and the fury that battle brought. With the advantage of surprise long gone, she had little choice but to just pick away at those who remained.

{{ Ebony has joined the party! You may also attack her, but be warned, for she might choose to attack you back. Please also note that the average guild member will not be aware of the situation with Creaus. Psychopathic Lopunny is just that. A psychopathic Lopunny.

- 6 to Archer's health bar. }}

Skye & Zori
-37/50- -Invincibility Stone-

Skye only twitched her ears in response to her sister, pinning then back against her head as she stood next to her. Their lithe bodies were very light, but also quite strong through what little training they'd managed to get. Granted, Haru was stronger, but Skye wasn't terribly bothered by that. She would catch up eventually, and there was more to a fight than physical strength. She was quick, and that was what she relied on. There was a soft huff of breath as Harumi leaned against her side, shifting slightly to support the added burden. She was worried for Haru, but there was little now that she could manage. At least the pulse of healing spells from the tribe would have dealt with any major damage. That was her hope, anyway. They had a lot more important things to deal with.

As they came into view of their enemies, she could feel herself tense. Harumi, too, was suddenly moving. It was as though she'd not been injured at all, and certainly Skye had to agree with her. Even her shoulder seemed to trouble her little in comparison to the rush of excitement that already had her mind in focus. It was a clear, sharp moment for Skye. Eridanus stood before them, tiny but proud. There was something menacing about him, even despite his size. He was larger than she or Harumi, certainly, but compared to most... Eridanus was miniscule.

The statue before him shifted weakly, as though coming to life. She twitched, immediately fixing her gaze to the being she never dreamed of looking upon. Arceus. The god of all, and the balance of their entire world. His body was marred with the marks and scars of brutality and torture. It made her heart ache to think of anyone in that sort of situation, but if anything, if just made her angrier. She stepped forward slightly, lowering her head to be level with her shoulders, and shifting her stand in turn to match the cat-like posture she'd adopted. With any luck, she'd be able to make it through this fight without needing any of the tribe's tonics. She just hoped that if she did need them, she wouldn't have broken the glass bottles, first. She could hear the subtle clinking of glass at her side, echoing in her ears as crisply as autumn leaves beneath her paws.

Tempest attacked, and the stillness was broken to chaos. Skye sprang forward, diving around the form of someone who'd been thrown. A Rhydon, maybe? Tyranitar? She didn't know. She hadn't taken the time or effort to find out, and it mattered not, anyway. Dark eyes fixed momentarily on Eridanus, only to shift to the shadows overhead as a figure darted earthward from the ceiling. She didn't hesitate to get out of there, narrowly avoiding the path of the vicious, dark-furred Lopunny who'd passed.

A hostile, deadly Judgement attack struck the floor, electricity sparking in every direction. She let loose a burst of speed with a Quick Attack, and leaped, extending the jump with an Air Slash that propelled her high enough to escape the electricity that surged underfoot. The series of Air Slashes continued, though this time at Eridanus. With her form now high above the crowd, she had a clear shot, and she openly accepted the chance to get in a hit of her own. The blast of air seemed to erupt from her paws with an explosive force, the sheer volume of the noise making her ears ring, and the strength tossing her backward. She did her best to flip back onto her paws, barely making it right-side-up before she hit the ground. She landed, then, her forepaws together to avoid dealing with the residual energy from the electrical attack.

There was no hesitation, and no waiting to see if her attack had hit. She'd kept the same strategy so far, and she continued to believe it was her best option. She had to keep moving.

Zori looked her mate in the eyes, the deep gold only darkening with sadness and shame. "Doku, whatever you must do to survive, do so. Don't worry about me, not even for a moment." She pressed her nose quickly to his, inhaling what little of his scent she could make out through the harsh stench of dried and rotting blood. Somewhere, underneath that awful smell, and the rage that burned in his dark eyes... somewhere there was Doku. Her mate and her husband, the friend who'd been at her side, spending an afternoon just curled up with her in a linen closet, nestled into the bath towels. The one who'd spilled an entire pot of cold tea over their heads when he accidentally broke the handle. The one who'd become a Leafeon so that he could look her in the eyes and make her smile, for every day of her life.

"Doku. Be careful," she murmured under her breath, the din of the crowd around them easily drowning out any chance of her words reaching his leafy ears. She was worried for him, for all of them. She honestly wasn't sure if her family would survive the day, but she would fight until her last breath to keep her them safe. It made her heart ache to think of life without them, but she had to try and do something, if not for them, than at least in their name.

The Leafeon's evaluation of the situation was far more technical than her daughter's, and a lot quicker in taking place. Arceus was bound, and seriously weakened. He was of no help, and likely wouldn't do so, regardless. Neutral. Eridanus; extremely powerful, and a deadly force of anger. She could practically sense the amount of power that surged through the room. It was as though the mere presence of so many legends and over-powered brutes like Eridanus was enough to make the room spin. Then again, she supposed that Arceus himself could likely provide that effect. She flattened her ears, golden eyes glancing back to Eri. She could see a winding path toward him, though it would take a bit of work to get there. Within moments, the crowd would be in motion, and the path would shift.

She shifted and wordlessly slipped forward, squeezing through the miniscule gaps in the crowd to try and get toward the front of the group. An attack was quickly fired, and chaos seemed to explode around them. She knew not who'd attacked first, but she knew now that Eridanus would tolerate very little. Sparks of electricity danced and flew over her head, and she knew herself to be correct. Eridanus had retaliated without hesitation, and he would show no mercy from this point on. He was a man focused only one one thing; his own victory.

"Attack!" she screeched harshly, lashing her leafy tail as she swtiched paces to a full sprint. She wished that she had her team along for the battle, for she knew it was something that they'd likely had a great wish to be a part of. Her shattered, broken team. So many of them had died to protect their loved ones, and what they believed was right. Even Maisha, who'd been with them for but a few weeks, had sacrificed all that she had, and passed on to another world. Her brother's mate was gone, as well; a fate she hoped never to face herself.

As if fate had read her mind, she caught a faint glimpse of gold and violet, and knew that her daughters had both rejoined the fight as well. So long as it didn't combine the two together. She didn't want to lose her daughters. She lost track of them quickly, but it became quickly less of a concern, instead opting to deal with Eridanus himself.

She circled around him at a dead run, trying to get closer to the massive windows that lined the far side of the room. Sunlight streamed in, but it was fast fading. The ever-darkening clouds from above were making it a real challenge to get any sun at all. Even the normally simple Sunny Day could do nothing to break that barrier of darkness. Drawing on what remained of the solar energy, she unleashed a brilliant Solarbeam at Eridanus' thin frame. The resulting explosion was disappointingly weak, but it still cast a brief flash of eerie green light across the room. Golden eyes gleamed with frustration as she studied the protective barrier that shielded Eridanus himself from attack. In truth, she'd not noticed it at all, before. She should have, though, and the fact that she'd missed its presence at all was... annoying. It mattered little, however, as she'd do her best to dispell its strength anyway.

Another blast of energy, this time swirling with shadows and sucking the light from the air around it, burst against the shield. If she couldn't make use of the sunlight, she might as well opt for the opposite route.

( Saraph & Alaisdair & The Raven & GOOP & Ravi & Joey )
(47 --- 45 --- 45 --- 50 --- 50 --- 50 )

Saraph arrived later then the other two of his team who had rushed forwards, and it seemed he and his two men would pay the price for it. Judgement rained down on them, and though Saraph tried to make a barrier around them it was too late. The hostile attack took its toll, and the three were stunned in place, Saraph wincing as he tried to regain himself. The centaur took long, heavy breaths, looking for the source of the attack though he knew full well who it was. It was the whole reason they were here.

Joey looked at them all with his hands on his hips and a Shellos on his head. He'd be much easier to take seriously if he didn't look like a bowl of fruits right now. "Y'all r' a buncha idjits. I ain't ever known no one who lettim' get kicked like that so easy" Saraph looked down at him, the centaur had enough of him. No more cool, calm, and collected, no, Joey was just way too much. the fires on his back and tail raged as he took his hand and parted his hair, revealing his eyes.

They were a delicate light blue. A very pretty light blue like that of clean oceans.

He wanted to see the Audino eye to eye. "What the hell's wrong with you?" his eyes were at a point, and those blue eyes had a sort of rage in them. Joey was sort of stunned at it, he hadn't ever thought that he would see the others eyes. it was too odd a thing. "The world is ending. People are dying, others are fleeing, and all you do is NITPICK! I don't get why you wanna start a fight with me when you should be starting fights with the overpowered little shits that want you gone." Saraph turned around, taking a deep breath. "If I'm such a shitty leader then you do it, ********. I'm done" Joey reached his paw out to say something, but Saraph was already gone. He was trotting away to god knows where, just somewhere not near them.

The Audino frowned. He put his paw in a fist, shaking it as he called out, "Well screw you too! Ah can be twice the leader y'all was!" his tone was aggressive, and he looked at what he had now. A Piplup, an Oddish, and a Shellos. He could manage this, piece of cake. "W-Will he be back?" Alaisdair stuttered. Joey spat on the floor, "Tch, who cares. Y'all ain't gonna need him anyways.

Goop looked saddened by the hybrids leave, though he couldn't stay that way for long. "Get ready fer another round, pinky. We've got a lopunny t' get rid of!" He had noticed Ebonys presence, and he'd rather deal with the little fish before the big one. Everyone else was handling Eridanus anyways, so why not they try their chances at another target? Pulling on goops appendages, the shellos stuck his neck out and opened his mouth, letting out a barrage of puke Mud Bombs at the normal type. Raven was quick to follow, stepping on Alaisdairs head. The oddish panicked and shot out a Solarbeam, accompanied by the piplups own water gun. They weren't functioning like one right now, but they were still a team!

Senka dropped her cane all of a sudden when they got to the battlefield. "Ha...hehe..." Louvell looked at her, "Sen, you okay?" He questioned. She looked up, her eye giddy as she brought her hand up to the bandage on the other one. In one swift motion she ripped it off, the cyan eye underneath in pristine condition. It was like nothing had happened to it before! "Peachy, peachy, I'm just..." She giggled, "Feeling so PEACHY!" to punctuate that last word she slid her hands over her waist, the bandages over her midsection falling off and onto the ground. She had been healed to full health just as everyone else had been and this meant that she was going to fight Eridanus once more, with her legs this time as she had the last.

"Are you boys ready?" her hand began to glow, various silvery balls forming next to her and growing larger "We're gonna ROCK THIS!" as she said that she flung her hand forwards, the masses next to her getting to their largest and sharpening, taking a shape much like that of a rock. They spiraled forwards at Eridanus, making a low whizzing sound behind them.

Louvell chuckled. She was back alright, and there was an eerie toothy grin on his face as he stamped his paw on the ground, his body lighting up as he was consumed by fire. "Lets burn this place to the ground, then!" he added on, three balls of fire shooting out from the conflagration he was now. Though the flames wouldn't die out as he kept the air around him hot, his eyes red and crazed.

"Um, um, um...!" Fredrick looked forwards, "I can do cool things too!" he half whimpered. Facing Eridanus, the Gothorita put his hands out wide, clapping them together all of a sudden. Out burst a beam of multicolored light, zipping forwards with the rest of the barrage of attacks. Yeah, that'd show him! Shooting rainbows is manly!

User ImageThe air was hostile from the moment the platform hoisting up the guilds stood still and the protect shield surrounding them fell; this much Finian was sure of. He often feel short of his sensitive abilities as far as being a Disaster Pokemon went for him, but in this moment now he was sure of the impending doom ahead beyond those double doors. He followed cautiously with the rest of the crowd as they were thrown open, never leaving the mindset of being at ready suspecting a surprise attack from the devious enemy. What came into view before him was even worse however: his god in chains. He let out a feral snarl. As always, the pre-battle talk was of no importance to him. Perhaps if he paid attention to guild dealings more often he would understand what the hell was going on right now but none of that truly mattered in the end. He knew where his allegiances lied no matter the circumstances. Judgement attacks began to fly; he was accustomed to this fact by now against this particular enemy. That Eevee had some psychotic complex, but the addition of serious, raw power made him no laughing matter. By this point however there was no sense in even dodging. He was fully rejuvenated between the last round of battle and now and his orders included finishing this as quickly as possible. His own life truly did matter and he would begin to cherish it once he felt it draining, but taking one Judgement attack at least in exchange for being able to set himself up to counter was plenty worth it. He stared up at the ceiling; something he never done before when bracing himself for such impact. It may have been the sheer light energy of the enemy fire, but for a moment he wasn't even sure if there was a ceiling above him. It was as if the dizzying ball of light was truly raining down from the heavens. The attack hit dead on, dispersed through him and out through the floor which was probably not in the most stable condition right now to begin with considering how much damage their climb had already done to the tower, another technicality that need not be thought about at this moment. Still in the same stance as he was when he took the attack, the Absol swiped his head scythe through the air with the most peculiar neck-jerking motion, in the process creating a Psycho Cut attack, a thin stream of solid psychic substance of some sort that whizzed through the air at its desired target. Sure, a Lopunny enemy seemed to have joined the fray by the time he got around to this attack, but she was of no concern. It was his understanding that if Eri was taken down, all of this would be over. That's what he wanted most at this moment.

Rai and Hari still lingered in the corner. "This guy is completely bonkers! I think this is more out of pity then anything else, Hari!" Rai said with a snicker. Hari laughed slightly. "If anything, he needs to be bumped off his little horse!" "He's a bit hostile... and egotistical." Rai sighed. The purple lightning bolts streaked towards the both of them. Hari was able to jump out of the way of her attack, but Rai jumped right into the bolt intended for Hari. It wrapped around his body and shocked him slightly. He feel to a knee. This WAS difficult, as Solaris had warned. But he wouldn't give up so quickly, no. Nor would Hari.

"It hurts a lot.... but doesn't feel like judgement... I thought it would be some propaganda music in the background....." Rai hissed. He jumped up again. "Hey buddy, your howl sucks a**!" Fire grew in his mouth as he shot a Fire Blast at the pale shield. Most bounced off of the shield, but some licked the shields edges.

"Rai, don't be so careless!" Hari whimpered.

Hari stared at thew newer enemy. She blended so well with the shadows, she wasn't able to see her. But she was tearing at one of the only with right mind in their head! Hari decided to turn this away from Archer, and towards her. The moves that this lost soul had unleashed wouldn't cause Hari much harm. She ran towards the blackened goddess abruptly.

"Hey, ugly! Over here! Betcha you can't hurt me!" Hari said mockingly. She started turning to let this hostile being see how it felt to be eaten. Hari had a wide, crazy grin on her face. She was going to enjoy this. She saw the Judgement again streaking towards her.

Wasn't one dodge enough? She started bracing for impact. But before that, the giant jaw upon her head opened and snapped on the Lopunny's left shoulder. She couldn't tell if blood spilled, but she could taste the flesh of the Lopunny.

It didn't taste good at all. "How do like how that feels, you big punk!" She managed to get that off before the purple energy slammed into her harshly. It ripped her off of the Lopunny's arm, but the jaw on her head had left a tooth in her arm. She didn't hurt much from the energy. It wasn't shocking her like she saw it do to Rai. But her mouth on top hurt, and slamming against the floor like that didn't help her.

Quote:
Imiti turned in his place above the battle when he heard the Lopunny strike, and at that point he realized the guilds would lose after all. Eridanus might be possible to defeat if the guild members had nothing else to focus on. The Judgment attacks, while dangerous, would still have been the only threat; while they were not exactly easy to evade, one could still evade them if he or she were free from any other distractions. But he’d also seen this Lopunny in battle back when he’d been a relatively new recruit into the Guild of the Sun. She’d been able to fend off himself, Oliver, Cecil, Solaris, Alfred, Orion, Sasha, Tempest, and Tolin all at once and yet still escape. Who knew the damage she could do in a room full of guild members that already had a difficult battle on their hands?
.The best choice, he decided, would be to attempt to remove the Lopunny from the battle for as long as possible. He could not defeat her, but he was pretty certain he could keep her occupied long enough that the other guild members could bring down Eridanus. With that in mind, he sent a powerful bolt of lightning down at the Lopunny. “HEY! Up here, you worthless waste of space!”

.A short while later, Chuck heard a scream. He turned, seeing Imiti fall like a ragdoll, bleeding from a very much fatal Judgment wound. As rage took hold of him he felt himself growing, wings sprouting out of his back as he evolved. In the honored tradition of his new form he let loose a deafening roar and charged, blazing like a meteor. He nearly got close before the storm felled him as well.
Oliver could do nothing but watch.

There was blood in the water now.
Chaos erupted across the room and the shrill sounds of attacks firing off in every direction gave little pretense over who was on the winning side.
Solaris ducked under a wide arc of electricity, Judgements snapping like fireworks in great explosions of white trimmed gold.
This was hardly the time to stop and think, there was no chance to organize or regroup. With every second that ticked by the grew ever closer to losing this battle.
Eri had the homefield advantage, he had the power, he had the element of surprise.

Blood splatters white floors, shattered walls, broken doors

In seconds the gray blur, that Solaris now realized was his grandfather, had shot forward through the barrage of judgments. The younger Espeon opened his mouth to call out, to tell him to stop, but the blinding flash of the attacks cut him off and sent him hurtling back against the opposing wall.

Through an agonized haze he watched the assault continue. Bleeding from a chest wound, Archer was grappling with that dark Lopunny for the sword. The two were evenly matched due to his restricted powers. Neon's ressurections were far from perfect.
He threw her against the wall finally, retched the sword from her grasp and in the same fluid movement had spun it around the impale her through the chest.
Eyes turned, he saw that...Empoleon from before send a Judgement ricochetting back towards Eri with his arm shield. The resulting impact shattered his arm into splash of red and black. In seconds the emerald and ruby Flygon was at his side and the shield lay discarded on the floor.
Raith hovered over a small group, a Pikachu and a Dragonaire, his thick hide catching the attacks and sending them rippling harmlessly down his back.
A sharp scream had Solaris back to his feet as Tempest took a Judgement and hit the floor.
Solaris rushed to her side only to be blindsided by a sleek gray blur.

Regardless of the pain, the breaking of bones, Orion pushed forward as Judgement after Judgement tore into him. His shoulder ripped, an ear torn off, he continued on this destructive path with one goal in mind. Disable Eridanus.
"GRANDFATHER!" The cry arose, sharp and panicked but he hardly paused to heed it.
I must end this. It must end. It should have never started, I should have been more perceptive.
He slammed into the white and black Eevee, paws throwing the other Pokemon down. The two scuffled, claws scratching and teeth lunging for throats and vulnerable flesh.
"I won't let you take victory right from my paws!" The normal type screamed into Orion's face as the Psychic got the better of him and threw him on his back.
Orion said nothing, struggling to hold his brother down. OR the shell of his brother. It was Darkrai he was fighting, it was Darkrai he aimed to kill.
Sadly Eri was in the way.
"SOLARIS!" The old Espeon called out, "ROAR OF TIME!"

Amidst the sound of battle, Solaris heard the order loud and clear. His paws carried him forward and his mind reeled. To Roar of Time Eridanus would be to rip his own flesh and blood from existence as well. Orion would be struck by the attack regardless of how he aimed due to their close proximity.
Fire and end this madness. Do not and it continues.
Logically the path was clear but he wavered, soundless, for some alternative.
"YOU STUPID b*****d! DO IT!" The gray Espeon struggled, could not pin the other for too long. Solaris closed his eyes then. Inhaled.
Everything stopped as he opened his mouth. To say farewell? To ask for another way? No. In vibrant colors the attack burst, forcing his maw to snap back further, exploding forth in a symphony of sound and light.
The attack spiraled, tearing Judgements from their paths and struck home. Dead home.
Flesh and fur rended from bone, he could see in graphic detail the results of his attack. Time ticked back, young Espeonand young Eevee starred forward in shocked awe.
Twin Eevee, both white and black, glanced at eachother with wide eyes as the miasm continued to engulf them.

Ori, are we dying?
I think so.
I don't want to.
It's okay, Eri. If we die, mom will be there. It'll be nice again.
I never meant to do bad things. I never wanted to. I didn't know-
Shh. It's fine. I know. But it's okay now, Eri. Everything is oka-

Tears dribbled down the pink Espeon's face as the attack shimmered away. No traces left. No bones, no dust. They had simply ceased to exist. Blood collected with tears on his chin, spilling from the corners of his mouth. His throat torn from the effort of such a powerful attack.

It fell silent. Not a sound was heard or made. Ripped from existence itself within his vessel, Darkrai had fallen.

Or so it seemed.

From the floor the shadow rippled slowly, extending outward.

A certain violet descendant of the royal family, and the Tribe of Everlasting balance stood nearby, her dark eyes wide with shock and horror as one of the most infamous legends ever to exist returned to life before her eyes. The king of shadows, and lord of cruelty; Darkrai. There was no compassion in his gaze, and nothing but contempt in the curve of his wicked grin. Skye shivered, and her eyes found his for a brief moment. Tearing her gaze away, she bared her teeth in a short, sharp snarl of frustration. What could she do? She was no one, just an Eevee. And yet she still felt as though there was something that she was missing.

Suddenly, Skye could feel her heartbeat quicken, the steady thrum of her pulse becoming irritatic inside her chest. The sensation spread to her toes, and echoed in her ears. It was a warmth that spread from within, and calmed her down. There was nothing concerning about it, despite how strange it felt. She just knew that there was something to be done, and that she would be the one to do it. It was a sense of duty that hit her so swiftly that she thought of little else, pressing her way forward through the crowd. She moved faster, and only when she found herself about to sprint into battle did she find herself face to face with her cousin.

"Ivy?" The name slipped from her tongue so easily that it seemed scripted. This was the way it was supposed to happen. 'But how do I know that?' Her dark eyed blinked once, twice. A sense of understanding wrapped 'round them both, and she knew what they had to do. They were members of the Eclipse family, and although she'd never realized, that relation brought a gift. A great, and powerful gift that could not be ignored. It was a symbol of strength, and an agonizing curse to those who used it without reason. One that they shared with Eridanus. Did that make them related as well? She didn't know, but she realized that it made little difference. To stand against Darkrai alone would bring their downfall. Together, they stood a chance.

"Skye." She barely registered the confidence in her cousin's eyes, but one it hit her, she knew that the Glaceon was thinking the same thing. They'd both grown so much since they'd met last, and in truth, they were each much closer to becoming fully-grown. Skye stretched out for a brief moment, touching noses with the gold-eyed Glaceon. She felt her skin prickling, the fur along her neck and spine bristling in response. "Let's end this," both girls decided in unison, their gazes still locked on one another. The bright-hearted Ice-type seemed for once just as serious as the calm-minded Eevee, and both of them slipped off through the crowd together. Destiny called.

"...f-father..." Still clinging to life, the Lopunny extended her hands out to the legendary, groping for some form of comfort only to have the sword embedded in her slim body to be removed carelessly and with no care.
The dark god held the blade aloft and smiled.
In the moment of the Lopunny's 'death' Ivy and Skye slipped out through the crowd, sprinting through the last group of Pokemon before any of the surrounding adults could stop them in their path. Their expressions were equally determined, but Ivy seemed angry, whilest Skye seemed far more resigned to the task at hand. There was nothing else, in their minds, that could be done to stop Darkrai. It was time.

Both Eeveelutions stepped forward with a front paw, placing them side by side and flattening their ears. The moment their feet touched ground, Ivy seemed to grimace a little. "Receive your Judgement, Darkrai!" she exclaimed, lifting her head high as she shouted at the great legend. There was no response from Skye, other than a slight parting of her jaws. Energy swirled around her, making her markings shine as brightly as the gold of Ivy's eyes. The energy quickly consumed them both, a brilliant bolt of energy striking outward toward Darkrai. It was cold as the icy depths of hell, and bright as the morning sun. With a flash of shadowed energy, Darkrai responded, only to be hit square in the chest with the Judgement of the young royals.

ASHES TO ASHES. DUST TO DUST.

And then everything went white. Untouched purity expanded before all the Pokemon present and unveiled before them, the sword hanging from his throat, was Arceus.
Everyone had been healed fully, to some extent or another. Limbs were not regrown but damage had been scarred over.

well done The god's voice rumbled, resonating as a telepathic sound.all has gone as planned
