Upon arriving before the Tower of Origins the guild was immediately set upon by a barrage of Flamethrowers from above.
Solaris' head snapped up to glare at the black figure darting across the sky, the same one that attacked them on Twisted Spire.
"Can't get a break at all!"
"You're surprised? This is the last stand. Eri isn't pulling any punches." Tempest snapped at the Espeon with a grumble before launching a Thunder down onto the speedy dragon.
She was vaguely surprised when it didn't flinch at all and continued to spiral overhead without a care in the world.
"You're kidding me? ********. Try Ice Attacks! Hit the b*****d where it hurts!"

The Holder of the Dragon Relic

Only Super Effective attacks work, which means only ICE can save you here.
Each turn you will roll two 100-sided dice. Whatever you land on for the first dice is the collective damage of all your characters.
You must hit OVER the alloted Health of the enemy to move forward. Each turn the second dice will stand for your speed.
Evens - Enemies Attack Misses.
Odds - Enemies Attack Hits.

Draconas will have a single 10-sided dice. Each roll here will do the appointed damage to ALL of your characters.
(Ex. Draconas gets a 10, all of your characters if you fail your dodge roll take 10 damage.)

Each Character, barring the enemy, has 50HP.

Draconas HP: 1000
-Yes, he's attacking this post because he's a d**k. If you don't roll an even you take damage.

(After a few rounds you have the option of advancing forward with the rest of the guild or staying here to fight Draconas until he is defeated. AT LEAST one person must remain to fight. There are bonus rewards for helping to defeat each Elite.)

Isis + Heimdall + Lilith + Anubis

46/50 + 46/50 + 46/50 + 46/50

The four members of Team Olympus grunted as they each fell on the ground, apparently none of them were used to it and so they found themselves laying face-down covered in soot, "Ugh...I hate teleporting now." Isis said in annoyance.
Anubis nodded, "I think it's something we have to get used too." The Riolu then looked around, where were they? It looked like some sort of towe-

Anubis was then cut off from the rest of the thought as the team got hit by a flame.
Thankfully they managed to dodge some of it so it only really grazed them.
Lilith growled, "What the...Who did tha-" She then saw the enemy, "Oh....crap."

Heimdall muttered something as he started to chant, "You need to use ice type attacks!" The Togepi priest shouted to his team.
Anubis blinked, "What if we have none?" If they couldn't attack...this could turn out to be very dangerous for the rest of them.
Heimdall thought for a bit, "...Then we should just try to dodge and contribute any attack. Prepare...Be safe."
The Togepi was a priest yes, but he didn't want to have to perform any funeral services...
Hopefully not even his own. He then muttered a prayer, hoping that his Wish would help someone.

Anubis frowned, he had no ice attacks what so ever...he then saw more flames coming towards him and used Agility to dodge. This could get dangerous.
If he could do nothing...what could he even do here?

Isis meanwhile frowned at the large dragon type and gathering her energy, she let out a focused Blizzard attack at the enemy.
She could not die here! She would get back to the guild alive after kicking some a**.
Then again, in the stories she read it was always the brave, fool-hardy ones who ended up dying horribly, "...Crap."

Lilith just looked worried, she didn't have that many attacks at her arsenal...only three really.
None of those three were a ice type attack though...
Looking worriedly the Vampkarp decided to blow some Will-o-Wisp flames at the dragon in hope of burning it.
She doubted they would burn it, but better to try it than just float there as a useless target.
Lilith then looked at the floor, she wasn't useless...right? Lilith then felt some energy inside her as she shivered, what was that feeling inside of her?
It felt like...she was changing...
Checking herself she breathed a sigh of relief, nope, nothing at all.

...Huh.

(( Total team damage is 42. Also Heimdall is attempting to use Wish and so on.
If the status attacks are useless then..well...sucks for them. Pfft... ))

"Well, it's too late to go back now." The winter-like poochyena let out a small sigh near moments before Solaris' psychic powers pulled them all away from the guild.
The team hardly had time to look up after the touched the ground, no time to recover from the dizziness the teleport brought, the rest of the guild was already under a massive heat-wave. They drew back and gave small protests as large gusts of wind flew dirt back in their faces, taking the soonest opportunity to gaze up at the sky to find the source of the terror. It was hard to see against the vast, dark tower, but the shape of a large salamance soon made itself apparent, and given the order to attack with ice, the six of them soon knew what to do... Somewhat.
"Aw s**t, It's coming this way!" Jordan barked. Andrew felt the panic strike him immediately. "Everyone get close together!" he ordered. Quickly they all complied. Thomas, easily the most frightened of them all, curled himself together in a defense position while. Arden, a little more calm under the intense pressure, took to the air, willing to risk defending them in the face of fire. "It looks like it's just going to fly by."
"I've got it!" Isanna shouted, jumping at the head. She gathered a growing amount of sky colored crystals and sent the shards after the elite, getting near, but unable to tell whether she hit him or not, or even if he slowed down at all. 'He's too fast!'
With the flamethrower approaching closer to the group, Andrew used Ancient Power to bring up large amounts of earth from the ground in an attempt to block the attack. It wouldn't be enough, though.
The earth managed to block the flamethrower attack momentarily, but in the end, it only sent the fire flying else where and sending rubble all over the place. Though, it did weaken long enough so that Arden would be able to draw the largest gust he could manage in that short amount of time. The attack started sending the harsh winds in pulses in front of the group. It managed to, at least, derail the attack away from the group so that the walked away with only a few stray embers on their skins.
Plan;; Throw Isanna at the giant, rampaging creature and everyone else can hide in the corner. Simple enough, really.

- 19;;
no damage taken.

Ver -- Rufus
46/50 - 46/50

At the sound of the Firetype's name, the duo looked away from one another mid conversation to take note of the Glaceon prancing over. Their expressions differed, though both surprised. Ver's naturally far more familiar than the Chu's. As Ivy grew close, Ver flashed a quick, seemingly off smile before returning his gaze to Rufus, who smiled and nodded before walking off. Just as quickly, Ver's attention returned to Ivy. "Hey. What are you doing here anyway?" it was hard not sound as if he was trying to tell her to step back. Actually he was a bit glad she was here, not that he supported the idea. Ivy was a comforting being. Her attitude was uplifting, though it meant little in such a scenario.
When they were teleported no later, his first response was to jump back in alarm as the guild was greeted by the dragon as if on cue. Though he felt no heat as the assault showered the ground, the Flareon took no hesitation in shoving Ivy back in panic. It was a poor, last minute response in trying to keep her from taking damage. Tempest's warning was well heard though Ver showed no sign of listening; only a quick glance at his teammate bounding about in the distance in attempt to keep safe. Part of him regret Alice not being here. At least she could hold up decent barriers.

Era & Ethfael & Erinn & Riley & Celus & Avaria & Eon & Irilyss
46/50 ~ 46/50 ~ 46/50 ~ 46/50 ~ 46/50 ~ 46/50 ~ 46/50 ~ 46/50

Just as there seemed to be too much time leading up to their departure, so there was scarcely enough time to prepare for the moment wherein they left. One second they were standing together in the Main Hall, spirits somber but determination written on their features, and, before they could blink, their ears were met with the familiar sound of Solaris' Teleport and they had arrived at the Tower of Origins. There wasn't a moment for them to collect their bearings before the sights and sounds of the area rushed at Team MistMelody in a disjointed jumble. An unfamiliar and hostile-looking tower loomed above them forebodingly and the sound of roaring flame as a Flamethrower shot over their heads and immediately into a Team behind them. "Ah! Ahh! Ahhhhh!" Erinn's voice escalated in pitch as he hit the ground in an attempt to evade the blazing hot flames, shivering as he felt the intense heat directly above him. It brought back memories of the deadly fire that had threatened to consume him, the only difference was that there was no-oh Arceus. The Pikachu Guildmaster called out something about Ice attacks and suddenly ice was everywhere. Just like in his nightmarish trip up the Twisted Spire: fire and ice.

Ethfael picked up on Tempest's comment just as soon as Erinn had, albeit to a drastically different reaction. The Dragon Type didn't waste a moment in reacting, conjuring up a veritable maelstrom of Icy Wind upon his breath and sending it coursing toward the Salamence on his way flying past them. He watched the attack mark its course and hit its mark-well, almost. Ideally that would have happened but instead the hostile Dragon seemed to sense the attack's coming. A split second before the blow connected it whipped its head about, shooting a Flamethower through the Icy Wind and all but nullifying the attack. A few stray shards of ice splintered against the Elite's side, but other than that it scarcely did the job that it was intended to. Only adding salt to the wound, Ethfael shortly after realized with a start that the Flamethrower was headed directly for them. "Look out!" the Dragonair said in a muted cry, but his still-dazed companions who hadn't yet adjusted to their surroundings were unable to react quickly enough. In a last ditch attempt to right the situation, the Dragonair used his Agility to swiftly coil around the members of his Team and shield them from the brunt of the attack as the flames rained down.

No one was completely safe from the attack because Ethfael simply couldn't cover every bit of his Team. Regardless of his valiant effort, the flames breached his safety net and burned his companions as well. Rather, they happened to light Celus' fronds and everyone was singed a bit in the ensuing panic. Erinn bunkered down beside the sturdy Ivysaur only to find that his shelter had suddenly burst into the same flames he'd been avoiding. Jumping, he yelped as he was singed and bolted the other way only to run into Avaria and spread the fire to the Legendary. The Shaymin shook her head and stamped out the flames that had begun to smoulder on her leg, then pushed Erinn over to the side to smother his brief fire as well. Even as this happened, Era, Eon, and Riley converged upon Celus to help the stoic Ivysaur kill the fire that ailed him as well, their combined efforts leaving them all slightly singed but not terribly worse for the wear. As Ethfael uncoiled himself to view the mayhem he made sure that each was alright, sighing with relief to find them mostly unharmed. Noting the Dragonair's look of concern Avaria grinned at him rougishly. "We won't die that easily," the Shaymin said with an easy laugh, "Come on now, there's more to him than what we've done already, our battle's not nearly won yet!"

Victor - Harumi - Aiden - Doku - Maxi
46/50 - 46/50 - 46/50 - 46/50 - 46/50

Harumi sat there in the Main Hall, just waiting for the task ahead to start. A chill suddenly went up her spine as she heard the voice of her mother, as well as the soft gentle tone of her older sister. "Skye... You really shouldn't be here, you're not a fighter..." The Eevee said softly. "You and Mom should have left." Harumi felt herself becoming even more like her father with that last sentence. Harumi herself knew she wasn't much of a fighter, but like her father was doing for her, she felt the need to protect the more feminine members of her family.

Doku, however, was not as welcoming to the pair of females. As soon as he saw his mate and eldest daughter arrive, his eyes widened with horror. "No! You two leave, now! I will not put my entire family at risk!" He shouted rather sternly. Doku wasn't mean, anybody who had ever known him knew that. But if he had to turn on the anger in order to protect his family, he sure as hell would. "Leave now, before Solaris-..."

- - - - -

"...-Teleports us!" Doku blinked a bit after he finished his shouting, looking around for a moment. "... s**t..." He was too late, they had already been transported to the battlefield. The Leafeon glanced up as Flamethrower attacks began to rain down on the group. "Take cover!"

Sadly, there wasn't enough of a warning for all of the Pokemon in Doku's vicinity. Doku, Maxi, and Harumi's entire team found themselves knocked away as a Flamethrower brushed right past them, giving them all a bit of a searing of the skin, but nothing too extensive for the moment. "Arc'dammit! Harumi, Skye, stay back! Don't even try to attack that thing!" The Leafeon hissed as he shook off a bit of charred foliage from his body.

Maxi, Victor, and Aiden were already on what they felt to be the most important. None of them had any Ice Attacks that could do damage to the Salamence, so all three of them stood around Skye and Harumi to keep them safe. The young, black-furred Eevee looked at the three Pokemon, biting her lip. They were all risking themselves just to protect herself and her sister... her eyes glanced over as Aiden looked back at them, cracking a rather charming, pearly-white smile. "Can't let anything happen to those pretty faces before they even get the chance to blossom~"

(( -0, no Ice attacks. ))

ImitiqwertOliverqwertyChuck
46/50qwert46/50qwertyui46/50

"Get DOWN!" Not half a second after they arrived by teleportation, Imiti noticed the pillar of fire aimed directly at his team from the sky. Chuck and Oliver had no time to react, so he gave each a telekinetic shove out of the way. That left himself, directly in the path of the flames. With an Alakazam's innately unimpressive physical strength, he probably couldn't dodge in time. Thus, to minimize the damage he put up a barrier to absorb the initial brunt of the blast, then teleported out of the way of the rest. He still received a singe, but if he'd taken a superpowered Flamethrower directly to the face he would've died instantly. Extending a psychic hand into his pack, he retrieved one of the many TMs he'd never bothered to use. He tossed the Blizzard TM to Chuck, telling him to "Make yourself useful. Bring him down before he can attack again!"

Chuck tried the new attack, shivering as a deeply unpleasant cold sensation went through him. He grimaced as a gust of arctic wind launched itself at the Salamence. Ice type Pokemon could probably use a move like that without trouble; as a Fire type, he'd rather not do that if he didn't have to.

Oliver launched a volley of fist-sized ice balls at the dragon. Most missed. There were some that found their mark, but they were affected by gravity and didn't really seem to do much at all. If only he could actually get close enough to hit the thing with any power...

"Imiti, teleport me up there."

"What?"

"I need to get near it, I can't do anything from here."

"A-alright then." If anyone else had told him to, Imiti would've flatly refused. He knew, though, that if nothing else Oliver was quite hard to kill. Thus, one teleport later, Imiti was floating just above the Salamence and Oliver had continued the honoured tradition of Jumping Onto The Backs Of Dangerous Creatures To Hit Them.

Skye & Zori
-50/50- -Invincibility Stone-

Skye opened her mouth to object, her ears flat at the injustice of it. She had as much right to be here as Harumi. Regardless of how well she really fought, the chance to fight for her world was as much her destiny as it was Harumi's. What her mother had told her seemed to make the difference, for Skye. She didn't feel like a weakling, like a delicate flower who held no real place on their team. Finally she could earn the rank she'd inherited. Doku's words were just as harsh, biting at her pride without the chance given to argue or respond. As it turned out, she didn't have to; both the expression of her mother and Solaris' Teleport cutting them off before they could breathe another word in response.

- - - - -

Zori flattened her leafy ears, eyes wide with surprise as she hissed at the Dragon-type circling high overhead. She could hear Doku yelping out commands and warnings almost immediately, and Zori didn't waste the time it took to heed them. Within moments, she was free of the scatching flames. Around her, she could hear the sudden cries of fury and pain as the balls of fire struck earth around them. Without hesitation, she leaped forward, already knowing that the pendant 'round her neck would likely save her life. The others hadn't noticed the difference, from her usual Soothe Globe, to the round, glowing stone she carried now. She could only hope it would do the trick.

She allowed her breathing to slow, despite the fast-paced movements, streams of super-chilled air and ice spilling from her throat as the Blizzard took form. The icy winds whipped around her like a galestorm, rising ever higher into the sky. Her eyes glowed brightly, the energy sparking and shining through her golden markings as she somehow managed to contain and control the sheer force of the attack. She could feel the icy chill spreading in her throat and chest, the frost spreading to the tips of her leaves, forming minute, deadly crystals of ice that only continued to build. It stung her lungs, making it hard to breathe as she continued to force more of the attack out into the open air. It was a powerful move, lashing out at the Dragon-type above them and slashing clean through the defenses around it. Ice sheeted its wings for a fleeting moment, the very warmth stolen from the air, and only returning as it fired off another fireball; one that Zori cleanly dodged. She finally relinquished control, the final gusts of the storm tearing apart the tiny icicles that had formed in the air.

She glanced back to her mate, golden eyes bright with adrenaline and determination. "Doku, take cover and stay low! I've got this." the Leafeon called back to her violet-leaved companion. "I'll be fine," she added, the smooth, glassy stone around her neck seeming to glow with her words. Nothing would stand in her way, today.

- - - - -

Skye, too, had somehow managed to avoid being hit. She heard Harumi and the others cry out, twisting to see if they were alright, and found herself very roughly jolted into the center of a protective circle. She bit back a defensive growl, instead settling for keeping her ears pinned flat against her skull. Heat fanned across her face at Aiden's words, dark eyes widening at the statement. Was this really the time to flirt? She supposed he didn't have much else to do, considering that he was making himself a living shield. The logic of their manouver seemed to fail her, at that moment, and the smaller, but older Eevee split the noise around them with a voice of her own. "We're safer on the move; static targets are easier to strike!" she warned, leaving them only with the wisdom of her words as she darted straight under and out of the circle, diving between Aiden's longer legs and sprinting into the open.

The shock of what she'd just done had yet to set in, and she'd gone for the slowest of the three males for a reason. She didn't want to be caught. A Frost Breath swirled around her jaws as she felt the strength surge through her small frame. It wasn't a strong enough attack to reach as high as the Dragon-type was, she quickly realized, instead focusing on letting the attack strength build in her system. It made her feel odd to do so, but she knew that she'd just have to get used to the sensation. Before she'd left home the night before, to reach the summit of that mountain, she'd taken something. More than one something, in truth. She had a pretty diverse, over-powered moveset, now. She just hoped that her body could handle the strain.

The weight of the ice attacks that seethed and showered across the Salamence's wings drew it earthward, and she finally released the super-chilled ice from her throat. It froze solid on the tips of her fur, giving her an eerie, metallic sheen in the golden glow of the embers around her. It spread through flames, snuffing out the fire that remained in her vicinity and clung tight to the Dragon-type's skin. Within a few moments, the attack was over, leaving a tense Eevee below, dark eyes still watching about her for any signs of a counter attack; she wasn't in the mood to burn to death.

Another blast of ice from nearby shook the air, and Skye flattened herself low to the ground, watching in awe as her mother let loose another attack. They both knew only one Ice-based attack, but hers was certainly the more powerful. Blizzard was a strong technique; devastatingly so. She was more than a little proud of her family, at that moment, though the sudden sound of flurried footsteps behind her informed her of the approaching Umbreon at her back. She was able to turn in time to face Aiden as he caught up, the crystalline droplets of ice still clinging to her fur.

( Saraph & Alaisdair & The Raven & GOOP & Ravi & Jo(e)y )
( 48/46 --- 46/46 --- 46/46 --- 46/46 --- 46/46 --- 46/46 )

"AAAAAAAH" The rather girlish scream upon entry prompted the team to become aware of what was now going on. Saraphs head jerked up, the moment he caught sight of the flamethrower he tried to cast a barrier around his teammates. Alas, it didn't work, the flames proved faster than he was and while it helped abit, everyone felt the pain. And, to their side they saw a strange thing. As the fire dispelled, it left a man in its place...or, rather, it left a Furret in its place.

Black where the creme was supposed to be and magenta where the brown was, he was a little oddity in his own. When he saw eyes on him, he gave a toothy grin, those teeth of his white and gleaming. On one ear, an earring sort of thing, though it looked rather...odd to say the least. His stature was another thing, he seemed rather large for a Furret as well. What was he doing hanging around them now? "Ah, seems like I messed up" he cocked his head to the side, "no matter then, I will just be on my way then"

With a flick of the tail, all of the black furred parts of his body began to vanish, the magenta ones soon after. Joy scratched his head, "Wut n' tarnashun..." he mumbled, looking at the empty spot now. Saraph looked on, "...ignore that, then. Lets see, how are we gonna fight this thing again..." the hybrid looked at Draconas pensively, they could try a more organized approach, but they needed an ice attack. Now, where were they-

"Haha, pew pew pew!" Joy, having dropped Alaisdair, now held Goop under his arm. The Audino pulled on the front appendage on top of the Shellos's head, causing the water types mouth to jerk open and throw out weak Mud Bombs everywhere. "Joey would you please stop that, you're making a mess and this is a rather dire situation we're in" The audino looked over, staring at Saraph for a moment before tugging at Goops appendage again. "Pew" another mud bomb shot out, hitting Saraph in the face. This seemed to please Goop, The shellos looking up at Joy with a grin on his face. The Audino as well tried to hold back a laugh, this was entertainnig to say the least. Saraph grumbled, his whole body setting on fire, drying and cracking the mud before letting it fall on the ground. Damn the both of them!

Joy tugged on the appendage at the top again, though this time once his mouth opened nothing came out. He tried again, nothing. "Shoot, its outta ammo" He pat Goops side, the Shellos merely burped. Well if this didn't suck...well, there were three more of these to try out, now what happened if he pulled the one on the bottom...

Joy gave it a gentle tug, Goops neck sticking out straight as his body flattened. His mouth opened up, a beam of ice shooting out fast and at Draconas. The force of it, in fact, was enough to push Joy back. The audino looked at him now, a grin spreading across his face. "Now we're talkin'!" he said, bursting into laughter. Saraph just shook his head, buncha idiots.

Fredrick clung to Louvells side, his eyes wide with fear. "HOLD ME LOUIE!" he squealed, staring at the oncoming flamethrower. "What? No, what, you're like...psychic right? Go do that thing with your barriers and stuff" the flames on his back spread, forcing the Gothorita to let go. If theres one thing Louvell didn't like, it was being touched. Fredrick whined as he looked up at the flamethrowers, "B-but I'm too scared to heeeelp and- ack!" The flamethrower finally reached them, striking him on his butt.

Of all things to hit, not his gorgeous a**!

Louvell grumbled, and he looked over to his side. "Senka, you okay?" he had to make sure she most of all was able to get through this. Ren would have his head. She raised her hand, the one that wasn't holding the walking stick. "I'm fine, I'm fine, I can handle myself. You guys just focus on getting rid of that thing." The poochyena flicked his ear, she was too stubborn for her own good. A pokemon, half blinded and half broken, should know better than to come to something like this when there was a chance to escape. Alas, she wouldn't be convinced otherwise, and now he had to pick up the slack. She was strong, but she wasn't Super'mon.

"Ah, Louie, wait!" Fredrick right hand was glowing, "Here, let me help you help everyone" "Whozza wha?" What...what? Okay, they needed ice, how was a dog on fire gonna help them get ice? The Gothorita touched the fire types forehead, and Louvells eyes opened up wide. He felt...weird on this inside, was that what it felt like to be cold? He didn't like it, he didn't like it at all, and he just wanted to throw it out!

He his the ground with his front paws, snow spewing out as a strange wind carried it forwards, whipping it at the dragon. Blizzard, except for the part where everyone around him wasn't affected. He was glad that the heat was enough to keep him and his companions warm.

He looked over at Fredrick now, the Gothorita grinning. "What did you doooooooo"

It wasn't hard for Zero to find his little sister's party -Incultyr was hard to miss- and the Glaceon was able to join them before a Teleport took them all. When they arrived they did not expect to be attacked immediately. Morana was the most susceptible to the effects of Teleportation, despite having undergone many in the past years and could not react.

Fortunately, the fire that rained down did nothing against her fireproof fur, and the Houndoom quickly regained her senses as she absorbed the heat of the first of the flamethrowers, standing her ground to prepare a counterattack.

Zero's reaction to the attack was a little more alarmed, being ice type and all, and the Glaceon immediately brought a barrier up around him at the first sense of fire. He extended it to Veritas who was crouched beside him, and it partially covered Incultyr who didn't seem to be affected by the flames much at all. It would take more than that to take down a Tyrannitar.

---

Team Azalea's response was not dissimilar to Team Polaris's. They were caught offguard by such a suddenly barrage of attacks. Atra's natural response cuased his body temperature to skyrocket, causing Melissa to jump away from him in alarm. She did not react as fast as the more battle-worn Flareon, but as a flamethrower slammed into them the flames simply rolled protectively off the barrier Hope encompassed them with.

The Jirachi, at least, was prepared.

"Be careful!" Hope warned, sounding scared as her eyes carefully scanned the battlefield, ready to go to the aid of anyone who might need it.

---

Suicune was more than a little disoriented by the teleportation, having never really experienced it before. However, she recovered fast enough when she realized they were already under attack. The Suicune reflexively dodged the first flamethrower aimed at her, the fire splashing harmlessly against the ground she was very soon nowhere near.

Suicune shot an Aurora Beam into the sky, using the trajectory of the missed attack to guess where her opponent as; she wasn't taking the time to aim and shoot- she was going to make sure she used her speed as an advantage and keep on the move until she was sure what they were up against. She could feel the massive amount of energy in the area- this was not going to be an easy fight.

(-4 damage from Suicune's fail-miss. Trying to post while figuring out difficult chemistry problems and talking with someone about video games on voice chat is incredibly hard.)

User Image Welp, here they were, at the base of a gigantic tower dodging and breaking formation under the siege of wildly aimed flamethrower attacks. The trails of blazing flamed through the air scorched the grounds and scattered the guildians in the same fashion any skilled hunter would take down their prey if it were in such large numbers. Finian, for this moment, focused his efforts on dodging, and that he did. He knew there was a long fight to be had ahead of him and he 'ought not to waste any energy on the enemy that would cost him to be put in harms way in return. With lithe movements and utilizing the base of the tower as a shield of sorts against the fiery fury from above, it wasn't long before the Absol got his well deserved opening. Many around him were already falling victim to the scorching rows of flames, but none that he can see so direct on that they had caused fatality yet. All those around him were skilled fighters; he trusted the lot with his well being. They had his back if the worst came about and he had utmost faith in this fact. Taking a fighting stance and risking the ability to be on his feet and out of the line of fire at a moment's notice, the Absol took to summoning a Blizzard attack. The enemy before him was clearly no ordinary Salamence. That at least he would have a fighting chance in downing even on his own. No, this thing was significantly larger and taking the rest of his fellow guildmembers' attacks like they were nothing. His Blizzard was expected to have the same fate. His attempt nonetheless started out with the formation of ice crystals slowly but surely in the air around him. Beginning with a natural collection of condensation as if he were conjuring one of his storm based attacks; the element-manipulating Absol focused his efforts from there to dropping the temperature of the immediate air around him. Once the snowy shards produced and levitating in the air around him were satisfactory, just on the verge of falling to the ground and shattering, a brisk wind picked up from behind the canine and swept his attack upwards in the direction of the airborne enemy. Just in time to meet with a flamethrower, the lot of his attack did not come in contact with its target, but at least it succeeded in blocking the line of fire from coming anywhere near him. Very little of the blizzard got past for that matter, resulting in the poor damage output which was still better than his originally expected failure. He staggered with signs of already oncoming fatigue, but was quick to regain his balance with a jolt of adrenaline. It was going to take nothing less than an Elite to down him now and he was confident in as much. If he was destined to fall in the course of today; he is damn well going to be giving his best when it happens. The slightest bit of a smirk made itself apparent in the corner of Finian's face; it wasn't often that he allowed himself to enjoy a battle, but when such a time came he could prove to be a bloodthirsty hound. Such motivation as an urge to rip that damn dragon's neck to shreds with his own maw was well appreciated in this moment and would keep him fighting all the harder. He couldn't help but feel himself overcome by an ominous sense that this was only the beginning; there were many more trials ahead of them from here on out and this here was just a taste of what lied ahead.

Tolin & Charles & Serrin

Curious but amused, Tolin watched the scene between Raith and Archer unfold. Serrin walked into the hall, ready and easily seen among the crowd. A brief nod was all the two shared as the teleport consumed both them and the scene.

***

As the fire rained down, the trio was quick to get ready. They were used to this, they had been long since. For Tolin and Serrin, battle was their home. Not that that meant much, after all, first and foremost because there wasn't anything they could do against a massive, flying enemy. Normally it would be plausible enough to simply fly up and kill whatever the problem was, but, that obviously wouldn't be an effective strategy. Serrin had no method to attack that high and Tolin didn't fancy that his limited arsenal would do much good either against something like that or at such a high range. Secondly, of course, was the barrier that popped up above the three of them that diffused the flames that came in contact with it. The Mew simply smiled as he let the barrier drop and quickly followed up with an ice beam. "I hope to see you at the top, Scyther. Let's see what you can do."

Tolin didn't have anything to say to that, though silently enough he was thankful that the Mew had decided to take an interest in things for once. He, instead, took the time to survey the field and get a better idea of what exactly was going on. People were left scrambling by the sudden attack and the retaliation from the guilds was weak relative to their numbers and a lot of people were getting hurt quickly, but thankfully the damage itself wasn't significant. At least, not as much as it could have been; the attack was light. It didn't have a lot of weight. That was good. Hopefully it would continue to be a trend.

Hiro --- Electra
46/50 --- 46/50

Soon after Hiro was teleported once more and now to a straight battle field! "Aw crap!" he yelped as a Flamethrower burst past him. Well this was a pleasant start. Five seconds and he wa already beaten silly by a dragons flame. He couldn't reach it sadly so he'd just be target practice.

"Sonovah!" Electra cried out. She was a bug so it was super effective, twice as much damage. She hissed angrily at the dragon before she decided to attack. The large Espeon said to try Ice attacks but this was the best she had. With that she sent a web, filled with electricity towards the dragon in the form of Electroweb.

Hiro noted the Galvantula. She looked stronger and looked like a civilian. He'd try to recruit her after this if he had the chance. But now he'd focus on not dying and survival. You know, important stuff.

{{ Friendly note from Lunatalia: We are disregarding super effective damage for this chapter, as a side note. What is rolled on the dice is the damage you take. }}

AlouraLavicus ♣ Crimson ♦

50/5050/5050/50

{{Damage Delt: -10}}

It had not been long after Lavicus spoke when the not quite familiar crackle of a teleport engulfed the room, sweeping up all the pokemon in the vicinity and depositing them into a chamber of hellfire. Upon arrival, the team of three was not granted so much as the span of a heartbeat to gain their bearings before the world was bathed in the harsh red-orange of firelight. Everywhere there was heat, almost tangible in it's force, demanding the very air to writhe on puppet strings; rippling in tortured, desperate billows under the hand of  its harsh master.

Temporarily dazed by the sudden burst of light and dizzied by the vast intake of hot air, it was a wonder that the team of three accomplished the simple task of standing upright in the first few moments of their arrival. This is nothing to say of actually dodging frenzied attacks from a source the team had yet failed to even identify. On the off occasion, however, a miracle will present itself.

"Move!" Lavicus shouted, tackling Aloura roughly out of harms way, Crimson veering sharply in the opposite direction. The entangled team leaders had yet to brush the ground before a flamethrower ripped wickedly through the spot they had just stood. A second longer and they'd have been as good as dead. It was only by sheer luck that the attack had come as late as it had. Needless to say, it was an uncomfortable sensation knowing that the only thing that had stood between your life and your death had been as a fickle a patron as lady luck.

Given the erratic patterns in which their foe generously gifted them with bouquets of blossoming flame, they were granted no time to contemplate their near demise nor the other numerous near-demise experiences that followed. It was do or die and they three would much rather avoid the later. They would stand their ground and fight, but they were no martyrs. They were not planning to leave this world just yet if they could help it.

By the time team Snow Hushed had gained their bearing enough to take two breaths between dodging certain death, the flygon and her leaders had danced to opposite sides of the field. There was no doubt that the spry dragon-ground type could hold her own, considering the skill she had on Lavicus and Aloura either one, and yet.... yet, the absol still felt responsible for the livid tempered pokemon. She was a member of her team, and, after all was said and done, her responsibility. Should anything happen to her it would only add to the debt team Snow Hushed owed it's newest member. One it already had no hope of ever repaying. There was nothing to be about it done now, the debt and the distance either one; They could not change the past and it would be a waste of energy they did not have and a risk they could not afford to attempt to close the gap between them. For now, Crimson would have to manage on her own.

In the meantime, Aloura had something entirely new to concern herself with. In the initial chaos, the call for ice attacks had fallen on deaf ears as far as she and hers were concerned. As the guild members began to let loose ice attacks one by one, however, she required no further urging to join the fray. "Lavicus." she barked in as harsh a tone as she had ever used, "Be as my eyes." The serpent, useless as far as the element of ice was concerned, nodded his head sharply and grunted in acknowledgment. Truthfully, he was somewhat surprised that the soft spoken and softer mannered absol was taking such decisive action, but this was no time to be awed. Doing as she said, the seviper guarded Aloura's back jealously, guiding her deftly away from torrents of flame as she concentrated on building her attack. The swirling air around her grew frigid and laced with shard of ice, forming the impression of a pale wintery aura around the pokemon. "Where." she demanded, her blue eyes as alight as the flames. Lavicus flicked his tail at their target, a salamence the snake had identified by now, though, knowing his leader, she hadn't the faintest of what that was. It was unimportant. What mattered was that their adversary was flying fast and relatively low, near enough to give Aloura a chance to hit.

Disdaining the very notion of hesitation, the absol gathered her frost about her and hurled it straight at the dragon type in a torrent of Icy Wind only to have the attack fall short. The slamence  was moving to fast. Snarling in frustration, she bound forward, releasing another breath of winter, this time far ahead of her foe. She was lucky in that her opponent did not swerve away from the attack, but she had regardless follied again- this time aiming the attack too far before her target. She had, at the very least, the satisfaction of seeing the beast fly through the last remnants of the Icy Wind. Not as strong a blow as she'd have liked, not by a far throw, but unless the Arceus damned creature was invincible, it hadn't been for nothing. Beyond the meager damage done, the move unfailingly rewarded the sufferer with a loss of speed which the salamence could stand to loose. This was all, however, provided that the thing suffered from status changes to begin with.

If it did not, then Crimsons efforts would have been for naught. All but useless with no ice move to speak of, the flygon had been doing as best she could with literally nothing more than the dirt off the ground. Sliding and dodging between the myriad of attack with lithe grace and luck at her side, she had taken up the task scooping great handfuls of dirt from the ground and flying fearlessly near the foe as she could manage to deposit the grit in repeated Sand Attacks. It was a basic move, and far from impressive, but it was better in her eyes than dodging about with nary a better thing to do. She was tempting fate sorely, and most would say it was for a foolish cause. But she could not simply sit back and watch. It was something that she, needless to say, was ill accustomed to.
