It was the day directly after the first Horsemen trials, and all was relatively calm; some students were still going on about what had happened with the Trial of Famine while others were excited about the upcoming Trial of War... However, as they walked along the corridor of the school, students might hear whispers of certain... Rumors.
OOC: -> If your character does not have technology/can't use technology, YOU CAN HAVE HELP. For example, if she/he has a friend who has a laptop/skelephone, they can share. Obviously, that must be a trusted friend to be so close to each other!
-> Roll 4d4. -> RP out a reaction from the prompt below. For example, if I got (1,2,3,4) as my roll, I would RP my student hearing about "a student organization", "no way silly humans can fight back", "maybe a chance to stand up for my beliefs is what I need right now" before flying off to her room on a broom. -> After that, just sign up for Seeds ICly.
Dice 1 1 : "They say that there's a student organization..." 2 : "Hunters aren't real, right..." 3 : "Have you heard of this secret society..." 4 : "The Trials don't seem so hard..."
Dice 2 1 : "... ran solely by students alone..." 2 : "... there's no way silly humans can fight back, right..." 3 : "... I heard that they're rather radical..." 4 : "... we need the Horsemen's protection..."
Dice 3 1 : "... they say that if you believe, you'll get invited to the club!" 2 : "... I want to have a fighting chance, just in case!" 3 : "... but maybe a chance to stand up for my beliefs is what I need right now." 4 : "... But more importantly, we need to protect ourselves!"
Dice 4 1/2 : An old article from the School newspaper catches your eye, and you realize that the face on the unmentionables model is that of your Headmistress - there's something weird about that, right?! Perhaps it's time to visit the website of that "Unmentionables" website... -> Website leads to a place to input skelephone number and name. -> OOCly, apply here. 3/4 : You do/have something only a Halloweener (and not an imposer) can - floating, flying, walking through walls, fading, a talking familiar - and the next day, receives a letter in your room, in an obvious place... -> Letter directs you to a website to input skelephone number and name before burning away into nothing; it was charmed. -> OOCly, apply here.
[I'm borrowing your idea, Zoo. 8D;
If you are already in Seeds, you could ICly bring a friend for a casual stroll down the corridor, if you know what I mean. ;D Just try to get people to join, ilu all. <3]

"The Trials don't seem so hard..."
Ahah. Haaahaaahahaa. Mort could still feel aches where he shouldn't, sand where the beach should not have touched. And the suction cups on the kraken's tentacle sucking on his face where no such thing should be sucked.
"... I heard that they're rather radical..."
His ears probably were plugged too, the way he could only hear bits and pieces of conversation around him. Plus, well, he didn't feel at his best to begin with, walking all zombie-like in every sense of the word. Who was radical? Amityville? The Horsemen? The Hunters? Boogeymen? Maybe they were all radical in their own fashion . . .
"... But more importantly, we need to protect ourselves!"
Now this, this could perk his attention some. Mort was of accord with the statement, but when he turned to see who spoke it, the voice had melded back with the others. But it was a good reminder, knowing the bulk of the students were still together in the fight against the reapers; at least for the zombie, it had been easy enough to forget, what with the trials, several personal things, the tech projects, working on some homebrew PreC programming . . .
And just as he turned the corner, a piece of newspaper slapped him across the face. D:fgjldkfjglksdjfglksjfg for a little bit, he ripped it off only to find that . . . Professor Shox? He only recognized her from the portrait hung in one of the offices, but . . . wtf wat is this i dont even.
Unmentionables. School principle.
It was . . . What. He had to investigate. And not just for the slkjfldkjflksdjflsdj of it.
Sad to say, Mort was . . . a little interested in what Shox had to offer in the way of unmentionables.

"Have you heard of this secret society..."
Aleria thought nothing of it, at first, the whispering voices in the hall, because it was before their curiosity could really set in. After all, there were THINGS to be learned...classes to go. Notes to write and rewrite, colour coded and everything.
"... we need the Horsemen's protection..."
The demon knew, vaguely, what the Horsemen were, but was...intrigued. Why did they NEED the protection? Were they in danger...?
"... I want to have a fighting chance, just in case!"
...A fighting chance against...what?
And then, a few days later, the paper catches their eye. It is strange, really, to see the headmistress there...well.
One thing led to another, and if there was one thing about Aleria, it's that they grabbed onto something like a worn down ghost dog with an equally ghostly bone.
So the demon applied. There was an application and everything.

It was like any other day, really, until Taryn heard something that chilled her to the core.
"Hunters aren't real, right...?"
Clearly, someone hadn't been to the haunted house. Someone hadn't seen the humans, all dressed in uniforms, systematically slaughtering innocent students. It angered her to hear such ignorance.
"... there's no way silly humans can fight back, right..."
The average human? Perhaps not. These humans, though, had had enormous glowing weapons with strange powers. There had been stories of teams of humans taking out a monster or two... but these...
"... but maybe a chance to stand up for my beliefs is what I need right now."
...what was that? That sounded... interesting. A search for the source, however, led Taryn nowhere. Jack damn it all.
However, a mysterious note appeared on her desktop the next day, and she was led to a place like she had never seen before.

Time for class, time for class. Tomoko had met up with Jack in the demon dorms and had decided to tag along with him to one of the classes of the day. However, chatter in the hallway that day was unusual to her. The kitsune's ears perked up as she walked along the hallway.
"They say that there's a student organization..." someone was whispering as she went past, causing Tomoko to look up at the demon boil with a curious look, one of her ears twitching slightly as she looked to him as though for confirmation of this face.
"... we need the Horsemen's protection..."
"That's kind of true for the school..." Tomoko whispered to him in a hush, squeezing on his arm with a frown. If Amityville got the protection of the Horsemen, would they be safe from getting shut down like they had been a few months ago? It had been close.
Still...
"... I want to have a fighting chance, just in case!"
A fighting chance against what?
The hunters?
Tomoko wasn't exactly sure about that. She didn't want to fight the humans. She wanted to do nice little things like the nice DETH people and such. That had seemed pleasant to her. Never the less, it was never a bad time to be informed - as the newspaper would prove to her with a rather interesting newspaper article left out.
She looked to Jack again.
"Should we look into it?"

Jack, himself had started hearing the snaps of whispering, his glowing eyes lidding softly as they flicked between the conversations, the ends of everything catching up with him. Feeling the ghouls gaze on him - and the squeeze on his arm - he leaned down in to a bit of a crouch, one ear closer to her as she whispered softly amid the conversations.
"It seems to be common mentality, at the least." Jack murmured in reply to her, his voice barely over a rumble in this throat. Even he knew that the school had fallen on bad times while he was gone - reading papers and hearing the conversations breathing through the schoolgrounds kept Jack up to date, but he felt he was always grasping at straws for more information when he could.
Turning down to Tomoko, his eyebrows raised when she asked him about looking in to it. "I have no qualms against it, Tomo, if you are interested in furthering our information gathering - I find it super interesting, to say the least."
