Race: Nova - A species that resembles both the feline [cat] and canidae [fox/vulpes] families in the animal kingdom. They have distinct features and body structure such as; large almond shaped eyes, long feathered like ears, slim body, and a long skinny tail with a large feather at the end. Some have wings, other horns, or (in rare cases) they can be seen in the ocean too. Their large eyes are used mostly for night vision or hunting in think under brush. Their large ears help them track down small prey (birds, mice, insects, and lizards) or help keep they out of harms way when it comes to larger predators. They are omnivores by nature, but in various areas they have adapted to either eating local plant life or hunting larger prey and thriving on meat only. Each one has a jewel on their forehead that they are born with. They come in many colors, but it's usually used to attract a mate, but only the truly gifted can be able to use some form of magic based on where they were born.
Natural Ability: Information Gathering - Able to learn and pick up on information or when in a fight. Ex. Types of fears and how they are used to the opponents advantage.
Personality: Ever seen a cat go crazy after cat n** or when they chase a laser pointer around. This is the equivalent of a crazy fur ball with tons of energy and love for everyone. Kekoa is pretty much like a kitten only with out the constant meowing or begging for attention. Alright, scratch that. He'll be wanting attention even if it's from someone who's not wanting to give it to him.
Spazz
Here one minute and somewhere else the next. His attention usually is a short one unless you give him an ear scratch or a snack then be wary since he won't leave. If just need someone to talk for hours, he's your little nova. He goes on and on about the littlest things such as: his favorite colors, his favorite snacks, maybe something he ate not too long ago, a bug he saw on his way to class, or complete nonsense about his wardrobe. He'll talk a mile a minute unless you can interrupt him before he makes you want to tear your eyes out or pull out your hair.
Up-Close
He's not afraid to get into someone's face if he knows he can get that ear scratch or a tiny snack. If you have spookies or chocolate, beware of him possible getting into your bag and taking it. He's very much a lap boil, but doesn't care for gender or species as long as he gets something. He'll carry books or do your homework just for the attention he could get later on in the day. He's like a dog, with following you from place to place. The only real way to get him to go on his way is to make him bored.
Determind
Kekoa will not give up and that's a good thing if you're in a tight pinch. He's quite athletic when it comes to swimming, climbing, or possibly brute ball. If he doesn't get something the first time or the second, you'll see him run in circles then try the same thing again. It may get tiresome, but it's one of his good qualities as a friend. The bad thing would be when he's trying to ask a ghoul or boil out and ends up getting rejected. He will practically be their slave until he learns that he can either move on or just keep on trying to win their heart.
SHINY
Never, and I mean NEVER leave anything that would catch his interest in plain sight. He'll try to take it for his collection or just play with it until you demand for it back. Coins or some trinkets are mostly what catches his eye. Just like a kitten, he's curious and could beg like a dog for it. Don't be afraid to tell him no.
Family, what's that?
Most Nova are left to fend for themselves after their eyes have open. They do come back to their mother after they have found a mate, but they could be attacked if not recognized. Kekoa never really knew his mother, but he always keeps something close to him that he was given before leaving the den. A braided bracelet with a piece of amber in the middle. It has a leaf inside that was frozen in time from tree sap long ago.
