I looked over the ocean one morning,
And it was there that I saw my true love;
Over the ocean that morning,
I know that that is where she is;
Over the ocean I see her,
Her hair is black like the night;
Over the ocean she’s waiting,
Her green eyes bright in the morning;
Over the ocean that dear morning,
I saw the girl of my dreams!
If i continued to add to this, do you think that this would be good as a poem or a song?
