Buddy Bonding Town Trips!
Maybe set up times for all buddies getting together in the towns and getting to mingle and such
Dress Like Your Buddy Week
Title says it all, for one week you and your buddy have the same avatar ^_^

Maybe we could have subforums? Like crew chat, chatterbox, contests etc?
And I think rules topic should at least be a sticky

And I think rules topic should at least be a sticky
I had been thinking about contests.. We have one going for the 100th member joining, they get a cool prize. But as for contest for people already in the guild I still need some ideas on what to do.. Della_M gave me an idea with the dress like your buddy thing. Maybe we could do a contest for which buddies have the coolest outfits or something like that? :3

instead it being a regular post, you make it a sticky... it's one of the options at the bottom of the post when you're first putting it up or editing it after.

Well, sticky is a type of topic. The topics here are all normal.
When you post a topic as sticky, it means, that it stays on the top of the list.. you can choose the type of topic, when you first create it or you can click on the edit button
As you can see, there is another option called announcement. This type of topic stays on top of stickys.
So the order is: announcements on the top, then stickys and then normal topics... Here's a screenie from my guild's forum:

Contests ideas: - how about people will enter a specific category and dress up in that fashion. xxxx example(s): xxxxxx - Nerd xxxxxx - Monster xxxxxx - rich person xxxxxx - ect. you know? And at the end of the week, or however long, whoever has the most votes win something or a certain amount of gaia gold. - How about an idea that lets everyone get gold depending on how many people they get to join the guild. To prove that they got someone to joined, the person who joined would have to give their gaian username. xxxx example: xxxxx - Someone joins a thread and says that I asked them to join and so after I had a "x" number of people join, I'd get a prize. However, you'll have to have a banner in your signature to the guild. They'd also have to keep track of how many people they got to join the guild. xxxx suggestion: I'd keep the number relatively high, that way they would scam the guild and so it'd keep to those who really want the guild to get popular. Twin Buddies Contest: - I merely referenced this idea from the "dress like your buddy" idea. It's obvious! Those who dress alike AND has the most unique style wins the prize with the most votes. -------------------------------------------------------------------- These are just ideas though. sweatdrop

All great ideas! 3nodding The next contest in the making is actually called FashionBuddies, you described exactly what it is xD It's you and your buddy coming up with either unique look-a-like outfits, or themed outfits. I like your idea about seeing who can get the most members!
