Nishiko put on the Kage guise and sat in the office chair. Her face hidden by the hat's shroud. "Are you going to be leaving us for a while?" She asked flatly.

Two shinobi burst through the door to the Raikage's tower and pushed their way through the crowded building and up to the interrogation chamber. Doors opened before them, and were promptly locked behind them as they dragged the unconscious body to a safe and secure location.

The head of the Kumogakure special ops entered the Raikage's office and delivered the news. "There has been an incident." He dropped to one knee and waited for the faux Raikage to respond.

"What the hell is going on?" Shouted Natsumi, forgetting her resolve and role. Her hands shook, though she took care to keep them from view. She was supposed to be in charge of Kumo while Nagisa was away. "Why now?!"

"The village gate. The guards have been massacred. The attacker left one survivor who we have in an interrogation cell." As he spoke, the shinobi put a great deal of effort in keeping his voice calm. He was trained to conceal all emotion. However, for the first time since he earned his mask, he found himself unable to control his expression. He was glad he had the mask.

"Why the hell did you put him in there?! bring him here immediately!!" She shouted.

"Lady Raikage entrusted you with her guise, I urge you to sit down and think!" The informant had lost his cool, and shouted back at the immature fool Nagisa had left in her place. She is nothing like Nagisa. Nagisa would know how to deal with this. Nagisa would know protocol. If Nagisa were here this wouldn't have happened! He paused long enough to regather his composure. "I apologize. I will explain. While he looks like a survivor, he was running towards your office. He is also the only one remaining. We must take precautions in case he has become vengeful, was the one who did all of this, or is otherwise a threat. We have a team inspecting his body and making sure that he doesn't have any tags or seals on his person. He has been restrained, but we don't know how long he will be unconscious."

"Do you not know anything?" Natsumi sat down, cradling her head in her hands. This was too much. "Tell me you know something."

"We have a name. 'The Gold Lightning of Kumo' We are checking the shinobi files and bingo book to find anyone with that nomer, but that will take time. Right now we need to start building our defense, and you need to pull your a** together and make a public appearance. The people need to know you aren't sitting on your a** and that you were not killed during the chaos."

Natsumi was quiet for a long time as she collected her thoughts. "We need to tell Nagisa. She is alone, we cannot be sure he doesn't know who she is and I need her help. Send a messenger to Kiri, she should be there by now. Goddamn I wish we had that communication array with Kiri. Send your fastest messenger bird. I'll encrypt the message so noone but Nagisa and I can read or alter the message. She brought out several pieces of paper, and started writing the note, occasionally scribbling on a scrap piece of paper, until she had completed her message. This took hours because she needed to put the note under two seperate cyphers. The first cypher Nagisa could break from memory, since it used a coding she had learned in the past. The second was "packaged" in a lone kikaichuu beetle, which was placed in a small box with the letter. The beetle would last long enough to reach Nagisa and deliver the second cypher before it starved unless the letter was intercepted.

The first section of the letter simply gave instructions to deliver the message to Nagisa Aburame, Jounin of Kumogakure.

The second section used only the first cypher, and it read as follows.

The final section used both cyphers and read as follows.


Natsumi finished the letter, and placed the "top priority" Kumogakure crest on the package so the Kirigakure ninja who hopefully received it would know not to dillydally.

((I guess I misread it, or you edited it. Either way it doesn't change much, I'm assuming he wouldn't get a title saying "of Kumo" unless it's a title he got while he was of Kumo. I'll edit the mistake))

[Enters]
Kensei burst through the door with the secretary holding on to his leg trying to pull him away. "Get off me! I have to report this mission." He finally got the woman off of his leg and quickly slammed the door. "Thank god. I'm here to report back Nagi-" He paused once he noticed it was a different person. "You are?" He crossed his arms waiting for an answer.

Kensei started to walk back and fourth while trying to think of good news. "Lets see. Yes and no....um well whatever was messing with the tea fields was some sort of cloud creature. Haruka, Sora, and I were able to repel it but not defeat it. My fire clone is currently talking with the owner. He doesn't sound pleased." He sat down in a chair before continuing "Now the bad news, Haruka is missing, and Sora is currently in the hospital resting from injuries. I may go check up on her after we finish this."

"Yes ma'am" Kensei said as he bowed and walked out of the room. He sat at a table and took a few pieces of paper and began writing about what happened. He wrote mostly about what caused the shortage of tea leaves, to the cloud monster using mostly genjutsu. He also wrote about Sora transforming and attacking him and Haruka. About an hour passed and he finished the report, dropping it off at the secretary desk. "I hope this is good enough." He said to himself before walking out towards the hospital.

Council Meeting Starting:
Nagisa filed through the reports quickly before waving to the woman. "I leave the city in your charge once more. I have a meeting to attend. You know which missions we will need teams for, so you might as well start making them." Quietly, Nagisa left the room and made her way down the long stairway. The council chambers were more than out of the way, but Nagisa knew why that was so important. Such a large room would be much harder to guard on the higher floors where several options for spying existed.

As she stepped into the council chambers she found most of the members present. Only two were missing, the false Raikage and the new ANBU leader. Nagisa bowed to the room before taking her chair at the massive round table.
Placing the files before her she waited for the final seat to be filled before speaking. "I am sure you all know the information regarding the attack on Kumogakure so I will begin with the results of my mission to Kirigakure." she paused for a moment as the council members turned their attention to her. "The Mizukage has agreed to a continued alliance if we sacrifice partial control over the Frost country and it's village of Shimogakure. This provides a mutual benefit for both water and lightning. Their shinobi movements will be limited to a shared guard base between Kumo and Kiri so we can keep an eye on them. Their presence their gives them a closer eye on the mainland as well as a small economic potential, and provides us with a buffer against invaders." She stood quietly as the members mumbled to themselves, but noone posed their disagreement openly yet. "An official signing between the Raikage and Mizukage will occur in the same village of Shimogakure, each side is permitted two guards as well as witnesses from the Daimyos themselves, in keeping with tradition." As she finished her breifing she took her seat and looked across the table, specifically at the Daimyo's liason across the table.
