LET'S RP WITH THAT ONE SCIENTIST NPC GUY Amory Kempe is soon to be the representative of the Council of Science, and lives pretty much exclusively in Gadu, nor has he ever left Imisus in his life. He doesn't travel unless he has to for his work, but is glad to interact with anyone in Gadu regardless of faction orientation, and is pretty open friendly. He's also one of the founders of the field of psychology and is currently psychoanalzying Plagues to discern the differences and similarities between the Plague and human mind. He also keeps patients in his home in an ongoing experiment on the effectiveness of home care as opposed to institutional care for the mentally unwell. He's a professor at Trisica University and a former private therapist, though he still takes on interesting cases. He takes on students and assistants frequently, but doesn't really let them do many important things, since he's a bit of a control freak when it comes to his work.

PLOT IDEAS FOR SCIENTISTS:
Apprenticeship!
Amory takes on students even now that he's busier, although he may not have as much time to give them personalized help. He's especially open to helping underprivileged students who cannot afford Trisica's tuition, as he was born in utter poverty and had to work his way up. Being Amory's student involves helping to care for those patients who live at his home, taking notes for him during certain therapy sessions, helping him prepare his scholarly essays, and talking to him about your own theories, as well as listening to him talk about his work. He prepares a lecture every week and students are expected to attend, as well as privately work on their own theories to present to him. Being Amory's apprentice is very hands off though, as he has issues trusting others with his work.
Asking for favours/placement with another scientist!
Amory will gladly try to help you with anything involving the Council or foist you off on one of his peers.
Science chat/check in!
Need to talk about your work or have an upper level Scientist review it? Amory is intensely interested in all of the work of all of his peers, even the driest material.
FOR EVERYONE:
Research!
If you're a Grimm or Plague, you're pertinent to Amory's research and he'd probably like to sit you down and psychoanalyze you. He only does this to willing volunteers, but he's not shy to ask either- And those non-scientists who offer are reimbursed with a modest fee.
Hijinks!
Amory does things for almost anybody, even strangers, and will probably take his time to help you if he sees you in a jam, especially if you're a kid.
Kids!
Amory has a soft spot for kids and likes to talk to them Very Seriously to see what they think about things. He also shows them magic tricks he picked up after University.
Consultations!
Amory offers private therapy sessions to wealthy patients and interesting cases. He also talks to possible Scientists about the faction if they want to know more and gives people who can't afford institutions advice for taking care of the mentally unwell that doesn't involve a pillow and quiet suffocation.
Plants!
Amory spent time in a monastery as a youth, and is also very frequently stress sick, so he loves herbs! He doesn't grow them himself, but he likes purchasing them and finding them in the wild and sneaking some from the Council gardens. When people bring him some or have a kind he's never seen before, it makes his day.
Sickness!
Amory is very often sick from overwork, and very bad at taking care of himself, so he is willing to try almost any hilarious anecdotal home remedies.
ANYTHING!
It is hard to find a plot that Amory isn't up for.

AMORY IS CURRENTLY IN: GADU After the ORP, Amory is newly minted Scientist representative, so for a while he'll be more flustered than usual as he adjusts. However, he's still chugging along, and will gladly make room for people. Amory only has an aboveground office in the Council Headquarters, and he meets with people there by appointment, but isn't above being accosted in the street to chat about things. As a highly social creature, Amory was fairly well known around Gadu even before he gained notoriety in the Council, and knows people from all walks of life, including less than savoury individuals, as his first few years in Gadu were spent in the slums.

STUNTEDS Amory has a legion of lavender stunteds led by one of the oldest Council stunteds, René. René and the lavender stunteds run errands and messages around the Council for Dr. Kempe, and René is also one of the co-founders of the Stunted Parliament in the Council, and more than happy to induct new members or discuss new legislation/investigate foul play. In his spare time, René also puts on plays with the lavender stunteds and is something of a known flirt.
Candentia is a book of hours stunted that runs a library of Council stunted writings. The library spans from treatises on medicine and magic to philosophy and literature and she accepts submissions from stunteds and normal Plagues alike, as well as facilitates library checkouts and organization systems. A Council stunted wanting to read the work of their peers can visit her.
