Name: Reoakee Taurëore (Pronounced Re-o-oak-ee, or for Tenchi Myo fans.. Ryo-Ohki. Last name: Tow-ray-oh-ray) Nicknames: Reo, Rose (only by her beloved) Specie or race: Halfbreed Human/Elf (takes after her human father for her ears) Social Class: Middle Age: 23 Powers: N/A Talents: Growing and mixing herbs, doodling(she’s not all that good, but she likes it), sculpting, reading, writing, dying cloth, simple sewing, armature at carpentry work. (the wood working is actually really really bad. Anything she makes will probably fall apart in a week.) Specialization: Herbalist Personality: [-] Not very social: Reo is something of a hermit. She likes to listen and to watch others, but if she's surrounded by a group of people she tends to feel uncomfortable. [-] Unsure: There are all times that we wish we could be brave or be in the center of things. Reo is no different she wants to be able to be social but there are times when she freezes and feels uncertain. [+/-] Meaning well: Reo is by her nature not a bad person. She does tend to mess up and confuse herself or others, but it's never intentional. [+/-] Likes to help: Have you ever seen that person that can't leave a kitten out in the rain? That's Reo. She dislikes seeing others cry and will step in even if that makes her feel uncomfortable or leads her into trouble [+/-] Sarcastic: She can also be a cynical pain in the behind if she sets her mind to it. Most of time her wit is an unintentional slip of the tongue which can help others see how she thinks or get her into a lot of trouble. [+/-] Likes praise: As much as she is negative toward her own skills Reo does like hearing others praise her work. There are few things that make her prouder than hearing she did a good job. Sadly this means she can be pretty easily duped by a suave silver tongued soul. [+] Likes poetry and the arts: Reo likes to read and make up poems from time to time. She knows she can't sing well so tends to sing softly only when she knows she's alone. [+] LOVES plants: One of the fastest ways to bring Reo out of her shell is to point out a pretty plant to her so that she can fawn all over it.

Appearance: Height: 5'1” Weight: 150 Eyes: Deep brown Hair: Mix of browns Build: Average thickness, not clearly muscled but she’s a bit stronger than one would expect.
Background: Reoakee was always a quite child and enjoyed plants from an early age, as such her parents quickly knew that becoming an herbalist was a sound choice for her. Reo had no objections and was happy to work with plants rather than learn a trade that required more uninteresting (at least to her) things. While she was growing a boy named Skylar moved into her little village. He didn’t seem all that special but he always came to play with her and since Reo had a hard time getting to know others and develop trust she learned to value the boy who had moved to her village. He was two years younger than she, but he had a quick wit and kind nature. He was going to be knight, at least that was what he was always telling Reo. She remembers laughing and saying she’d learn to heal his wounds. Latter when her studies had progressed as far they could in her home village Reoakee was apprenticed to an herb master in another village. She was all alone and terrified, but kept up her studies, since she had little else to do in a strange village. She thought that he had forgotten her and moved on with life, but low and behold at the start of her second year in her new home her knight came and declared his love for her.
Reoakee had at first refused him thinking him mad, but he kept asking and eventually she broke down and allowed him to court her. He had swept her off her feet with his old fashioned values and his strong and kind nature. It wasn’t long before she found herself being drawn to him at all hours of the day and night. Within a year the pair had become lovers keeping as close as they could when not trying to advance their own studies.
Though like all knights there came a time when her precious knight had to leave on his own adventure. He had kissed Reo tenderly and called her his rose. He swore to come back and wed her. Reo felt she had no choice but to accept this even though she didn’t like it. Eventually her second herb teacher died and when his son took up the duty of becoming the village’s herbalist Reo found herself without a purpose. She felt alone in the world once more it was at that time she heard about the strange land where there were things called Azrein. Reo took off after carving where she was going into the tree her knight proposed to her under.
When she reached the isle she was amazed by it and found the Azrein to be amazing creatures. She would often stare at them from a distance with a sense of longing. Eventually she came to settle down in a small village that was in “neutral” lands. She never imaged she might be picked to be bonded with by an Azrien. Day after day she would take time and read when not tending to her garden or her little shop she had opened with the help of the kind villagers in her new home. It’s taken a few years but she now has a lovely herb garden and even a few fruit trees that are her pride and joy. She knows all the members of the village and actually rather likes them despite not being all that openly social. She still felt that ache of loneliness not knowing whether her knight would ever come for her. A kind traveler she had become friends with gave her a plushie and while reading one day with the plushie beside her the most amazing thing happened a voice appeared in her head causing her to stand abruptly and drop her book. It was an Azrein calming her, and claiming her.
The love and joy she felt through that connection was incredible. Reoakee was happy again and she found a niche to be in. She worked in the village of Forlu as a healer and as a shop owner. A number of interesting people walked through her door. Some good, some not so nice. It didn’t really matter to her. Sometime it wasn’t people who came to her but Azrein in need of some help. Not being skilled in animal medical knowledge she did the best she could. Alu-lote surprised Reo by coming home with a mate and then having two little bundles of joy. It was an interesting time and Reo discovered she had a maternal side that included spoiling children no matter what kind of creature they are. Alu-lote’s mate Dante took off for the mountains with their son Val. Losa and Alu-lote stayed with Reo. During that time a tragedy happened. Losa was foal napped in the middle of a storm. It was also during this storm that Luin appeared in Reo’s life. It was a bitter sweet time while the half elf and her two bonded scoured the forest, village and surrounding fields trying to find a trace of little Losa. It was fruitless and Reo tried to consul her bonded who fell into a dark depression. Luin helped. Time passed and Reoakee made an effort to get out more and see more of the isle. She went to the flower festival and made new friends in Kyrielle and her mate. She returned a little filly to its home and family thus making even more friends.
A little bunny girl named Meikia came to live with Reo. It was odd to have her staying in the shop, but in no time at all she was fixture of the place. Keeping it clean and cooking the meals that didn’t taste of charcoal. Reo got used to having company around and felt more at ease an less strained even if Alu-lote’s loss was still a gaping wound in her own chest. After the Pumpkin festival in the city a miracle occurred. Losa came back! Alu-lote was happy which meant that in turn Reo found a more stable heart in her own chest. This was dampened a bit when Mei announced she had found employment elsewhere. Reo accepted it because Mei had been working in the shop for room and board only; and Mei was off to take care a pregnant noble who Reo found relatively pleasant. This sad news for Reo’s stomach *which had grown accustom to food Mei prepared and not the garbage Reo hadn’t cooked in so long* was sweetened by Alu-lote admitting she was with foal again. Reo made sure to set up some precautions so that these foals would be safer than Losa had been.

~A bond with Dome Menel Alu-lote~
Reoakee had been living peacefully in the village for some time now. She still wasn’t used to being bonded. There were times when she doubted she ever would be used to it. Though in truth she wouldn’t change a thing about it. Alu-lote was her friend and constant companion. The mare brought a sense of stability and consistency to Reo’s life, and a few surprises every now and then too. Here a few stories of the time in the life of Reo.
❁Alu-lote had been acting a bit strange and hording some foods like peaches for a few days after one of her trips to another village for Reo. At first Reo was a bit worried but then Alu-lote told her what had happened as Reoakee was in the stables with her friend leaning against the back stable wall by the tack. During the return trip Alu-lote had met a very nice pegasus named Dante. The two had spent some time together and Alu-lote had offered Dante the chance to come and visit her anytime he wanted to. Alu-lote said it was the same offer she made to a mare named Sharsa.
Having no idea who Sharsa was Reo asked Alu-lote to explain. As it turned out a mare that had been in the village had bumped into Alu-lote and the winged horse took her home. Pinching the bridge of her nose Reoakee wondered why it was that Alu-lote met all these Azrein either offered for them to come home with her or to visit anytime. Weren’t there enough people around with just customers? Annoyed that she hadn’t found out about any of this until just now Reo frowned at Alu-lote but couldn’t bring herself to be truly mad, after all she'd do the same thing if she met someone who was really nice. So there was a white mare named Sharsa who could come and go as she wished and the same was true of a stallion named Dante. Making a note of that in her mind Reo asked Alu-lote if she had extended the invitation to anyone else and her bonded said no.
Quietly thanking whatever gods limited her bonded interaction with others Reo leaned back against the wall of the stable and told Alu-lote that still didn’t explain her change of eating habits. Jokingly she mused aloud if Alu-lote was pregnant. Hearing no response at all and feeling a wave of shock through their bond Reo looked sharply at Alu-lote and watched as the mare’s face took on a blush. … Really? There was no way that her bonded was pregnant. Right? Feeling the blood leave her own face Reo asked if it was possible and getting no response still she sighed and shifted her weight. She’d have to walk to town and start asking questions about what she would need to get to prepare for little foals.

~A bond with Luin Olos Ithil Mallen~
While Reoakee was still reeling for the fact that Alu-lote had little ones which, was both fun and exhausting, she somehow managed to find time to take time and relax when she could. One day after the store had closed and Losa and Valerio had gone to bed Reo stretched out on her own bed and felt her eyes grow heavy. Soon she found herself in a nice deep slumber. Slowly her dream began to change. She could hear voices. Feeling like she was drifting a part of Reo wondered if someone had wandered into the shop. Wanting to get up and tell them she was closed for the day a larger part of Reo just wanted to stay there face down on her bed and sleep for a bit. Still the voices persisted and seemed to be getting louder.
“Well now this one seems interesting.” “Looks like a male if you ask me.” “No, No I think it’s a female.” “How can you tell? All of the two legger’s look the same to me.” “I think he is looking at the length of the mane. Still I don’t think that’s a good way to tell.”
Reoakee groaned and tried to roll over thinking the voices where simply annoying after she had been up all day hauling now inventory for her shop. Still she heard the sounds of hooves, something was wrong with the sound though. It was as though it was echoing over a vast distance. Opening one eye Reo jerked back. She was in nothing. No that wasn’t quite right she was somewhere floating facing down into what appeared to be the stars. She flailed futilely for a moment before she realized that she wasn’t going to small. Hearing a laugh she froze and slowly turned her head. Behind her where four Azrein looking at her greatly amused. Making a small squeaking noise she looked around for something familiar. All around her where stars, it was simply too unreal to take in. She jerked her arms trying to turn around to face the strange Arzein. “Who are you all? Where am I?” Reoakee could find her voice, but couldn’t figure out what to ask or how to keep her thoughts straight.
“Calm down little one. We are beings of this realm that you have wandered into. I know not how you got here, but fear not we shall help you get home.” “Realm? I didn’t’ go anywhere. I finished unloading my inventory and went to my room to take a nap.” There was a moment of silence before she laughed a bit manically at herself. “This is just a dream. That’s all.”
She watched as the Azrein looked at her and then spoke amongst themselves. “Does it sound.. stable to you?””Not really, but I don’t think they are used to coming here.””If that’s the case then one of us should take it home as soon as possible.” Her nervous laughter died down to a occasional chuckle. Was she the 'it' they were talking about. I have a name you know. To her own shock she heard one of the celestial beings speak into her mind like her bonded Alu-lote did telling her that it knew that and did understand.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rolling out of her bed with a crash Reoakee could still hear the being's voice in her head. She sighed and pulled herself off the floor with a groan. "I think that could be a nightmare of sorts. I can't stand heights." The laughter of the being's voice started to echo in her head making her gasp. It had only been a dream hadn't it? The voice that next spoke to her suggested otherwise.
Well now this is a very nice home you have here. You wouldn’t mind if I stayed a while would you? uh…. Reoakee could hear laughter in her head. She also heard Alu-lote wake up and ask her what was wrong. Feeling like her head was too crowded Reo set her head down on the edge of the bed and felt concern from both Alu-lote and the other mare. Luin Olos Ithil Mallen, that is my name bonded. Still we can discuss it in the morning after you have rested and thought things through. Go rest I will still be here in the morning. I promise. Until then I believe I’ll go speak with your other bonded and explain a few things to her.” Not sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing Reo got up and slipped back into bed praying for a dreamless night as she heard Luin's hoof beats head down the hall toward the stable.
And so Reo gained another friend and companion in Luin. Still simply staying around the shop laughing at Reo is not all Luin has done.
✯ Luin and Reo headed to the city for what was known on the isle as the festival of flowers. There was dark talk in the air of the Six making a strike at festivities and doing harm. Still Reo risked the trip to try and make new connects for her shop. The more places she could have coming and going from the village the better off she would be. At least that was her thought. Alu-lote had wanted to stay home, so Luin offered to go with Reo. Of course she made sure to torment Reo here and there to try and get her chosen to lighten up a bit. It was a fun thing to be in the city after all. It was so crowded that Reo had to stay close to Luin or lose the Azrein. They met a few others in the city who were interesting enough that Luin pestered Reo to meet with them later. Luin also saw a Skh’et for the first time which made her all sorts of curious and interested. She probably scared the little bunny with all her questions. It didn’t slow her down at all. It also made her feel more at ease for when a Skh’et came to the shop to start to live.

The Village of Forlu *approved by pudds
A small village sits on the edge of the Fresya woods. It’s a large enough village with people coming and going but if you go to the in you’ll find an old woman sitting around the fire at the inn that doubles as the village tavern and bar telling stories to travelers for some coin or drink. Least that was what everyone said. One such traveler intent on listening in is a half human half elf who came from off the isle only a few days before. Not seeing anyone around the woman the girl doesn’t know whether she should risk it or not. Still she has nothing to lose. Heading to the bar she first orders a drink and is given ale. Taking a sip she tries hard not to grimace while she walks to the table where the crone is sitting. The stench of urine that she didn’t notice before gets stronger the closer she gets. Taking as seat a quarter of the way around the table she notices the old woman’s stare and smiles trying to be friendly. “Well now dearie I see by your cloth you’re not of this village. For a coin or drink I’ll tell a bit about us all here.” The half elf passes the old woman the remainder of her ale that has barely a sip out of it not really caring one way or the other for the drink. “mmm… Thank you dearie. Now let’s see, where to start.” The old woman takes a moment to think. “At the beginning is best. The village wasn’t made of any marvelous quest or of some rich patrons will rather it was formed by simple chance. You see while it is simple enough to cross the greater herd plans there are a number of folk who prefer to travel by boat. Maybe they think they’ll think they’ll actually get somewhere even though there’s no place to go on this giant floating rock.” The old woman snorts and coughs a few times before she continues. “Well it doesn’t really matter. They still come and they still go by boat and by barge from the woods down to the old Sandar. Eh? I see that look you don’t know the lake? Bah you’re twice the fool then girl. Still the lake has nothing to do with the village save a reason why people come by boat.” The old crone waves a shriveled hand through the air as though trying to claw through it. “The silks from the north pass down to the south and the metals from the south come up to the north either by castle or by us. Simple as that. Only reason why we’re here. Thanks for the drink dearie.” Cackling the hag downs the ale and slams the mug on her table before getting up and shuffling off quicker than the elf expected. Surprised at being taken in the girl isn’t certain what to do next. Stifled laughs can be heard around the tavern’s common room, some at her, others at activies that often happen when men and women get drunk. “Sorry friend, looks like old Gracie got ya.” Turning her head the half elf looks up at a stout human bartender who has a straight face but whose eyes twinkle saying she’s not the first to fall prey to the con artist crone. “Well ya do look new, come up by the bar and I’ll tell ya bit more about the village, I won’t even make ya by nothin’… well unless ya want tah of course.” The half elf follows the man to the bar and slides onto a worn stool. Her feet don’t quite touch the floor. Avoiding the temptation to swing them she waits patiently for the bartender to move around the bar. “Well I’m not much for history or none of the like but if you’re gonna be around the village there are a few things and places ya should know. Firstly I’m sure in other places they teach ya tah read but in case ya can’t this ‘ere’s the ‘Why Knot Tavern’. It’s a joke ya see. Knot and not. I came up with it myself. ” The man grinned like he was a genius and didn’t seem to care that the half elf didn’t smile back. “Anyways ‘ere in Forlu we have traders always comin’ and goin’ quick as they’d like down our river. So the market is always busy. They don’t stay to long though. Got bigger coin comin’ in from stopping at other places. This is just a place to stock up and get rid of extra ya know? So things real cheap here or else they’d just keep going. Ya don’t look like a trader so why are ya here? Gonna go into the woods and make ya self a fortune?” The man chuckled and leaned closer his foppish façade gone in an instant. “I wouldn’t recommend ya doin’ that lass ya don’t seem quick enough to get away from the Tallow trees. At least here in the village we got Addar looking out for us.” Leaning back he went back to smiling and didn’t seem to notice the girl sigh in relief. “Addar, ‘e’s the one ya wanna talk to if wanna make anything here in the village. He’s a strong magic user he is. Corse my "inn wife" cook Kara’s stronger, ‘specially when she’s swingin’ around that pan of hers. Had to have John fix the handle so many times I think he’s stared makin’ ‘em in advance. John’s the blacksmith here in the village. He’s a good ‘un too. Now then the mess of sortin’ out the traders and making sure the fights stay to a minimum belong to Jack and Jonny. Jack’s the nimble one who thinks it all through and his silver tongue keeps the peace, when that fails then Jonny and his two big old fists come in and solve the problem ya know? Both of them are bit too smooth for my liking but Adder keeps them in line, just like his pa did ‘afore him. Anyways you can find those boys around the ‘Lost and Looking’ dock house. It’s also where Letha teaches the children.” The man pointed to a barmaid who was passing out drinks to a pair of oily looking merchants. “They got a small room they use an everything. See bein’ such a small place we don’t have a school, but that don’t mean we don’t teach our children to read or write. Children are special all over the isle and here ain’t no different ya hear?” Well of course she could, with the way this man spoke it was hard to miss. Still she nodded her head and that seemed to satisfy the man. A sudden stench seemed to filter into the inn. The half elf did her best to hold her breath and looked around for the source of the pungent odor. It was wiry little man who had skin that looked like leather and small piggy eyes that looked back and forth as though the man expected a knife in his back any moment. Watching the man scuttle up to the bar seat next to her the girl wiggled as far from his as she could get. The man ordered a drink but his speech was to slurred for the girl to understand. The bartender seemed to understand and got a drink down from a shelf and handed it to the odious man. The man tossed a few coins on the bar and turned and scuttled back out. The girl watched him go and was happy to have breathable air again even if some of the stench still lingered. “I see ya don’t like Throme’s smell there little lass.” He chuckled and the girl on the bar crossed her arms so he wouldn’t see that her fists were clenched. Being laughed at was not one of her favorite past times. “I don’t blame ya. I don’t know how Amanada can stand him. Pretty little farmer lass she manages so well with that little s**t of hers Sorrel, the twin Alex though is a sweet thing. I feel like she’s my own flesh and blood when I see her and those wispy brown curls o hers. ” The man barked another laugh and then looked around the bar. “Ya see those two in the corner drinking quietly and not talkin’ to anyone else?” The man nodded in the direction he wanted her to look. Turning for a brief glance she did notice and then looked back to the barkeep wondering why the two were important. To her they were just a par of humans both a bit ragged and the girl was covered in whitish tattoos from head to toe. There had been lines on her face suggesting she never smiled while the man sat like a panther ready to pounce watching the room. Both of them scared the girl but she’d never admit to it. “The woman’s Xelco and her brother is Barker. Now I don’t think they’re really related but Barker follows Xelco around and does what she wants and she calls him brother even though they look nothing alike. He’s as pale as death and she’s blacker than coal. Still no one questions ‘em on it since the pair do all the guiding into the woods and bring the fools back out alive who are stupid enough to wander in. They also bring in some nice pelts so if you’re looking for something warm ya should speak to them. Course with the silks commin’ from the north maybe ya got you eyes set on somthin’ a little higher? I know you women like that kind of thing. Personally I like a good pelt on the end of my bed.” The man wagged his eyebrow at the half elf like that wasn’t that wasn’t the only thing he liked in bed. She blushed and thanked the stars above when the man’s attention turned from her to yell at some boys who were causing a ruckus playing a dice game. She watched as they quitted down at the barkeeps scolding. “Bah! Stupid boys they come up hoping for adventure and don’t have the coin for gear. Our harbor master Born lets ‘em work for him provided ‘course they don’t cause any trouble in the village. Most are gone after a fortnight. His little girl Eseal, bless her little heart, looks after the other little ones when Letha can’t you’d think Lyra and Echo where her own sisters and not some orphans. I’ll be back in a minute girly.” The man left to go take care of some other customers. For a moment the half elf considered just leaving. She’d come this far on the isle with no goal in sight, maybe she should travel a bit further on. She turned and say a boy staring at her. “Hey lady! I’m Michael and someday I’ll be running this place so be sure to keep on coming back ok?” The boy stuck out a dirty hand for her to shake. Amused she took it with a nod and a smile. The little dirt pile of a boy grinned and turned and raced over to join a woman who was talking to the bartender. She noticed the woman looked at the barkeep with kind eyes and then to her shock stood up on her tip toes to kiss the man. The man chuckled and put his arm around her and spun her around once before letting her go and heading back to the bar while the woman took Michael and left. Raising a brow at the man the half elf stared him down. At first he chuckled and coughed. “My wife, Samus.” The half elf kept staring. “If in ya’d be so kind don’t mention the pelt thing from before it was only a joke ya see?” The man seemed a bit nervous; he visibly un-tensed when he saw the half elf shrug. “Ah I knew ya’d get the joke, you’re a sweet lass to be true. Tell ya what if ya ever want ta know anything you can just come and ask me alright?” The half elf nodded and slipped of the stool. It was time to go. She nodded her goodbye turned and left.
While exiting the tavern she moved to avoid what seemed like an already drunk patron coming in. In doing so she bumped into someone. “Ah hello there.” She felt hands gently touch her shoulders and help her right herself. Suppressing a shudder the half elf turned and looked at the man. He was rather tall. About six foot four with jet black hair that looked a bit oily. His eyes seemed kind enough though and his voice was a deep resonating one. “Well my dear it seems we were fated to meet. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Adder the village mage. I’m on my way to go help a villager, you wouldn’t happen to know any healing skills would you?” Blinking the girl shrugged and half nodded. Apparently taking it for a yes the man wrapped his arm around her and more or less dragged her from the tavern entrance area toward a farm house. As they went along the girl wondered why she was being pulled around by a man that didn’t even know her name? They were all crazy in this place? Arriving at a shabby little farm house Adder didn’t even bother to knock he just barged right it. In the main room by the fireplace a makeshift bed was set up so the patient could stay warm. On the bed there was a little girl only about five years old. Next to her was a seven year old girl who was holding her hand. There girl in bed was clearly feverish and half asleep. Adder smiled at the girls and moved closer. “Hello there little Echo. I’m sure you remember me. This time I’ve brought a friend with me.” The half elf smiled uncertainly. She certainly had no friends in this place. No need to scare the girl though."Now then my friend why don't you take a look at the girl?' Nodding she moved forward and knelt down. The seven year old moved aside. The half elf spent a few moments examining the sick girl knowing the mage was watching her. How odd he didn't interfere. She knew this illness it was a common child fever that would pass easily enough. Right now the girl needed to stay hydrated and cool. Standing up she looked back at the mage and then pointed out what she found. He laughed. "Well I'm impressed the last person I brought here tried to whip up some ridiculous cure." He waved a hand. "I'm sorry I actually knew what was wrong with Echo and we are just waiting for her fever to end. I was just curious when you said you knew a bit about healing. Tell you what why don't you and I take a walk and talk about a few things." The half elf didn't really think this little chat was going to be fun. After all he had just been toying with her. Annoyed she followed him out.
As he walked the half elf followed closely not bothering to hide her annoyed face. The man took her down toward the docks where people were loading and unloading barges. "Well now Miss healer this little village is in a bit of a sore spot you see. Our last healer Metra just recently died in an accident invlolving herself and a noble who used to live in the area. Wild magic you see. The foolish noble wanted to make a store and then wanted to build a big mansion nearby. I told him where he built the store was fine, but that house of his was in a bad spot. He was young and chose to ignore me. So while our healer was visiting him she didn't realize it until it was too late. They both perished." Adder sounded so sad the half elf forgot much of her ire. "Now we're looking to find a new healer to stay in the area. It's either find one or go petition the king to get one. We're a small enough village but we take care of ourselves pretty well. We'd rather not pester the king with such things." He waved a hand over the small little port. "Now I can tell your new and I won't lie. I was eavesdropping a bit on you in the bar. Now then if you don't have a spot on the isle you've been more or less told about everyone here in town.. Why not stay here with us miss." "My name isn't miss. It's Reoakee Taurëore. Well I don't really have a place to go here I'd prefer not to be toyed with like I'm a doll." Adder turned and looked at her blinking for a moment before laughing aloud. "Well now I wasn't expecting so much spunk. Fair enough miss Taurëore. I'll see to it your set up in the old nobles shop. It's a bit worse for the wear, but it's useable. I also promise you'll be treated with dignity and respect. Care to stay now?" His eyes were almost pleading. Sighing Reoakee nodded not really knowing what else to do. After all this place needed a healer and she really didn't have any place to go. It was growing dark too and she didn't have a bed for the night. Why not what was the worst that could happen. After all she could always leave later. Seeing Adder's smile Reo almost wished she said no. He looked so thrilled she wondered if things got bad in the area. She hardly knew anything about the isle after all.
He then took on an air of importance and proceeded to lead her around the village and introduce her to the villagers. Most of them Reo had some idea about since they had been explained to her in the tavern. Still she doubted she would remember all their names. Dealing with people really wasn't her forte. Finlay after what seemed like an eternity of being paraded about she was lead outside of the village down a small path. On the edge of the woods a building front peeked out. She couldn't see behind it due to large shrubs that were in sore need of trimming the building front seemed quite plain. It was a combination of wood and stone and there was a blank board up above the entrance for a name to the store. She tilted her head and looked at it. "Well the previous owner could never make up his mind what he wanted to call the place so he left it blank. We left all furniture and non perishable goods in the store. It was easier than taking them out. Don't worry I'll re-magic the roof tiles so you don't need to worry about rain." He gestured to the building. "Well I know it's not much but it's all yours as long as your our healer here. If you need anything just come and let me know. I'll see what I can do. Say do you know any magic." Reo shook her head no and Adder sighed. "Pity I could use the help. Still just having a healer helps me a lot so no worries I suppose. I'll come back tomorrow to help you settle in. Bye." With that he turned and strode off with a walk that made Reo want to laugh if she weren't so nervous. She pushed the old wooden door open to her new home.
It was a mess. There were cloth drapes over everything but she'd still need to clean a lot to get the floor even to her low standards. How long ago had the previous owner died? Forget it. It was well into the late hours of twilight. Wandering around she eventually found a bed. Pulling off the cloth covering she curled up and slept in her new bed. It was all so strange. She'd figure out things more tomorrow.
