The Case of the Mysterious Murder of the Literature TeacherThe Official Clues Thread Welcome! This is the official placing of all the clues pertaining to Estas Landry's murder. In this thread there will be three types of clues: 1) Official clues left by Crew members. 2) Clues thought up by the role players 3) False cluesFeel free to discuss the many possibilities in this thread and this thread only. Do not post thoughts/possibilities/ideas/clues in the Main Forum OOC thread. All that goes here. In this thread. This thread only. I mean, come on, it's an entire thread for such blather... But I'm getting ahead of myself. Official clues and role player clues will be posted separately, and false clues will be mixed in indiscriminately. It is your job, students and teachers of Nexus Academy, to solve the case of Estas' death and bring the murderer to justice! After all, we can't very well have a murderer roaming the school grounds, now can we...?

The Grisly DetailsThe Scene of the Crime Can't remember the scene? Too lazy to go here? Then this is the post for you! Shortly following will be the crime scene as presented by the delightful XxHakaxX and the incorrigible Scythe de Zaran. This is completely true and unaltered and without tampering by vengeful/mischievous spirits. Anyway, you get the drift. Take the following scene completely seriously. Quote: Drip, drip, drip…. Blood dripped at a slow hypnotising pace onto the hard flooring of the Planetarium room. A small trickle of blood led the way to a lifeless body that lay at a peculiar angle on the cold ground, the back of the persons head has been hit with something heavy causing massive injury. The body had been there for around two hours already and there was no sign of anyone else within the room. Nearby one of the statues that usually sat atop a platform lay discarded on the ground. The statue is that of a snake like creature whose body is tightly coiled around a red ruby…but that is not the only thing red on the ornament. Blood marks its base. Perhaps this was the object used on the poor soul who lay abandoned… On closer inspection the person seems to be clutching something in their right hand. A tuft of white hair. The sample is slim and hardly noticeable it could be that of a small animal or short haired person. One thing is for sure, this was no accident. Something had taken place here that saw one person walk away while the other lay unconscious…or worse.
Questions will arise and perhaps answered as this mystery goes on. Who was the culprit and why have they done this? Where are they now? What is their motive? And why did they commit a crime at a school?! What is the deal with the hair?! Things are definitely going to become uneasy within the school. It is time to put on your investigator hat and act like the best Sherlock ever. With the limited amount of evidence available and a school full of possible culprits, can YOU solve the mystery? You better be quick…the one on the run may strike again and time waits for no one. ….Drip, drip, drip Clearly something has gone horribly wrong. Why was Estas in the Planetorium? Who attacked him? Who knows....? That is for you to find. Speaking of finding, one unlucky student happened to stumble upon this horrible sight while out ridiculously early one morning... Which could be seen as a good thing, as no one else might have found poor Estas otherwise. Anyway, without further ado, please welcome Artix to the stage. Stage of murder! Quote: Artix Valeon
Even though Artix was an early riser, even one o'clock in the morning was early for him. But he needed to practice. What did he need to practice and for what, you ask? For his part in the next play, Artix's character that he was supposed to play was at one point supposed to scream. So he wanted to practice doing so as often as humanly possible to make sure it was perfect when he actually did it on stage. He was smart enough to think that maybe he should pick a classroom that wasn't going to have any people in it. He didn't want to disturb anyone with his screaming. The best and most isolated place he knew of in the school was the observatory, and that was where the young actor was headed.
At one o'clock in the morning.
Artix hummed happily to himself as his mind mulled over his role in the play. He really was very very excited about it. But then again, Artix was excited about any sort of theatrical role. At all times, and sometimes way too much, some other people might say. But theatre was something Artix really and truly enjoyed. A career path was in order as far as he was concerned. Literally skipping up the stairs, Artix was clearly in a ridiculously good mood this morning. It was normal for him, but would definitely seem abnormal to anyone else in the world.
By now, he had reached his destination: the Planetarium. Artix grinned widely, taking in a big breath of the fresh morning air before letting out a contented sigh. Still grinning, he briskly headed towards the center of the area. Being in a happy mood, Artix turned around slowly, taking in the beautiful pre-dawn sights of the planetarium. For a first attempt, Artix took in a big breath of air before letting out a very loud scream. The sound bounced off the stones giving off a nice echo. That was one of the reasons why he'd chosen to come up here. There was good acoustics up here.
To anyone else, they may have been satisfied with that one scream. But Artix... Well, he scowled a little bit shaking his head. "No no no. That's not right! It needs something... more..." he mused aloud to himself as he continued walking backwards towards the center of the garden, near the fountain. He took in another breath and tried again. This time with more of a dramatic flare. But he was still not satisfied with the result. He folded his arms across his chest. "That's not-- Eep!"
A few steps later and that was when he slipped. It was, of course, due to the fact that Artix had not been paying attention to where exactly he was going. He hit the stone walkway on his backside, with his arms going upward in a sort of classic cartoon-y manner. Fortunately, the back of his head didn't hit the ground. But his back... well, it hurt. "Oof! .......... Ow.........." Artix groaned, as he propped himself up with his right hand and rubbing his lower back with the other. When he touched the ground though, he felt something wet. Wincing a bit from his fall, Artix looked over to his hand to see what exactly his hand and been put into, thinking it might be a puddle of water from the fountain or something.
But boy, was he ever wrong. His hand was not in a puddle of water as he had thought. It was blood. His eyes shot open to the point where one could probably see the whites of them. At the same time, Artix scrambled backwards like a crab on sand to get his body away from the blood, now feeling wet stains of possibly even more blood on the back of his shirt. When he turned around, he got the ultimate shock of his life. A dead body!? As soon as he laid eyes on it, Artix let out the most ear-piercing scream of horror ever known to be made by mankind.
Of course, being horrified, Artix would miss seeing some of the other evidence strewn around the dead body of Estas Landry, the Literature teacher: the tuft of white hair in the victim's hand, a notebook which read "Murder Ideas" on the cover, and an empty bottle of wine.
If nothing else, Artix definitely found the flare he had been missing in his other screams now...

Murder Ideas by Faraday Rahl Wondering exactly what is inside this book of murder found at the scene of the crime? Me too! This is where Faraday's book will come into play, and all the pages will be displayed unto the world... Yes, it is Fara's book, and yes, it indeed contains drawings and written ideas and wishes regarding how to kill someone. However, the pages will only be released one by one, as the students will not be handling the evidence, obviously. These pages are to be regarded as clues. Pages So Far The Cover Oops! Looks like this hasn't been released yet! Come back soon for updates. The InsideOops! Looks like this hasn't been released yet! Come back soon for updates.

Black Claided Cat Scythe de Zaran Black Claided Cat Where?! Where?! OwO XD Just posted. Played too much Dragon Age. One of the war cries is 'So much BLOOD!' I just had to do my own version of 'So much TEXT!' Well. This will be interesting. I'm making Rine a suspect. But no talky outside of the specific thread? I'm glad I can finally stretch my fingers. Murder conspiracies in that other topic! Besides a good detective should make everyone a suspect! Hey hey... Rine would not say "So much blood." I know! XD She wouldn't. Not in the 'eh, too much blood' way. If she would, she would say it in a 'OOH! I love what you did with the place!' type of way with an insane grin. DUN DUN DUN

Rine: Stayed up really late that night, her dorm-mates were asleep, she had pranked the murder victim a few days earlier, she was writing in a notebook with a 'particularly offensive title on the front', and was not shocked at the scream. Doesn't sound too good for her, but you know the obvious ones are never it. XD Besides, even 'human' Rine would nom on the body.

Right, Rine... sure.... some could be obvious .Some people could be obvious on purpose! And how do we know Artix really didn't do it? Is Faraday being too careful? Is Artix that influential as an actor? *drumroll*

Scythe de Zaran Right, Rine... sure.... some could be obvious .Some people could be obvious on purpose! Puh-lease. I might be insulting Rine here, but she's too dumb to be obvious on purpose. *A minute later* She said she feels terribly insulted and just tried to hit me. Besides, she doesn't watch any murder shows. Her killing style is *Kill* *Omnomnom* *Leave the blood*. But who knows. *Shrug* Going to watch MLP. Just got the urge.

Trixie was in her dorm during the discovery of the crime scene. Even Serena can tell you that.
Trixie: Hmm... that certain black haired girl seems like an antagonist though!

Luella and Vivi would...probably be fine.
Ginjiro...not so much. Alibi or not. Silver hair and a book of ideas is...pretty much like Jiro. Which will throw blame on him...early...hm... And whose to say that he isn't drunk by the day? He's surely crazy enough for it...
Jiro: ...seriously...this is bull...

After thinking about this carfully I have come to the conclusion that Scyther is the culprit! 3nodding Anyways, I doubt Daryle could hurt Estas! They are friends and stuff and as for Serena it is as Degenerate just said, Serena was in the room with Trixie when the crime was discovered.
Daryle: I would never hurt a fellow teacher gonk I have no motive! I was busy plotting pranks lessons!
Serena: stare Daryle is weird....
