Midnight here, welcoming you to 2012 TROGK! I hope you all had a safe and Happy Holidays. Well I think I have a lot to say so lets get it started shall we? December although quiet for the most part it wasn't without its moments. For this month the clan funds actually went down going from 1.8 mil to our now total of 1.35 mil. Reason for this drop was we bought a replacement ring for one of our members. We had our 5th annual Secret Santa with 7 members participating. To keep it fair the captain bowed out of the event. If you kept up with the announcements you know that those who participated were to receive a bonus gift but probably never received it. This is intentional as one participant has YET to send a gift. For now i'm assuming that this member was gone over the holidays and has not yet come back online. Anyway a reminder will be sent to this individual and hopefully if and once this gets resolved I'll quickly send out the gifts. Now for some good news, we have a new member. Lets all welcome pumpkin438 to the clan. Now for the new news... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ With the new year in full swing I think its high time for some cleanup/remodeling of this place. this will entail some cleanup of the fourm here. and possibly kicking out some inactive members. Over the holidays I was looking back through past meetings and looking at a post that Tay Lorien posted in an earlier forum. Tay Lorien Something I would like to know how each of the members is doing in Alchemy, (or if they don't use that system, they can say why), I'm using it because I want to work toward the still unreleased wings. I am at the level 3 blockade myself, but if there are members who are much higher, then eventually one of them could help me create it when it comes out. Alot of us are doing alchemy and if i'm not mistaken most of us are stuck at the level 3 blockade. That plus Tay's post that I've qouted has given me the idea i'm about to share with you. What if we as a clan worked together to get the mule up to level 10 in alchemy? We get formula's then we all try to get the materials needed to do so. Right now the mule is at level 1 still but the captain bought up most if not ALL the formula's for the limited edition gold giftbox and has traded them to me so that will change pretty quick if we agree to this. as for the finished products we can agree to either sell it in the MP or keep it for the members but we can figure that out once we discuss. Something else I wanted to bring up, more like a "what if" question. Basically what if I started to collect GCash with the mule what would you as a clan like me to spend it on? Well with that said feel free to discuss.

I don't participate in 99% of the Alchemy but I'd be willing to help out the mule with any ingredients I may get/have.
Question: Inactive members in the guild particularly?

As for alchemy, I'm at lv 3 at the moment. Lol, I want to get my level up because I'm an achivement whore. sweatdrop I would still be willin' to help level the mule up as well.
Earnin' gc on the mule would be cool. As what to use it for I'm not sure. We can decide on that at a later date.

Ah, well, I've been mostly inactive on Gaia for a while - although I'm trying to pick it up again since classes have finally slowed down a bit.
I haven't touched Alchemy yet, but I would be willing to give it a go!

I, too, am at Level 3. >.< I wouldn't mind at all if we came together to raise the Mule's rank to Level 10. We can make a butt load of gold and help each member out, in the end.
As for the GC... hm... it could be used to help bring in more gold, by buying and selling RIGs. It can also be used for purchasing zOMG! exclusive things to new areas (blood amulet, anyone?). That's all I'm thinking about right now.

Wow, I'm happy that my input actually was paid attention to smile
I think having the mule be the focus is a pretty good idea.
I'm okay with selling items made in the marketplace when needed (but I suppose if one of us was looking for them we could buy them). I'm also okay if we get items out of the giftboxes being used towards higher level alchemy items in the future.

Hmm... seems like we got a few poll lovers here... but its also amazing that the meeting I talk about cleaning up some people that some come back. Welcome back Infamous one and Setsunasa.
Gotta give credit where credit is due Tay
Lets face it, unless half the Gaian populace suddenly leaves to never return, Alchemy is well here to stay. That plus with this idea, This could help us go from just a zomg clan to a full Gaian game clan. zOMG! lovers? excellent! Not your cup of tea? would you rather go fishing?, wander through towns to get bugs/garbage? That's just as good in my book.
Just one final thing about it is that once we get the mule maxed out in alchemy we can then help out members who want to get to level 10 afterwards. To put it bluntly: Although were probably smaller than most clans, there is nothing, NOTHING we can't accomplish when we work together towards a common goal!
As far as the "banking GCash" idea is concerned. I did some math and the potential is quite amazing. If we banked 10 Gcash every day for a year, at the end of this year the clan would have 3660 GCash... 3660 FREE Gcash. To help make the point the clan could buy 2 year end rig bundles and still have a decent amount to start the next year with. Keep this in mind this was just an example the decision for the use of this cash will be ultimately up to you the members.

Yeah, I'm getting the 10 blue noodle cash each day whenever I'm online, which is generally half of each week, not counting holidays.
It's free, and if you think about it, if everyone on gaia got it each day, they'd have enough for the month's letter + 50-60 extra.

That's a definitely yes on collecting GCash on the mule, regardless of what any of us think it should be spent on, DO IT. Actually gave me the great idea to collect it on my own mule that hadn't seen the light of day in nearly 3 years, haha. XD As for myself, I only recently discovered Alchemy, and only discovered it because of my quest for achievements. But Alchemy is haaaard. D: So I'd be willing to toss my formulas n' stuff at the mule instead since I can't really be bothered. So long as maybe some of that good stuff came back my way if I wanted it? (Though as of now I'll say that I'm not likely to want anything from Alchemy.)
Also, how about this Booty Grabbin' business? That stuff is insaaane yo. I mean, I've lurked around gaia the past year and all, but I never actually explored the site, was just here to talk to a friend and rp'd a little with her and some others. Seriously, can make sooo much money off that each day if you have the time. I'm having a hard time choosing whether to go for a Fortune Ring first or a Bloodstone Amulet...

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. The only thing I really do on gaia anymore is play resort world. I know i have been a bad guild member and i apologize. If there is anything anyone needs that I can help with please let me know and i'll do my best to help.
