Lately the youma of the Negaverse have been...acting quite strangely. You may find that the feral youma are exhibiting even more feral behavior - especially when the moon is out - as they howl to the skies and chomp at civilians at random! Meanwhile, the more intelligent, humanoid youma have been acting just as strange, moving at a slow pace after humans. You could have sworn that you heard one utter the phrase "braaaiiiiins" at least once. They're going after the city and putting citizens in danger and in need of rescue. They are even not following commands of their Negaverse agent! Perhaps it is just the Halloween spirit, but there's certainly something strange in the neighborhood. So who you gonna call? What are you going to do about it?

We're well into 2012, and sure, as the clock counted down to midnight on New Years Eve, we all made promises... But how's that follow-through going? Did you swear to rip out more starseeds? Were you going to kill 20 youma this month? Get a new job? A promotion? A girlfriend? Move out of your mom's house?

Fact is, you're slacking, and when you woke up this morning, it hit you in the face that nothing you were determined to change has changed.

Destiny City has always had it's far share of snow during the winter, but one big storm on top of another in the past week has pretty well buried the city. With over a foot of snow many businesses are closed and people are hunkering down indoors. You know what that means, Snow Day!

Schools are out as well as many businesses. How are you going to spend your extra days off? Or if you're one of the unlucky few who didn't get the day off, how are you taking it?

It's the largest holiday season of the year, and while for most, that means staying inside and stuffing their bellies with good cheer, some spend the winter giving back to their community. You are one of those people, and have an act of charity you do each year. What is it, and how do you feel doing it?

Forget the holidays, December means one thing to you: No school/Time off from work! What are you plans for your upcoming vacation time? Will you be participating in any of DC's myriad winter celebrations, or getting out of the complicated city altogether? What do you do, and who do you see during your holiday? Is it a good or bad one?

The local Destiny City movie theatre is celebrating its tenth year in business, and this month movie tickets are being greatly discounted. Regular movie goers are taking advantage of the event but even those that don't normally go are finding themselves in the possession of tickets thanks to raffles at work and special giveaways at schools and certain stores. You find yourself in the possession of two movie tickets, what are you going to go see? Will you take someone with you or just lone wolf it so you can go to two different movies? The popcorn is calling you!

Apart from those who thrive on heat and humidity, most of the city has been anxiously anticipating the long awaited cool down, the descent from the increasingly sweltering summer temperatures into pleasant sweater weather, when the air loses its hot, suffocating oppressiveness and the leaves become edged with color.

It happens one night quite suddenly, following a string of severe storms. The weather reports have been issuing warnings throughout the day, and the storms, when they finally arrive after nightfall, do not disappoint. The city is pounded by unforgiving rains as intense claps of thunder boom overhead and lightning cracks across the sky, and the wind howls through the streets and alleys like some living thing let loose to wreak havoc. Parts of the city lose power, leaving some of its citizens in a pervasive darkness for nearly an hour… two… three… until crews can be dispatched to repair the lines and return the city to all its illuminated glory.

Finally, the night is through and the city awakens to streets lined with puddles and littered with damp leaves. The sky is clear and blue, with not a cloud in sight, the sun warm but not unbearably so, just enough to serve as a reminder of a summer making its grand departure.

And on the other side of the storms are crisp mornings, mild days, and steadily cooling nights—the first tentative signs of fall.
