CheshireKttty Lyric found herself yawning rather a bit too often over the last two days. It couldn't be that the mare was tired. Certainly she stayed out late, but she'd never been much of a morning person so she had still managed the necessary amounts of sleep. No, it must just be boredom. She couldn't really remember the last time she'd had much entertainment. Perhaps she just needed to get out again, live life to the fullest. Yes, that must be it. Determined to find herself a bit of fun, the mare moved out from under the oak that she had been napping beneath. Stormflower Ingram ventured out from his families gaze once again. Leaving behind those that accepted him no matter what, but still the ones he passed in the forest and in the open fields...they would stare at his glowing eyes and bone like markings. Some wouldn't care, but others would whisper. Mostly he wouldn't care, not about himself but other times other he passed to see them picked on for being different....it just wasn't fair, but he learned that was life. He wandered through the forest as he often did, searching for something and yet nothing to do...He glanced to the tree tops and to the sky as a light breeze swept through the leaves. The calm air around him put him at ease and put a smile on his face, making him forget for a moment the judgments the world held. CheshireKttty Lyric paused for a moment as she passed a large cavern on this little walk of hers. For a moment she debated on entering the wide mouth, but finally she decided against it. Yes she was here to have some fun, but she was not here to get herself killed or wind up trapped beneath a pile of rubble. Firm in her decision, she continued to move on, making her way deeper into the forest.
The mare traveled for what felt like forever before she found herself reaching a rather large clearing. Perhaps it wasn't the largest one that she had seen, but it was definitely large enough to fit a few soquili. Perhaps she should take a moment to rest before she continued on? Maybe if she waited for a few moments someone else would find her? Lyric debated on continuing, but then her stomach growled and she decided to at least hang around for a bite to eat. Stormflower Ingram continued on his path, it was a familiar one one he had tread many times before. Nothing ever changed even the forest creatures were the same when they scurried up the trees as he came close. He could hear a small stream off in the distance and debated going that way but this time decided to go straight and headed for the small clearing. He knew it was a chance tat others may be there, but there was a chance there wouldn't be as well. He decided to take the chance, but when he arrived at the small clearing he saw another already there. He debated wanting to turn around and leave but he decided to stay as he moved on into the small clearing CheshireKttty Lyric had been grazing quietly for only a few moments before she was interupted. She didn't know how long the strange stallion had been there, for all she knew he could have been watching her the whole time. All that was certain was that he was there now. The mare lifted her head as she heard him approaching. At first, the mare was shocked by his appearance. He appeared to have glowing eyes and well, from a distance, he looked like a skeleton. Lyric knew that her family wasn't exactly normal, but she had never met a skeletal being before. Was this stallion dead? Had he come back a zombie? For a moment the mare debated on running, but, as she got a better look at him, she realized that it was only his coloring that appeared to be so upsetting to her.
The mare felt a wave of relief at this and found herself moving closer to the curious stallion. Now that she knew he wasn't some undead beast, she found herself quite interested in him. "Hello there." She called out to him, hoping that she herself wouldn't frighten him off. Stormflower Ingram was wary of the mares reaction she seemed unsure of him, did his apperance frighten her? After a moment though she moved closer and actually spoke, curiosity getting the better of her, but in doing so he could see her better and saw she herself was a different and he smiled inward. He bowed his head to the mare, "Hello, Im sorry for disturbing you and startling you. It was not my intention, I was just out for a walk." CheshireKttty Lyric studied the stallion for a few brief moments now that she could see him. The bone pattern that she had once assumed were real bones, she could much more clearly now. Indeed the markings resembled a skeletal figure, but they were simply markings. His eyes however, did seem to have a soft glow about them. Lyric might have been frightened, perhaps she really should be frightened, but she only found herself intrigued by the stallion.
"No need to apologize." She spoke happily. "For a moment your markings confused me. I thought I was seeing a skeleton, but I can see now that that is not so. They're really quite unique you know. And your eyes, they're beautiful. I envy you, I wish mine were like that." She told him quite frankly. Lyric had never been one for beating around the bush and why should she?" Stormflower Ingram was taken aback by her words but it shock soon faded into a smile as he stepped closer again. "T-Thank you miss. Most are frightened by my appreance, but I must say I am used to it by now. You yourself are rather unique, and beatuiful in your own right. My name is Ingram." CheshireKttty Lyric blushed as Ingram spoke. She always did love being noticed, but sometimes she couldn't help it. "Why thank you Ingram. I'm Lyric. I suppose that I have my father to thank for these. But I rather like them myself. You only get one body and you ought to be proud of what your mother gave you." She smiled at him, hoping it might make him feel a bit better about his appearance, even though she saw absolutely nothing wrong with it. Stormflower He chuckled a bit. "Pleasure to meet you Lyric. It is different, but I like it. And I indeed am proud of what my mother gave me. She looks like a skeleton as do my siblings. I am not ashamed of my looks. I just dont understand why the world has to judge thos that look different on the outside, why it has to be cruel for those with small differences....judging one before they kmow them. Its not how it should be. I can't see things through the eyes of a foal anymore."

Lyric listened to the stallion for a moment, curious in what he had to say. From the sound of it, he'd been teased a few too many times about his markings. Then again hadn't she? She wasn't sure why, but she liked this stallion a bit more for his oddities. "I'd say that they're the ones who aren't normal." She told him happily. "Besides, who would want to be plain and boring anyway? I like being unique. Even if it means a few soquili drop a few nasty comments. They only say those things because they're incredibly jealous. You would think that they would grow tired of the same boring things." The mare continued on happily. It wouldn't do for either of them to wallow in self pity. Besides, she rather liked the attention. No, that was a lie. She loved the attention. If someone made any remark about her looks, good or bad, she loved it.
