You have been instructed to report to the front gate to meet Masaraku Hoshigaki. She will be administering your Pre-graduation exam exam under strict orders from Nekonosei-Sensei. You will be given a small obstacle course, followed by a simple mission. Afterwards you will report back to Nekonosei-sensei and take your final test. The Genjutsu Kai challenge and then take your actual graduation exam. Failure means that you obviously are not ready to be a ninja. If one of you fails, you all fail. Requirements: One post a week minimum, even if its OOC to say that you are lurking. Qyp: Finish your jutsu in the academy as well as this mission, otherwise you can't actually graduate.

Tenshi had received the note about his graduation and went to the front gate. He was early, as usual, and decided to take a little break for anyone else who was going to show up. He knew Keon would be there and the only other he thought able to be there was the hoshigaki boy who he never really spoke with. I can't wait to finish this thing... let's get this over with!

Keon took his time getting there. Once again deprived of sleep and sore from the work the day before. He was used to it by now. Proof that the great fighter is never at one hundred percent. Keon wasn't too happy about having to meet with Masaraku. It was true that even with all his shamanism and ego, she still managed to scare him. It was a similar effect when around Bumu-sensei. However with his new style under his belt would have no problem dealing with anything in this test, save the genjutsu kai test. Keon still wasn't too confident in his ability to dispel the illusionary techniques.

Masaraku gave an internal facepalm as Keon arrived. Of course Mizuiro would be the last one here. She pushed off of the tree she was lounging on and approached the two. She shot each of them a glance and said, "I know that Mizuiro is a bit behind you two, but this is a team building exercise. If you guys want to do well on your actual exam, you will have to do well as a team, and thats why we're here." She pointed outside the gate and said, "We are going to go to a field to start some pre-mission training, then we'll grab some lunch at this spa thats close by. After that we'll start the actual team building exercise, in which the three of you will have to rely on eachother to pass." She smiled. IT would be a simple game. Three post with three planks between them, supported three feet off the ground. They would walk towards the next post, but if they didn't keep their weight evenly distributed, they would all fall. Simple. She reminded them, "I'm only here in a supervisory capacity. I can't help you, but if I tell you to do something, or to stop doing something, its probably for your own health, so listen to me. If you get injured, you go to the hospital, and you don't graduate. Nor will your teammates, because you have to have a multiple of three. So don't let eachother get hurt either." She was thinking about Batsu the entire time she said that ... some people just could not listen.
((As we all know, that is not what will actually happen, but thats what everyone thinks will happen.))

Tenshi looked over at his new teammate. Keon had arrived about the same time that he did and Tenshi had failed to notice Masaraku. Great... off to a good start. He would have to introduce himself to Mizuiro when time permitted. He hoped that his not knowing anything about the boy wouldn't harm their chances at graduating. He wasn't sure what to bring and decided it best to bring a few things, including a kunai and five shuriken. Would it be enough? Probably not, but it was better than not bringing anything. All of this was stored into the obi behind his back. He decided to wear his kimono for this rather than the usual happi outfit, which was more likely a bad idea. She had said if one failed, they all failed. He hoped that it would be something easy enough for them to get through, and knowing Masaraku, she would probably want to get this over with and go about her own thing. He wondered if she went on a lot of missions... "What are we going to train? Chakra, strength, sneak attack?" He assumed it would be something team related as she had said multiple times, but what would be the core of the training? He had to admit though, the spa sounded rather nice even before the training.

Mizuiro strolled on in, not sure what to make of graduating, at least he knew one of the students on his future team. He looked around, noticed his fellow clan member, that female that always dressed like what his father called, what was it now? He forgot, and probably not worth remembering right now. He needed to concentrate, because his life was gong to get more serious soon enough.

Keon looked at Mizurio. He couldn't think of anyone else to make his future squad better. As he listened to Masaraku talk he couldn't help but think something was up. He brought his Aian Nakkuru with him just in case he had to partake in any fights. He would go along with what she said without a question. However he did trust that she would do her best to keep them alive.

"Alright, now that we're all here, lets get going." Masaraku turned and started heading down the path. Masaraku answered Tenshi's question as she walked. "We will be training you in learning each others strengths, so that when the time comes we can be sure that you will all function well together." As they traveled they would in tome arrive in a filed with three obstacles set up. "Like these challenges, each one of you gets one task. There are three keys that need to be retrieved in order to open the gate to the spa. One of you will need to climb that wooden wall over there to scale the cliff and retrieve the key in the tree that overlooks it." She pointed to another area and said, "Another of you will move on the rope bridges that go over the canyon. There are three bridges, cross all three to get there. Should you fall there is a net in place to catch you and a rope ladder to take you back up, but you will have to start from the beginning of the bridge again if you do fall." She then placed her hands on a box and said, "For the less mature folks we have a bit of a game to get the third key." She flipped a switch on the back and holes in the box began to open and close. "Ten buttons hidden behind the holes. As the hole opens, press the button, but pull it out before the hole closes, and if you are so unfortunate ..." She put her finger in one of the holes and let it close on her finger. Then she showed her bloodied hand to the students, "You will hopefully learn to take things a bit slower. This is an academic challenge to balance out the two physical ones, so once you push all ten buttons the big hole will open and reveal the key." She pointed at the big hole in the box and said, "However, if you feel you are unsuited for these task, feel free to watch your teammates and provide supporting dialog and all of that bullshit." She looked at the three and said, "Questions? If not, please pick a challenge."

Keon looked at the three challenges placed before him. He decided to chose first. Knowing he was the stronger of he three he was lead to pick the athletically challenging of them all. "I'll take the wall, unless anyone has any objections." It was obvious that Keon really didn't care about their objections because he was already walking toward the wall as he spoke.
Keon saw some weights near the bottom of the wall. Strapped on about nine of them and began up the wall. It was an easy climb at first, nothing too bad. it was easy to grab and his foot holds were straight and sturdy.
(Sorry about that didn't think it counted as an action sweatdrop )

Looking at Keon take the climb, kind of pissed him off. But he then knew that he actually should try one of the others, do a skill he wasn't good at, and improve on it. But which one, the bridge or that weird button trap. He took some time to think on it.
After a while, he knew what to do, he went for that crazy button trap. He wasn't really good at this kind of thing, due to some coordination being a bit off at times, but after all he had gone through in the past, he didn't see how he could fail. He just decided to try and push a button. He decided to try and go as quick at he could, really fast, really really fast. His timing was may off, the lid closed just as he went for the button and smashed his finger into the lid. He was in too much shock to feel the pain, the pain of his finger being twisted and dislocated in both joints, pointing all in different directions. "My finger needs fixing." He said it pretty calmly, like nothing happened.Hit the button at EXACTLY the right time. Concentration DC 13 vs (1d20) + 1 (Con) 0/10 (Worst start ever................EVER.)

His finger was very sore, but he knew he had to learn how to repair it himself, but for now, he decided to see if he could used his other hand to push a button, then time he decided to count the open and closing time of the button lids, which seemed to actually be slower then expected. He waited for the right moment, concentration was a very important thing. He quickly and precisely pressed the first button. it didn't even let himself feel it, he just hoped he did get it. The lid closed and didn't open back up with the others. Mizuiro thought that that one must of been done, and it was now nine more to go.
Now that he knew he could do it, Mizuiro had to now deal with his dislocated finger.
Hit the button at EXACTLY the right time. Concentration DC 13 vs (1d20) + 1 (Con) 1/10 ( Why not twenty, dice, WHY NOT TWENTY? D: )

He guessed it was pretty obvious that if they would be a squad that they would need to learn what each other was capable of doing. It could be the death of them someday if they would find themselves not knowing a thing about the other person. He knew Keon was a muscle head, and would no doubt be the brawn of the group. Mizuiro... he had yet to find out and he would find out today or else he would probably suffer Masaraku... and not graduating.
Seeing as Mizuiro grabbed the contraption and Keon used the wall he had the rope bridge. It was rather intimidating and he figured his luck was bad enough that he would avoid the weights. After all he had three bridges to cross and with added weight he didn't want to break through the net! Awareness always prevented danger and harm... unless you were Tenshi had ultimately had horrible luck. Perhaps if this goes well I'll up the ante on the next exercise. Perhaps he should have picked the contraption. He was after all wearing metal gauntlets that would no doubt prevent injury to his fingers, but he had to do with whatever he had. He walked over to the rope bridge and slowly began his walk across. He could tell it had been here for years. The wood was getting rather old and creaking underneath his feet, but he held tight onto the rope railings in case the wood decided to break.

Mizuiro wasn't sure what to do with his finger, it looked painful, but his finger had now gone so numb, most of his hand was effected. He wasn't sure exactly how to relocate his finger, he just looked at it for some time, thinking of different ways to do what he really needed to do. I wondered if he could touch his finger, so he decided to just give it a go. As soon as he just moved the twisted finger even micro metre, he felt pain surging through, worse then when it actually happened. He growled very loudly, he wasn't going to scream or shout, he just growled long and hard. Treat Injury DC 12 vs 1d20. Relocate finger. 0/1

Tenshi continued on his trek across the rope bridge. The noise it was making was giving him a lot of tension and was beginning to think this was not a very good idea. I guess I was the perfect candidate for this. I'm probably the lightest one of the bunch. He stepped a little to heavily on a board as it snapped underneath him. His foot fell through, but luckily he was holding on tightly to the ropes and that was the only thing that fell through. His grip on the ropes tightened as he continued across the bridge. This thing scares the hell out of me! He looked over at his hands, noticing the knuckles turning white.
