thanks smile i was kinda thinkin the same thing but when we got him when he was a pup they said he had lab in him but i dont c it hes to little to b a lab

lol what ever he is mixed with he is a really smart dog he is the best dog i ever had he is so funny tho sometimes every time we go outside he thinks he has to go to so that way when he comes in he gets a treat lol

I would almost confirm Parsons/Jack Russell terrier. His face looks like our Lucy's in structure, and she's a purebred Jack. Jacks are smart, energetic, headstrong, and were bred for hunting. And oftentimes that hunting required them to dig.
I don't see the GSD, though. Maybe a little bit in the coloration, but that's no real indication. xD Lots of breeds can have that patterning. But if DNA says so, then that's how it is.
Have you considered getting his DNA checked if you haven't had it done already? o: It would confirm what he is.

we was but it was way out of price range and yeah he love to go after rabbits lol and birds or any type of little animal outside when we have him on a leach to potty he is really strong tho he even pulls my dad down the road and my mom

Their torsos may also look a little different, but don't forget that the dogs in the pics are posted are very fit, yours could be trimmed down to that shape also. smile

Wait, JRT, really? Aren't JRT's much smaller, and typically white. I can see it maybe a lil in the face, but I really wana say GSD because of the saddle and markings/colors. With a smaller short coated dog.

With a smaller short coated dog. She's asking what mix the dog is. She said (somewhere) they knew it was a German Shepherd mix, but didn't know the other half. Thats where Jack Russel came in lol
