Name: Invidia Nicknames: Invy Breed: Maine Coon Attached to: Nemesis Alignment: Senshi Blood Type: B Height: 6' Fav. Food: Chicken. Hated Food: Synthetic meat, you aren’t fooling her. Hobbies Bird Watching – Birds are flighty little things that are both entertaining and annoying. When Invidia is not busy doing Guardian Cat things, she likes to sit in windows and watch them flutter around. As passive as she might seem while doing so is a misgiving – she’s probably thinking about all the ways she could catch them, even if it’s just a dream.
Hunting – She doesn’t just like to dream about hunting things, and definitely not just about birds. Invy lives for the hunt and will turn just about anything that she can into one. She doesn’t just trap mice and kill them like a good house cat, she also likes to hunt down senshi that need awakening or enemies that need a swift a** kicking. The hunt is her thrill.
Action Movies – What happens when a cat that likes to hunt and fight doesn’t have an outlet? She likes to watch other people kicking a** instead. Even if action movies are fictional, or so hilariously twisted from history that it hardly counts, there is still blood and violence. That’s really all she needs out of a movie. VirtuesFearless – There is nothing too big or too scary to turn Invidia away. She will face the biggest youma or challenge a whole group of Negaverse soldiers if she sees the advantages in doing so (even if her senshi are stuck carrying out said challenge in the end). She is not one to shy away from a battle just because she might come out of it worse for wear and though she doesn’t want to die, she isn’t afraid of giving her life up for the greater good. In war there is no room to succumb to fears and Invy knows this as well as anyone.
Tactical – Invidia lives by the assumption that there isn’t anything she can’t do; no mountain high enough, no valley low enough to keep her from - well, you get it. Even if a task looks almost impossible, she will carefully plan a way to do it, even if it’s by the skin of her teeth. She isn’t going to rush headlong into anything until she has worked out a plan of action, short term or long term, though said plans might rely on some ridiculous chances.
Ferocious – Invidia is vicious and unrelenting. She goes into battle ready and deals with her opponents quickly and precisely. She never hesitates just because she feels bad for someone – tears do nothing to dissuade her from delivering swift justice to the guilty. Of course, most of the time this swift justice is delivered to mice and squirrels - but who is keeping track? She is a no nonsense kind of cat that has a bite just as fearsome as her figurative bark. If anyone thinks she’s just going to sit by and let the senshi take care of business, they have another thing coming. She won't hesitate to bite a few ankles, scratch a few faces, and when the battle is over she will take all the credit for it. Does she care if that Senshi threw the lieutenant through a wall and knocked them out? No, because she totally softened them up first.
Faithful – Invidia isn’t in the business of being fickle, even if she has wicked tendency to hold a grudge. If someone she cares for is hurt or needs help, no matter what problems they might be dealing with on a personal level, she will drop everything to help them. If there’s one thing she has learned from this war it’s that you are only as successful as the allies you have to depend on and without them, you are nothing. Flaws Territorial – Invidia doesn’t like other people in her space or touching her things. In fact, she doesn’t even like when people leave their things in her space. She is pretty clear about what and where she claims as her own and if people just happen to leave their stuff in places that are her personal territory? Well, let’s just say that she is a pretty avid believer in finders-keepers. Maybe everyone else should just be a little more careful of cluttering up her space.
Inconsiderate – Were you just having a conversation? Invidia would like you to think she’s sorry, but she’s really not. In Invy’s land, everything she wants comes before what other people do and she won’t hesitate to interrupt or take something that she wants to use. She doesn’t care if someone was just sitting on that side of the couch, or if someone was already watching TV. As much as she demands other people respect her personal and territorial boundaries, she seems to forget about everyone else’s.
Big Dog Cat Complex - Sure, Invidia is a rather large kitty and an even bigger lady but most of the time? She's just your average Maine Coon. Does this stop her from thinking she is a lioness ready to strike fear into the hearts of a herd? Of course not. Invidia thinks she is bad news walking and even if everyone doesn't know it yet, she's going to teach them. This doesn't always go so well when she bites off more than she can chew and she's ended up with her fair share of injuries from boots and weapons. You would think she would have learned her lesson by now, but she hasn't. She's pretty convinced they all just got really lucky, wait until they catch her on a good day.
Passive Aggressive – As fierce and open as Invidia can be about her opinions, her anger is a very grudging thing. She will ignore people while simultaneously doing things to remind them exactly why she is ignoring them, or just that she’s doing so in general. She has no problem staying right in someone’s way or on top of their things until they finally acknowledge that she is upset. Then begins the process of her informing them just how wrong they are.
