Here are a few things I want to cover in regards to the main plot of this guild... 1 The story's "current" year will be 2026. 2 There will be a war taking place at the start of the roleplay. From what I know of, we will probably begin roleplaying during the middle or end of it. This may or may not change, but if anything, starting the war at the beginning will probably not happen. You can read the proposal for that here.
This proposal is mainly revolving around the Black Moon Clan and the changes we've made to the original Canon storyline for them:
The Black Moon Clan have some weird history which leads to them becoming the Black Moon Royal Family, consisting of Demande, Usagi, Sophie, Ruby, and Saphir. There is some side story drama in regards to how this was all established, mainly involving a HUGE FREAKING WAR, and basically anyone in this group who has the black moon on their forehead and the earrings are apart of the royal family... because of the fact that Usagi won, the symbols no longer determine whether or not clan members are good or evil (or neutral). In regards to the remaining members of the Black Moon Clan, they were "cleansed" of their titles in the group and no longer have the marking. Sorry guys, but that's that. Also... the BMC are apart of the Moon Kingdom with Usagi. Again, not evil characters, just royal blood. If you have questions, ask them here.
I'm sure there are other royal members, but for now, that's the basic family. As you can see... canon is NOT going to be strictly followed in this roleplay. However, there is a TON of discussion that goes into changing Canon, and the basics will not be ripped apart (i.e. Sailor Moon being ultimate senshi and whatnot). We are the Gemstone group, so we are revolving the storyline around all of the Gemstones (not just the immediates). This is not a Canon based roleplay, but more so a twist from the Canon storyline. Please keep this in mind.
Now, as far as the storyline afterwards goes... there was a looong discussion on towns tonight, mainly regarding this Black Moon concept and Nemesis. Most of this involved Ruby and Sophie (Sailor Sapphire), yes, but it does affect the majority of the story as well. This is why I am making this a proposal.
Plan A: Ruby and Sophie, the daughters of Demande and Usagi, are the ones who would inherit the Moon and Nemesis crystals upon the retirement/death of their previous owners. This would not necessarily be in actual formation during the majority of this roleplay; it would probably just be known that they would ultimately inherit those crystals when it was their time to do so in the future. As far as who receives which crystal... Ruby would have the Nemesis crystal, and Sophie would have the Moon crystal (no, she would NOT become Sailor Moon). That, or because they are twins, they would share a crystal somehow.
The interesting thing about the Nemesis/Moon crystal idea is that it ties in well with the story about Saphir kidnapping Sophie under the assumption that she is his biological child (in reality, she is Demande's child). Saphir could be led to believe that she possesses the Nemesis crystal, and since the general idea is that he "created" the Biyotik senshi on Nemesis and raised an army there, he would use Sophie with her alleged crystal to his benefit. He would believe she is the possessor of the Nemesis crystal when, in reality, Rubi is. It'd be a neat little plot twist for the Black Moon family.
Plan B: There was a bit of a debate on towns about whether or not there should be a Sailor Nemesis. The majority of those who were there tonight said that they liked the notion of having one, while another disagreed and felt there shouldn't be a Sailor Nemesis.
To sort of appease both sides, another storyline we could consider is one in which there was a Sailor Nemesis (who could possibly be "invented," somewhat like a Biyotik Senshi), but she was ultimately destroyed during the Black Moon battles which established the royal family. As a result, Saphir decided to take over Nemesis and create the Biyotik there. This could also address the "inheritance" issue for a potential Nemesis crystal; because the sailor senshi of that crystal is gone, the question in regards to who would possess it afterwards would arise. This could also play a part in the current battle for the roleplay.
Plan C: We could also have it where all inner senshi have "mini-crystals" that power up the "main crystal." If anyone wants to expand on this, be my guest.
Plan D: The final idea that was proposed tonight was to have Usagi possess the Moon Crystal for good, Demande possess the Nemesis crystal, and have the Gemstones just be pretty gemstones. ;o
--------- I know this is very much centered around Ruby and Sophie, but this proposal mainly is about them. By no means does this mean that we cannot discuss the other senshi, or that Ruby and Sophie are the superior senshi of all others. That is not the case... at all. It is simply addressing the Canon changes we have made to the story and developing the war that we will all be roleplaying a little bit more. You are all more than welcome to start up discussions on the other senshi in this subforum. In fact, I would really appreciate that. PLEASE do so!
I also realize that a lot of these "plans" could be combined. If there's a combination/edit of these that you'd like to suggest, post it. Sorry about my horrific grammar, I'm incredibly tired right now. D:

-focusing on plan B for the moment-
What if...Sailor Nemesis was invented, then destroyed. And then Saphir, with massive amounts of research and study of the remains (if there are any) of Sailor Nemesis, used her to create the Biyotik Senshi in an attempt to recreate her for some reason or another. She could be like the "mother" of the Biyotiks. Maybe there is something about her that drives the Biyotiks to do what they do?

It would really help tie in the Biyotiks and give them a bigger role, too. I love that... x3
This may sound a little silly, but maybe someone can add on to this: since in this roleplay, Demande is apart of the moon or something of the like, Saphir could maybe have some sort of desire to overthrow him for some reason or another. Maybe, as a response to the Black Moon Family's new arrangement, he could have been "exiled" or something along those lines and sent to inhabit Nemesis... Thus, his attempt to establish his own kingdom and create a senshi of "supreme" Mary Sue-esque powers could be apart of his attempts at overpowering the Moon Kingdom. idk... xd
xd I know, I'm just pulling stuff out of my a** right now... lol

They would deffinitly need some kind of distinguished weakness though, because nobody likes Sues. lol! Maybe they each have some kind of weapon or device that amplifies their powers until it is destroyed, then they are just as powerful as the rest of the senshi? Now you have an image of Sailor Nemesis stuck in my head. Makes me want to write a ficcy for her back story or how she died. xD

Maybe have her death in the distant past be the reason the planet is barren and disfigured. The illustrations all show it as being black and oddly shaped, not a sphere like planets are supposed to be. That would explain her mysterious absence in cannon... Her death would have had to of been during or before the first moon kingdom... and would have to be so devastating that she never reincarnated ...otherwise Nemesis would have healed by now. It would make sense if Sapphire lives past Sailor Moon R, he would learn like we all do, that Senshi and their planets are linked. If he wants to restore his planet... he may want to recreate her. The Biyotiks could be the failures. And when he finally gives up.... he invades earth... BAMN! Plot holes closed!

-now focusing on plan c-
Ok, so if there is a main crystal, and the inners have mini-crystals to power it, could the others have shards to power up the mini-crystals? Or maybe form a barrier around the inners while they are powering the main crystal? Or.....-forgot third idea-

I know that there's a major attack that the immediates can do that sort of imitates the whole thing with Sailor Moon and the inner's combo attack, maybe we can apply this to the immediate's powers, if anything... maybe have it so that, in order for them to do their strongest attacks, they need a "charge up" of some kind from the rest of the inners. I don't know, anyone wanna kind of... polish this a little? x)

Isn't this awfully similar to the mechanic that happens at the end of each season? Sailor Moon needs more power... the other already defeated senshi get all glowwy and lend her power... and she's suddenly strong enough.....

Sailor Moon needs more power... the other already defeated senshi get all glowwy and lend her power... and she's suddenly strong enough..... When we have a large amount of gemstones in our guild like we do, this "plan" would make it it very difficult for the Gemstones to enact their 'ultimate' group power during the roleplay. This isn't the same as a TV show; roleplays require everyone to be involved, or at least, for this power, it does.
The only reason I'm adding that is so that if we do decide to do this idea, it'll help tame the mary sue-ish aspect the immediates have because of the ability that you keep complaining about. xD It's not really mary sue to begin with, but it would just be one more thing to take it a step further away from being close to it. So yeah, having the inners help "charge" the immediates would make the four of them strong enough to use the attack, like in Sailor Moon, but it would still hurt them. It would also add more importance to the inners and make the combo attack more of a group effort roleplay-wise like it should be. We're not going 100% canon, so I don't know why that's an issue honestly.

Relaxxx woman. Not everyone has to like bloody every idea. Otherwise you'd never try to improve upon them. sheesssshhhh. My point here isn't that it's Mary sue.....it's not. Its just.. unoriginal.... Its basically already in the cannon..... and in the cannon of every other magical girl series in existence... And why add the restriction?.....even if this makes it in.. we'd never get it off because there's ALWAYS someone on hiatus in a RP guild.....

That's all very true, but at the very least we would still be following a Sailor Moon-esque type of element. Not everything has to be completely original. ^^ As for the hiatus...that's probably the biggest problem to this idea. At the same time it would make us less likely to use it. But if we DO manage to have everyone online when the attack is needed, it makes it all the more special for us. xD
