She is adorable! Aww, how sad for Piper that her momma rejected her. :c But at least she still has someone to love and care for her. Good luck with Piper. <3

Piper is soooo cute! I wanna cuddle with her and take cat naps with her- sorry, lol. it's too bad her mom rejected her. I've seen some cases like Piper in the past- especially out in the country. It just makes me so sad.
Welcome Piper! heart

I'm super excited because she just hit a big milestone- She can pee on her own! That's right, I had to rub her with toilet paper to get her to pee. But she peed on Julie (the person who takes care of her during the day one weekdays) so that's my big birthday present, not having to molest my kitten anymore <3
Her full story and little quirky moments: We got a call one day from a family friend, and asked us if we could do him a HUGE favor. He told us that a friend of his owned a car shop on some farm land, and a cat there had rejected her kitten, and that he thought it was around weaning age, and could we take care of it? We said that we'd take a look, so we went and bought her some milk replacer, a bottle, and a flea comb (to be safe). We quickly discovered she was not 7 weeks but 2. Her eyes were barely open and she didn't know how to drink from a bottle, so we syringe fed her and she licked formula from the webbing between our index finger and thumb. Later we put the bottle in her mouth and squeezed it. Now she knows where to put her mouth and knows almost entirely how to suckle right, we still need to squeeze the bottle though. But she's learning how to purr, her eyes are bright, her milk teeth are coming in, and her balance is improving.
Quirky moments with Piper: She was sitting down, she looked at me, and fell right onto her back. She started mewing and freaking out, but when her paw touched her yellow blanket she stopped and started purring. I was tickling her tummy and she was getting fiesty so I mewed a few times to get her to slow down, so she chomped down on her own leg and squealed.
No one can take her, she's my baby.

She looks just like our Kerith when we took her in. Minus the nasty upper respiratory infection and crusted up eyes. This is her all grown up.

She's doing wonderful. I really should start a blog about her.
Accomplishments: Has started eating a KMR/Natural Balance Canned Ultra Premium mix. Is eating about an ounce of KMR per meal Has learned how to walk without falling over Has won the approval and guidance of Annabelle Has began to learn how to run Has started to learn how to pounce Teeth are coming in, her fangs are all the way in Has had her first nail-clipping Sleeps through the full night No longer requires the heating pad Uses the litterbox Doesn't need to be rubbed to produce waste Has POOPED! (hadn't for multiple days) Has developed a strong and healthy purr Dreams Has gained a lot of weight and now has a 'kitten tummy'
Today she was walking around the house and found a space under the cupboards and crawled into it. That's right, she got caught in the cupboard boards behind the DISH WASHER. It HAD to be something expensive and essentially non removeable. But she found a little space to turn around and crawled back out.
