I have been wanting to get mine pierced forever! I would do it in a heartbeat if I had the cash and wasn't afraid of the pain sweatdrop lol
I've heard stories of how it hurts super bad. And gets infected easy.
Does it hurt more then getting your ear-lobes pierced? How much more do you think?

When I actually got it pierced, I thought it's hurt 10-20x worse than it did. You feel the pressure and a little sting when the needle goes through, and that's it, in my opinion.
I had no pain at all until roughly 5-6hours later and it kind of ached. Other than that, it's not been hurting. Just dull aches here and there. And I hit it by accident and it hurt for like 10 minutes. like, actual pain in my opinion. but it's not too bad.
Just have to take care of it. I haven't even had it a full 24 hours yet.

I used to have my ear pierced there too!
I miss it, it got infected and wouldn't heal so I had to take it out. Though, I had it for about 5 years before that.
I don't think it hurt at all, unless I accidentally hit it. Other than that, really, it just throbbed a bit when it was first done for a few hours.

I got mine pierced over the summer
I thought it would hurt like getting shot in the stomach but it didn't ^ . ^
IT was a real bother to take care of it everyday
but a lot of people ask me about it so i guess it was worth it ^ . ^
My mom however kept asking me if i wanted my cartilage pierced XD

My mom keeps like grouching at me if I don't have all my hair pulled back, even if it's not touching the piercing, and like, making sure I clean it and such. inky6 That's awesome! I've been meaning to get mine pierced but haven't gotten it done yet. You should~ (:

Lovely, I have a Helix on my left ear on the top. Mine stung like a b***h. I swear I saw stars when they peirced mine and it felt like a bee sting for a few days.
They can get infected easily, mine got swollen a few months back because the back of my earring was too tight and I had to take it out for a day. Mind you, mine has been peirced since I was 18, I'm 21 now. ='3

Sadly I haven't any pictures.
My camera is broken so I cant take any either.
But I plan on getting more piercings in the future and I will post pics of those when I get them. biggrin
