Huang's ear fin twitched at the other man in annoyance. It was as if Kiran was seriously trying to tick the Assassin off, or at least get him to step out of his calm collected mode. Which in truth, was happening. He was getting impatient playing this game with Kiran and just wanted to know if Kiran had heard anything about his mother!
"Women talk too much anyways." Huang cocked his head at the other boy, "Tell me Kiran, did you hear anything about a woman named Chi Lee with those large eavesdropping ears of yours?" Huang smiled cockily at the other boy, "Or are you just trying to entice me with nothing more then Hot air?"
"Not as Sore as you probably was, Was it worth Kiran for that fishing hole? I hope all the fish you ate were either skin and bones, or you didn't catch any at all." Huang gave the same cocky stare back at Kiran before waving his hand with the needles, intently aware that in fact, Kiran had removed his tonfa's. So it had come down to a fight regardless, and the only way for Huang to escape now was prove to Kiran that he was in fact, Much stronger now then he was before. Even if he didn't win, he would send Kiran home just as bloody and bruised.
"Enough talking then Kiran, we know what has to be done." Huang smirked at the man before lunging, he wanted speed and ferocity in this fight. His needles lay in between each digit that made his infamous needle like claw weapon, a remembrance to the weapon he had furnished himself in the name of his dead friend Yuan, The same weapon that he had battled Kiran with the first time they fought. His escape away resided on a time Limit, and the clock was starting to tick fast!

Kiran's hands tightened their hold on the handles of his tonfas, his knuckles turning white with the hard grip. Any of the other new recruits might shake with fear when facing off in a real battle, their nerves getting the better of them and forcing them to leap blindly into action at the smallest indication of movements. He faced off against Huang before, though, even if it was only a mere squabble over the rights to a fishing hole. It gave him confidence to fight, having won once already. Huang might have grown up since then, but so had Kiran. If Haung believed this would be an easy victory, Kiran would make him think again.
Kiran snorted his agreement. Women did talk too much. Or at least, a large majority of them anyway. "Hm," Kiran pondered, trying to place the name. "That does sound familiar." He tapped his chin lightly with the butt of one tonfa as he continued thinking back to the conversation he overheard. Then with a nod, he turned his attention back to Huang. One eyebrow arched upward in curiosity. "Yes, I do believe that was the name."
His eyes narrowed at Huang. "Actually, I've caught quite a number of large, fat fish." He thought the victory of the fishing hole was well worth it. That fishing hole remained one of his favorite places for its seclusion, as hardly anyone bothered to pick their way through the thick forest to find that particular spot. His eyes watched the needles, wary of their sharpness. But this time he wore arm guards to protect his forearms, and his tonfas would add a measure of protection as well.
"Then come already!" Kiran snapped then nearly choked on his words as he shifted quickly on his feet to avoid the sudden lunge. Huang had speed, that was without question, but Kiran wasn't a complete slouch either. As he twisted to dodge, he countered by bringing an arm around, aiming for the spot right under Huang's arm.

Huang wouldn't let Kiran bait him, he wouldn't let him bait him, He wouldn't let him. Oh goddess above this man was beyond infuriating him before he could even get the truth out of him. If anything from the past fight said anything, this was sure to be explosive battle of past enemies. Bataar was a true enemy to Huang, Would Kiran prove to be the same? It was time to test out the their new powers.
He tried not to laugh when Kiran snorted and watched as they at least one thing they agreed on. There was very few women that Huang had known that hadn't participated in the event of gossip after all. Even men had a ear fin perked at the sound of drama. For without drama there wasn't entertainment after all. He watched Kiran contemplate the name before gritting his teeth. "So she was what, Seen with young noble Captain?" Details Kiran, DETAILS.
And he lost it. That train of thought was hidden away as he cursed the young fisher with slimy skinny ones and he was sorely disappointed that Kiran had in fact caught big fat fish instead. Augh, why couldn't Kiran have some sort of string of bad luck after meeting Huang. Or maybe it was fated that Huang have the bad luck of meeting the other. Obviously so, first he lost the fishing hole and now, he had lost his chance to talk to Ringo...yeah bad luck.
"I hope you at least choked on the fish bone from one of your fat fish." Huang looked away mumbling the curse before his attack started.
"Its already begun Kiran! Don't slack off while we fight or I will be disappointed in you." Huang watched in danger as Kiran dodged his lunge and almost immediately retaliated with his tonfa's. Moving his body just as quickly, He twisted his body so that the brunt of the attack hit the back of his shoulder instead of the tender area of his under arm. He took a deep breath as a splintering pain resounded through his whole body.
"Dangerous." Huang looked at the Tonfa's and growled, those weapons would be the dangerous of this fight, he had severely underestimated Kiran's skills with his newly acquired weapon after all.

"Maybe. Maybe not." Kiran shrugged with one shoulder as a sly smirk twisted upon his lips. Even if he wanted to continue needling Huang about his mother, he didn't have much more information to go on. All he had managed to overhear that day was the name Chi Lee and some comment about a Noble, possibly a Captain. After that, he hadn't heard any more details on the matter, though the women doing the gossiping hardly sounded pleased with Chi Lee's association with the Noble, whoever it was.
His attention darted quickly toward the direction where he had last seen Captain Ringo, though by now, the man was beyond his sight. He probably moved on to yell at some other poor soul that had done something wrong in his eyes. With the way that his attention kept centering on the news about his mother, Kiran wondered if Huang's mission at the Noble camp was of the more personal nature. But he also wanted to leave Huang believing that he knew more about the association between Chi Lee and the Noble than he actually did.
His counterattack hadn't hit exactly where he wished it to, but it had delivered a strong blow regardless. Kiran gritted his teeth. He would need to be even faster to keep up with Huang's speed and to land the strikes that he wanted. He skipped back a step to put a small amount of distance between them. "Oh, I wouldn't want to do that," he said with a sneer as he twisted one tonfa in his hand, making it spin a full rotation before the long end settled back along the length of his forearm. "I would be so devastated if you were ever disappointed in me."
He still thought he was better at hand-to-hand combat, having spent more time training without a weapon. But the tonfas really had been the best choice for him, and he was growing more used to them the longer he trained with them. He eyed the needles fitted between Haung's fingers. While his arms were well protected, the rest of him remained fairly well open. He would have to remain alert of any swipes or stabs with those needles to avoid any deep cuts that would hinder his ability to fight.
"But then, I beat you once already. Beating you again shouldn't be too hard." A cruel smirk curved across his face. He didn't wait half a second more before launching the next attack. Closing the gap between them, he pulled his arm back then brought it around for another hard strike with his tonfa. His eyes kept watch on Huang's hands, wary of the needles.

"Maybe? That's the best you can give me after talking so big about this??" Huang gritted his teeth in anger, all he wanted was a confirmation. All he wanted was information, funny that he should expect such annoying character like Kiran to actually drop the big news for Huang. He had confirmed though that Chi was here, and that she had been seen. That's all he needed from Kiran, It was time to get out.
He shuffled his information around in his head as he thought of how to file this. Though he wasn't able to talk to Ringo himself yet, it was still nice to note his location. With Kiran around though, and the fact that he was attacking him, made it hard for Huang to compile the information in his head. All the facts: Ringo was here, Chi had been here maybe with another Noble Captain and Kiran had heard this from women's chattering. Good.
When the Tonfa's hit, it had sent a shudder of pain through Huang's whole arm and caused him to wince every time he moved himself to attack again. Kiran was strong, and smart, this wasn't the same boy who Huang had lost to in the beginning, no this was another dangerous fighter.
"Yes, I suppose though, If I was disappointed in you, It would mean you were dead." Huang sneered back as he sent a handful of needles flying at the other man, "I can imagine that most people would be severly disappointed in the kid fighter who couldn't beat an enemy fresh from the Academy." Huang said as he replenished his weapon hand full of needles.
"Beating me once..." Huang remembered the broken ribs and pain he had endured from their first battle, even now his shoulder throbbed in pain as if the pain from his ribs had moved locations. No he was older, smarter and better now. To lose this battle, it would only be because of Huang's inept for channeling information in the battle as well. Distracted, he didn't see Kiran move in as he thought of the best counter attack and barely avoided crippling his arm as the tonfa swung at him. "Damn! Your too quick." Huang felt the new excitement for battle rising in him, something he had come to terms with after assassinating and never really meeting a head on enemy. He actually smiled at Kiran's attempt to break him, attack after attack. "I think I might like sticking around and playing here with you Little Kiran." Huang teased, sending the mocking words to the younger fighter.

Kiran almost laughed out loud at the furious look on Huang's face. "Oh, dear Huang," he said in a teasingly sweet voice, and he almost found it difficult not to snicker. The smile stretched from ear to ear. "Would you really expect me to give out all the details?" He made a tsking sound as he shook his head. While he didn't have any more details on the topic, pretending to certainly was having an effect on Huang. But if he did have more information, Kiran would probably lord it over Huang instead of revealing anything more anyway.
Part of him was actually surprised that Haung even believed anything that was coming out of his mouth. Kiran doubted Haung had any reason to believe that he was speaking true. After all, he could just as easily lie to get a rise out of Huang and provoke his anger. While lies and deception could be dangerous tools, Kiran found truth could just as deadly a weapon as anything else.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want that," he said flatly with a quick, sharp snort. When he saw the needles flying at him, Kiran dodged, using his tonfas to block and deflect the needles. He succeeded for the most part, knocking away most of the needles. But one or two managed to hit their marks and pierced into his side. His eyes hardened into a glare at Huang as he ripped the needles from his body with a wince. Blood dripped from the wounds, staining his clothes. He didn't think the wounds were too deep. But he couldn't let the pain hinder his concentration on the battle.
Kiran growled deeply when his attack failed to hit as he wanted, in fact completely missing as Huang managed to dodge it. He grinned at the comment though. When he fought Uncle, he had to be quick to avoid get his feet knocked out from under him. "You're no slouch yourself." He gritted his teeth as the move had pulled at his wound. Then he laughed, and no bitterness entered it. "Even if I end up beating you?" He moved quickly into another attack, fully aware of the throb from the two little punctures in his side. But a thrill hummed under his skin. Huang hadn't been a push over in their first fight, and he was just as much of a challenge this time around. But what good was a victory easily won anyway? It would be nothing to brag about.

Huang could do nothing more then grit his teeth. Kiran was after all playing with him, look at that stupid big smirk along his face that just said, 'yeah I know something you don't but why should I tell you anything after all?'. Its was beginning to grate on Huangs already frazzled nerves. Anger was, in fact mounting on top of anger the longer he talked with the other fighter.
"Don't call me dear, and stop with your foolish smiling, It's creepy." Huang retaliated back, his face returning to the stoic disgust he showed for nobles alone. "I would expect you to join the massive amount of nattering gossip hens, since you seem to be fond of listening in on them. You know what they say about gossip? It never stops, it just keeps coming around and around again. Even if you don't tell me, someone will." He shrugged it off and focuses on the fight now.
"You being dead? Or the fact that I would've won?" Huang smiled crookedly as his needles hit the boy's side. Success, though the tonfa's were pretty dangerous. With weapons like that, Kiran reminded Huang of the first boy he fought with a similiar weapon. Yuudai had used tonfa's in their fight too, it was silly to think that because Kiran's looked slightly different that they would be a different weapon. They were even more dangerous in Kiran's hand then they were with Yuudai.
"Of course not Lord Kiran, Hate to have my own life ended in the midst of its prime. I was trained for battles like this." He snorted as well as they continued their speed battle. "As long as I ain't dead when you beat me." Huang shrugged, he liked battling Kiran, it was nice for once to have some of equal skill to him. It was hard to find someone just as speedy as Huang was himself, so to have Kiran match him? It was a thrill, a battle thrill.
"The battle needs to draw to an end though Kiran. It looks like the Nobles are coming back, and I have no time to stay around and play with them too." Huang's eyes darted around as Kiran attacked, smashing his tonfa into his side sending a shock wave through his whole system. "Dammit, this is what I get for not paying attention." Huang watched as blood spit up to his mouth, darkening the corner of his lips.

The comment caused a laugh to bubble up and out of him. Creepy? That was probably the first time anyone had described his smile as creepy. He couldn't see his smile, but in this situation, he guessed he would have to believe Huang when he called it creepy. "You know, you should try smiling every once and a while. Otherwise, your face might get stuck in that scowl." Kiran briefly wondered if it hadn't already gotten stuck that way. He didn't think he had ever seen a different kind of expression on Huang's face. But then, they hadn't had many encounters beyond that time they fought.
"I'm nothing like those gossiping 'hens,'" Kiran said with a shake of his head. "As much as I keep an ear out for secrets whispered among the gossipers, I'm not in the habit of going around just spilling them to anyone." He still couldn't understand why people who wanted to keep secrets would so easily go around whispering them to friends. If he had anything that he wanted to keep quiet, he certainly wouldn't tell anyway. At least, not where others could overhear it. And even then, he would be wary of exactly who told a secret to. Kiran rolled a shoulder. "Then I guess you'll just have to go hunt down those gossiping hens."
Kiran actually pondered that for a moment. Neither of those options were particularly pleasant ones. "Well, I suppose being dead would at least let me avoid the humiliation of losing to you," he responded in a distracted tone. But then he turned a crooked grin back on Huang as he held up one arm before him. He kept his other arm pulled close to his body, protecting the area where the needles wounded him. "But I assure you, I won't go down that easily."
The battle only helped to convince him that he had made the right choice in weapon. In a battle of speed, the tonfas light weight didn't burden him and their length didn't entangle him and trip him up accidentally the way some of the longer weapons might. After training, he might learn to wield a staff or swords just as well, but he still preferred the tonfas. "What a tragedy that would be!" And in a way, Kiran did believe that. Who else could match him in a battle like this where attacks were swift? He might not like Huang, but he could still respect the man's skills. And fighting someone with as much, or more, skill would only serve to improve his own battle skills.
Kiran focused on the attack, throwing his strength into it. His tonfa landed a powerful blow, and only afterward did the words reach him. As Huang recovered, Kiran risked a glance away from the fight. "So it does," he growled, not happy at seeing the other Nobles making their way in their direction. He was enjoying this battle with Huang and didn't wanted it interrupted by the rest of the Noble camp swooping in to capture the Legionnaire that sneaked into their camp. "I guess we don't have any more time to play around. Too bad, this was getting interesting. But maybe another time?" His leg swept out and around, trying to knock Huang's legs out from under him.

Huang was surprised by the laugh out of Kiran so suddenly that he just stared at the other man. Was...really? Kiran was giving Huang tips on when to smile? Wow. Huang's face deepened at the mention of his scowl, making the expression worst. "Sorry that I don't go around with a creepy smile, smiling at poor innocent souls. You remind me of that crazed killer entertainer, smiled even in the midst of their killing. Augh." Huang shook his head, "I don't understand smiles. And I don't scowl. Its expressionless face Kiran. Perfect face for a Assassin." Huang growled out before regretting his words, why was he arguing with Kiran over expressions? No, Time to end the battle.
"Your everything like the gossiping hens there Kiran." Huang shook his head back in a mock indignation, "Just because you won't share now doesn't mean that one day you won't tell someone. and that someone will tell another. It's a cycle after all." Huang nodded his head. Who knew best about gossip after all then Huang did? It's what most of his information was based off.
"Haha." Huang laughed now, the scowl disappeared for one split second. "I guess we'll never know will we Kiran? As I don't plan to die and it looks like...." Huang cringed from the pain on his side, "I won't be winning this one either." Huang coughed as more blood came up, wiping it from his mouth he looked at Kiran who was starting to get bleary in his eyes. "Easily, sure. Try not to." Huang was starting to lose focus as the pain blinded him.
The next blow was going to end Huang if he didn't move. One more hit, he was out for the Nobles to kill him. He didn't dodge the next attack though as Kiran tried to trip the older fighter. He used the momentum to place his hands on the ground and propel himself away from Kiran. The move cost him gratly though as he shifted away from the nobles and Kiran, making his escape route.
"Looks like it's time for me to take a hike. You win this time Kiran." Huang coughed, "But I'm sure I'll see you again, next time I'll be more then words." Huang grimaced as he slinked into the forestry's shadows and disappeared. Leaving Kiran to his noble army to explain the situation.

"You keep saying it, but I find it hard to believe that my smile is that creepy," Kiran argued. It amused him the first time, but now he was starting to feel a tendril of offense. His smile may not be the warmest thing at that very moment, but he couldn't imagine that it would match with a crazed killer. "And just so you know, I haven't killed anyone, let alone smiled while doing so." A joker and prankster might be used to describe. Psychopathic killer? Certainly not! "I don't know. You look rather angry to me." He tried to mimic the expression on Huang's face as proof.
Kiran rolled his eyes. "But you see, there's a vast difference between me and those hens. I," he pressed a hand still tightly gripping his tonfa to his chest, "am only hinting at what I've heard to you because you happen to be involved in it while those hens will blab secrets to any passing person. This is the only time I've spoken to anyone about something I've overheard. But if you're going to accuse me of gossiping, then next time I overhear something about Chi Lee, I'll be sure not to mention it to you."
He shook his head like he was disappointed. "I thought you would be grateful to know that little piece of information. Though I guess the implications aren't exactly the greatest news to hear about." If he ever learned of his mother, or anyone in his family, suddenly getting familiar with a Legion Captain, he would probably be angry with the news too.
He would have gloated hearing Huang admit defeat, but the rushed ending to their battle left him a little frustrated. Would he still win if the Noble troops weren't heading back their way? With the way Huang was coughing up blood, Kiran thought perhaps his victory was ensured. That blow must have been harder than he realized. He nearly moved to follow Huang as he disappeared into the shadows, but the Nobles were already in range to spot him.
"I look forward to our next meeting." An excited thrill ran through him as he wondered how much stronger Huang would be by then. Kiran holstered his tonfas before pressing a hand to his bleeding side. He would need medical attention, though the wounds were as bad as they could have been. Mostly he was dreading the yelling at would come from having broken ranks and gone against orders.
