Once upon a time in Phonyland, in the less magical "Admin" section of town, there sat a man behind a desk. He was in charge of the Marketing and Public Relations department. His job usually consisted of deciding on exactly which shade of pink on the welcome sign will most make patrons spend money on the product. He also was in charge of placing the pizza order for every company party (which he always thought there should be more of, but never brought it up to his bosses).
One day, he was staring out his window at all the frolicking, plastic Phonies. He noticed that aside from just loving running, the products were starting to form emotional attachments and beginning to love each other. Well, if two Phonies could fall in love and make a whole collectable family set, why couldn't the rest of them! So he set to work at figuring out a way to expedite the process, and jump on this whole "babby" fad while it was still hot.
Then it came to him, speed dating. Everyphony could get together and talk to every other Phony that they maybe hadn't had many interactions with yet. Why go fishing with a rod, when you can use dynamite! DISCLAIMER: **Phonyland staff is not responsible for any limbs lost during the speed dating process should you actually decide to try to find a mate by using dynamite**HOW THIS WORKS:The room is set up with small tables forming a circle. Each table has two chairs that face each other. The idea is that each Phony gets to ask every other Phony three questions. No skipping over Phonies that you might not necessarily like (this means, yes, everyphony unfortunately needs to talk to TACO).
Part One:
To make this easier, your Phony is going to be asking the same three questions to every other Phony. Simply make a post where your Phony enters the room, and then preps their questions.
Example:
TACO swaggered into the room. He knew already that every lady there wanted him, but this process would confirm it. Besides, TACO was always one for finding the quickest way to a good time. That's what this was all about, right? Getting laid? Oh yeah. TACO could get behind this speed dating thing.
He thought of the best questions he could. How the ladies answered would determine the order in which he would get together with them for a second encounter (because, of course, everyphony would select TACO as their favorite dude there).

If you could be with TACO for only one night, how would you spend it?
Hypothetically, if you were stranded on a desert island with TACO, and could only bring one karaoke CD with you, what song would you like TACO to sing to you repeatedly until a rescue team arrives?
Only, we recommend that your Phony asks questions that are a little less self-centered and more meaningful.

Wilma slunk into the room, taking up residence in a dingy corner. It... had seemed a lot brighter beforehand, but Wilma carried with her the pressing aura of cheap liquor, bad perfume, and unfortunate life choices. Wilma was not a phony. If one wanted to be... specific about it, one could say that she(?) was an abomination or a monstrosity or maybe a good girl who was just... a little down on her luck and only gonna do this once. She'd been that last one once, hadn't she? But whatever Wilma was, she was here for the speed dating! With ponies. Plastic ponies. Wilma was pretty sure she could get along with plastic ponies- after all, some very important parts of Wilma were plastic! Can you still charge 'em when you're just answering questions? Wilma was about to find out. Noting the rules on the board, she scrawled three questions on a napkin, memorized them, then stuffed the napkin into her cleavage, which enveloped it completely. You lookin' for a good time?She hoped that at least one person would take this as a deeply psychological query and not a proposition. Stuff like that always made her giggle. Still mulling the recent wedding over in his mind, Negative the phony had easily been coerced into the speed-dating venture by his unsteady friend, TACO. He was pretty obviously distracted when he entered the scene, and wondered what kind of questions he could possibly ask a lady to determine if she'd love him the way Yawn and Tangles loved each other. in the end, he settled on these three, which he rehearsed aloud while he was still alone;[color=#594b5f]Wouldjer call yerself a nice person?[/color]

Like Negative, the recent marital bliss of Yawn and Tangles had got Candy Cane thinking. Now that Yawn was clearly not available (not that C.C had entertained any fully formed thoughts upon stealing her away, but clearly the sleepy Phony was the standard for the perfect partner) it was time for her to start searching Phonyland for love. Or maybe not. Either way she figured this was something to do, not to mention she was a little bit lonely. Okay. Questions. The red and white Phony settled herself down and got to thinking. It was possibly unwise to put the ‘make or break’ question first, but C.C figured that if they couldn’t pass that, she didn’t want to be let down later on when they failed it. Why was she here? Bon Appetit sighed a bit but had made up her mind to be more social. She was far too shy with males and her sister did tease her a bit. Not to mention there had been a wedding so relationships seemed to be on everyone's mind. When she had originally heard about this speed dating she thought it was a lovely idea. After all she was so shy it would be nice to get out of an uncomfortable situation quickly! She thought carefully about the questions, wanting make sure they would be nice ones. Silent Quill frowned at the instructions on the board; Fireflight had said this was a feedback centre, but the guidelines looked suspect. Quality Control, evidently, had failed again. Nevertheless, he formulated the questions - a note would have to be made to overhaul this feedback centre into a much more professional operation, but the department's pressing need for customer responses necessitated immediate contact. " This place," he had said quickly, a hoof gesturing wildly, " is ...is a feedback centre! Where people sit and give...feedback! To improve things, you know," he'd nonchalantly tossed his head. Noel looked left, then right, to make sure no phony was watching, then quickly scrabbled her questions on her card. The embarrassment if every phony knew that she was using a speed dating service! She just couldn't handle it, she'd die on the spot! Piling all her hair under a fashionable broad brimmed hat, braiding and styling her tail so it appeared to be shorter and and hiding her cutie mark under a stylish dress, she pushes a pair of fashionable sunglasses on her nose and she tries to appear casual waiting for the speed dating to start. She took a seat and sighed, the colt was so brightly colored. The plain black and white phony was not impressed. How could she answer this? She didn't really like anything about this Phony? But it would be rude not to say anything, even if he did insult her when she was younger. A different name? She had always liked her name, it seemed to be very appropriate but she gave it some thought, "Culinary Cutie?" she giggled.

Noel the fashionable phony in the room at her table and waited quiet anxiously for others to come to her table and ask her questions. When TACO came to the table she hid the face she made under her hat and talked slowly to try and hide her accent.

Glico wandered in, slightly late due to stuffing himself on pocky. TACO thought it was awesome that everyone showed up here for his "girlfriend for the night" tryouts. He knew everyphony loved him, but this really did confirm it. He could not be happier with how this was turning out. Somewhere in this crowd was that special lady that he was going to lay tonight.
Out of the corner of his eye, TACO spotted a true vixen, a lady of class and refinement. Sexy, yet not trashy. A bad girl, yet oh so good.
He wasn't quite sure what kind of Phony she was, but they broke the mold when they manufactured her. TACO turned his swagger up to 11, and did his best strut up to her. Oh yeah, he knew how to work it.

Well, there's this one move I like. You put one leg behind your head, and the other three are used for jumping up and down on a trampoline. While you're doing this, I'm juggling three lemurs and reciting poetry. Works every time.
