Altair's journal is not actually a journal. It's a sketchbook in which she occasionally writes in, but mostly just draws in. The sketchbook is sprial bound, the cover is red and has her name written on it in black sharpie. The pages are worn, mostly from being handled all of the time.

Altair is very much a combination of her parent's personalities. She's got Deskri's grumpy attitude, but Sonnet's sharp wit and eyes. She's not likely to erupt into screaming hissyfits like her father, but she is likely to give you the silent treatment or give you the look of death she seems to have inherited from him. She's a fast learner, it doesn't take her very long to figure things out, and once she does she can do them without supervision. She often teaches Kindle to do things once she has the hang of them.

Altair can think quickly, even under stress. Though, sometimes she is known to get more upset and frustrated in situations rather than be able to think her way through.
►►Loyal
Altair is loyal to friends and family who are loyal to her. She'll watch your back, and let you know if anything is going on. However, if you've proven yourself to be a flake, she's less likely to watch out for you.
►►Realist
Altair is neither optimistic nor pessimistic. She simply looks at reality, and will adjust her course of action should she see it heading down the wrong path. This means she can speak rather harshly, but she's only speaking the truth and in the end is looking out for the well being of anyone involved with what's going on.

Not in height, in patience and temper. Altair can only handle your s**t for so long, and after that, the gloves come off and she's not afraid to let loose a string of insults targeted at your self-esteem. She never seems to lose her temper with her immediate family, though.
►►Controlling
Altair does not like taking the backseat in things. She wants to control everything. EVERYTHING. And she doesn't exactly hide that fact from anyone. When she's in charge, she'll give very specific instructions and if something messes up, she'll go off the deep end.

Altair is very specific about most things, including who she'll hang out with. You may not know if you are considered a friend, but she does. She draws very specific lines between herself and people, only allowing certain ones to know certain things about her.

►►Drawing
Altair loves to draw. She gets better at it the longer she draws, though it does help that Deskri will sit down with her and help her work out her issues. She does like to draw by herself though, since Des's style is very specific.

Altair loves to build things out of paper. If it's too complicated for her to make herself, she'll follow instructions elsewhere and put it together manually instead of commanding her own paper to fold and shape itself.
