xxxxStonewall Prison, located in South Blue, is frequently used to hold those pirates and criminals assumed to be of lesser value than those sent to Impel Down. When sailing up to the island, there is a steel wall 1,000 feet high around the immediate island. The wall itself is hollow with four gates (each facing a cardinal direction); which are opened only for marine vessels and must be confirmed access by the highest ranked officer aboard the ship. Once inside, the gates close behind the ship in which a second steel gate (only 500 feet tall) is still trapping them. Connecting the gates are a large wooden platform, in which guards can go through to inspect the ships for unauthorized passengers. After this, the second gate opens, allowing the ship to dock on the island. The island is fairly small, with a large building (made of, you guessed it, steel) in the center. The prisoners are held inside by steel bars and seastone shackles, if necessary. The ships have to go through the same thorough inspections before leaving, preventing any prisoner stow-aways. There are three levels of security, should a prisoner attempt an escape. A prisoner would have to fight the respective guard for their area, the vice-warden before getting off the island itself, and the warden before making it through the first gate. Few escapes have been attempted, and none have succeeded.

Important NPCs
Section 1 Guard: Agatha Agatha, the weakest of the guards, looks after the prisoners with no bounty.
Section 2 Guard: Ryuzaki Ryuzaki looks after the prisoners with bounties below one thousand.
Section 3 Guard: Ryder Ryder looks after the prisoners with bounties from one thousand to one million.
Section 4 Guard: Itumi Itumi, the strongest of the guards, looks after the prisoners with bounties above a million. This section is constantly changing, as prisoners are constantly being carted to Impel Down.
Vice-Warden: Reira Reira is a giantess that guards the island and waters surrounding Stonewall. She carries and fights with an iron war hammer.
Warden: Tamaki The strongest fighter in Stonewall, Takmaki fights with steel wires invisible to the naked eye. He can usually be found between the two walls, and should an escapee make it that far, they'll be met by his generally nice, but unforgiving attitude.

Padraic awoke to the squawking of gulls, the rocking of the ship, and the dull pain which remained in his back, chest and jaw. His previous assumption that someone had hit him in the face was more than likely true. With a strained groan, he stood up; it was much easier to do so now that his hands were in front of him. Luckily, he was tall enough that he didn't have to tip-toe to look out of the porthole. It was high up and tiny; he assumed it was made that way to discourage prisoner's from bailing out.

On the approaching horizon, he saw... a wall? "What the hell is that?" He asked himself, wondering if there was an island behind that huge barrier.

Do you even know

Areta was tired of prison. Sure at first it was fun to slip powders into the guards collars and watch them scratch for hours at the 'magically appearing' rashes, but she was starting to run out of powder, and had no way to make more. Without any sort of entertainment to occupy her time, Areta was all too aware of those in cells near her. Sometimes she heard screaming or shouting as they fought among themselves and those who held them prisoner.

The worst was moaning. It gave her instant goose flesh all over her body. Some of the men were in pain from injuries that had begun to fester, she could help them if only the guards would let her. For now, she could only sit and wait. Surely her sentence would end soon, then Areta could go back to her lab and her family of beakers and chemicals.

Lee and his crew were slowly approaching the giant wall, but nobody would take notice until they were right on the wall, because they were covered with there smoke screen which to most people it looked like mist."Sai lower the smoke levels, we are getting close to StoneWall." Lee shouted .

xxxxxZeke woke up just in time to get ready to meet the ship inspectors. He was laying in the infirmary, his chest bare save for the bandages wrapped around his chest and arms. He chuckled, "I'm really a mess, aren't I?" He said aloud, quietly as not to attract his nurse. No, that devillish woman would give him a concussion, then force him to stay awake through the hand-off, lest he fall into a coma. In fact, she was going to do that either way; what better way to delay the punishment than going to check up on the prisoners before dropping them off at Stonewall?
xxxxxZeke grabbed a shirt off the table (a clean and pressed one... his old shirt was laying in a shredded, bloodied heap on the floor) and slipped it on, buttoning it up. For a moment, he actually looked like a businessman, before slipping on his overly casual white jacket with the marine symbol on it. Peeking his head out of the room, Zeke looked both ways, like a child sneaking away from their parent's watchful gaze. As was easily predictable, a marine was stationed in front of the door, guarding him. I wonder if I'm being guarded to keep the pirates from killing me in my sleep, or so that she-devil can kill me when I wake up... Zeke thought, a bead of sweat dripping down his forehead. "A-ah! Captain Montelle!" The guard said, shocked and immediately moving into attention. "Clarissa said that you shouldn't be-"
xxxxxZeke brought a finger to his lips and made a 'shh' noise. "First, call me Zeke. Second, pull the stick out of your a**. Third, Clarissa says a lot of things; very few of which I listen to. Now be a sport, and should she come back, tell her 'don't come in; he's nakey.' Understood?" It wasn't much of a surprise that the soldier was at a loss for words. "Good," Zeke said, slipping out of the room and down the hall. Looking both ways, he slipped down to the prisoner holding cells. Noting Padraic had adjusted his shackles (and gotten re-bandaged overnight... or maybe Clarissa had come in and dealt him a blow to the head for reopening his wounds. It was a likely possibility), he grinned looking at the group. "So, how're they treating you, guys?"

Padraic lifted his head to the sound of Zeke's voice, and nodded a quick hello. "Aside from being beat upside the head by a nurse?" He asked with his signature grin, then proceeded to add, "It's great, except for the room service. I'm pretty sure I asked for baked ham, and instead I got burgoo." Padraic wasn't about to let Zeke see how much his damned back hurt, so putting on this casual attitude was the only way he saw to avoid that, but the lack of spirit in his eyes probably gave him away regardless of his efforts.

"Mind telling me what that giant wall is outside?" He asked Zeke out of curiosity. "I've never seen anything like it." As a shipwright, it was only natural for the man to wonder what it was, how it was made, and how much material had been used. It was just plain sad that he didn't seem to understand that the crafted wonder would be his prison.

xxxxx"Ah, you've met Clarissa," Zeke said, smiling. "Shame about the room service, though. This particular suite never catches the chef's attention. You won't have to worry about that much longer, you're about to be transferred to a larger and more permanent settlement. Perhaps you'll find it more accomadating there." Zeke said. Usually, Zeke wouldn't bother talking to the prisoners, but he'd came down here for one reason and one reason alone; Padraic. Padraic was the kind of guy Zeke loved to mess with, and he'd have to be insane to pass up the opportunity provided. However, he noted the shipwright's interest in the island. It brought with it the sad note that he was taking these people to jail, where they would sit and rot. He thought about mentioning that they wouldn't be in this predicament had Jason not charged him like a half-derranged animal, but decided against it. Instead, he replied, "That, daddy, is Stonewall Prison. Why it's called 'Stonewall' when the wall is actually steel... well, your guess is as good as mine." Zeke made a clicking noise with his tongue, then looked back at Padraic, "You're lucky. You and Yuuki both. You probably won't have permanent sentences but her," Zeke indicated to Luci, "...She's probably headed for Impel Down. Count your blessings for that, I suppose," Zeke said, frowning. The frown was filled with a rare sincerity most would never see from the sarcastic and laid-back captain. He hadn't gone to Yoroi to make arrests. And from what he'd seen, Padraic wasn't a bad guy. He hadn't seen much of Luci. Sure, he didn't care for Yuuki, but... the other two just didn't seem deserving of their punishment.

Don't let the darknes,

Jason opend his eyes in the middle of the interogetion room. He looked outside and noticed the stone wall they were heading. "Stonewall prison,... I taught they were sending us to impel down. Mmm... no worries then" Jason said as he stood up, looking around. He opend the door with his theeth and saw two guards standing in front of him. He duck between them and knocked them out with one hit. "Damn... they got some weak s**t here..." Jason said looking to the two. He tried to do the clothes of the marine on so that he would be noticed less, this was a problem because of his cuffs but it slightly worked. He then walked to the kitchen en opend the door of it. With his hands and cuffs out of sight, and his hat before his eyes, he knocked down the four marine chefs with his feets. the food that they were making was eaten by Jason in an instance. "Smcack... mmm I.. teught thet preson wuuld be .. shrunk smack... werser..." Jason tried to say on his best. He closed the kitchen door so that no one would find him. Hoping that they would forget about him.

Padraic simply shrugged at this. "I wouldn't say I've met her, more or less, I've met her fists." He chose not to keep up the 'room service' act, seeing as he just wasn't in the mood to continue it. He waited for Zeke to answer his first and second question, nodding slowly to show that he was listening to the man. "Prison eh? Never thought I'd end up there." Padraic sighed, shaking his head solemnly as he spoke. This was one of the few times you'd see Padraic so down, usually he'd have some kind of witty remark or sarcastic jargon that would allow him to keep his own mood out of the dump; today he had none.

"You wouldn't have grabbed my hammer by chance... would you?" He asked, half-way knowing what the answer was going to be.

xxxxxZeke nodded. If this conversation was going to get serious, he was going to lose interest very quickly. When he mentioned the hammer, Zeke was relieved for a change of topics. "My men did. The swords will probably be given to the guards, the hammer they'll probably just melt down for raw materials somewhere." Zeke was about to mention something else, when a scream that sounded like a banshee's shriek sounded from the top deck.
xxxxx"Zeke!"
xxxxxAnd, that was Clarissa's cue to enter, and as such, Zeke's cue to hide. He dove recklessly behind some stacked crates, deciding to save asking why there were stacked crates down here for a later date. As Zeke was out of view, a woman with long, wavy black hair, a thin waist and a large bust walked in. "Dammit, Zeke, I know you're down here! You weren't supposed to leave the bed!" she yelled, an unnatural fire lighting her eyes. As she got down before the prisoners hold, she put both hands on her hips, eyes scanning the room. They finally landed on the one waking prisoner, Padraic. "Where. Is. He?"

Padraic frowned. He'd put so much into getting that hammer just how he liked it. "I'll make another one." he stated optimistically. It appeared as though Zeke was going to say something else, but never managed to get it out before someone screamed.

At the sound of her voice, a smile broke out across Padraic's face. So I'm not the only one she abused. Seconds after Zeke hid himself, Clarissa came in. Padraic found her pretty to be honest, as he always seemed to have a thing for women with spunk. He opened his mouth, then shut it. Probably deciding whether or not to say something like a smart a**. Seeing how fired up she was, he chose no too. "Just missed him." he replied, but not before purposefully glancing at the stacked crates. Think of it as a fun farewell, Zeke.

Jason had enough to eat and he pushed the chefs with his feet under the table so that they wouldn't find them. He walked out again seeing two guards walking down the hall. He waited t'ill they arrive and then he saw his sword, flute and luci's and padriac weapons beeing carried away. "Dammit no one touches my fluuuute!" Jason said jumping in the air and kicking the two guards KO. He then fell on his knees because of his wounds and the handcuff. He took his flute and sword with his theet and kicked Luci's and Padriacs weapons with his feet. He kicked them somewhere the marines wouldn't find them. "Now... what is there else to do here?" He asked himself as he silently made his way trough the marine ship. Hiding whenever a marine came across, or knocking him out.

xxxxxClarissa noted Padraic's purposeful glance, her gaze filled with a fiery temper. "Dammit, Zeke, don't try to hide from me!" Clarissa yelled, grabbing the cutlass from one of the guard's sheath. Both men shrank back as she slashed at the crates. At first, nothing appeared to happen, but then, the crates slid down, cut cleanly diagonally cut line. Clarissa wasn't even a swordsman; that just proves the saying 'hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn.'
xxxxx"Ah. Clarissa. Fancy meeting you here," Zeke said, deciding to play innocent. "Remind me later to yell at the people who clean down here. This floor is filthy."
xxxxxA loud 'smack' could be heard as Clarissa hit her captain in the head, leaving behind a big, bulging bump on his head. She grabbed the hood of Zeke's jacket and dragged him towards the stairs. "Come on, idiot, you've got to be ready to meet the ship inspectors. Say goodbye to the prisoners."
xxxxx"Goodbye to the prisoners- with a special shout out to daddy~" Zeke said, winking at Padraic. That wasn't the end of his harassment, either. He had an idea for a parting gift to the shipwright, but for now, Clarissa had pulled him to his feet and pushed him menacingly towards the stairs. "You know, Clarissa, you're the reason I dislike women."
xxxxx"Zeke, just shut up and go get ready."

Jason said as he looked where the man was going. "He must be the inspector... this going to be fun" Jason said as he started to throw food on the ground and break things as quiet as he could. After that he hide behind a box t'ill he came across.

Padraic shook his head with a smile. He sure was glad that he was behind the bars and safe from Clarissa's wrath. Just in case, Padraic took a few steps so that he was as far away from the bars as possible. His eye twitched visibly when he noticed Zeke's wink. Ugh, that still freaks me out no matter how many times I see him do it. When the two of them were out of view, Padraic returned to the porthole and studied the steel Stonewall towering above them. Zeke was right; it was a dumb name. Now all he had to do was wait for them to put him in his cell, and his freedom would be gone.
