She rolled over, expecting there to be more floor, or mattress, or whatever she was sleeping on. Instead, her hammock rocked and she rolled right out of it, and right onto Luna's. Luna still asleep, grunted and groaned, but didn't awaken- thank God for that. Sunny rolled off of Luna's hammock in a neater fashion, sneaking out of the cabins and into the hallway. "...where am I?" she asked no one and nothing in particular. She was used to the feeling of waking up in strange places; something that was terrifying to others, but familiar to Sunny. She knew Luna was here, too, so she knew they weren't in danger.
xxxSunny found the kitchen easily and started rummaging through cupboards and the pantry, looking for something to eat. They had that half-skinned elephant tuna on their old boat, but obviously, that wasn't accesible now. She faintly realized she was wearing different clothes, but marked that up to Luna watching out for her. She found some meat (ham) and some bread and decided she could make a fried sandwich. She'd never done it before, but there was a first time for everything, right? Sunny cracked her knuckles and grinned, setting out the ingredients. "It's go time," she said, enthusiastically going after her ingredients with a knife.

 You'd be surprised what Danny could and could not hear in her sleep. On the sea, she would sleep through the rocking of the waves and the screeching of the gulls. On some occasions, like now, she woke up easily to the sound of footsteps. Her lazy eyes cracked open to watch Sunny leave the room. Danny had chosen a hammock high up, so it was not surprise to her that she hadn't been noticed by the girl.
With a long yawn, Danny slid out of her hammock. I should at least introduce myself. She thought as she slowly made her way into the kitchen. She hadn't even bothered to gussy up... With her hair all over the place, sleep bags still under her eyes, and a slouch that gave away the fact she wasn't fully awake; it was obvious she wasn't a morning person. "You sure sleep soundly." The girl said, announcing her presence.

The knife flew into the air, landing with it's blade planted into the wood of the cutting board, a centimeter away from her wrist. Sunny stared at it for a second before jumping back and screeching. She looked to Danny with a awkward, nervous laugh. "I'm... uh... not feeling so great." She laughed a bit, though she was telling the truth. It felt like something in there was disagreeing with her, and if she wasn't careful it'd come back up. Hence the early breakfast; she thought maybe eating something would quell her stomach's protests. "H-hi, I'm Sunny. Are you this ship's owner?" She held her hand out for a handshake, to be polite as she smiled brightly.

Danny nearly leapt a mile high at the sound of Sunny's squeal. She found a hand hold on the door frame so she wouldn't fall to the floor. It was rather obvious that she scared easily. "It's fine..." She breathed out heavily, dismissing Sunny's cover up.
Reaching out, she took Sunny's hand and shook it. "We've already met unofficially." Danny stated. Then realizing that it might not make sense to the girl, she followed up with, "I'm Danny. I helped your sister save you... you were kind of unconscious." She smiled awkwardly, hoping that that hadn't sounded too strange. (( ._. Gross Factor: In like a weeks time... that's gonna come out. ))

((Aaaaaactually... It's something that stomach acids can't dissolve, think of it like gum, unless you puke it up, it'll sit in her stomach for about 7+ years xP))

Ichigo The Bunny ((Aaaaaactually... It's something that stomach acids can't dissolve, think of it like gum, unless you puke it up, it'll sit in her stomach for about 7+ years xP)) ((In so far as I knew of, it doesn't actually finish digesting gum either. In all logical sense, rocks don't float. They obey gravity and have zero buoyancy. Therefore, whenever the stomach finishes digesting something, like a meal or whatever and it passes it on to the small intestine, the rock should go with it. Sunny would end up passing it along with other waste. :p .... Hooray for biology and anatomy classes? ^^:; ))

Does it have mass and therefore weight? If so, then it doesn't matter what kind of rock it is, as it will sink. Unless we somehow come to the conclusion that rocks float. Anyway, Mika's decided to go with the more "traditional" methods of dealing with it, so I'll leave it to her. ))

Sunny asked, always to naive to consider the fact he'd turned on her. She turned her back to the counter, leaning against it. Her knees felt weaker than usual... and she felt a little lightheaded. Maybe I should sit down, rather than fix my sandwich... Sunny thought, though she didn't move towards the table at all. "I suppose that makes sense, since he's a marine and all. It's kind of sad I didn't get to say goodbye, though, I was planning on trying to get him to join the crew." Sunny brightened a bit, looking to Danny, "Oh! Since you're on the ship, does that mean Luna got you to join the crew? We're always happy to have new people aboard, and I'm sure you'll be very helpful!"

"Soren?" Danny repeated the name, seeing if she remembered. That must be the name of that marine... "He tried to arrest me... We high-tailed it out of there before that happened though." She smiled inwardly when realized that she had said high-tailed. Ha... tail.
"Well no..." She admitted, feeling that she would be letting the girl down. "Your sister offered me a ride in exchange for helping her." Danny reached up to roughly run her hands through her hair.

Do you want a sandwich, while I'm in here?" She asked, starting to fix up her own. She added ham, cheese, a very thin layer of mayo and some weird seasoning she found in the pantry that smelled nice and she wanted to try out. "If it's not to rude to ask, what do you do, Danny?" She asked mostly for the sake of conversation, however, she was truly interested in her. She seemed nice, from what Sunny had seen so far, and if she had a useful occupation, Sunny would definitely want her in the crew. Still she stopped before eating her sandwich, looking to Danny, expecting an answer to her first offer.

"Sure, if you don't mind." Danny replied with a nod. She couldn't help but feel a little sorry for disappointing the girl. The least she could do was accept her offer. Danny watched hungrily as Sunny prepared her own sandwich, and although it was very simple, it still looked tasty. What do I do...? She thought, knitting her brows together in thought. It's not like she'd ever given herself a particular title or occupation. "Well, I'm pretty good with the weather... and I know my way around a ship." Danny had always thought that most people could do these things... as most of the ships she had tried to board already had someone for that job. "It's not much, but I'm proud of it." She smiled proudly.

She asked, before she let herself continue and ruin someone else's sandwich. She listened to Danny's explanation of what she did and lit up like the fourth of July. "So you're like a navigator, then!" Sunny fought the urge to add, we could use one of those. Instead, she maintained her regular, bright smile. "That's a good thing to be proud of. It's more than I can do- or Luna, for that matter. We're both pretty much bad at navigation. Before this, we had a really small boat that only held two people. While it was really easy to steer, we never really had a set direction. Until I me-" Sunny cut herself off mid-sentence. Where was Alka? Was she swimming beneath them, or something? Sunny shook it off, assuming her sister wouldn't leave their first mate behind at a marine base. "So... Danny... is there anywhere specific you needed to go?"

Danny replied with a polite shake of her head. To be honest, Sunny's cheerful disposition was a nice change of pace. Since she'd started traveling alone, Danny had often found it difficult to find kind people; aside from the men looking for cheap entertainment... Men, ugh. "I suppose you could say that." She said sheepishly, it wasn't often that someone showed any type of interest in her. As Sunny told her story, Danny couldn't help smile; the girl was growing on her, that's for sure. Disregarding Sunny's slip-up in her speech, she paused a moment to roll her question around the 'ole noggin. "No where really," Danny admitted, "I sort of wander from island to island."
