The Blistering Sands
This vast wasteland of sand is harsh on all accounts. it is blisteringly hot during the day and bone-chillingly cold at night. Poisonous snakes, scorpions, and other dangerous animals roam the land and with the lack of any defined structures to use as shelter, one must take careful heed of such creatures. The winds blow sand in all directions and unforgiving sandstorms rage across the dunes, making the lands impassable for days at a time. The conditions are harsh and the land unforgiving. Only those truly prepared to journey across it survive.

Havik Tajutsu // Suna Sp. Jounin // Seven Tailed Host Walking under the hot sun in his large coat Havik seemed utterly unfazed by the blistering heat, but under his clay transformation jutsu he was his body was sweating just like any other. The long stride over the dunes were starting to wear at Havik, the heat, his heavy body sinking in the sand with every step, it was bothersome, and annoyed him, but he kept his frustrations inward keeping a calm, nonchalant look over his face as we walked at the head of the group. A swift change of the wind and the scent of sweaty bodys that were not his squad caught his attention. They were a while off, and because of the shifting winds Havik could not pin point a location, so he stopped and said "Time to set up camp, the sun will fall soon, and I have a bit of training for you three." Havik decided not to bring up the fact he thought they might be being followed, he doubted either of the Genin had developed there senses enough to notice the presence that was far off in the desert, and he wasn't even sure himself if it was anything to worry about. Telling the caravan, and it's manager to move forward about twenty five feet, Havik closed his eyes, held a hand seal and thought. A tall, fifteen foot high wall, at the top another wall connects to it slanting downward for about ten feet, then stops. Five more feet to the right of of the downward sloping wall was another that stretched ten feet, stopped and then left another five foot cap to another wall that lead to large, elaborate three story building. Quickly, Havik ran through a set of seals and the earth started to shake, slamming his hands to the ground, the shaking got worse, and the sand started to rise, parting and bringing forth the obstacle course that Havik just thought up and leading to the large house. Placing his hand on his knee as he stood up, and let out a deep sigh, "Okay..." he started to say, the stamina, and chakra he just used making his words sharp, and winded. "This course is for you three to learn the wall running jutsu. You will need control over you chakra to learn this technique, focus to the bottom of you feet and..." Havik focused his chakra and started scaling the first section of the course with ease. Motioning to the GEnin to move to the side to get a better view Havik said "Once here you do the following." After that Havik jumped to the downward slanting wall and ran down it, once at the end he jumped to the next wall, and kept running to it's end, and then finally over the last gap to the final wall leading to the house. "Now get to training, if you don't get through you sleep outside, and eat rations instead of what I cook." and with that Havik walked into the elaborate house which was raised from the ground around the caravan and it's manager who started yelling, and screaming about the rudeness of what Havik just did, this kept up for about five minutes until it suddenly stopped... "Respect my home and my comrades, or I will kill you."

((This post is super long guys sorry! Skip past the training posts if you'd like since that's mainly for the jutsu.)) Luo Ushio Sunagakure - Weapon Master - Genin - Ranmaru Eyes As Luo trudged through the desert albeit slower than usual, his tunic ruffled in the strong wind as Luo's goggles shielded his eyes from pain. He figured out along the way to continuously recycle chakra just under his feet to prevent them from sinking. Having been deemed gifted in the art of chakra control, it was a task that he could do with certain without fail. It was then however that Havik began to speak. Luo wondered why they were setting up camp so soon, it had only been two or three hours.
It was then that Havik mentioned the wall walking technique. Apparently they were to learn it that day or else be forced to sleep outside; something that Luo thought about doing anyway since the goods would not be stored in the shelter. Sighing, he walked over to the structure and placed the bag at the foot of it so that even when climbing he could keep an eye on it. Forcing one seal in order to concentrate a bit more chakra to his feet, he stood with his eyes closed for a moment.(1/4)
As he stood concentrating, he allowed only thin whisps of his chakra show as it streamed down to his feet. He concentrated hard and made sure not to overdue it with the chakra. Too much and he wouldn't be able to move, but too little and his feet won't grip the wall at all. He also took note to continue recycling the chakra like he did with the sand. It was exactly what kept him going, and it seemed to be essential in executing this technique correctly.(2/4)
Releasing the seal, Luo placed his right foot on the wall first. He pushed and pulled it a bit to see if he was getting enough traction. Attempting to pull his other foot up with the rest of his body however, he realized he didn't. Quickly placing his left foot back down, he sighed staring at the wall. He then thought to himself for a second to set things correct in his head. "Perhaps an extra burst of chakra is needed in order to make any adjustments to the original amount supplied. So right when I attempt to pull my body up, I have to let just a little more chakra out in a burst."(3/4)
Breathing in and out once, Luo attempted to lift himself onto the wall once more. This time however, a burst of chakra was let out as he lifted himself up, quickly readjusting the chakra in his left foot as well to support the full weight between both chakra balanced feet. At first he just stood there sideways for a moment. Then however, Luo's natural affinity for testing himself came through. He wondered if he really was as good at chakra control as his academy exam review said. Running up the wall Luo flipped backwards and off of it, his eyes grazing over the bag he was to protect. His feet neared the wall again, and he pumped chakra into them steadily, adding more and more to add traction to his sideways falling body. Dust and little pebbles kicked up behind him as he slid to a halt just before the ground. (4/4)
Walking up the wall once more however, as he reached the top Luo realized there was more to be done. It was in fact a mini agility course, something Luo was quite interested in seeing as how speed and agility were his top two attributes. Follow that up with his specialty in chakra control, and Luo gathered if he really focused enough on it as a whole, he could make it through without a hitch. He did however note wind and wind changes that were sudden, so he couldn't simply assume his movement to act correctly. Looking at the small course, Luo memorized it as he took it in. The most difficult thing he saw in the course was going from vertical to horizontal, but it could be maneuvered rather quickly. Sighing Luo jumped back ten feet, landing in front of the first wall with enough room for a head start. It was then that he jogged forward a bit and picked up the back, jogging back to his starting point.
"If I can't figure out a way to maneuver with this bag I'll have more problems than necessary. I'm only as good as my biggest weakness and right now, it's this bag. So...." As what Luo muttered to himself seemed to give him a bit more resolve towards the task he had given himself, he exhaled with his eyes closed and began to breathe in. Without hesitation, he began to swing his body around 360 degrees, the bag in his right hand. After five strong turns, Luo let go of the bag as his right hand came up, allowing it to sail upwards near the top of the first wall. Testing his speed, Luo bolted the moment the bag left his hands. His sprint was quick and his form well kept as he began pumping chakra to his feet a yard away from the wall as he jumped towards it.
Landing already five feet up, Luo righted himself quickly as he switched to being horizontal to the ground. The adjustment was a bit shaky as Luo noted, being sure that next time he adjusted the chakra he used for impact and recoil. Continuing up the wall, Luo grabbed the bag as it seemed to crest its toss, pulling it behind him as he rushed downwards. This next wall was a slightly sloped downward run, giving Luo a bit of a running and strength breather, allowing him to simply pull the bag behind. As long as he kept his speed up, the bag's weight wouldn't fully kick in until the end; essentially Luo used gravity to carry most of the burden.
As he neared the end of the slope, Luo peaked the next bit which he considered the hardest part. Forcefully swinging his right hand forward as the bag arced forward. Just then, Luo himself leaped off of the downward wall as if rolling diagonally, avoiding a five foot gap. He tucked his knees into his chest as his body flipped diagonally, allowing his legs to drop down in time to allow his chakra laced feet to grip the wall. Rushing towards the end of that wall, ten feet before hand, Luo pumped more chakra into his feet as he caught the bag with the same hand, struggling with the weight for only a moment without halting momentum. Swinging it once more upwards, the bag was launched halfway up the last wall.
At Last, Luo used the same maneuver he did to get onto the wall meant for running sideways but reversed, crossing over yet another gap. Landing on the final wall, Luo kept his speed up as he just barely caught the bag at its final crest, pulling it behind him with gravity once more on his side. Launching over the last wall with a front flip, Luo placed the bag on mid-flip and clutched the straps as he landed; one knee up, one on the ground, and his left hand on the desert sand. Taking a moment to breathe, he stood at last with a big smile, proud of what he had accomplished. As long as he could keep that up in battle, the bag wouldn't be too much trouble. Except of course while lugging it. Walking forward and turning to wait, he wondered how his other squad-mates would fair with the obstacle course.
Kinobori no Jutsu (Tree Walking Technique)/Kabenobori no Jutsu (Wall Walking Technique) By focusing chakra into the soles of their feet, a shinobi can attach themselves to a hard surface, such as trees or solid walls and walk or run up them with ease. A careful balance must be struck between applying too much chakra, which would crush the surface on contact and thus make you lose your footing, and applying too little chakra causing you to fall off the surface. (This technique costs 2 chakra points to initiate, but has no retention cost) [This jutsu does not count towards an RPC's jutsu limits] Chakra: 25/25 Stamina 23/25 Element: Suiton Attributes: Primary: Speed - Secondary: Agility - Tertiary: Intelligence Specialty: Chakra Control - Stealth "I'm more capable than you think, make no mistake."

 Katsuro Konaga
Weapon Master || Konaga || Genin || Sunagakure ||
Stamina: 59|| Pain Level: 0 || Status: Healthy || "You can always choose your own actions...Staying near the rear of the convoy, Katsuro left himself alone with his thoughts as he looked out over the desert sands. Despite the blazing heat of the desert, Katsuro did not sweat a drop, the change in temperature barely registering. Spotting a wake of vultures circling their next meal in the distance, Katsuro's thoughts wandered back to the day after the bijuu had been unleashed on the village. There had been vultures in the air that day as well. You weren't able to help the last time disaster fell on Suna. That won't be the case ever again..., Katsuro thought to himself, his right hand tightening into a fist.
As Havik stopped the caravan, Katsuro wandered to the front just in time to see him make the elaborate stone structure and give instructions for them to practice the wall walking technique. Raising an eyebrow at the rather conspicuous building, Katsuro simply sighed before walking to the wall. Compared to his family techniques, this would be a simple task. A few feet from the building Katsuro jumped up as he channeled chakra into the soles of his feet. Landing on the balls of his feet, Katsuro immediately judged that he would need slightly more chakra to maintain his grip on the wall and adjusted accordingly. Placing his hands in the pockets of his trench coat to keep it from dangling behind him, Katsuro calmly walked up the length of the wall before stopping at the top, looking down at the sloping wall. [1/1 Kinobori no Jutsu (Tree Walking Technique)/Kabenobori no Jutsu (Wall Walking Technique) learned]I think it's time I got this over with, the azure-eyed Konaga thought to himself as he pulled his hands out of his pockets. Bending his legs at the knee, Katsuro shot off down the wall, effortlessly adjusting his chakra flow with each step. As he neared the gap, Katsuro kicked off of the sloping wall to land once again on the balls of his feet. But as his feet touched the wall of the building, a splitting pain lanced though the young Konaga's skull, causing him to lose his footing. Immediately throwing his hand towards the building, Katsuro channeled chakra into it to keep himself attached to the wall.
Gritting his teeth, Katsuro lifted his leg to take a runners stance before pushing himself forward, moving at an incredible speed for a genin. As he crested the top, Katsuro grabbed the ledge of the wall to pull himself up and flip himself over the top. Tucking his legs as he sailed over the gap to the house, Katsuro threw his legs out just in time to land, his legs bending at the knee to help displace the force from landing. Rising to his full height, Katsuro crossed his arms across his chest before turning to see how the final member of their squad would fair.... but you rarely get to choose the consequences." Orion Ekisho Sunagakure/Ninjutsu/Genin/Crystal Release Orion was towards the back of the caravan on the side opposite of Katsuro as the caravan made its way across the desert. As the wind kicked up and caused his open coat to flap behind him, Havik called for the caravan to halt and said he had some training for the three genin. As Orion walked over to where he stood, Havik slammed his hands to the ground and created a series of four seperate walls along with a building. Before heading into the building himself he told them that it was to train the wall running jutsu and showed them how to do it. Since Luo was closer to the wall to begin with, Orion waited until he was done and did the same for Katsuro, who looked ready to do it the moment Luo finished. Once his fellow genin were through, it was Orion's turn. Orion simply looked at the wall before him and began channeling chakra to his feet. He knew the basics of the technique already, both from watching those who had gone before him and from a few books he had read. All of a sudden, Orion ran at the wall, choosing to run up its side from the bottom rather than jump onto the vertical surface. As his foot made contact with the stone, he adjusted the chakra flow so that it would stick fast to the surface. As he went to take a step he weakened the flow in the foot he needed to lift, before restrengthening it as it touched back down to the stone. He continued to do so with every running step up the fifteen foot expanse of stone, stopping at the top. (Kinobori no Jutsu (Tree Walking Technique)/Kabenobori no Jutsu (Wall Walking Technique) 1/1 Learned) As he looked at the sloping wall, he thought to himself a moment. He wasn't as fast or as agile as the others, but he was smart. Nodding to himself, he rushed down the sloping wall at a slight angle that would end a little before the wall's right corner. Once he was at the edge, he pushed off of the edge with his foot at an angle to bring him parallel to and low on the wall by the end of the arc. As he was in the air he pulled his legs up, though not as quickly or smoothly as Luo, and kicked out at the wall, attaching his feet. It was a bit jarring, but he managed to pull himself in with his knees after the impact and continue running with only a marginal loss in momentum. He ran to the end of this wall and jumped to the last one, running up to its zenith and jumping to the sand in front of the other two genin with both his knees bent. He straightened up and looked at the two of them before nodding and heading inside. Jutsu used: Kinobori no Jutsu (Tree Walking Technique)/Kabenobori no Jutsu (Wall Walking Technique) Rank: D (no cost due to chakra control) Chakra: 35/35 Stamina 25/25 Element: Doton Attributes: Primary: Great Chakra Reserves/Secondary: Intelligence/Tertiary: Cunning Specialty: Summoner/Chakra Control "Strength isn't everything." ((OOC: Sorry if the ending seemed odd. I couldn't tell from everyone's actions if the last two walls were supposed to be l l or T.))

Luo Ushio Sunagakure - Weapon Master - Genin - Ranmaru Eyes Following Orion after he finished the short trial, Luo turned and walked inside the temporary sleeping space. Placing the bag down in a corner, Luo laid out his sleeping mat and sat on it with his legs crossed. He could hear the manager yelling at one of the workers for dropping something rather trivial, and as it turned out the item wasn't even fragile. Luo already had a bit of disdain for the way the man treated his crew, but now wasn't the time to say or do anything about it.
Closing his eyes, Luo sat silent meditating until someone spoke to him. He didn't necessarily know what to do with his time given the conditions outside, feeling a bit complacent due to the constraints that were placed on his choices of action by the desert itself. It was an oddity the desert, intense and unyielding during the day, and blisteringly cold at night. It was certainly something Luo thought about often. Chakra: 25/25 Stamina 23/25 Element: Suiton

Havik Tajutsu // Suna Sp. Jounin // Seven Tailed Host "Alright you son of a b***h thats enough!" Havik said loudly from another area of the stone house that was created. A thud, some scrambling, and then a lots of muffled yelling would be done before Havik yelled "Alright you three, come eat." When the three Genin ventured into the the dining room section of the home they would see a long table full of different sorts of food, chicken, beef, rice, and a little bit of veggie. There was even a small bit of food that seemed less rich than the others. Over all of the good food that Havik made sat the travel company who had already started eating some of there food, but the manager was missing. Suddenly there would be more mumbiling from the corner of the room, and then the Genin would see the loud, arrogant man tied up and gaged. When Havik say then notice the man he looked at them and said "What? The mission said to get them there safe... He is safe..." A awkward smile came over his face as he thought to himself "Probably not the best example..." Sitting down to eat as he thought he wait a few minutes then said "The house is secure, I set up several traps that will capture, or alert us of any bandit activity, so sleep easy we are safe. You three" Havik said pointing to his Genin" "Need to some up with a battle strategy amongst each other. Luo as the most mission experience, so he will be your leader, you all talk, he makes the final decision, and then he reports to me. This needs to be done by morning, so finish eating then get to work." With all that said Havik took his large mug full of milk and headed up stairs. He would keep going to the third floor and then make his way to the roof, once there he would sit cross legged and watch the sun set as he drank his cold, thick milk that had some of Misuki's medicine it it that helped ease the burning in his arm. "Respect my home and my comrades, or I will kill you."

Luo Ushio Sunagakure - Weapon Master - Genin - Ranmaru Eyes For thirty minutes, things seemed to go on the same. The manager could be heard throughout, and Luo sat quietly in an attempt to still his frustration with the man. However, Luo then heard the pitch of Havik's voice, and a rather distinct sentence. The muffling of voices then continued for a few minutes before Havik finally called for them to eat. To be honest, Luo didn't care to know what was happening. He figured as usual Havik's short fuse had run out, and unfortunately for the manager he was the cause of it all. However, Luo did not expect to see what he saw upon getting up to go eat.
The man was tied and gagged in the corner of the room with his men eating. Looking over at Luo with pleading eyes, the boy's lips remained lightly pursed. Taking a moment to adjust his goggles with his index finger, he turned his head away and walked over to the food. Sighing a bit to himself, he composed his plate of beef, rice, and steamed broccoli. Setting it down on the table, he made another plate with the same on it and turned walking over to the manager. He stared down at the man blankly, his goggles reflecting the man's face back to him. At last however, Luo's right hand reached up as he pulled the cloth used to gag him out of his mouth.
Placing the food on one of the rock protrusions next to the man Luo muttered, "You should try to be nicer to your co-workers. I'd untie you, but I'm afraid I haven't received the order to do so yet. So for now eat and reflect on your behavior." Turning and taking two steps towards his food, Luo stopped once more, his eyes darting to the side as if attempting to look at the man with his back turned. "I apologize for any inconvenience, however rest assured your merchandise will be safe." Walking forward once more, Luo sat and began eating, ignoring the poor excuse Havik gave for what he did.
As he ate, Luo listened to Havik speak and found himself a bit surprised when he was named team leader. It was in a way a big responsibility, as leading others usually was. He didn't let the decision go to his head, instead simply reflecting on how it made sense as far as experience was concerned, and feeling a slight sense of pressure from the decision. After eating a good portion of his meal, Luo propped his goggles on his head so he could truly look at everyone. It was a rare occurrence, but Luo always thought it rude to eat with them on. His brilliant navy blue eyes scanned the table as he muttered, "Well I suppose we should go ahead and do this now to save time and allow us to get a bit more rest. Any thoughts on strategy from you guys before I make any decisions?"

(pssst, Havik should teach Katsuro the Chakura no Kyōka style, I think that he would take to it pretty naturally given his bloodline mrgreen On a side note, if I don't post super regularly I apologize, Skyrim is just too freakin good!!!! rofl ) Katsuro Konaga
Weapon Master || Konaga || Genin || Sunagakure ||
Stamina: 59|| Pain Level: 0 || Status: Healthy || "You can always choose your own actions...Watching as Orion completed the obstacle course with relative ease, a small smile appeared on the Konaga's lips at how easily the other genin had completed it. I may not know much about their actual combat capabilities, but at least they both seem to be quick learners, he thought to himself as the final member of his team landed beside them. With Havik wandering off inside and Luo deciding to go off to the side to meditate, Katsuro decided it seemed like as good a time as any to get a look around the complex. Walking through the halls of the large structure, Katsuro could see that it was designed to be easily defended by a small group. With relatively short and narrow hallways, just wide enough for two men standing abreast, with plenty of corners and good lighting, three or four shinobi could easily defend it against a score of people if they were smart about how they moved.
As Havik's booming voice rang throughout the complex, Katsuro ended his tour of the building and began heading in the direction of the dining hall. He had passed the long room already, and though it was perhaps the most open space in the entire complex, he was sure that Havik could easily bar passage to the room on the off chance that they were attacked. As he turned the final corner leading to room, he spotted Luo already making his way inside and was sure Orion would be there in short time. Katsuro was glad to see the table was well stocked with all manner of food, though he didn't much care what he ate, he knew that he would need a lot. Grabbing a large bowl, one of the serving dishes that the caravan had already emptied, Katsuro began piling it high with food, some beef for protein, a variety of vegetables for his essential vitamins and minerals, and several helpings worth of rice and noodles for carbohydrates.
As he sat down to eat his meal, several of the members of the caravan staring wide-eyed at the monstrous amount of food he had taken, he noticed Luo getting up and walking to the corner of the room. Realizing for the first time that a man was tied up in the corner, Katsuro lifted an eyebrow as he turned his gaze on Havik as the man explained that they were technically not in breach of their contract. I suppose that if the village has already been paid there's not much the man can do. Still, it seems unwise to antagonize the people we're meant to protect, no matter how odious he is, the white-haired Konaga thought to himself as he turned his attention back to his food and continued shoveling it into his mouth. Finishing his meal before most of the other people in the room, despite how much he had gotten, Katsuro pushed his bowl aside as he listened to Havik explained his precautionary measures to protect the structure and then told them to come up with a combat strategy.
Turning his gaze on Luo as the boy began to speak, Katsuro then said, "I know that we discussed our basic combat abilities already, but unless I know more specifics it will be difficult to come up with any sound plan. You've already seen what I can do essentially, I haven't learned much beyond my family techniques, aside from that I can also augment my weapon attacks by channeling chakra into my blade."... but you rarely get to choose the consequences." (EDIT: oh wait, I don't think that I can learn that sad )

Luo Ushio Sunagakure - Weapon Master - Genin - Ranmaru Eyes Listening to Katsuro weigh in on the situation, Luo nodded in agreement. At this point, they really didn't have the luxury of simply keeping things quiet as far as their abilities went, and in order for them to work out as a squad, all information had to be known. "So you can mold chakra with your weapon huh? I can as well, so I gather you're training to become a weapon master. This of course would mean Orion is a ninjutsu specialist since I've already known that Havik is a taijutsu specialist. So, for some odd reason once again, Havik's most likely random selection of genin turned into a well rounded group." Luo joked of course and didn't really know how he made his decision, but based on the past Luo put his money on random selection.
"As for myself apart from some suiton and sword skill, I guess there's my bloodline. I come from a long line of users of the Ranmaru eye. I can track anything within 200m, sense life force, and cast illusions that can fool both the sharingan and byakugan. Just as well I can manifest chakra particles and track movement in a similar fashion to the sharingan." Sighing a bit, Luo took a few more bites of food and drank some of his tea to catch his breath before speaking once more. "So I guess one of the few plausible battle tactics for the current situation would be this: Have one doton user on each floor, Havik on the bottom floor. I and Orion will be upstairs, and Katsuro down here with Havik. If we get to rest in an hour, we'll have twelve hours until nine a.m. Meaning, if we each took a shift keeping guard on each floor, we could get six hours of sleep each. Not the most, but certainly enough. I guess just choose who gets which shift I suppose. If during my shift I sense anyone in the area, I should have just enough time to signal you guys downstairs. At that point Havik, I'd ask that you put up a wall between the crew and the cargo, and where people will be fighting."
Pausing for a minute, Luo then muttered, "Unless anyone has any objections or input." Luo was certainly open to any suggestions or questions that may come about. Who knew if he was missing something important? Chakra: 25/25 Stamina 23/25 Element: Suiton

Orion Ekisho Sunagakure/Ninjutsu/Genin/Crystal Release As Orion and the others walked into the building that Havik made, they each went their seperate ways and looked around. Orion made sure to note the size of corridors and intersections for later, in the event that they had to defend it from attackers. After a short time there was some commotion before Havik told them to come and eat. Once Orion arived he saw the man tied up and gagged on the floor. He just raised his eyebrow at Havik's reasoning before sitting down with the other genin and eating. Orion heaped a decent amount of broccoli, chicken, beef, and rice onto his plate and dug in. True, it was dwarfed by Katsuro's pile of food, but it was still a decent meal. As he finished the meal, Havik got up and told them that Luo was in charge and that they should talk strategy, before heading upstairs. Orion listened to Luo and Katsuro talk a little about their skills and possible ways to use them before speaking up himself. "Well as Havik pointed out the other day at the training grounds, most of my current skills are relegated to defense. Though with some improvisation, they could be just as useful for offense as well. Besides my doton I also have a few of my bloodline's abilities, though none of the long range ones yet sadly. I can make a practically invisible armor around myself with it, as well as making clones that can fool a sharingan or byakugan, though I don't know about if they can fool your eyes since the scroll said nothing about the Ranmaru bloodline. Beyond that, if we're talking strategy I like the idea of having a doton user on each floor. We can seal off passages to slow down or trap anyone if they get inside. I also have a jutsu that would let me swim through the ground and stone, so I would be able to get around behind anyone who came in and could relay info to the group on the other floor as well." Taking a moment to think he said "The only obvious problems I see are if someone attacks us with a large enough group to attack both floors at once. The main objective is protecting the caravan and its cargo, which would be more difficult with just two shinobi per floor. That being said, having Havik on the bottom floor eleviates that worry somewhat since he knows the complete layout. Besides that, the only possible problems they could exploit, that I can see right now at any rate, would be if they have doton users themselves or attacks that would take up the entire hallway. The smaller space gives us the advantage number wise since they wouldn't be able to swamp us as effectively, but if they have a high level fire or water user then it could create some problems too. But, you can never have a perfect plan, and the mark of a truely skilled group is adapting when unforeseen things happen. So all in all, its a good plan. I can take the first watch if you like."Chakra: 35/35 Stamina 25/25 Element: Doton Attributes: Primary: Great Chakra Reserves/Secondary: Intelligence/Tertiary: Cunning Specialty: Summoner/Chakra Control "Strength isn't everything." Luo Ushio Sunagakure - Weapon Master - Genin - Ranmaru Eyes Taking in Orion's suggestions as he finished his meal, Luo took a sip of tea and then downed a bottle of water rather quickly. Wiping a small drop from his mouth, he began to speak as Orion finished. "Since I can detect life force, it would mean that unless your clone was capable of giving off a life force I could discern it from you. But the earth military movement technique could prove a lot more useful than any methods of relaying information I would've had. As for the first issue, we should all know the layout of this place by the time we go to sleep so that we all have that same advantage. As for large attacks that span hallways, for you and Havik the same jutsu aforementioned could and probably should be used so that at least you and Havik still have a chance to protect the caravan. As for myself and Katsuro, I'm sure we'll both be able to figure out a plan for ourselves. Besides, as you said before there's a defensive reason having a doton user on both floors helps. If you can seal off hallways and such, then most low to mid-level katon shouldn't be a problem suiton users as well as other doton users would most likely be the only clear cut threat. In which case as you said, we'll just have to adapt." Getting up and standing, Luo nodded towards Katsuro and then to Orion as he muttered, "Oh, and I'm perfectly fine with you taking first shift. And let me say to both of you that I'm happy to work with you guys. Let's just hope we get to where we're going without a hitch."
Taking his leave, Luo walked up the stairs and took a moment to familiarize himself with the area before realizing Havik wasn't anywhere on the second floor. "The roof," he muttered to himself. Placing his goggles back on, Luo rushed towards run of the tarped windows. Grabbing the top, he flipped out and over onto the roof and straightened himself before bowing quickly. "Well sir, we have a strategy."

Havik Tajutsu // Suna Sp. Jounin // Seven Tailed Host Taking a deep breath Havik caught the scent of men, and not only one. Smirking he said "I hope it is a good one. Tell me." his voice almost laughing as he sipped from his large, earth mug. His heightened sense of smell let him know there were several men on there way here, and on animals, they were unkept, and smelly but the winds made it hard to pinpoint there location. But as Havik listened to Luo's plain he watched his face and waited to see when his bloodline would pick up the mass of bandits heading there way. Once he caught on to the approaching force Havik smiled and said "How many do you count?" Once Luo counted and answered with what ever it might be he continued to say "Looks like it is time to fight, I will be by the caravan." Gulping the last of his milk he made a hand sign melted into the building, moved through his building and reappeared by the caravan, crossed legged, and leaning against the goods as Luo made his way to warn his team of the impending assault. "Respect my home and my comrades, or I will kill you." Jutsu used:Earth Military Movement.

Luo Ushio Sunagakure - Weapon Master - Genin - Ranmaru Eyes Well sir, we decided to have one Doton user on each floor. You and Katsuro on the bottom, and me and Orion at the top. I suggest personally that both doton users keep watch on different shifts so that at least one of you is awake at all times. In the even of attack, your top priority would be to seal off the room with the caravan and the cargo. With twelve hours roughly remaining we'll each take six hour shifts. That's of course if we are attacked." As Luo finished, Havik asked him an odd question not pertaining at all to the plan. "Sir I don't understand, what do you m--." Luo's sentence was cut short however. There was something in the way Havik was staring at him, as if waiting for him to catch onto something. The last time Luo heard him say that was....
Quickly, Luo's eyes flashed red under his goggles before returning to their original color. It was then that it was clear to him. He could visibly see faint chakra signatures approaching on animals, most likely camels. It was too soon. The plan was for inside, however it seemed they would have to take them on outside, which ruined the plan a bit, but did keep them at bay from the caravan. His eyes then widened and his voice rose to what most would consider a normal speaking level as he said, "T-Twenty six!?" With that, Havik melted through the ground and Luo flipped back into the building. Rushing down the stairs, jumping the last set, he slid into the dining room. His face was serious and he muttered, "Seems our current plan has become secondary. There are Twenty-six men within 200 meters of our area. They must have been following us all day. They don't know we know they're here so let's make the best of a surprise assault. We will all scout out ahead and flank from both sides, meeting in the rear. We are severely outnumbered, and Havik's main priority right now is the caravan, which leaves the majority of this if not all of it to us." Luo knew this news would come as beyond a shock, but they didn't have time to waist.
"Two-hundred meters is nine meters just below a quarter of a mile. On average, a mile can be ran in ten minutes, however they are also on animals. Taking this into consideration as well as the weather, we have roughly one minute and thirty seconds until they are here after I finish speaking, so we need to leave immediately! I want nothing but projectiles thrown to weed out the group from behind once we flank them. The wind should hide noise and most likely the sight of them, as well as the night sky. Until we are found out, keep an eight foot distance at all times. I know it's not much, but with all the wind and sand, that's the only way projectiles will work; it'll be odd if one of them actually notices us early on. Orion, seal the front door with rock and we'll exit through the second floor. Use only top floor windows to get back here once we do. Make sure the sealed door looks almost obviously sealed, rather shoddily. If sight becomes an issue at any time, I'll help when needed. Make special note of the obstacle course before the door and use it to your advantage once we make it back here with the rest of the bandits. When we do, stick to the original plan. Let's go!"
Luo turned and ran out of the room and then stopped and looked over in the corner. "The Desert Hag's bag. I forgot about it." Luo said to himself. The good thing was, he knew its weight and how to handle it, however it didn't stop it from being a hindrance. Slinging it over his shoulder, Luo rushed towards the front door. Pulling all his kunai out, he strung them with the wire, using the last two on each end to lightly dig into the walls of the facility. Tracking the wire to the bottom of the inside of the front door, he placed the other kunai lightly in a crack in the wall, setting a trip wire trap for whoever was unfortunate enough to think that the front door was a great idea. Turning back around, he ran around the corner and up the stairs to meet the other two who were probably just about to head out of two of the three windows. Luo continued running and jumped head first out of the window, tucking and rolling in the air before landing next to them. With animals, it would be easier to hear them. Luo held up his index and middle finger together and quickly signaled that Orion and Katsuro flank to the right and he to the left. They'd more than likely meet towards the back, and Luo figured with his sight he had a bit more of an advantage as far as being attacked was concerned.
Luo expected on some low degree that they would be attacked for the goods, but never this many people. It made him wonder just what the manager was hiding in that cargo that was so important. Chakra: 25/25 Stamina 23/25 Element: Suiton

Orion Ekisho Sunagakure/Ninjutsu/Genin/Crystal Release Orion nodded at Luo's final comments as he left to talk to Havik. There wasn't much to do while he did so, besides go over everything one more time in his head. Then Luo ran back in and told them that there was a large group of bandits outside heading straight for them. "Already!?" he thought to himself as Luo ran through a quick plan. He had no objections to it in truth, aside from using the projectiles to attack the bandits. If he used Stone Spear while they were in a group he could get several of them at once, but before he could voice his oppinion, Luo was off running. "Damn it! If I do it now I might end up blocking the projectiles of the others." Shaking his head, Orion ran down the halls back to the front door of the building, arriving in time to see Luo set his trip wire and run up the stairs. Orion sent his hands through several signs before slamming them on the floor and saying "Doroku Gaeshi." The stone wall that was created completely blocked off the hallway, but left the kunai trap Luo said set untouched and in between it and the actual doors. Once the wall was in place, Orion ran up the stairs to meet up with Luo and Katsuro at the windows. Orion jumped out of the one in front of him, rolling with the impact of the landing. As he got up he nodded to Luo's directions and, after pulling four shuriken out of the pouch on his leg, began to run around the bandits from the right alongside Katsuro.
