New found Island of the New Pirate Era
Orlantayga, a definition of 'rebirth' in the new pirate era. This populated island is a rather unknown destination where marines struggle to control its vast income of pirates who travel to stock up before heading to the grand line. A favor-some spot for supplies. The marines of west Blue now try to keep a close eye on what comes in and what comes out of the island, any sign of a pirate making business? be sure to think those marines will be closely following. The island is full of numerous goods very much like places such as logue town etc. Not many step foot on this island, because not many people can find it or even know about it.
Supplies that you can purchase and places you can go too include:
Weapons
Clothing, general attire
Souvenirs
Blacksmith
General food supplies
Restaurants (particularly): Ye ole Seagull Lounge.
Bars (such as): Fortuna seafront
Market place (made for pirates due to its popularity and closeness to the grand line)
Marine scouting post headquarters
Engineer (ship use)
Carpenter (ship use)
Navigator supplies (maps, compass, on rare occasion: Log pose)
Jewelers
Junk shop anything from anywhere, here.
Le Grandios Festival (celebration of grand line ventures): happens once every year.

Scarlett casually walked down the isle of shops. There wasnt much too look at at first but she loved to browse and this seemed the spot for almost anything, it certainly rivaled the famous logue town of east blue. She passed a weaponry shop and stop dead in her tracks, peering through the window to see an array of beautifully manufactured weapons. As she walked in the bell rang. The shop keeper gazed at her as Scarlett wandered around the showcases.
"I've never seen such brilliant craftsmanship in my life" she announced catching the eye of the shop keeper. The shop keeper seemed rather fascinated at her interest not even the slightest bit worried that she was a pirate; but pirates meant business.
Outside people were murmuring about the sighting of a dragon that had appeared over the island early that morning; whispers had carried to the marine headquarters and they were on high alert for something they seemed hardly prepared for.

Deon didn't waste anytime getting to this island. He was in search of the rumored dragon. He strapped his boat to the pier and began walking through the town. He stopped and asked random people about the rumor, he had heard concerning a dragon. Oh the rumors he heard, each one more different than the last but they had one thing in common, the dragon. He decided as long as he was hear, he might as well get some materials. He needed to create different bullets for his guns.

Scarlett wasn't keen on the approach to "carrying as much as possible" but it was a good job she always brought a satchel just for emergencies. Most of her stuff was hidden where her dog Haku was awaiting her return as he looked after their belongings, it was a well deserved nap, the flight over to this island that morning was rather stressful on her form. She was analyzing a set of shuriken; there was many varieties but she often preffered the normal bog standard 4 point.
As she got to the counter with her request the shop keeper asked " Is there anything else you'd like? You might need to stock up, heard theres been a siting of some dragon that flew over here this morning, pretty big thing! people have been spreading the rumours fast!". Scarlett flinched for a second and looked up at the shop keeper handing in her money for a set of 4 point shuriken blades. "A dragon...huh...." She murmured, wow...didn't realise they'd catch on..next time i'll have to make my arrivals more private. She thought to herself. "Something wrong?" the shop keeper asked with a quizzical brow. "No no..I'll keep my eyes peeled!" Scarlett answered exiting the shop and slipping the set into her bag.
"That was awkward.." she said to herself, making sure her shuriken were tucked away safely. She didn't carry many weapons, wasn't much need too since her Katana was her main weapon of choice. She continued to walk down the array of shops and kept to herself, adjusting her pirate hat above her head scarf. She headed to the direction of the ye ole seagull lounge.

He continued to roam through the town, but he stopped asking question after the last 'update' on the rumor. The girl he spoke to believed it to be a devil fruit user and none of the others even considered that. If it's a devil fruit user the chances of me running into it are slim to none. He decided to grab something to eat. He could see off in the distance a lounge; the ye ole seagull lounge. He also noticed a young lady with a sword on her back headed in the same direction. He decided she would be the last person in this town he asks about the dragon.

Business seemed booming in this lounge she entered; she took a menu as she walked in and found a nestled corner with a round sofa. She sat down quietly and scanned around. There were many hidden pirates to be seen and it wasn't hard to notice, but of course since the place was full of marines. Many of the guests were locals and they all seemed to be talking about the dragon rumour. This isn't so good, but I suppose it brightens their day if its something new to them
She ordered a 'seagull spritzer' and pulled out a journal full of notes, pictures, navigation codes and map drawings. Scarlett kept many important things with her such as her journal; she wasn't just a swordswomen, she was a travelling navigator, an explorer of the world and everything was note down. She told herself one day she would venture to the grand line properly and seek its wonders.
she started to write notes.

He followed Scarlett into the lounge. There were people everywhere, yet he didn't see the girl. He walked around easily, since he didn't have a bounty he wasn't worried about the marines at all but then again he could take them. He finally noticed the girl sitting on a sofa, but before heading her way he grabbed a menu. Regardless of what he wanted to ask her he was still hungry. He sat down on the same sofa she was on but not too close to her. He didn't want her thinking he was trying to come on to her or something worse. He ordered his meal. While he waited for it to arrive he he spoke loud enough for her to hear but not the entire bar. "Hey I'm Deon K. Zaraki, can I ask you something, as well as your name?"

Scarlett sensed the mans presence but continued to write her notes, folding one leg over the other as she sat still. She looked over for a moment and felt a little uncomfortable at first. She answered the man politely "Scarlett C. Shawshack, you have a question?" Dam..maybe hes going to ask me too she thought to herself. She folded the corner of the page and closed her journal placing her quil on the table as she reached for her drink, she wasn't so hungry yet but she didn't want to stay around so long to catch the attention. She looked to the man and scanned his appearance. Scarlett wasn't afraid in the slightest of other pirates, she believed most were arrogant and thoughtless beings and didn't have much respect for them. It would take a lot to scare her.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Meanwhile back with her stuff, was Haku who had been napping for several minutes. He got up and sensed his owner from afar, his sense of smell was superb. The Wolf like dog picked up their belongings onto his back; he was quite capable of holding heavy equipment. He started to walk through the town trying not to be noticed so much amongst the crowd. Haku was petted by small children before coming up to the ye ole seagull lounge.

Now that he finally had a good look at her, he could tell Scarlett was a pirate. "Nice to meet you Scarlett." He never tries to give off the evil guy vibe but with his appearance, it was easily assumed that way by others. Regardless Deon didn't hesitate to ask her his question. "Where is your pirate crew?" Deon's meal had arrived. He smiled wide at the delicious looking food place before him. As he was leaning into his food one of his guns slightly showed itself from under his cloak. He paid no attention to that as he began eating.

Scarlett glimpsed at his gun but casually ignored it, she was a women who carried weapons so this felt like nothing new. She answered Deon's question politely after a slight pause "I don't have one, and i wouldnt consider myself a captain, I have no interest in becoming a pirate King...I wish to explore, if one piece is a wealth prize then I would kindly give it a miss".
She was rather stubborn towards the matter suddenly, but kept her cool. The tension from the rumors must have made her a little uncomfortable. She sat and watched him eat, she seemed a little calmer as she did so and breathed a sigh of relaxation, and again reaching for her almost-finished glass of spritzer. This Deon fellow looked rather menacing but Scarlett was well aware most pirates were these days and just as worse as they were back in those days of when gold D roger sailed the seas and to then be the young boy Luffy that had his claim to the One Piece during that time.
Scarlett finished her drink and softly said " I travel alone....."

Deon grabbed a napkin and wiped his face before he spoke. He felt her tension wither away once she sighed so he felt a little better asking her some more things. "I'm glad to see that you are starting to feel a little more comfortable talking to me." He sat looked towards her and continued, "I have another question though. Will you be willing to answer it?" Deon was getting excited, he was considering starting off with a navigator would make things easier. His excitement didn't show in his face though.

Scarlett nodded gracefully and told the man that he could " Sure, go ahead". As she spoke Her wolf like dog who wore a striking eye-patch wandered into the pub with his pipe along with the collection of his and his master's belongings. He spotted his owner and grunted, calmly walking over and shuffling the stuff onto the sofa where they sat. Scarlett noticed his grunt for a greeting and petting his head. " Decided to get up then?" she asked the dog in a patronizing way. The Dog nodded and started to pant a little, smoke rising from his mouth as he did so.
She was at least happy that he was ok and had cleverly managed to carry the stuff all by himself. It was hard work travelling alone but they didn't really need a boat.
She awaited his question.

He smiled at her pet who seemed very unique, especially since it was smoking a pipe. Deon turned to her and said, " The Grand Line will be starting up soon. I don't officially have a crew, or a boat but I would like to have someone with your navigational skills to work with me. Your friend here could come as well." He noticed even though he said all of that he still didn't ask her the question. "Basically what I'm trying to say is, will you work with me?"

"This would be Haku, he's my partner on my travels, I've had him ever since he was a small pup, he was a present from my Father before he went out to sea with his fellow pirates"
The conversation turned to what Deon had said and she was slightly bewildered in thought from what he had said about the possibility of becoming a part of a crew. The thought was intriguing, but she wasn't swayed so easy. "Perhaps, but where would we find a ship, we sure can't steal one and we'd need somewhat of a big ship..." she paused "..I have a lot of BIG things that need to fit on the ship if I were to sail with you and fellow crew members" the sentence said itself, she was a dragon after all, if she got stuck in her dragon form, they may need to make room. She kept this quiet for now. Her fruit was only used in emergencies or travel, she kept a low profile - but it certainly didn't seem this way on this island.
"I'll think about it..." she finished uncrossing her legs and standing up, placing her drink on the table. " Fresh air would be good right now" Scarlett stretched and the dog happily barked at her.
This wasn't a time for sitting down, and she had got up for a reason. Marines were gathering in the restaurant and all around the premises; this wasn't good....what if they had found out a rumor that had led them straight to the prize...She had to hurry. " You can join me or stay here but I have to make a move...I have er..some er....stuff to buy from the general store"((sorry to go occ but i was wondering what would you want to call the crew?..and I could do a scene with you about getting a ship, got some suggestions if you haven't already))

He noticed as the more marines that appeared the more she stumbled on her words. The increasing number of marines seems to mess with her. Then again should could have a bounty. You never know these days. "But as far as a ship goes, I could make one big enough with the right material." He stood up casually and continued, "Even though the ship wouldn't even come close to the work of a shipwright."
(OOC: I don't really have an idea for a crew name but I could make something up real quick, unless you have an idea for one. And yeah I would like to hear any suggestions you have. I also wouldn't mind doing the ship scene.)
