This is really cool. It's a Pokedex you can get on the eShop of the 3DS, for no charge, that lets you view the new Black and White Pokemon in full 3D. You start off with 16 Pokemon, and get a random three each day from Spotpass, and you'll be able to trade with other people you meet as well as use QR codes. You can view the Pokemon using AR, and of course, you can use the full Pokedex functionality. Pretty neat for anyone that's been on the fence about getting Black or White (me), and for anyone that just has a 3DS. We're also getting a free version of NES Excitebike with added 3D functionality. POW have some screenshots. Man, the 3D models look great.

Seriously, it's so smooth. Mmm, mm. If not a 3DS game, then give us a console Pokemon where they look that smooth, and are animated just as well.

Waynebrizzle Can we all agree that there's no excuse for sprites in the next Pokemon on 3DS? At first I didn't know if they would really be able to, since they'll surely add even more Pokemon and the games are getting more expansive and whatnot, but if they can have 150 3D models in a free downloadable app, then there's really no excuse.

POW more screenshots. I would love to find a QR Code and scan it, somewhere, to get a Pokemon. I eat s**t like that up.

Hey, so when will the system update to allow 3DS users to use the eShop?
Every time i click on stuff like internet browser it wants a system updat so when I update it it says that the newest stuff has already been installed...

I'm quite surprised that we're seeing 3D models of the Gen V Mons so soon. You'd think they'd be seen in another Stadium-/Colosseum-esque game or something. This is good stuff, yeah?

Wow, incredible! This makes me want to actually play Pokemon Black now. I hope we'll eventually get to see Pokemon from every gen on that thing, too.
Excitebike sorta gets boring to me after ten minutes, but it's gonna be free? Gimme!
We don't need another Stadium/Colosseum because the next Pokemon game WILL be in 3D 3D.
