So I picked up a copy of Philadelphia daily news today and the Cover page read that the according to this guy named Harold Camping the worlds ending Saturday May 21th around 6. confused Full article coverage found here: http://www.philly.com/philly/news/pennsylvania/121973179.htmlSo tell me Mafia... What would you do if the world was really going to end this weekend?I relaize this may bring up discussion on religious differences and How Religious Zealots like to control the masses, but I love hearing opinions on that stuff too. xd Oh and as an aside, an Athiest group taking full advantage of the histeria says they'll watch your pets for ya if you get Raptured... for $135. rofl

hmm....I'll have to make sure I end up getting laid at least one more time before saturday.
Ooh, or ON saturday!!
No wait, I work at 5.30 saturda night...I guess I'll be seating people, or cleaning the bathroom or something.
Should be fun.
I wish I had better pants to get raptured in though. I really don't wanna be wearing too-short pants when the world ends.
Maybe I should go shopping this week....

I would spend the last 96 hours of my life risking it. Hey, you're gonna die either way, right? Scuba diving, skydiving, riding a bear, rock climbing alone, telling a Hell's Angel that leather makes him look gay, wrestling alligators, walking alone at 3 AM, heckling Dave Chappelle, namedropping the Illuminati, trying out the sex trade, scalping Marilyn Manson tickets, commandeering a ship and becoming a pirate, trying every drug under the sun, marrying a Hypello...
But this whole divine retribution thing is silly anyway. Why do so many Christians seem to believe that an all-loving and all-powerful God would be insulted enough by nonbelievers to want to punish them? Wouldn't he be more insulted by people who repented solely out of fear of punishment? I mean, if people were only nice to me because they were scared of me, I'd actually be more hurt than if they were dicks to me because they weren't.

If the world were suddenly going to end, I think I'd want to spend it in the company of people I know and love, having a good time. I've always wanted to go out laughing. biggrin
Also, if The Rapture were to happen, wouldn't that convince everyone that God is real? And isn't God benevolent? Somehow I have my doubts that He'd pull an "I told you so, now ******** off." xd
