"Are you sure you're up to this?" Incultyr asked the Jolteon who had only recently be invited into the team. Veritas nodded.

"Yes, I'll be fine." Veritas assured them. Morana and Incultyr didn't press- though they had never seen her in action, Veritas was obvious an experienced fighter. So together the three fighters of Team Polaris, stopped to listen what was going on, and then left~



Zero and Zosee left baby Hope in the team room for Zora to look after (It...should be fine) and answered the alarm.



Once I have time I'll explain all the events leading up to Atra rejoining the team he had made. But for now, all we need to know is that's back, Mel allowed him to take back his leadership role, and the three of them are off to kick some toxicroak butt!



Team Trinity is also ready to go murder things.

As the thirty minute time period drew to a close, three members of the Team stood in the Main Hall to await instruction. Era looked about curiously, more calm and collected than she'd been in a while; a few days of rest had done the Pikachu some good. Beside her, as usual, was her co-captain who was patiently looking through the bag, if only for the purpose of killing a few of the remaining minutes. He was also less discomfited than he had been the past week, pleased that Era was finally seeming to come around to her normal self again. Lastly, Riley stood to Era's other side, eyes shining brightly and tail whipping back and forth. He'd heard about what had been happening lately and had been craving the opportunity to help out against some of these terrible creatures the Guilds were up against, now he finally had his chance.

At Solaris' explanation Era's eyes hardened; it was one of them then. There weren't many things that the Pikachu would hate, let alone hold a grudge against, but this was certainly one of them. "We have to avenge Pluto in this fight," she muttered, And Darius...

Ethfael inclined his head in agreement, "We'll do our best," he said, "Alongside everyone else here." He wasn't particularly worried, getting to the point where nothing really phased him anymore. That was what happened after battles such as the one when the Fire Types stormed the Guild, you just weren't bothered by a single powerful opponent anymore, having dealt with far worse.

Riley smiled, "Cheer up Era, we'll make it through this, I'm sure of it." He gave her slight peck on the cheek, causing the Pikachu to blush and Ethfael to glare at him, "We'll be able to handle it, okay?" he said, not paying attention to the ominous reaction from his Dragonair Co-Leader. She smiled a bit and Riley grinned, pleased that he'd been able to brighten her up a bit. As Solaris led the way out, the trio followed, and a tangible anger seemed to radiate from Ethfael as Era and Riley began to converse lightly as they walked.



"I refuse to go on this mission if you say anything to me about strength or weakness, got it?" Tris said after Solaris finished explaining things. They were both already in the Main Hall, but Maestro had the look on his face as though he was about to mock someone or something for being weak. Essentially, the Ditto was sick and tired of Maestro going on about things during battles, it sickened him and he saw no other option to get rid of it than to force him to stay silent about the thoughts.

Maestro looked at Tris with mild surprise and smiled slightly, "Very well," he said with a mocking bow to his partner, "My lips are mum." He honestly thought that if the village must be pretty pathetic to need the Guild's help, but if Tris didn't want him to mention it he wouldn't.

Tris bounced up and down on his spring, a more contented expression on his face, "Right then, let's go!" And the Ditto bounced after the group, hurrying to get closer to the front. Maestro walked after him, still humoring Tris more than anything as he kept his thoughts to himself and followed along with the group toward their destination.

Needless to say, Team MistMelody were extremely deflated by the news that they'd come all this way for absolutely nothing. Era shook her head in disbelief, looking at Solaris in total amazement a his blunder. Ethfael closed his eyes and pressed the tip of his tail to his forehead, as though he had a headache, feeling what little respect he had regained for Solaris fall a little. Riley on the other hand was simply baffled, how such a mistake could have been made was beyond him; and while he had nothing against a good carnival, this was a bit too strange for him. As they stood there dumbfounded, Riley finally broke their silence, "So...What do we do now?"

Era sighed, "I guess...We're going to the carnival," she said, in a rather disgruntled tone. It was clear that it wasn't really what she felt like doing right now, but they were kind of stuck here. "Do you think we should get any of the others?" she asked.

Ethfael sighed, rolling his eyes, "Faran and Phione would probably enjoy a carnival," the Dragonair said with annoyance, "I suppose we should make the most of it."

"I'll go ask about getting them," Riley said, not as disheartened as the other two, but still relatively perturbed by the whole thing. The Eevee went to go speak to someone about getting a Teleport, and would eventually return with the two children in tow.



"A carnival," Maestro said flatly, clearly rather displeased, "We came all this way for a carnival." The Zorua was very angry to put things lightly, he'd expected a battle, not fun and games. He angrily cut into the ground with his Skarmory talons, turning away.

"We don't have to fight, what could be better than that?" Tris replied cheerily, "Come on, let's go have some fun!" The Ditto bounced over to participate in the festivities, dragging and unwilling Maestro with him.

"The hell?" Incultyr immediately turned round. "I'm going back. Anyone you want me to send?"

"Aw, come on, stay a bit. It might be fun." Veritas told the Larvitar, a slight twinkle in her eyes. No doubt she was imagining the gruff ground type on a carousel ride or the like.

"No. This is stupid. Cress is on Hospital duty, but I'll see if the rest of the team wants to come." And with that he stomped off to the nearest teleportation services. The Jolteon turned to the Houndour, who opened her mouth, then shut it, and looked rather confused and embarrassed.

"What is it Morana?"

"I- um...what's a carnival?"



"Huh what the he-"

"This'll be fun."

"I guess it's better than a fight."

"Come on, let's go get Hope. She'll love all the people here."

"Hey Atra."

"Hmm?"

"Mind looking over Hope for us a minute? We're going to take a try at the race."

"Oh, uh, sure."

"Meet us back here in an hour?"

"Sure."

"This is great." Melissa said cheerfully as they set off. She was rather happy about the fact what might have been another violent fight had been replaced by a day of relaxing and having fun. God knows the guild needed a breather.

Katara followed along behind them looking rather confused, as Hope happily floated from side to side above them.

"Anyone we'd want to bring here?" Melissa asked, at which Atra only just shrugged. Seeing as how he wasn't exploding in anger, she'd say that his mood had increased dramatically after his encounter with the Jirachi. Thing still weren't...ok...but they were better for the Flareon.

"I guess not. Lilium would be busy, and Randel left to visit his parents back at the Five Islands- oh! A Carousel, let's go Atra!" Her enthusiasm was more for Atra's benefit than anything else.



"Well this is stupid."

"How did that-"

"Friends, let's not question our blessings. Avoiding another battle is a good thing. Come, let us see what we can do around here." The Arcade had caught his eye and he looked over to Beka with a mischievous grin.

"Oh no, if you think you can get me onto a dance pad again-"
