4laugh So I'm just now after five years coming out to people and telling them my sexuality( which I'm Bisexual by the way)... But I have a problem..(I think????).... My mom is totally cool with me and my preferences in fact she is rather happy that I'm truly happy this way... But I feel like I'm confused as in what I REALLY like... I mean I do like boys but not enough to make me straight but not really enough to be bi either.. In all honesty I prefer girls better... they are much more understanding and better at a whole lot of things than boys can in my opinion because they know what I like and how I like it... So is it that I'm holding on to feeling for the past that keeps me liking boys or is that a natural instinct... Please HELP!!!!! crying

It may just be that you have an emotional connection with girls that you haven't found with a guy yet; it's not necessarily that you're not a bisexual. That's not to say it's impossible that you're not a bisexual, but keep an open mind. The question really is, are you physically, sexually attracted to both men and women (if, for example, you found a hot guy who is understanding and "knows how you like it")? Another possibility is that you're bisexual, but can't make a real connection with guys, so that you'll end up with a girl no matter what.
However you feel, don't try too hard to label yourself, especially if you haven't had time to explore your sexuality thoroughly.
(Congratz btw on coming out!)

I believe they call that being "homoflexible"

sweatdrop Okay thanks... I am sexually attracted to females... And with males I think it's just not the same.. I mena it's no connection the feeling is just a feeling and nothing more... But I think I do need more time to explore myself and see who I really am before the labeling begins

Aw I'm sorry sad I think being bi is so much more confusing than gay since you have to figure out if you like both sad

Dont worry, you're not alone there. sweatdrop
But don't worry about it. Like whoever you like and just be who you are. You'll figure it out in time. (That's what I'm doing, at least).

Remember, sexuality is about sex, not romance. It is my hopes that you shall experience no small amount of both in your life, but the latter only muddies the water on what seems to be a complex issue. Don't let gender stereotyping get in the way even further. There are very few purely masculine of feminine traits that hold true across the board. There are even fewer in the LBGT community. What you site against males seemed to be based on gender stereotypes, be they societal or your own invention. You'll never know for sure as long as those continue to guide you.
