All set. Everything was in motion. Trainee Nakura had just finished pressing the 'send' button and had sat back to admire his work. The e-mail suggested a party at an upscale karaoke bar to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Team Rocket's boss finally revealing himself. The trainee himself wouldn't have known of it, having only joined a few months prior, but Faleen had mentioned it to him once in their e-mail exchanges. It was something worth throwing a party for, Izaya decided. Not that he expected the big man to show up himself, but he hoped a good number of Rockets would appear regardless. Instructions were to wear relatively nice clothes and to bring money for a few drinks, if so desired. The invitation had been sent to everyone he had managed to find e-mails for, which he hoped was most of the Rocket members. All except for one, whom he had intentionally left out.

Now...if he could only manage to convince his 'Guardian Agent' to go with him to Camphoreon. He couldn't tell her outright it was for a party; he didn't think she'd buy it. He was supposed to be training, after all, but having finished all the books she had assigned him and practiced a bit with Celty, he thought they deserved some time off. Besides, what better place to discuss his progress than at a bar where they could sit back, relax, and enjoy life?

Closing his windows and shutting off the computer, Orihara made every effort to erase the evidence of his presence in the computer lab before exiting. Time to find Aila. Retrieving his Rocket 'Dex from his coat pocket, he switched it on, sighing at the condition of his coat. He missed the hoodie Seth had torn off. After a few minutes of experimenting with the applications on the 'dex, Izaya discovered how to call the agent and waited with the device in hand. That didn't stop him from continuing to travel, however; his legs were already taking him down to the first level of the base where he hoped to leave soon enough.

Aila had the evening off. Completely, thoroughly, and totally off. No training, no exercise, no reports, no studying. As she had no duties, she similarly had no plans - though she was in the process of changing that. She would select a movie or a book, prepare a cup of tea, and spend the remainder of her waking hours in the blissful comfort of her room.

This was the plan as she foresaw it, until the light buzz of her pokedex alerted her to an incoming message. She glanced at the screen, recognizing the number that identified the caller. With a sigh and a silent prayer (please don't be in trouble again), she hit the button to accept the call and raised the device to her ear.

"Something you need?"

You've got fire!

Sorano twitched a brow into a curved slope come the little ping! and ever joyous and familiar tone from his sibling's computer. A twist of the newspaper within his hand let it fall to the tabletop as he turned squinted eyes to his lounging sissy reading something on something.

"D'ya computer jus' say, "You've got fire?"" he implored.
"Why are you still here?" she objected after a small silence.
"Don' answer me question with a question, man."

Lennyka pushed herself to a sitting stance and rolled her shoulders, obliging her white Mewtwo with a small nod as she took the cup o' java her held and sipped it gingerly. She returned the half full item to him and as he swiveled away with a teleport, she stood full and made her way to her desktop.

"You said you would leave an hour ago." she said, pushing her glasses more up upon the bridge of her nose and clacking her gloved members over the keyboard. "And apparently, you lied."
"Oh shush." Sorano retorted weakly. "What is it? Document from tha offices?"
"No-" Her words were cut off as her fallow gaze danced across the pixel pigments. A short clicks and a dash to her closet caused Sorano's eyebrow to hill again.
"What's goin' on?" he said more firmly now.
"We've been invited out to drink, Sorano." A dainty smile creased her lips followed by a content sigh. "Now you can finally leave me alone . . . "
"Wha'-?"
"Alabaster, would you please escort our guest out?"
"Happily, Madam."
"Wha'-?"

In no time, the older Dinkley sibling was thrust out of his sister's quarters with a good toss from the larger felineesque Pokemon. After screeching to a halt on his face, he smugly sighed and headed to his room. Yea, a drink or did sound good right now. Maybe'll help with his angst over his girlfriend's sudden withdrawal . . .

"Alabaster, could you do me a favor?" kindly turned the Agent to the Mewtwo. "I want to bring a guest along but she been hibernating in her little lofty warehouse in the dark. She won't speak to anyone . . . apparently." Len paused to swish around in a twirl upon picking out a simple day dress. "Could you retrieve her please?"
"Certainly, Madam." he answered and teleported away. His Madam was so lovely . . .

"Aila-chan! How are you?" came the perky voice on the opposite end of the line. "I'm just fantastic. Thanks for asking. Listen, may I request a favor? As I understand it, I am not allowed to leave this base unless I am in the company of a superior, correct?" His smile was audible through the mic. "Well you see, no one else I know seems to be available tonight and I was wondering if you would be my escort. If you aren't busy of course."

While inspecting his nails on one hand, he cradled the 'dex between his shoulder and head, using his other hand to take off his ruined coat. "I'm afraid I had scheduled something of a meeting with an old client of mine. Nothing too classified, of course; just some business to finish that I had begun prior to joining the Rockets. Oh - it's at something of a high-end bar, too, so if you be so kind as to dress the part, perhaps we can play the roles of a couple once again? Just this evening, I assure you."

With his old coat on one arm, he hastily moved to put on the other as he continued to walk. It was more of a business suit than a coat, really, but it kept him warm and had pockets for him to transfer his personal items to.

Rocket Agent Faleen

PostPosted: Sat May 07, 2011 9:23 pm

Well... It seemed like an innocent enough reason for a celebration... Faleen was not at all against it, it was, after all, another year that Team Rocket was holding strong, even when faced with many challenges throughout the year.

What caused the Agent eyebrows to arch, was when she got to the part when it said that they would be driving into Camphoreon city for the event... Why the city? why not the base where it had been last year?

"Hum..." She wasn't really that keen about going into the city,at all, but from the looks of the e-mail, this was styled like a sweep e-mail to many different individuals, this meant that there were bound to be a number of rockets who were interested in going.
Curiosity as to who was setting all this up, and who would be going, Faleen wasn't much of a drinker herself, but if others were going into the city to drink and party... who knew what kind of things could happen with the Rocket's kind of luck.

Faleen leaned back in her chair with a sigh, reading over the "wear relatively nice clothes" portion again.
Why couldn't it be in the base, she could just stay in uniform and not worry about finding something to wear...

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Jerome on the other hand, didn't put any thought into the 'nice clothing' part. Hell, he probably didn't even know the first thing about dressing nice.
No, the former gangster was in his usual sports pants, warn shoes and gray tank top. Not that he didn't look good in this, the grungy kind of appearance fit his form and his unique appearance well, but one couldn't exactly call it... 'nice'.

It was the exact same outfit even, when he managed to work with the computer to get the e-mail open, frowning to himself as he read it over a couple of times.
Getting back to the city sounded pretty cool...

Like it had been for the past couple of days, Lilith's room was dark. It was not precisely pitch-black, having a small lamp as the single light source, but it was dark enough that Lilith's conflicting thoughts and feelings and emotions had the ideal environment to take deep root and fester within her mind. She had not had any contact with anyone for days, and the only food she had consumed had been two large packs of sunflower seeds and a six-pack of soda. She was starting to get really hungry.

Of course, there was no way she could go outside. Not yet. She still needed some more time to herself, more time to think... Time to reflect. Her faith was gone, her Gods were gone... She could handle that. Of course she could. It would just take some time for her to cope with the idea that she could make her own worthless destiny. The hunger, unfortunately, was making it hard for her to concentrate. Perhaps... Perhaps she could go outside...?

Suddenly, there was a bright flash of light, making Lilith grimace and squint her eyes in the dim light that she was so used to. Through that same light, she could make out the figure of a pure-white Pokemon: a Mewtwo. She blinked, about to exclaim in surprise, then stopped herself, instead acknowledging the appearance of the Pokemon with a curious stare.

As quickly as he appeared, the Pokemon took firm hold on Lilith's wrist and yanked her to her feet, ushering a cry of shock from the young woman. "H-hey, let go of me! What are you doing?" The Pokemon either did not hear her or was deliberately ignoring her, for he said nothing as he teleported himself and Lilith, who was wearing naught but a tank-top, jeans, and a pair of sandals, out of the room of isolation.

She was very close to reprimanding him for using the 'dex communications systems for trivialities when he came to his point. On hearing said point, her first reaction was to refuse, to lie and say she had duty. And why shouldn't she? It was the first evening she had to herself in how long? To be fair, relaxation was like a duty unto herself, a required exercise to keep her functioning in top form. The responsibility fell to Izaya. If he hadn't provoked Seth, he wouldn't need an escort. That was his mess.

...Though at the same time, Aila had been stood up by clients before. It never sat well with her, and she had always prided herself on her dedication to punctuality with such matters. It wasn't fair to the client, who had done no wrong, to trample whatever expectations or plans he had had because of Izaya's actions.

The other Rocket would likely hear a long sigh of resignation, followed by a curt question, "When?"

The crimson-eyed man waited patiently as Aila thought it over. He could sense her hesitation and imagined what he assumed must have been the thoughts running through her mind. When, at last, he recieved her one-word reply, though, he was almost certain he had her.

"Tonight. In about...oh, an hour, actually. It should take about half an hour to get there by car, though, so if the answer is yes, you might want to start getting ready about now."

Alabaster returned to his Madam's quarters in full report, holding tightly onto the other woman's wrist as if she was a small child deserving punishment.

"Here you go, Madam." he smiled quaintly. The wan creature had not removed his strength from the woman's limb yet and even tightened it in forewarning. If she were to object in anyway, he'd break it. His Madam wanted her right now. She never mentioned that he couldn't bring back her company half broken.

Or half dead.

"Thank you." A feathery touch fell upon his shoulder and he nearly spun. To be praised as so was like sipping ambrosia from Zeus' own mighty palm. It wasn't just an honor, it held close status to the meaning of one's own existence.

"Hello, Lilith." Lennyka chirruped, smoothing a hand over her denim knee length skirt. That hand also fell upon twirling an invisible piece of thread upon her midriff blouse that was long enough to scrap the skirt's beginner edging. A baby Tepig which looked to be no older than the existence of dust in her room suctioned itself to her head. It was looking at Lilith as if she was a three armed mutant juggling a plethora of nagging children while riding a three person unicycle (if such an contraption was even plausible). "Care to join me for a drink tonight?"

Alabaster tightened his grip again. "Say yes." he commanded.

A party, huh? Well, maybe not so much a 'party' per se, but it was still enough like a party for that to be the only thing that mattered. After picking out the nicest thing he owned - dark blue jeans and a tshirt that didn't have any sort of random picture or writing on it, along with a pair of old sneakers - he recalled all three pokemon and put their pokeballs into his pocket before leaving the overcrowded trainee dorm and heading down the nearest set of stairs. A night out in Camphoreon to hang out with and meet people seemed like a really good idea - especially because he knew hardly anyone at all - that is, until he realized he didn't know how to get there from here. Not only that, he couldn't even drive himself, something about trainees needing to be supervised or something. Well crap, now what? ...well, maybe he could hitch a ride with someone else, so with a shrug he continued on his way.

Another bright flash of light appeared before Lilith's eyes before she beheld the sight of a room she had not seen before. She looked about, confused, before she felt a intense pain on her left wrist. Her eyes shut tightly as she winced in pain from the squeeze. She heard an all-too familiar voice nearby her and opened her eyes. Before her was Lennyka. ...Yeah, that would make sense.

"Ah... Evening, Len," she said, grinning through her clenched teeth. "Fancy seeing you here." Yes, this made a lot more sense, now. A stoic and violent Pokemon would be just the type that Len would have, Lilith reckoned.

"A drink...? Heh, I wouldn't-" Lilith's reply was cut short by the tightening of the Mewtwo's grip on her wrist. She grunted and gritted her teeth harder from the pain. "...I wouldn't mind a little something-something. Lead the way." While Lilith wasn't exactly excited about human contact so soon, she had to admit that a little time out of the bat-cave would do her some good. Besides, she wasn't so idiotic as to refuse an offer when a powerful Psychic Pokemon had her by the wrist and could easily break it.

Not long after the email was sent out, there was a knock at Faleen's door. On the other side waited a tiny woman wearing a cream colored sleeveless split necked tunic and brown slacks. A small mound of fluffy orange fur crouched with its nose at the foot of the door, snuffling loudly and trying to figure out what was on the other side.

A half hour of preparation time, an hour total in transit, and that left the estimate for the client meeting itself... Maybe a half an hour? An hour tops? She didn't know what kind of meeting it was, but surely it couldn't take but so long. Then she could come back to the base and probably have enough time at least to read for a while before sleeping.

It would be faster to use Pitre or Charmant. But she recalled him saying something about trusting traditional means of transport more than pokemon... Ugh, she really did hate cars. She had done well avoiding them for some time, but apparently that spell had come to an end.

"Fine." Her tone distinctly implied that she would rather be doing other things, but she kept a crisp professionalism to her words. "I'll be in the garage in twenty." Mood soured by the sudden derailing of her quiet evening in, she didn't wait for a reply before ending the call, returning the pokedex to its place at her side, and performing an about-face to redirect herself towards her room.

As stated, no more than twenty minutes later, the small agent appeared in the garage at a brisk pace, dark hair loose at her shoulders and uniform exchanged for a simple dress. She took a moment to file to borrow a car before turning to locate her charge.

Wondering who would be at the door, Faleen walked over to open it, tilting her head curiously before she smiled, recognizing her friend Nyx.
"Nyx, hello."

Faleen was not wearing her uniform this time, having managed to find something that seemed appropriate to wear.
It was odd not wearing boots, but pretty little flats would fit better with where they seemed to be doing... plus gray boots with her more feminine outfit... long shirt and leggings that ended below the calf would not look good.

"I take it you got the e-mail to?" She asked, glancing down at what was sniffing at the door. blinking at the pokemon. "Who... is this?"

"The same to you, it's quite a pleasure." Her sarcastic tone mocked. Her ever faithful servant smiled and tilted a head at his Madam.

"Where to, my Madam?" he inquired.

His answer was met with a light, "Take her to the garages. I've to see my brother."

No confirmation met his lips. Alabaster simply transcended the harp strings of space to the designated area. Come the duo's landing, Alabaster promptly released her wrist and moved to a hushed area of the vehicle home. He kept an eye on her, however. Madam would be greatly upset if she attempted bolt.

Dinkley One wasn't far from Dinkley Two's quarters. His room was simply a turn around the corridor, a pirouette on the heel or the falling skid of a face across the hall was all it took to reach his room. Len did not have to bump knuckles across the door frame to enter. Though, she should have . . . Sorano was walking around in a . . . lime green speedo?

"Ugh, Sorano . . ." It was hard to tell if she was remarking the sight or the smell. Both were incredibly horrendous, but the quaking stench of deep fried, long molded Magikarp fishsticks lightly dabbed with manly musk seemed much more tolerable.

"What are you wearing? No rather, where did you get a second one?"
Sorano shrugged. "Flea market."
"Uh, okay. Um. My goodness, it looks like your loins are choking . . . Go to the garages after you are done."
"Alright."
"Piget."

Len promptly made her way to the garage, flicking her Mewtwo away to do chores, much to his chagrin. Len smiled at Lili. Why exactly had the recluse become a recluse? There were reasons, she wished for answers.

"Piget." Heph likes ride.
