Kelly King 2.0 walks out onto the stage, dressed interestingly enough in an old school style of his. He looks out at the fans with a smirk. It swiftly becomes apparent that he is not heading to the ring tonight as he stands on the stage with a microphone in hand. Pushing his sunglasses up onto his face, he continues to smirk smugly at the fans, receiving his mixed reaction as per usual. 2.0 lifts the microphone up to his mouth. "It's no secret that I dislike this company a great deal. And yet I've been showing up here every week, to every show, since the Royal Rumble, to make a point. And that point is very... very simple. You see, there has always been one man in this wrestling business of ours who has been just out of my grasp as far as possible opponents. I have wrestled far and wide, entertained large and small crowds, and won midcard, tag team, and world title belts. But I have never faced off... against Jay Blue Lightning."
The crowd pops for GBL. "And this has never sat well with me. So, as you may remember, I made a point out of calling him out for a match after the Royal Rumble. I did not receive a definite answer. But I was not about to just disappear into the night, back to the grass that is almost certainly greener over in EWA or FFA or WWE:E. No."
"That brings me to last week and tonight. You see, last week, I... may or may not have been an indirect or direct cause of GBL's loss of his coveted WWFG Intercontinental Championship. And for that... I want to apologize deeply. I was at the commentary table not to distract you, but to remind you that I'm not going anywhere until I get you in that ring. And now that you don't have the Intercontinental title... I can't help but think you're not going to be preoccupied at the big dance! Your schedule seems to have freed up slightly!" King says this with a chuckle, as the tone he has insinuates that he is not, in fact, sorry. "And remember GBL... I'm not going away." King looks into the camera's very seriously, taking off his sunglasses and shaking his coat.
"I will. Not. Stop. Until I have my match with Lightning. Lightning... versus King. G B L vs 2 . 0. And I want it... at WrestleMania." He points down at his feet as the fans cheer loudly. "I want an answer from you GBL. Tonight. And if I don't get it by the time your match starts... I'm going to come get it myself." He says sternly.
