School: Sovereign Heights Prep School - working towards and Anthropology Major (A study of humans as a biological entity; in biological, evolutionary and cultural senses.)
Hobbies:
Debate and Discuss ○ Jakome loves to make discussions out of anything he hears and debating them in contrast to his own views if in fact they differ. Often he will seek to hang out with others just for this purpose. He enjoys having these as face to face conversations but when he has to he will seek out an online forum to find others to discuss with. These discussions are often based from his anthropological views and perceptive observations.
Outdoor Activities ○ Being part of the outside world is important to Jakome and he is more than happy to have a day away from his dingy apartment. Bike rides, hiking, swimming, etc. He loves to be around people in outside settings doing anything really, especially those which include large groups where he can observe people while having fun or doing a group activity.
Hermit of the Museum ○ When not out on the town (i.e. his friends are all busy or if it's bad weather, etc.) one can find Jakome in the museum, looking through the ancient civilizations wing over and over again. As he is working towards an Anthropology major he finds studying of past cultures fascinating and will often read through the open library connected to the museum about ancient cultures and look through the displays, taking in every piece of information in over and over again.
Exploring ○ Jakome loves to observe people and places which makes him passionate about exploring new corners of the city which are unique and new to him. From parks to other neighborhoods and to the beach he takes trips to expand his hometown view. He will often take bus rides downtown and walk there to back to his apartment to make sure he gets in a full glimpse.
Virtues:
Ardent ○ Jakome is an enthusiast. In any aspect in his life he enjoys he will be ready and willing to be there. He believes in experiencing life, learning from it and gain both a better appreciation and understanding of it. He's always up to do something and thus rarely spends his time doing nothing. This leaves him with an open-mind when it comes to trying new experiences.
Perceptive ○ He wants to see everything. Jakome strives to be observant and has a knack for picking up on things which most people miss. Though often he'll have to take a moment to step back to take in the whole picture, Jakome will log scenes in his head, keeping attention to detail. With this, others can look to him to notice those things and point them out and benefit from it with him.
Integrity ○ Jakome is consistent in his opinions, actions and morals. He believes in honesty and that having a set of ethics, a sense of right and wrong, is a valuable trait in anyone. Sincere in his words and actions, he stands behind his ethical values and will not sway from them. His ethics are his set of guidelines for living, such as having self responsibility and reliance, responsibility to those around him, being honest, loyalty, to do things that make yourself and others around you proud, and attempt to seeing things in an unbiased light. He is aware of what he stands for and what he finds acceptable and not acceptable which makes him aware of himself and his values.
Well Read ○ Jakome prides himself in being book smart and strives to expand this knowledge. He has a willingness to learn and a thirst for more knowledge, which makes his mind like a sponge when it comes to learning new facts from (mainly) books, magazines, a fellow classmate or a professor. He wishes to add to his internal library and therefore takes what he can from outside sources.
Flaws:
Conceited ○ Jakome has self proclaimed that he is an intellectual. He stands firms in his beliefs but this has a side effect of giving him an ego. Excessively proud of what he does and how he talks he will often come off as overbearing in a heated discussion and egotistical in nature.
No sense of humor ○ Being one who enjoys discussion and even small talk, Jakome has never developed a true sense of humor. He understands what "funny" is, but the reaction is never quite there. Mainly due to the fact that jokes cannot be expanded on in a discussion or talk, he usually will ignore them or, in an attempt to humor, over-react by laughing a lot or telling a terrible joke on his own. In addition to this, he also finds pranks and sarcasm in bad taste.
Defensive ○ Jakome loves to discuss, loves to debate and therefore will defend his position in an argumentative manner, most often to the point of sounding overbearing to others. He can be overly so and react immediately and in an overly exuberant manner which is often a turn off when others go into deep subject manner with him.
Irresponsible ○ Outside of his Anthropology responsibilities, Jakome fails with all other aspects. He is terrible with money and time management and has a habit of being unreliable due to his self-laid busy schedule. With his parents paying for his small apartment and school, Jakome has plenty of money to throw around doing anything and everything he desires, which means he is often away spending it on various trips into the city. This is partially why he has such terrible time management, one can never expect him to be completely on time even if he's willing to be there. Since his mind wraps around other things he can often be forgetful of important dates or times. He has little sense of answering for these and other things as he is often far too conceited to see his errors.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Pale Green and oval shaped.
Hair: Dirty-blond and curly which goes down to the nape of his neck.
Face: Long with prominent cheekbones with an elongated nose. A bright smile is usually on his face.

Squire - At this stage Etemenanki has the magical ability similar to that used of ancient Babylon, the ability of wards – or in this case, warding off evil. When striking his ceremonial blade towards an opponent, the magic channels through it and he can physically knock an enemy back, in some cases down, by use of this warding magic, making them move away from himself or from a fellow ally. The force comes from the blade in a manner of a wave of magic after a thrust of the blade, not seen by the eye. It has no damage given, just something of that of a push which will allow for just enough room for an ally to recuperate or make an attack. At this stage, however, he must be within a range somewhere in the vicinity of 6 feet. The closer he is to an opponent, the better it works. This maneuver can only be used in short spurts and each time he uses it the weaker he gets. There is an average of three uses per fight.
Knight – I would like to wait to RP with him further until deciding on this. I wouldn't be sure whether it would be more useful to have a blade at this point or further his magic abilities once becoming a Knight.

Jakome could be described best an active observer. He loves to be perceptive of the world around him while being an extrovert in nature. Zealous to do everything and anything that he can, Jakome lives in his universe seeking experiences from all different sources, trying to see every angle imaginable. His extroverted nature can be overtaken by his love of debate and discussion. As one who wants to major in scientific study he loves to debate over anything and everything he can, turning some of the most mundane subjects into lengthy conversations. This can send negative vibes to others as he may come off as pompous, but he is never malicious with his debates, only overbearing at times.
When Jakome is not out in the hustle and bustle of the world he can be found in the museum, scouring through the ancient civilizations wing or in the library, reading on ancient cultures. He considers himself to be intellectual, though more often than not it falls more to how well he can debate someone to think of his points and perhaps change theirs. As a self-proclaimed “intellect” he often finds himself coming off as distant when speaking to others. His mind is constantly working, logging information taking mental pictures and analyzing what's before him rather than staying in the moment (unless it's a discussion he's dragged another person into).
If one were to want to step into something Jakome is truly passionate about, that is to say when he's not trying to invade someone else's passions just to experience them, they will find that his main outlet in life is exploring. Exploring the park, the downtown area, the library, the museum, the beach, etc. He lives alone in an apartment near the school so finds most of enjoyment to be outside of the small living quarters and around others. In social settings though, he can become quite awkward when the conversations steer awry from anything debatable. His main weakness? Jokes. He is normally the one to say “I don't get it.” and laugh obnoxiously at a terrible joke. Pranks and sarcasm don't strike his fancy either as he generally can't find a way to turn it into a discussion.
Given his pursuit in his major, Jakome has takes extreme value of both integrity and loyalty. One must adhere to ethics and one must be loyal to himself and those around. This is something he carries with him and can be outwardly when he is a knight. This alone however, does not help him. He is a tactician by nature, watching the events as they unfold, extrapolating information and placing it back in the form of strategy. This makes him a good asset, but it can be shaken away once he is thrust into the the heat of actual combat. Thus is why his magic is mainly used for keeping the enemy away. Once out of the element of something he “likes”, i.e. direct conflict, Jakome can easily break due to stress.The above was my first explanation of of Jakome so I extrapolated many of the virtues and flaws from this.

Don't forget to post him in the stamping thread, first of all ! Otherwise, I gave him a look over and saw nothing that really looked odd to me. You might want to put more emphasis on his last flaw that he's bad with money/keeping with a budget, and less on the why he's like that ? But that's just me. He looks good to go to me !

I think Well-Read should focus more on his willingness to learn instead of being able to pull facts from a book. The latter's more hobby-oriented, and the former would say more about his personality. ^^
